OOC-This is my first RP of this kind. Only constructive criticism please.

IC-Pharoah Demetrios II and Minister Zazamoukh were conversing together about the search for a bride for Prince Constantine, who would be the next Pharoah of all Egypt. Minister Zazamoukh was sent to issue a letter to other nations-

The Pharoah of Egypt, Demetrios II, seeks a bride for his son, Prince Constantine who is the Heir to the Throne. Prince Constantine's possible spouse should be respectful and polite, open minded and open to new things. Also, the nation of which the bride comes from shall have diplomatic relations with Egypt.

Should Egypt require it, Pythogria is willing to provide 500 Black Ops agents for security at the wedding if it happpens.

We have a few questions for, and about Prince Constantine prior to any consideration being done.
1: How old is he?
2: What is his appearence?
3: What is he looking for in a wife(beside that which is listed)?
4: What are his hobbies?
5: What is his stance on religions(especially those that are not his), and what is his religion?

The queen of Tarayshia sat in her studdy, reading over the letter from this nation. Although the queen herself couldn't simit herself to be a bride, she thought she knew one of her advisors that would like to. However, she had a few questions for the nation. She got out some paper and wrote them down and sent it to the nation.

Egypt accepts the Pythogrian security offer. Also, for Theao, here are the answers.

Queen Lehana the nation of Tarayshia

Pharoah Demetrios II was sitting down on his throne, talking to his daughter, Princess Theodora when Minister Zazamoukh brought the info on the suitors to him. The Pharoah made a statement after reading the info.

''To Tarayshia and Theao,
The suitors that you have in your nations seem like respectful young women. I, my ministers and Prince Constantine will meet to discuss which suitor we shall choose. We thank you for your time in reading this and we hope that no hard feelings, etc come forth after choosing.''

OOC-Other nations can join in too still.

OOC-If no other suitors come, then I will choose between Tarayshia and Theao.

(OOC: What do we do now? Do we wait until the prince makes the decition? Also;no hard feelings on my end.whoever works for the prince.)

OOC-I will choose soon, Tarayshia but I am hoping for more suitors. Also, thanks for understanding.

IC-Pharoah Demetrius II sat in his throne, his daughter sitting in her ''Juinor Throne'' next to him and Minister Zazamoukh beside him. The Pharonic Guard stood in attention, ministers and officals waiting for the choosing. Prince Constantine's letter that stated the suitor he wished to meet was given to a offical who read-

''From Prince Constantine, Servant of the Heavens, Son of the Pharoah
I have thought of the two suitors from Tarayshia and Theao. I have after some time decided which one I will meet. I have chosen Nadia from Tarayshia. She seems like a respectful woman. To Theao, I hope no hard feelings or anything, I don't want to be rude or anything in your nation's sight.''

The Pharoah's Minister, Zazamoukh was then told to send a letter to Tarayshia's Queen.

''To Queen Lehana,
I bring to you news about the Prince. He has chosen Nadia from your nation. He wishes to meet her in Demetriana, the city of his residence. Constantine, Pharoah Demetrios II, Princess Theodora, Minister Zazamoukh (who writes this letter) and others will meet you there. May the Heavens guide Tarayshia.''

OOC-This will get going as soon as Tarayshia responds as I chose her suitor.

To: Prince Constantine and his royal family

Hello,
Queen Lehana and I Nadia thank you for your invite to your nation. We will arive very shortly in your grand city.

The young woman rushed home and packed, knowing that this trip would change her life. She brought all sorts of garments with her, some books to read and a fluit for playing.
She was ready to go as soon as the signal was given;

The Pharoah gave orders to be respectful to Nadia, Prince Constantine got ready to meet her as well as Princess Theodora and Minister Zazamoukh waited to greet her. When Nadia came, she would be greeted by Zazamoukh, who wore ministerial robes with a Ankh necklace. ''Nadia. That seems like a nice name.'' Zazamoukh thought to himself as he waited for her arrival.

