In 2006, Emperor Chrisoph Baker decided it was time to expand his empire past its present borders. In Irathria, he discovered a small, uninhabited island in the frozen north which could be utilized as a Military outpost for his growing military. On April 15th, 2006, his Imperial Wanderjarian Army seized the small island, and began construction of outposts, and moving colonists onto the island for inhabitation. There were only a few thousand previous inhabitants due to the harsh climate, and they posed little resistance to the much larger and advanced Wanderjarian forces. The Dominion of Wanderjar's government named the newly constructed captial city, or more realistically, town, Neila, after the military commander who took over the island. The Island itself was named Tundria, after its cold, dry climate
