History

Pre-Dynasty Volitaia
Archeological evidence records a civilisation of highly advanced farmers being replaced by a hunter gatherer civilisation at around 10000 BC, the evidence reveals an early form of the sickle and other stone tools, in this time the Volitaian Desert was a rich farming land, however, possibly due to overgrazing, this farming land slowly became desiccated and formed what was called the Volitaian Desert in around 2500 BC, naturally the farming civilisation moved to the Volitaia River to continue farming in what was now a far more arable land.

Scholars have continously changed the views on Ancient Volitaia several times depending on the archeological evidence, many agree that the Nomadic time ended at around 6000 BC when evidence shows that people were constructing large permanant buildings and beggining to herd cattle, before the Desert had formed, the south western corner of Volitaia had become a booming center of civilisation, which as mentioned before slowly dissolved and fled to the Volitaia river.

Those who did not flee to the safety of the Nile migrated hoping to find fertile lands in other areas of the region, these settlers founded many of the modern neighbours of Toopoxia and assisted in the creation of many thousands of other civilisations.

[edit]Early Dynasty Volitaia
No-one can agree on a specific date of when the Volitaian dynasty came to power, most agree that it happened at around 3100 BC, at around the same time the Volitaian River villages merged into one power ruled in the city of Naibe, interesting to note that this city was originally called Volitaia, the name Volitaia also originated at this time, it is known that this name originates from the King known as Ak-Voli, Volitaia means "Peoples Voli"

The Volitaian state made an expansion which is well known due to its coinciding with the invention of writing, the borders expanded up to the Regi Luni Mountains in the East, Lake Luni in the South, Volitaian Sea in the East and what is now modern Hydac in the North.

[edit]Third Dynasty
Due to its unique position in the world Volitaia became a highly defendable state, after several defensive wars with neighbouring nations, which all failed, the nation turned its attention towards peace and trading, in this time of cultural expansion the civilisation built many temples and monuments which have become popular tourist attractions to this date.

Along with the cultural advances this time brought about political strength, the King was now able to call upon any slave thanks to the bringing about of a cencus which gives archeologists from today the ability to tell us that the population of Volitaia at around 1000 BC was about 26,000,000.

[edit]Rebellion and the Fourth Dynasty
This extreme population explosion mixed with the sudden drought of the Volitaia river led to a rebellion which resulted in the closing of the Third Dynasty and the seperation of the Volitaian provinces into seperate kingdoms each vying for power, many of these Kings refered to themselves as being the Fourth Dynasty each one believing that it would be their families which would unify Volitaia.

Due to a long period of intermarriage between dynastical families the situation ended up with the Lower and Upper Volitaian Kings each wishing to destroy the other.

King Ak-Nupai eventually unified the nation via a long military campaign which continued beyond the borders of Volitaia and through to many other nations including overseas colonies, The Capitol was moved from Naibe to Volitaia and a huge royal construction system took place, Ak-Nupai is often regarded as the best of the Fourth Dynasty Kings.

[edit]Hykosian Period
A Semitic tribe established in modern Hydac (possibly where the name derives from) began a military campaign to push back the Volitaian borders, they managed to sieze many of the Volitaian overseas colonies and broke through the tough borders of the nation using a new technology, the "War Chariot", The Fourth Dynasty ended with a Hykosian King ruling Volitaia.

The Hykosian Empire began to crumble due to corruption and unrest, many of the Volitaian provinces never returned to Volitaia and the area known as Volitaia fell into unrest, many of the improvements made in the third and fourth dynasties were destroyed, several attempts to again re-unify Volitaia failed without attempt and for hundreds of years the area remained in unrest.

[edit]Pre-Volitaian Toopoxia
Toopoxican ethnicity comes from Latin Roman explorers making their way through the Mongolian empire to trade with Far Eastern nations, records have been made of a Roman settlement in the Far East dating back from 200 BC records have shown that there was a rebellion by a General called Luni who siezed the colonial territory and proclaimed himself King, the Civlisation suffered from its seperation from Rome, it came to the attention of a Raider civilisation who enslaved the populace.

