A Strange Sort of Meeting (FT, Open; Diplomacy)
Chronosia

The Chronosians were not exactly reknowned for their hospitality. More recognised for a frightening and terrible grasp of the arts of war and manipulation; born of a curious relationship of high technology, venerated almost as holy, and the praise to the Gods of Chaos; their decadant barbarism and civilised slaughter were heard of far and wide. How strange then it must seem when the Imperium issues forth a message; that its borders shall be open to guests and visitors; that all who come shall recieve hospitality; and engage in a diplomatic convention; by which the Imperium might extend its hand to other nations now that it dwells outwith the Empire.
Brothers, children of countless worlds and stars; I invite you to drink in my hospitality and accept my invitation. We of the Imperium are not all we have been made out to be; not daemons, not senseless murderers. No; we possess culture and sophistication beyond many who would so unjustly damn us. We invite any who would know more of us, in history and in friendship; to announce themselves, pending announcement of a venue itself. However, it will more than likely take place upon a specially converted Ramilles Star Fort. In attendance shall be myself; Remiel De Drakan as well as lead diplomat and favored servant, Lady Elsabet Prestor. We hope that many will accept our gentile offer; and look forward to seeing those who come forth.
Don't be shy now.

"Curious," began Julian. It was eight in the morning, and he was in one of his advisory sessions with Sallustius, Caesarius slept against the far wall on a chair, "The Chronosians, hosting a galla. I hope you will make preparations for my arrival at this meeting, Sallustius?"
The grim military man replied in his usual monotone voice, "It will be done."
The message was sent shortly after, and Julian dozed off into one of his three hour naps.

The Taledonian presence forced the Kazecis into an odd situation. They would have to impersonate themselves, or what the Taledonians thought they should be. They arrived in the ever so small, yet still jump capable, bullet transport, rather than any larger craft as that was all they 'should' have access to.

"It seems the Chronos are hosting a diplo event."
"Curious and Curiouse. They aren't know for doing such things."
"No they aren't, will be interesting to know what they plan, and the best way to do that is in person. Send a message that we will be sending a delegate."
To: Chronosia
We wish to send a diplomate to your gala and would like to know when and where to arrive. It wouldn't do after all to see out for the station and wonder into a top secret area.

"This is a chance. Send a diplomatic frigate. See to it that it makes it to Chronosia. See what you can do".
Magnius finished speaking, his voice lilting strangely. Perhaps it was the side-effects of nanobot withdrawal, if there was such a thing.
The man on the viewscreen saluted him, as his ship faded into blue mist. The newest Truespace engine, one thought to be undetectable by the Interdictor. Hopefully, the research was effective, or he'd never make it to Chronosia..
The New Realm is sending a representative to your meeting. May the gods of Chaos bless your path
It was a strange thanks, yet it had been determined to be the most.. diplomatic, by the diplomat sent. Of course, the man also believed in the Chaos gods, although he didn't worship them, he did believe in them, and respected them, in his own, slightly twisted way...
Tarayshia

It was late in the evening when an advisor of the queen of Tarayshia had gotten the message from the nation. The advisor had shown her queen the message, and the queen accepted the invitation.
"Please tell them that I wish to go," Lehana said, "However, that I can not go because of my seeking a suitor in my nation. I will send one of my advisors, inquire if that would be acceptable."
"Yes your majesty," the advisor replied as she set about to write the message.
Hello,
The nation of Tarayshia thanks you for your message. I regret to inform you that due to our queen seeking a suitor here in her nation, that she may not be able to attend your party. Would an advisor of our nation of Tarayshia be acceptable?
I thank you for your reply,
Advisor Halaya Martas
"What's a Chronosian?" Asked Grand Sorceress Marill of Lady Ri-an.
"Obviously, a race of people in the Milky way. Send Captian Biran and The mothership." She said.
So it was, that a Giant Cliche looking UFO mothership came out of the Milky Way - Andromedan Wormhole.
It was massive, and would of Qualified as dangerous if it was actually armed with something more than a laser to smash asteroids with.
It made its way Towards Chronosia.
________________________________________________________________
A message came from the Mothership.
"I, Captian Biran will attend this meeting. I come in a large round ship, and despite its size, is quite peaceful. We come in peace, and are always intrested in learning of our neighbors."

