Large numbers of athiests have begun entering the capital demanding a total ban on all religion claiming that allowing people freedom to exercise their religions was a violation of the rights of athiests. They are demanding the government seize all religious owned property like churches and mosques.
The last time something like this happened, the athiests tried to oust the government which responded by exterminating them. But government sources say that is unlikely this time as long as the protestors remain peaceful and do not call for the overthrow of the government, and do not engage in terrorist attacks. However Howard Long, the head the National Athiests Union, refused to denounce violence saying athiests had the right to use all means necessary to make Whittier into an official athiest state.

Geneticon offers support to crush the rebels if it is needed. For a price of course. We do not take kindly to those who attempt to overthrow religion.

As for the nation of Socialist Whitter, we'll help in stopping this, as long as it is peacefully done. Athiests have no right to stop religion because no right says "you don't need to be exposed to other beliefs".

While Kanami is not predominatly secular, and holds no ill wills to secular nations. Kanami it's self does have a moderat seperation of Church and State, but everyone in the country has the right to their belifes.

It is our deep concern that the Government give into the demands of banning all religion. You feel that your rights are violated however, if you are free to chose atheism, they are being treated no more diffrently than the people of religious establishment. And that is how it should be. Overthrowing any religious establishemnt, would make you no better than them.

Kanami will not condone nor support any actions that violate the rights of others. We will also NOT tolerate crimes against humanity as Immo had outlined. We are not afraid to do what is right, to ensure the rights of everyone else.

The demonstrators, in the middle of Whittier city, though still peaceful are becoming restless, chanting "death to religious people". The government has deployed the police to maintain order and endure the protests remain peaceful. Meantime, the NAU's Howard Long continues to give fiery inciting speeches attacking religion and calling for churches and synagogues to be burned to the ground.
The police said there was nothing they could do because the socialist constitution protects his right to free speech as long as he a Whittier citizen. But once he actually does something, they can make their move.

One motorist, waiting for red light on the way work said of the protestors "They need to get a life".

The continuing heated and threatning speaches are making us nervous. We do respect and endorese the hodling to free speach and peaceful assembly, but we do hope that if things get too heated up, your police force will act in the intrest of law and order, and safty and rights of ctizens.

Whittier is a secular country with a seperation between state and religion. While people are free to practice their religions in public or in private as they chose, they are still required to abide by the nation's other laws. This includes paying taxes to the government. As taxpayers, the churches and mosques and other religious groups in our nation are entitled to the same rights and services as everyone else. We find it highly deplorable that the NAU is making inflammatory remarks which we feel are aimed at inciting violence against citizens of the UPR.
However, we will move to curtail Mr. Long's speech rights as long as the demonstrations remain peaceful and he does not outright call for the overthrow of the government. Police have been dispatched to ensure order and to protect the right of way of passersby. Though we are asking all persons to avoid the areas of the city currently the site of the protests for their own safety.
