Ramon crawled into the narrow space, and motions for you to follow him.
"Good news, esé! These camarillas are secret, and his "Excellency"s troops can't find you here. I think your amigos are coming soon, so you can discuss clandestine matters as you please."
He slings his rifle over his shoulder and climbs back out. "I'm outta here. Vaya con dios, compadre!".

Jose looked around at the headquarters of the GDL. It wasn't as nice as their headquarters but he respected that. Carlos had wanted a nice CP and the CIA was only to happy to oblige. He still thought the money could have been put to better uses.
They were searched as the entered the building. That didn't surprise him, he wouldn't have trusted them either, though if they wanted to get at the GDL there were many better ways than sacrificing some of the PLC's top people. But now time to get down to business.
"Hello, my name's Jose," he said as he shook hands with the man from the GDL. The other man had a firm handshake and looked him right in the eyes. This man was not one to be underestimated.
"I am Julio. Can I offer you a drink?" He gestured and a lieutenant ducked over to the bar counter. "We can make most anything..." He shifted his weight in his chair "My partner has a strong distaste for the CIA, which we do know you are a part of. This aside, we do have common goals. And if we work together, I feel that we may have a fruitful and profitable relationship."

"I wouldn't mind a drink, how about a Serena Libre?"
He watched the lieutenant start to mix the drink, but now it was time for business. He wasn't that surprised they knew about the CIA's support of the PLC and so he decided that there was no point in denying it since it wouldn't hurt the PLC.
"We also believe that we have common goals, and we feel that we can help each other out greatly, that is why we called for this meeting. About the CIA, I don't like them much either, but they do provide a lot of help to our organization. This is in fact part of the agreement we were hoping to make with the GDL. But on to the main matter of the agreement. We would like to make a deal whereby the GDL and the PLC agree not to attack each other and even support each other in certain operations. We could even help in your fight against the EAC and together we could make big inroads into other provinces. We could help provide munitions and supplies to the GDL including many modern American weapons. Any funding problems that you have could be solved with help from us, possibly in the form of loans. With the supplies that we could provide you, the expertise of your soldiers and the combined manpower of both our factions, we believe that we could become a powerful force. This is our proposal to the GDL and it is certainly open to change."
"I agree, there is no reason for us to fight. We should be working together. In fact, I will lay everything out for you. We do need firearms, but our budget is ok. My superiors have a strong interest in your cocaine production, but protecting the haciendistos has become quite profitable, but this has attracted..."
The door flew open and two soldiers were supporting Miguel San Tómas on there shoulders. His shirt was bloodstained and he was uttering profanity in Spanish and English.. He grabbed the bottle of pisco and smashed the top off, dumping a copious amount onto a bullet wound, and then an equally copious amount into his mouth. "Stupid putas! Voy a matar all of those pigs!" A soldier tried to calm him. "Sir! Its ok, the bullet didn't go all the way in. You'll be fine."
San Tómas swore, "I want to be able to walk with my men without getting shot! Those anarchists are everywhere!"
He turned to Jose. "Hey CIA Cochino! I bet you know who I am. You know I hate the CIA right? They left me to die, you know? They forgot all about me. I hate those bastards, but if you can get those anarchists out of my backyard, I'd be your wife if you wanted." The men dragged him upstairs, and the lieutenant making the drink pulled out a medic bag and followed the screaming San Tómas.
Julio stood up, pulled out a new bottle of pisco and continued pouring the drink. "We'll take up your offer to fight the EAC. In fact, our sources indicate that they may be importing weapons from across the border. Something I should mention, though, is that we have sent several men to scout possible EAC locations, and we are handing over these locations to the gobierno. My sources indicate that there are a few hardline anti-communists in the military. If we can befriend one of them, we may be able to move closer to the capitol. In summary, we need three things. We need to stop the tide of the EAC. If you could distract them, or halt their arms imports, anything to take the pressure off of our protectees and ourselves would be splendid. Secondly, we do need some more modern equipment. My men are good with explosives, but the most we have now is some TNT and white phosphorus grenades from WWII. Thirdly, we need help finding generals in the Calderian military who would be sympathetic to our cause. If you can help us with these, I expect good things will come for both of us."

OOC: Sorry for the long time in replying, i was very busy.
IC: "I think we can help provide these things. We will look into halting the arms imports of the EAC, but we are not sure how well we can do this. We would possibly be able to provide a distraction against the EAC and maybe some joint military venture could be worked out. Perhaps we could attack them from two directions.
About the weapons you asked for. We are getting in another shipment of new weapons and we'll see how many explosives come in. We can always get word to the CIA that we would like some more explosives, and we can get you some advanced firearms soon, although we need those too so I can't promise how many we can get you right now.
The support of military generals might be a little easier to get. I'm sure there are some anti-communist elements in the military and we could ask the CIA for some connections. If all else fails we could "persuade" some generals with a little money.
In return for this we will also need a few small things other than the mutual things like military cooperation. The main thing we need is military expertise. Our soldiers have plenty of equipment and supplies but they lack military experience and some veteran officers to lead them. Perhaps you could spare some of your officers to help train our army in some finer tactics. Some of our officers could be sent to some of your units to observe. Small units of ours could go on small operations with your soldiers to gain some experience. We're not asking about doing this during high-stakes missions, but during some more routine military operations. This is what we would like in return for the things we will provide you with. So if you agree with these requests than very good things can start happening for both the GDL and the PLC."
"These terms are acceptable." Monteverde breathed calmly, stroking the beard on his chin. "I can send some of our lieutenants to train your men immediately. We'd also be happy to take some of your men along on our patrols of the villages." He sipped his drink. "I look forward to a good working relationship with your faction."

"Great then. Hopefully this high level of cooperation between us will help both of our factions. We will contact you about weapons or about military generals and just contact us if you need our help with anything. Adios, amigo."
The GDL lieutenants entered the bunker. "Mr. Oberer, we shall immeditely get down to business. We have just dealt a severe blow to the leftist movements within our territory. I feel that such strong action is needed if we are to be taken seriously. Presently, we feel that we have more in common than we have in difference. If we were to, together, display our combined power in the capitol, we would inspire terror into those who wish us harm and we would empower those who would support us. What do you think of this?"
"Officers. I am for direct actions and agree with you. The government and all the leftists must see that we've got what it takes and that we are not afraid to use force. If you wish to aid us in our offensive, I am the most satisfied. And if that is the case, I'll be sending some of my best officers to GDL's HQ as soon as we are finished here, for we need to synchronize our plans."
"We are looking forwards for the best kind of cooperation between our factions. An ally is always needed in our struggle against the common enemy."
"we have several plans developed already. If you are interested, we could show them to you. We were thinking of hitting their financial institutions. It would help our respective causes and it would undermine the people's confidence in the government."
"Me and my officers are glad to share our plans of operation with you. However, although we appreciate your cooperation, I must insist on using my own designed tactics which suit the army of OFNC the best. And for that, I'd like to introduce my well-planned offensive, "The humanstorm"."
Oberer took a map of Caldelaria from his desk and put it on a table. The map contained several arrows representing attack directions. Actually it had 3 arrows on it, the middle one pointing towards the capital, while the two other ones pointing somewhere else were hardly noticeable. Possible flanking directions...
He drew another arrow on the map, and wrote a sign "GDL" on the base of the arrow.
OOC: Now we should change back to the original topic, huh? I mean, this is something the others should be informed about. :)