The seal of Chronosia was one of the single most powerful images within the Inferno. It could get any message on the fast-track to command, any transmission to a person directly. And it was so that exactly twenty minutes after reception of the message, a response was sent.
Well brothers, this is certainly interesting. The Inferno chooses to answer. No Endorse wishes to be allowed to send a delegate. John Archer will be coming if possible, he will suffer no others to go in his stead.
We anticipate this event will be very intriguing, and quite productive.

SIC: Metamoor - Phobos's Dark Citadel
Phobos smiled wickedly as he read the Chronosian message.
He looked down at those he had summoned and who were now standing in front of the base of his throne tower and asked, "What do we about these Chronosians?"
"Your highness," replied a dark robed figure, "we don't have much in the databanks and records other than second hand knowledge. Though we do know that SeaQuest tends to be watchful around them."
"That's interesting," replied a blue skinned being, "perhaps we can enlist these Chronosians to aid in our battles."
Everyone glared at him.
"Its just a suggestion," he whimpered.
Two guards came up, took him by the shoulders, and dragged him to the dungeons where he would spend a week thinking about the error of his ways. Shadow SeaQuest doesn't ask for help. It was considered a sign of weakness.
"Now," asked Phobos, "anyone have anything to add?"
"Only this, your highness," said a tall, gray-skinned bald woman, "if you take the nation's name, Chronosia, the root word, 'Chrono', translates to time. Only an observation, my lord."
Phobos nodded in recognition of the being's observation.
"Then," he inquired, "would it be wise to send someone to this meeting?"
"I would say yes, your highness," she replied, "though I would recommend against going yourself as it could be dangerous. It would be wise to go through proxy."
"Who do you suggest we send?"
"Lady Wuya (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b91/SeaQuest_Sim/Character%20Pics/DaysPast_Wuya.jpg) has yet to fully proove herself. Send her with someone we know we can trust to keep an eye on her, your highness, and we will see how she handles herself."
"Agreed. She and Lord Cedric (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/The_Illuminati_Orb/Character%20Pics/cedric.jpg) will depart aboard Cedric's Al'Kesh, the Death For Breakfast as soon as possible."
"As you wish."
Phobos leaned back so that his face was hidden in shadows.
"Dismissed," he growled.
Everyone nodded and left through the massive double doors of the throne room. Once he was alone, Phobos pondered the message he would send letting them know his representatives would be arriving.
Messages
Transmitted through several relays from Prince Phobos (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/The_Illuminati_Orb/Character%20Pics/phobos.jpg) to the Chronosians:
While I am unable to attend myself, I will be sending two representatives to this meeting of yours. Do note, I expect them back alive and relatively unharmed.
Signed,
Prince Phobos
Dark Ruler Of Shadow SeaQuest
Fluid Time later...
Lord Cedric's Al'Kesh dissapeared into a Hyperspace Window en route for the Chronosian conference. They would stop outside known Chronosian space and let them know that Phobos's representatives had arrived.

All who wish to attend shall be welcomed by the Imperium as friends and brothers. As best as we can we shall cater to your needs and wishes. Attached are the coordinates of the Star Fort. We would request that if you attend in a larger vessel; that you simple idle nearby and attend by shuttle. If your vessel is smaller; we shall be happy to teleport you. Remiel smirked softly as he composed the message; thinking for a moment.
We truly wish to see all who have requested places in attendance; and extend our warmest greetings. We can, of course, guarantee the safety of your delegates. They stand upon my soil; they shall be protected by my will and my blessing. I simply ask that you respect us, not fall prey to petty fears or hates
It hung like an immense monolith in the void; it's metallic flesh aching carved with runes and sigils, blazing symbols of the Chaos gods that seared the eyes and the mind with knowledge unknowable; unfathomable. This had once been a vessel of the Imperium; the Old Imperium that venerated the eternal Emperor; now it was a bastion of glorious chaos.
Within it's depths, a vast banquet hall was prepared; and Remiel sat at the head of the table, upon a great throne of basalt and bone; studded with gems, inlaid with precious metals; he tapped the armrests lightly, formed of human and alien skulls; the trophies of Khorne collected against every race they had yet fought; a thoughtful gift from his Khornate siblings.
"Inform me when the first delegates arrive."
Riiss'Sslash ("Ancient Creche") starsystem
The others 'speaking' had been detected by a "watcher of the void", its spoor readily detectable and in the open. The "other" (alien) had sent its "farspeak" through the 'vastness/endless'. At least six and four heavily populated Sskiss creche of worlds had detected it almost simultaneously. The 'others' had assumed the posture of "respect/non-attack/non-hostility....
This eased the collective Sskiss's overdevelped sense of territoriality. The 'others' message/way of speaking needed to be analysed/disected/need of knowing. Within six rotation cycles of their twin crecheworlds, several Sskiss "seakers of knowledge of others speaking" had deciphered the "others" farspeak.....
At any rate all creche of worlds were ordered/dictated by the great Tyrant/Ruler of all Sskiss to be on "hunters alertness/readyness to protect the all 'creche of worlds' if needed.
A return message was sent, which simply said;
"We greet you assuming the posture of non-attack/neutrality. Specify purpose of communication with our greater creche/desirous of speaking/understanding."
"We/Sskiss are different in being/existance. Cannot feed with you, live/inhabite the same territory as you -- you spoor is different. Sskiss can only live with Sskiss. Require own territory/dwellings to inhabite and erecting of 'force impervious/useen' [forcefield?] between all others and Sskiss. We will bring all red food/flesh that sustains. Signify acceptance/understanding."
Note: The term "others" is a generic Sskiss term which when translated means, roughly "alien".

