IC: Arite's 'Digital Web' Released

A strange headset system has been released, giving the user a full 3-d world to play in from any computer in the world through an internet line. The 'Digital Web' is essentially a new internet in which people are allowed to wear what they want and look as they wish with full chatrooms and video games and massive areas that allow people to walk around and view shops and businesses in a night atmosphere, or choose the high-tech approach and warp and appear in new areas as freely as they wish. The world is expansive and vast, and so does the methods and ways of people to express themselves in less then legal means in this new version of the internet. It is very appealing to the senses with both voice and 3-d worlds to explore.

Arite is giving out free systems to all who are interested, why they do this is unknown, but it is vastly popular for a new system and they are soon going to charge for the headsets it seems. To access the digital web you need to create a profile and an avatar (character) and then you are able to explore the world!

If you go to the OOC thread you can make a character and play in the all the threads marked (DW) with it permenantly.

like could you make a version that nobody but my forces can access? with no cheat codes so it will be fair. i mean a big ass system to help my forces train for combat. this way the can face each other without the cost of moving all the equipment to the area we would have a war game we just go into the game.

Its alright, but this is like the internet 2.0. Its 3-d and they have masters on it. The technocratic union. You wouldn't be able to do military excerises in this cause it is only controls not the actual body moving so it wouldn't be a proper test of function or abilities.

We would like a system, but we would like to inspect it before use. We are going to look for hypnotic programming, mind control software, subliminal advertising and other paranoid things before we use it. Also we would like to check for bugs, viruses, and other invasive programming before use.
