It had become known to the Abh Empire that the Sephrioth Empire was experiencing trouble with rebels. The Imeprial Admiral, Admiral Gaf'ton, appraised a map of the galaxy along with the Abh sphere of influence. Both times that the Empires had come into contact with each other, was usually on the field of battle shooting at each other.

These recent developments had put the Abh in a position to put past troubles behind both parties along with gaining some influence in other nations.

Message to the Sephrioth Empire
From the Abh Empire,

We know about your trouble with rebels and feel that we can aid you in your time of crisis. There is an old run down forward fire base in your territory that we would be willing to acquisition from you as a means of bringing a military presence in your nation. As such, we will add to the defense of your nation should it come under attack. Should you accept our request, we will bring the base back up to code with a few of our little trinkets.

"Excellent. They have accepted our offer. Amerylk, I want you to get me a supply fleet and some of our best engineers. I want this out dated hunk of scrap brought back up to code in a weeks time"

"Yes sir. What ships do you wish to garrison it with?"

"A collection of Victory Class Destroyers, Rambirds, Whitestars, and the new Abh Destroyers."

The Abh woman saluted. "Yes sir. I will get the crews to their ships so that they may prepare to depart."

A small squadron of ships will arrive in the system within a weeks time to began upgrading the base.

A week later:

15 Abh Destroyers, 10 Victory Class Destroyers, 20 Whitestars, and 10 Rambirds pulled out of a tear in the fabric of space. Quickly behind them was a large Supply Fleet equipped to add a few nice details to the region.

This is Admiral Gaf'ton of the Abh Empire here with the garrison forces that will be manning this base. Our supply ships have the necessary materials to begin upgrading this facility.

"Alright people take her in nice and easy. Tell the supply fleet to break formation and prepare to drop cargo and workers."

Supply ships opened their cargo bays and dropped their equipment for construction. Workers in pressurized suits and contsruction bots began filtering out and going to work on the orbital base.

A shuttle was launched from one of the destroyers as it headed for the orbital base. It docked and Admiral Gaf'ton strode out with a team of engineers to appraise the facility and make internal modifications if needed.

Outside, crews worked long and hard to update some of the armor on the outside and put in new defense systems.

The graffiti was hardly a problem on the inside of the station since it could all be removed with ease. Yes, new walls would have to go up and a few pieces of art would have to be hung but it wasn't a bad setup. Definantly better than starting from scratch.

Gaf'ton lead his troop to the reactors and generators to see what type of shielding this station had and if it needed to be replaced.

Gaf'ton's clyuno started flashing to coinside with Purvaryua's voice. "Pulse cannons, rail guns, and lightning turrets are in place. We are moving onto putting in the torpedoe tubes."

"Alright." Gaf'ton turned to his chief. "Move the destroyers into position around the station. We'll head to the docking bay next to see how that looks. I imagine we'll have to expand on its current position."

The fire base rocked from the impact of the fighter wings. Gaf'ton caught Amerylk by the waist as she began to fall down the stairs. The company had just arrived at the docking bay when the fighters arrived. "All ships launch fighter wings. Pervuryua, get that defense grid active and blast those bastards out of the sky."

"Yes your highness."

Pulse cannon turrets began sliding out of newly crafted compartments and opened fire on the inbound fighters. 20 Star cutters launched from a nearby destroyer and were inbound on the head hunters.

More Star Cutters launched from nearby destroyers as they to came in to close the trap on the rebels. About a hundred fighters now added to the forces along with more system defenses coming on line along with the repairs.

The destroyers finally closed in and told the fighters to hold back while they unleashed a barrage. Yellow fire ripped through space as the Anti-proton cannons opened up and let loose their fiery on the head hunters. Once the barrage was over, the star cutters dived back in with vengence.

Fighters returned to their respective hangars and the Abh ships returned to their patrols.

The Imperial Admiral went back to inspecting the docking facilities while repairs and replacements went on outside the station.

"So take note of the docking bay. We are going to need to expand it so we may add more fighters and I want this place ray shielded so if something explodes in here, the station won't go with it. Also, we will need to requisition some more supplies so we can add repair facilities."

Amerylk started walking back up the stairs away from the docking bay. "Alright, I believe we can gather the necessary materials in an appropriate time."

Gaf'ton nodded. "Purvuryua. What's the status on the defense systems?"

"Admiral, all defense measures have been placed and my team is coming to inside to make some adjustments to the shielding system."

"Keep up the good work."

"Well at least we know this fortress will be put to good use. All systems online?"

"Yes sir."

"Alright then. Shields up and I want all turrets trained on the destroyers."

Panels rolled aside while turrets extended to track onto the incoming destroyers. The station looked like a porccupine with every turret type sticking out. Space literally lit up with intense laser fire follwed by barrage after barrage of torpedoes and mobile mines.

A single Victory Class Destroyer exited from Hyperspace and was on attack vector to take out the rebel ships.

The darkness of space once again lit with the intense energy coming from the station directed at the rebels.

The destroyer slipped back into hyperspace while several supply ships exited. Materials were dropped of for the extension of docking bays and for additions to allow larger ships to dock as well.

New shield generators had been installed along with an EA field generator. The Abh company moved towards the information network of this place to see what needed to be updated.