The United States, having heard your message, will delightfully send a delegate to conduct affairs of a foreign nature with your nation and other nations in attendance, Is there any limit on ships that we should be aware of or any special rules that need apply?
Thank you sincerely:

The Ri-an Mothership made its way towards the coordinates. It made its way towards the base, and, as requested, idled nearby, while a small one man shuttle went to the base.

To the Fedral Union; the reply was thus;
Only one ship may attend; all weapons must be powered down and no hostile action must take place. Should any hostility be observed; your delegate shall be summarily executed and your vessel destroyed. A state of war shall exist between the Imperium and her aggressors. We shall tolerate no insult.
To the Sskiss;
We desire non-aggression between our kinds. We accept that you are other; yet we wish to co-exist; not in the same space or upon the same worlds but in the same plane, the same universe; Existing together, unified for a common future. Together we are the stronger than all others. Simply attend; present yourselves, and we shall have discussion
To those seeking permission to dock;
Docking bays have been set aside for your vessels; please dock at your leisure. Be aware, you shall be autonomously guided towards the docking platforms; and shall be greeted by Military Guard.
"I understand." Biran replied.
He docked, and greeted the Guards outside.
"Greetings, I am Captian Biran, Diplomat of Ri-an." He said.

Turel; currently serving as Captain of the guard at this occasion bowed lightly; his armor was black and red, white and gold; adorned in finery; he seemed to embody all the decadant pleasure of a servant of Slaanesh. He sighed softly, brushing a gauntleted hand across the silks of his cloak; silks meshed with flesh.
"My Lord, the Emperor Remiel awaits your presence in the main dining hall. I am Turel; Lord Commander of the First Company."
Captain Biran nodded. Ordinarily a military man, on this occasion, he wore a common business suit.
"It is a pleasure to make your aquaintence. At home I serve a similar function, though not in as fine a suit of armor as you presently have, I admit. Shall we go greet Emperor Remiel then? I would hate to keep him waiting, it might be thought of as Rude, and I certainly do not wish to be Rude." Biran said.
OOC: RL calls me away. Work and all that jazz.
The Viper, the chosen vessel for this gala, flickered into Chronosian space. It's drives kicking it, it lanced forward, on a near collision course to the massive citidel, before preforming an EOE manuver to come to a park a scant distance from the fortress.
Requesting a docking bay for representative.

"Of course. You shall be escorted directly to him." Turel smiled lightly, gesturing. The armored Space Marines; Chaos Space Marines; moved to escort him to the room that would serve as centrepoint for the festivities. The announcement went out to the new vessel that docking bay threee was ready for their arrival; one by one; each delegate was to be welcomed and escorted.
And then the festivities could begin.