''I hope everything goes well.'' Constantine said, fixing himself up. ''I'm sure it will, Royal one.'' said an assistant. ''I am sure of it too.'' Constantine said, waiting for Zazamoukh to escort her to the palace.

Princess Theodora got herself ready as well, hoping to get a chance to meet the young woman from Tarayshia.

The Pharoah meanwhile was resting in his Throne Room, chatting with some ministers.

The boat docked two weeks after the letters had begun and Nadia found herself in the beautiful nation. The young woman walked off the boat, her green eyes scanning around to see if anyone was around to greet her. Nadia wore a blue silk dress that reached her ankles, her red hair twisted on top of her head and sandles were upon her feet. Around her neck hung a silver simple neckless with a gold heart on it.

Minister Zazamoukh went to Nadia and said ''I am Minister Zazamoukh. I will take you to the Prince.'' He escorted her through the city, pointing out the many places like the statues of Osiris, Isis and Ra before taking her to the palace. In the palace, Prince Constantine, Princess Theodora and Pharoah Demetrios II were waiting, along with the ministers and others. Zazamoukh brought Nadia inside and said ''Pharoah and Imperial children, I bring you Nadia of Tarayshia!'' The Pharoah stood and said ''Nadia, welcome to Egypt.'' Theodora, a youthful child greeted Nadia afterwards. And then, Constantine came and said ''It is a pleasure to meet such a beautiful woman as yourself.'' He kissed her hand and then said ''Zazamoukh, take the ministers out. I want to talk to Nadia and introduce her to my family.'' Zazamoukh bowed and said ''Ministers, outside!'' and he left with them. ''Nadia, perhaps you could tell me and my family about yourself.'' Constantine said.

"Minister Zazamoukh, it is very nice to meet you," Nadia said, "Everything in your nation looks wonderful; I'm sure I will like it here."
She smiled and nodded as she looked at all the things that were shown to her in the palace. The young woman felt a bit nervous as she met the prince, her mouth widening into a smile as she saw him.
"It is nice to meet all of you," Nadia said as she looked at the royal family, "I am humbled that you chose me to court your son."
Nadia said to the pharo as she bowed to everyone;

''Thank you for complimenting Egypt.'' Zazamoukh said nicely to Nadia.

The Pharoah looked at her and said ''I am humbled to meet such a beautiful young woman as yourself.'' Constantine came to Nadia and said ''Nadia, why don't you tell us about yourself. What is Tarayshia like?'' Theodora, the Pharoah's little girl (as Zazamoukh called her) seemed to like Constantine interacting with Nadia. ''Nadia, you may make yourself at home in Egypt. I have a room for you here.'' Constantine told Nadia. The Pharoah sat back down in his throne and watched Constantine and Nadia.

The Pharoah looked at her and said ''I am humbled to meet such a beautiful young woman as yourself.'' Constantine came to Nadia and said ''Nadia, why don't you tell us about yourself. What is Tarayshia like?'' Theodora, the Pharoah's little girl (as Zazamoukh called her) seemed to like Constantine interacting with Nadia. ''Nadia, you may make yourself at home in Egypt. I have a room for you here.'' Constantine told Nadia. The Pharoah sat back down in his throne and watched Constantine and Nadia.[/QUOTE]

"Well," Nadia smiled, "Tarayshia has a lot of beaches and things to do. We have a wonderful queen who truly cares about our people. As for me, I have an older sister named Liah and a younger brother named Danio. What would you like to know? You may ask any questions that you like."

''Tarayshia seems like a nice place.'' Theodora said. ''Who is your Queen, Nadia? I would like to know of the Queen who cares for her people as all Queens and Kings do or at least some do.'' the Pharoah said. ''You have two siblings? I only have one, my sister, Theodora.'' Constantine said. The Pharoah then said ''Nadia, are you hungry? I have planned for a lunch we can all have together.''

