The ASDU is a region and alliance of Socialist powers. We are economicly stronge and politically stable. The ASDU though has no Charter to go on and so members follow no guidlines of what the region should and shouldn`t do. This thread is to help draw up a charter and also maybe get some new socialist members into our region. As UN delegate I feel obligated to form a charter for such an economicly, politically and militarilly stronge region.

The Worker's State of Kulikovo wishes to be a part of this alliance. To unify all Socialist nations and to oppose right-winged aggression.

Pythogria is somewhat Capitalist but in some places is Socialist.

As long as this isn't radical Socialism or Communism, go right ahead with it.

Thats great, what region are you currently in. If none then would you like to join ours? If you have one then maybe our regions can become allies?

I would like to state that only two nations I believe in our region have adopted full out communism, the rest are socialist to the core. The communist though dont do much at all, very to-them-selfs kind of people ya know?

Same with most of the ASDU. As for my nation we mix many different style into our government. I saying like democracy through socialist policy and economic stucture through capitalistic mixed policies. If that makes sense at all to you?

It's fine. I just hate gross capitalism (Wal-Mart, Enron). Moderated Capitalism if just fine, and healthy for the economy.

as for the wal-mart type of things, I believe in government controling one type of store. This way money from the people goes to the government when buying things like food and items of clothing and other things (Junk) so then tax isn`t so much. Also food in made by the government who employ people to work on government farms. Pay is good and housing is on the farm. work contracts for four years provide a stable job for the person so he doesn`t have to worry about loosing his job.

If you don't want to tax the population then how do you redistribute wealth? Is wealth redistribution a priority in Nerotika? I'm actually confused though because the UN dossier on your nation states that the average income tax is 100%.
Also, unless your Nerotika is in a state of violent revolution, combating serious counter-revolution, or at war then civil liberties could be a bit higher.

I dont really pay attention to my nationstates stats that much. I go by my own ways instead of what the NS staff picks out for me. In my world tax is in the amount around 20 to 30% instead of 100%.