The USS Kingston was slowly gliding towards nothingness, its form shivering as it moved quickly, the engines of the ships completely engulfed the back of it with light.
On board the ship was team of delegates, and the president himself bester kayborn and tom Madison.
The Ship slowly came to a sudden stop.
The commander on board the bridge of the ship looked around a little bit and said “Helm engage Jump Drive...“
The helms officer acknowledged the command quickly taping on a holographic console over looking the large open area of the bridge.
The ship began to rumble and noise reverberated throughout the body and hull of the ship.
Officers and other personnel stood still for a second, as the outside of the entire ship began to glow, a huge spear of blue black and green energy engulfed the ship, nano seconds later it was gone, seemingly vanishing…
Several moments passed the ship was in now in 2D time space, the glorious array of colors flew passed the ship as it entered a cylindrical stream of time/ space and vibrating membranes.
A few moments later the large vessel flew out of this fantastic array of chaotic color, space simply spit out the ship with very little disturbance, minuscule amounts of light and color exited as the ship came to a stop several thousand kilometers from the station.
A message was sent out Via 2D Communication:
This is the USS Kingston, we have arrived to transport our delegates, if you wish we may beam them aboard, or dock, however before we do we would like authorization.
The 1.2 Km ship ominously floated, its huge guns and missile launchers and other weapons all powered down, but still there as a warning. The huge FDF emblem and eagle was well lighten by the star light and the hull lighting of the ship, the motto “Ad lucem” (that means Towards the light for any one who would not know) could also be clearly seen, as it floated in place awaiting a message.

A single "Eating of Victory" Class Battleship (which resembled a mass of claw like structures sprouting out from a central pod had entered the Chronosian system slightly to the north of the systems stellar plane. "We are the Sskiss. Permission to enter territory/We approach in the posture of mutual respect/non-hostility. One podship containing three speaker to others will arrive to greet you."
"Signify understanding/Respond"....
----------------------------------------------------
The three Sskiss "speaker to others" [diplomats] had arrive somwhat later for the "gathering of the others". The Sskiss, a rather temporally indifferent species generally did not like being rushed (unless forced by Sskiss of greater dominence) and as a result, took there time doing just about anything -- well almost anything....In truth they ate whatever they could get there teeth into rather quicky. As typical of the Sskiss, the three formed an ancient wedge shaped formation -- a remnent of their ancient past as social pack hunters. The most dominent of the three took the center front and lower ranking toward the rear speading out in a vague "V" shaped pattern. The Sskiss compound - chambers and corridors all, had been constructed to appropriate Sskiss dimentions and habits -- a few interconnected chambers and winding passageways stuffed with bladders of preserved meats held in large egg shaped organic food starge pods.
Once within the huge alien blocky structure. The Sskiss delegate moved in a steady heavy tread, the talons of their three toed feet clicked lightly on the floor as they aproached what appeared to be a solid wall, but suddenly formed an oval oppening to allow entry into the vast diplomatic chambers ("chambers where weighty issued are discussed") as the Sskiss often called it. Kraal'Traak was not looking forward to these lengthy meetings, although in his ancient reptilian mind, he consoled himself that he and the rest of his delegate had eaten well before this gathering.
While he and the rest of his delegate entered the main chamber, an unmistakable hum could be heard - a Sskiss proof force field was always erected for such meetings. Indeed, it was specifically recommended by his own people as a necessary precaution before their arrival. However, it only reminded him that his species (even when well fed) could never be fully be trusted at any large gatherings with other races.....
Automated instinct, blind unthinking instinct, reactive instinct, eons old, occured amoung each of the Sskiss delegates upon seeing the 'other' for the first time - all three Sskiss delegates flared their nostiles to smell any scent, any oder in the air - the scent of prey.....
The three Sskiss delegates ('Speaker to others') are as follows;
Kraal'Trakk: Age 51. Male. The leader of the three is a a huge massively proportioned middle aged Tyrannosaur form some 13 meters in length and half that in height and massing in at 6.4 metric tons. Body is mainly a dark russet colouring broken by dark vertical bands orginating from the spine and gradually fading into the lower flank. Tail is more clearly banded. The head is slighly more reddish in colour with bright red patch of skin that adorns either side of his snout. Large yellow teeth and dull black talons. Smells (as usual) of carrion. A skilled diplomat (That is skilled by Sskiss standards which probably means he's about average for most other races). However, Kraal'Traak is wise, calm and patient. Had been dictated/ordered to fulfill this task for the "glory of the multitudes/race" by Isss'Raak - Tyrant/Ruler of all Sskiss.
Kiii'Ruup: Age 35. Female. A rather large heavy set Neoceratosaur (Carnotaurus) form approaching middle age. Kiii'Ruup is 9 meters long and half that in height and weighs in 1.6 metric tons. Body is a faded drab uniform green. The neck, back, flanks and tail are studded with bony growths in rosete patterns. The short deep head possess two flat bony hornlike growths just above the eyes. Kiii'Ruup is maily tasked with recording events. Note: Kiii'Ruup is currently in heat which means she may have some difficulty in focusing on her tasks.
Koo'Kooo: Age 26. Female. A muscular medium sized Dromeaosaur (Utahraptor) form with a keen intellect and boundless curiousity although somewhat erratic. At a mere 6 meters in length and 2.6 meters in height she is by far the smallest of the three. She weighs in at approximatly 890kg. Koo'Kooo's main body, the base of her tail and upper legs and arms are covered in a drab brown feathered plumage. The rest of her body is a washed out tawny colour. Koo'Kooo appears to be constantly 'grinning' because her upper rows of her serrated curved teeth can clearly be seen. Her huge black talons appear disproportionatly large as in all her species. She moves in quick, almost jerky precise movements and has the look like she knows what you are thinking -- very disturbing. She is tasked with 'observation of others'. Koo'Kooo may be seen on occasion to be sniffing the underside of Kiii'Ruup's tail.
Other Important Notes: The three Sskiss delegates will all smell of various pungent oders (if forcefield is let down, which is not too likely), and perhaps carrion as well.