"Oh yes," Nadia said, "Thank you, lunch sounds wonderful. My queen's name is Lehana, she is 24 years old and is seeking a husband which is why she did not volunteer to be a bride for your son. Some may call her a strict queen, however I think that she makes decisions based on fairness and what is right. For example, before people may have children, they must take tests to see that they are fit parents."
Nadia turned to Theodora, "So, how old are you? What kind of things do you like to do?"

The Pharoah had Zazamoukh get lunch ready, Zazamoukh said it would be ready in a couple of minutes. Constantine said ''I understand why your Queen did not volunteer, it is because she would be split between her obligations.'' The Pharoah then said ''I may have tests for parenthood here. Child abuse is so saddening to the heart.'' Theodora looked at Nadia and said ''I'm 11 years old (I was thinking of an age, I may change it). I like to do many things. I like to help my father and I like playing with my brother.'' Zazamoukh escorted them all to lunch and said ''For lunch, we are having many foods like Caesar salad, wonton soup, and many other foods. I decided to have international food served.''

"Thank you very much Zazamoukh," Nadia said as she sat down at the table, "All this food looks delicious."
Nadia really liked the family, they were a close family even though they were royals. The queen she knew had a close family until her parents died and the queen's sister had moved away from Tarayshia to be with her husband.
"You all have such a close family," Nadia voiced her thoughts outloud, "It is good to see a family close unlike so many families that are torn apart for one reason or another."

''You are most welcome.'' Zazamoukh said. ''I have always kept the family close, even when my wife passed away. Actually, an assassin killed her. But we held on and we came through and we still have good lives but I miss my wife and they miss their mother.'' the Pharoah said. ''Our family is always close and I hope it stays that way.'' Constantine said. ''Nadia, thanks for complimenting our family.'' Theodora said.

"I'm sorry about your wife Pharoah," Nadia said, "I know that must have been tough to handle. Do you or, did you have any other wives? I ask because I know people such as yourselves have many wives and or mistresses."
That stopped Nadia; for she just realized that she to may be just the first of many women in the prince's life and bed.

''I have never had more than one wife or woman in my life. My wife, the Empress Sophia was my own wife and the only woman too.'' the Pharoah said. ''Nadia, perhaps after lunch, I can show you the city.'' Constantine said. Constantine understood what Nadia had said about wives and mistresses, the Pharoah understood also.

Nadia nodded at the older man, "That's wonderful that you showed such faithfulness towards your wife, when so many of your kind do, or did not."
She turned to the prince, "A tour of the city would be great, I'm sure there is a lot to see."

''Thank you for saying that, Nadia.'' the Pharoah said before Zazamoukh came and whispered some things to the Pharoah. ''Excuse me, Nadia but I must go.'' the Pharoah said, going with Zazamoukh. ''Nadia, you, me and Theodora will go see the city.'' Constantine said. When they went outside, Constantine greeted the soldiers of the Pharonic Guard that would guard him, Nadia and Theodora. Constantine took them to a statue of Isis. ''This is Isis, a figure in Egyptian mythology.'' Constantine said. ''Next, I'll show you some Roman style mosaics.'' he said.

Nadia nodded as the man departed with his minister, then turned her attention back towards the brother and sister.
She walked outside with them, smiling at the guards and listening to the prince as he talked.
"I've heard of Isis, she's some kind of goddess right?"

''Isis is a goddess, I believe. The old Egyptian religion and Coptic Christianity are the main faiths here.'' Constantine said. As they continued, he took them to a mosaic of Osiris. ''Osiris is a figure as well in Egypt.'' Constantine said to Nadia.

"I've never heard of Osiris," Nadia said, "The artwork is very pretty though."

''Osiris is the being of the Dead, I believe. I can't remember some of this stuff.'' Constantine said. ''It is very pretty.'' Theodora said, agreeing with Nadia. Afterwards, Constantine brought Nadia to a man in a shop ''Would you like your name on a cartouche in hieroglyphs?'' Constantine asked Nadia.