The Toopoxicans, or Lunites, lived as slaves until a great period of civil unrest, assisted by the nearby Frozopians the Humans managed to free themselves of slavery but instead were enslaved by the Frozopians, a few of the Lunites fled the Frozopian rule hoping to return to Rome.

[edit]Slavic Toopoxia
The Toopoxicans exodus carried on through to the slavic lands where a large portion of the populace settled, it was here that the exodites gained the derogatory term of Toopoxicans (Of Goblin Blood) referring to the dirty nature of the Toopoxicans, there was a period of ethnic cleansing against the Toopoxican settlers which eventually pushed the Toopoxicans away from the Slavic areas and further south into the middle East.

[edit]Imperial Republic of Toopoxia
The Toopoxicans arrived at Volitaia during its time of great unrest and took advantage of the situation crushing Kings and petty nations quickly building an empire, Volitaia was again unified under the rule of the Toopoxican Dynasty of King Lexin, a great hero who had led the assult on southern Volitaia, a lot of the original town and city names were kept, though there were some alterations to Slavic Town names, early Toopoxia was ruled by a Sovreign for a few hundred years until the line of Lexin died out and an Emporer was quickly elected in 641 AD.

Emporer Seovic I (927-945) of Toopoxia is recorded as the greatest of the Toopoxican Emporers, it was under his rule that the Toopoxican nation became as it stands to date, he drafted migrants from other nations to help subvert the still majority Volitaian race, most new citizens came from Frankish nations, the religion of the nation was converted from the Volitaian gods to the growing Orthodox christian religion.

During the Middle Ages the Toopoxicans attempted to shroud themselves in secrecy in light of the many Crusades of the time, occasionally Toopoxican soldiers would be sent to assist a neighbouring nation or a nation whos downfall could destroy Toopoxia, in contrast to this isolationism was a large sweep in convesion to Orthodox in closeby nations, most missionaries ended up dead or simply never returned.

(Updates still needed)

[B]Head of State

The De'Facto ruler of Toopoxia is Lucian Brave who succeeded from David Du'Font during the Toopoxican Civil War of 2012, an interesting thing to note is that Lucian Brave has died once before, his mind was then uploaded from the body and implanted into a grunt believed to be Private Oktonius Grovlosk, Lucian rarely makes public appearences but when he does he is sure to take every precaution to people not seeing him in person, whether this is vanity driven or purely a secretive thing is not known.

Army

Toopoxican soldiers are unlike regular soldiers used by conventional military, the more similar image is that of the Cyborg, hence the name Pygmalion, Cyborg in Toopoxican Latin, there are currently 80,000,000 Pygmalion Soldiers on active duty each one is grouped into a squad of 10 (a Decem), there are ten Decems into one Centuri, ten Centuris into one Mille and so on until you reach Centurmille, each sqaud will consist of the following.

2x Gravis Pygmalion:
Armed: P206 Chaingun, PIZ Rocket Launcher
Equipment: PDBS2 Battle Suit, Grey Fox recon, 6x Anti Tank Mines

4x Normallis Pygmalion:
Armed: P206 Chaingun
Equipment: PDBS1 Battlesuit, Grey Fox Recon

1x Arcarius Pygmalion:
Armed: PMagCoil Sniper Rifle
Equipped: PDBS1 Battle Suit, Grey Fox Recon

1x Venenum Pygmalion:
Armed: P206 Chaingun, Venenum Chamber
Equipment: PDBS1 Battlesuit, LS Napalm Bomb

Navy= Built into Suit

PDBS1
PDBS1 Battlesuits are light armoured troops comparable to a Light Tank armour, they have, like all armours, weak points and will eventually die, they also require food and drink like humans so can be starved out.

PDBS2
PDBS2 Battlesuits are tougher but less manueverable than a normal Battlesuit, similar to a medium tank, due to the weight a strong person is required to use these machines and are required only for anti-Tank and Air.