The Death For Breakfast silently and regally set down in the indicated Chronosian hanger. As soon as it was safe, a hatch opened and a ramp lowered down in a mist of fog billowing from inside the ship.
What could be seen inside the ship would give many people chills. On a table next to the far wall of the corrider at the top of the ramp was a blood red candle sitting in a holder made from a human skull. Wall hangings with archaic symbols were visible on each side of the table. The inside of the ship seemed to ooze with darkness. It was obviously not decorated in the standard Goa'uld decor.
Cedric strode down the ramp with Wuya a few steps behind him. Once at the bottom of the ramp, without stepping off it, Cedric looked around for the one who would be greeting them. His robes, an emerald green in color, very similar to his peircing eyes, with black and red trimmings, swished about him as he stopped.

Perhaps you would be best to visit Lord Cabot; who sits upon a throne of skulls, surrounded by fountains of blood and spinning instruments of torture; he who stands like the Blood God Khorne Himself!" Turel chuckles, refusing to bow, not willing to humble himself. "My Lord awaits your presence in the main hall; my guard shall escort you." He turned and left the Shadow delegates in the more than capable hands of his men.
A message scythed out across the void to the fedral vessel; You have permission to beam aboard; we have earmarked the area for you to appear in; which is the main dining hall. Therein, our lord shall meet you.
The Sskiss were met by Turel on his way from the Shadow vessel; bowing lightly, he began to speak, his voice echoing about them as he indicated with his hands. Through the corridors of the Star fort, the Marines led the delegates; pausing at either side of the door, letting it slide open, as they gestured for them to enter. Upon his vasty throne, Remiel sat, raising a glass; fingers entwined about the stem, the green liquid in it shimmering and glistening in the pale, almost sickly light that seemed to permeat the room, before he drank it swiftly, sighing as he imbibed it.
"Ah, sweet pleasures. So fleeting; are they not? Welcome. I greet you in the name of the Imperium; I, as you may have guessed, am Remiel. It is good to see that you have come this far to answer my call; I would ask your names, your origin and your intent. Simply as a matter of courtesy"

Quickly but surely the team of delegates made there way to the large transporter room of the ship.
A few nano seconds passed, the controller AI had started the teleporter, the team of five people along with 4 Secret service agents disappeared in a flash of blue glorious light.
The area designated for exit transport was lighten up an instant later as 9 bolts of light beam in to the dining hall the area was engulfed in blue white light as the forms of humans shivered in to existence, the light dissipated slowly, left standing were 9 Humans, The President Looked around his black suit glimmering in the dissipating light as his grayish tie and white under shirt could be seen from the front of him. His black hair, brown eyes and rather silky smooth white skin were amplified by the light.
He stood there looking at bester and said “Well now we play the waiting game..”
Another delegate who was older and had black skin sighed and said “It seems to me like this might not be the best time to bring up border arms reduction.”
Bester responded to the president and said “Well sir, its obvious that this would happen, and actually this is a good time to discuss arms reduction on the border, since they have other nations watching..”