"What kind of writing is that?"
Nadia asked as she looked at the cards;

''It's Egyptian Hieroglyphs.'' Constantine said. The man offered to make some for Nadia, Constantine and Theodora had some already.

Nadia smiled, "Thank you very much, the writing looks most unique."

The man smiled and nodded. Constantine then took her through the rest of the city. Afterwards, Constantine took her back to the palace and said ''Would you like me to show you your room? It is a very cozy one.''

''Afterwards, you can change for dinner which will be soon.'' he said.

Constantine showed Nadia her room, a room fit for an Empress, etc. He said ''Dinner will be ready soon.'' before giving her a kiss and leaving to see on dinner.

''Dinner is ready.'' Constantine said, taking her downstairs where the others were. Egyptian food of all kinds were served to her. ''Dig in.'' Constantine said to Nadia.

Nadia smiled as she lifted what looked like a kind of meat from her plate and placed it in her mouth. After chewing and swallowing she said, "This food is very good, can you tell me some about it?"

''It is a mix between Egyptian and International food. We have many good chefs.'' Constantine said.

'I really like it here thus far.' Nadia thought as she ate the food, "Where are your father and sister?"

''We are right here.'' the Pharoah said, eating with Theodora. ''It's good you like it here. Not to be rude or anything but I am growing to like you a lot. You are a beautiful young woman.'' Constantine said.

Nadia blushed, "Oh I'm sorry, I guess I just wasn't paying attention," Nadia laughed.
"I like you to, we had a nice time today," Nadia said.

''We all have that some times.'' the Pharoah said. ''Thank you for saying that.'' Constantine said.

OOC-Now we skip ahead.

One or two months later....

''How are you doing, Nadia? I expect you like it here in Egypt.'' Constantine said while taking Theodora to school.

Nadia couldn't believe it, she had been here for 2 months and loved it in Egypt.
"I'm doing well," Nadia said as she turned towards her boyfriend's sister, "Do you like school? Or, do you find it boring?"

''That's good.'' Constantine said. Theodora was in her school uniform and she replied ''I like it at school although it does get boring at some times like when the teachers keep talking and talking.''

''Want to come with me as I take my sister to school?'' Constantine asked.

''That's good.'' Constantine said. was in her school uniform and she replied ''I like it at school although it does get boring at some times like when the teachers keep talking and talking.''

Nadia turned towards Theodora, "I know what you mean; I always hated that, but the trips and activities and stuff were really fun."
Nadia smiled at Constantine, "I'd love to go and drop your sister off. What would you like to do afterwords?"

''The trips are fun. At the year end, I get to see the Great Pyramids!'' Theodora said happily. Constantine nodded and took the two to Theodora's school, it was an all-girls school. Theodora embraced Constantine and Nadia and went to play with her friends. ''Nadia, perhaps you would like to go for a walk around the town? Perhaps you want to see a Coptic Christian service?'' Constantine said.

"Have a good day," Nadia said as she waved and watched her run off, "She's a great sister."
"Sure," Nadia said, "What kind of service is that? I'd like to go see one, your country has so much culture, I like being here. I like being with you as well."

''Theodora is a great sister indeed. She and I have much fun together, I help her with her studies and we play together. I hope she has a good life.'' Constantine said. ''The Coptic service is of the Coptic Christians which along with the Old Faith, is the state religion.'' he said as they walked. ''Egypt has a lot of culture indeed.'' Constantine said.

When they got to the cathedral, Constantine said ''This is a Coptic church.'' A priest came and greeted them, Constantine greeted him. He got Nadia and himself a pew and then said ''The services are liturgical, different from the Eastern Orthodox and Catholics. Coptics along with the Armenians and Ethiopians are of the Oriental Orthodox.''

During the service, Constantine said ''My family is Coptic Christian, I will go up to recieve the Bread and Wine. I think you can get a blessing.'' The Pharoahs of Egypt were usually Coptic or Old Religion.

Nadia sat down in the church, folding her hands as she sat through the service. Nadia honestly felt a bit uncomfortable, not understanding all that was happening. When the church service was over, Nadia sighed and leaned back.
"That was very interesting," Nadia said, "I haven't ever seen something like that, I have no religion of my own however I am interested in this."

''I respect you. If you don't have a religion, you don't need to, I suppose. I respect you regardless.'' Constantine said. During the service, Constantine explained the entire service to Nadia, like the art or the priest's actions. Afterwards, Constantine said ''If you would like some basic info on the Coptic Church, I suggest talking to the priest.'' as he pointed to the priest fixing things up.

''What would you like to do afterwards?'' Constantine asked.

Nadia smiled, "I'm not sure, what do you think Constantine? I guess I could go talk to the priest..."

''You can talk to the priest later, with all due respect to the clergy.'' Constantine said. ''I have an idea.'' he said, taking Nadia to the city. ''Nadia, would you like to see the markets? A tour of the city?'' Constantine inquired.

Although Nadia had been in Egypt for two months, she knew she hadn't seen everything in the great city.
"Sure," she said, "I'd like a walk in the city."
She held the prince's hand as they walked;

Constantine held her hand and smiled as they walked. He showed her the markets and other parts of this city. ''Nadia, I don't know how to say this but I seem to love you.'' he said, hoping he did not just mess things up.

Nadia thought it strange that he would declare his love for in a public place but she replied, "I care for you deeply."
She squeezed his hand as they continued walking, the young woman enjoying the sights, smells and sounds of the lovely country.

OOC-I replied to your telegram. Perhaps he'll propose in the next post or something.

''I care for you deeply as well.'' Constantine said, holding her close as he explained things. He brought her to the site of the Virgin's Appiritions and he explained some Coptic art as they went through a Museum of Coptic Christianity. Afterwards, they went to Theodora's school, where they picked her up. ''Hello, Constantine. Hello, Nadia.'' Theodora said, greeting them.

Nadia smiled as she saw Constantine's sister, "Hello Theodora, how was school?"
She then turned towards Constantine, "Will we be having dinner with your father? Also Theodora if you would like help with your homework I really wouldn't mind helping."

''It was good, we learned about the Ghassanids and other things. Also, I have a field trip coming up.'' Theodora said. ''You could help me with my homework? That would be super! I hope you know about the things I learn.'' Theodora stated.

''My father will not be at dinner, I'm afraid. He is currently out of the city on some things. He will be back in later time.'' Constantine said.

When they got home, Constantine said ''I'll cook dinner for you two ladies. Why don't you two relax for a while.''

Theodora took out her things and said ''Nadia, I am doing Henry the Eighth and other things at school. I have homework on them. Just to make sure, how many wives did Henry have before he beheaded them?''

Nadia thanked him for saying that he would cook dinner. After he left she answered Theodora's question, "I believe he had 5 wives, but 4 of them he beheaded."

''No problem.'' Constantine said. ''Thanks, Nadia. You are a nice person.'' Theodora said, writing it down. ''Nadia, what's Tarayshia like? Also, I heard your Queen found a husband. That's sweet.'' Theodora said.

When dinner was ready, Constantine served Egyptian foods with those of Tarayshia, to make Nadia feel at home.

"Yes," Nadia said, "My queen Lehana is getting married next week I think. I'd like to go home and see it, but I'd hate to leave you guys. Thanks for making some of the food from Tarayshia, I guess you found my cook book of Tarayshia recepies."
Nadia said as she laughed;

''It's nice she's getting married. I hope to do so one day.'' Theodora said. The dining room was marked with an Orthodox icon, Constantine admired art.

''Tarayshian food tastes great!'' Theodora said as she ate. ''I concur.'' Constantine said.

''No problem. I want you to feel at home.'' Constantine said.

After dinner, he came to her and said ''Nadia, for 2 months and more have we been together. I don't know if I should right now but I ask you, will you, the Lady of Tarayshia, marry me, the Prince of Egypt, in front of the Icon of the Virgin Mary?'' Theodora was amazed, her brother getting married.

Nadia was a bit amazed that he preposed in front of Theodora but she smiled and replied, "Yes, I would be honored to marry you."
She then stood and gave him a huge hug, "I'd love to become your wife."
She turned to Theodora and smiled, "And, become like a sister to you."

Constantine placed a ring on Nadia's hand and said ''It would be an honor to be your husband.'' Theodora replied ''I would be glad to have you as a mother and like a sister.''

Constantine then looked at the Icon of the Theotokos before saying ''I think we could have the wedding in your nation, though I would want a Coptic clergyman or some to bless the marriage.'' Constantine said. ''A trip to Tarayshia? That would be great!'' Theodora said.

Meanwhile,
The Pharoah and Minister Zazamoukh were working when news of the engagement came. ''I knew they would get along.'' the Pharoah said. ''Nadia, my father says he will be back in time for the wedding.'' Constantine said. Theodora embraced Nadia and seemed to jump around, happy of the marriage.

(OOC: Actually, he would've placed the ring on her hand and would've said he'd be honored to be her husband, not wife..Nadia's his wife, he's her husband)

"Well," Nadia thought about having the wedding in Tarayshia, "I don't know, my queen Lehana is getting married, and I'm not very important in the country. It would be better to marry in your nation, after all this is your nation and your people would love to see you wed."

OOC-Sorry for that. My mistake.

IC-''You are important to me though, Nadia.'' Constantine said. ''We will have it soon.'' he said. ''Congratulations and God bless to Lehana's marriage.'' Constantine said. ''That's sweet! Two weddings!'' Theodora said.

A couple of weeks later.....

Constantine was ready for the wedding at the Coptic Church. Theodora, dressed in a Imperial dress, came to Nadia and said ''Nadia, are you ready? Constantine is waiting for you.''

The Coptic church was all ready for the wedding, the priests were rehearsing themselves for the wedding.

"You look great Theodora," Nadia commented on her dress.
Nadia wore a simple silk white wedding gown that went down to the floor. A white vale covered her head and her face somewhat. Her hair was pinned up on top of her head.

''You do too, Nadia.'' Theodora said before leading Nadia to the wedding. A Coptic priest, dressed in vestments was standing with Constantine who was dressed in Pharonic attire.

The Pharoah was dressed in Imperial attire and he smiled as Nadia came in.

The Coptic priest announced ''In the eyes of God the Father, marriage is something special. It is when as Christ said ''two become one.'' In this wedding, Constantine shall become one with Nadia. I wish the peace of the Holy Trinity be with them always.''

Constantine took Nadia's hand and the priest read some lines from a book. ''Do you, Constantine, son of the Pharoah take Nadia of Tarayshia to be your wife, to cherish and to hold, to love and to respect, till the Father calls you home to Him?'' Constantine smiled and said ''I do.''

Then the priest said ''Nadia, do you take Constantine as your husband, to cherish and to hold, to love and to respect, till the Judgement Day comes?''

Everyone waited to hear Nadia's response to the priest.

She took a deep breath as she looked around the church and said, "I do."

The priest nodded and said ''Under the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I hereby ask the Trinitarian blessings to be upon this marriage of Constantine and Nadia. May they keep their vows with the Three as witnesses and may be in Heaven for Eternity with Christ and all the Saints, Prophets, Apostles and Martyrs at the Day of Judgment.''

''I hereby pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.''

Constantine held Nadia and gave her a kiss and then they went off. It was the Pharoah who catched the flowers Nadia threw.