A frigate screamed through Hyper, leaving a massive wake behind it. One of the most unique energy wakes in the galaxy, the Chronosians would know of its approach long before it neared the station.
The craft tore into realspace, hyperspace energies flowing off of its surfaces like streamers into the void. It held the flame of the Inferno Navy and the High Crest of No Endorse high on its flank, emblems that could never be mistaken for anything else.
Frigate NES Warsaw to Chronosian Star Fort, requesting permission to land and deliver diplomat, over.
The ship drifted towards the fort, powering down all offensive weaponry.

"Halaya," the queen spoke, "You may go to this gala; I do not think his majesty would mind."
"Yes your majesty," Halaya replied as she left her queen in order to get ready.
Two hours later, Halaya was packed and on her way to this new country. The ship was a simple one, far less fancy than the other ships that were going to be there Halaya thought, however kept it to herself. When she neared the sight she clicked on the radio in order for the captain of the ship to speak.
"Hello, this is Captain David Conner," the man began, "We request to land with the diplamat of the nation of Tarayshia, advisor Halaya Martaz. May we dock our ship?"
Biran waited quietly. That's the way he was, quiet, not loud, or boisterous. He learned more by watching and listening.

Space itself seemed to scream in agony as a massive ship sliced through the walls between planes. It's sleek black hull was covered in pulsing red sections, like the beating of a mechanical heart. Sharp, curved spires slid fluidly and organicly back against the hull of the ship, as three brightly pulsing red spheres died down into the same cold ebony color as the rest of the hull.
It had been long since the terrifying destructive force that was a Neo-Mekantan Coreship had been seen, far too long as there would be those who knew not the fear such power should invoke in the lesser species. These creatures were all pathetic, and yet...
"<Dejump conclusion. Confirmation yes.>" The cool omnivoice of the ship filled the massive warship, speaking in a thousand voices save in the command core of the ship, where but a single voice rang out. "<Avatar of Goddess Stable. Contact confirmation?>"
"<Confirmation yes.>" The ebon eyes of the Overlord in command of the ship matched the hull perfectly, marking him as a member of the Hand of Mekanta, one of the most powerful Psionists in the Neo-Mekantan Hegemony. With a single mental command, the command core flared into an inter-connected pattern of crimson lights, pulsing with the heartbeat of the ship.
ATTENTION!! We, the Neo-Mekantan Hegemony, have arrived. With us is the Goddess All-Consuming, Minagoroshi. Lest you seek death, keep your distance from our Coreship... Waiting on Chronosian confirmation to begin translocation.
OOC: You don't know me, I believe, but I remember you. Its a pleasure to know the one nation I've always feared still exists.

The Great Hall of the Star Fortress:
As various dignitaries of several interstellar powers gathered in the Great Hall, their voices merged together into a hodge-podge of dialects and languages. There were a dozen carefully guarded conversations going on, along with carefully calculated gestures and other subtle body languages.
Near the center of a wall, but away from anyone, an aperture suddenly appeared. The circular gateway tore itself open, rending reality and causing the air in the room to whorl around. Through the tear, angry red clouds and vortices of Hyperspace could be seen as crimson energy discharges jumped about wildly. Errant energies reached out and left blackened scars upon the floor and ceiling.
A silhouette appeared in the opening and a figure stepped out, framed by the blood red light spilling through the vortice. The roar and the light suddenly winked out of existence, leaving the room enshrouded in a deafening silence. A low whisper like voice could be easily heard through out the room.
“Please inform Lord Remmel that I have arrived.”

All the vessels that currently surrounded the Star Fort were invited to dock, or translocate; or teleport; or whatever method they wished to enter the ship. Remiel grew impatient, and, as such, had decided merely to gather them all in the main meeting hall. He smiled softly, as one by one; by any number of different ways, they arrived; fading into the material plane, or being escorted to the room by his guards.
When all had finally assembled, he spoke to those who had come to the Imperium, seeking diplomacy; seeking to know more of them.
"I bid each and everyone of you welcome to the Imperium. I am doubtless that you have all travelled far to reach this point; and I offer now the hospitality of all Chronosia. By the Gods; and by the glorious ways of Slaanesh, I bless you and welcome you. I am Remiel De Drakan; Emperor. And this-" He gestured to the shadows. "Is my consort; Lady Elsabet Prestor."
The raven haired siren slipped softly from the umbral folds of the shadow, smirking almost impishly, mewling lightly as she gazed out, beholding all those who attended. A satisfied smile spread across her red lips, a flash of whire teeth seeming only to emphasise her pale, flawless skin. Her black armor hugged her flesh, and she held a black aura of robes that fluttered about her, shrouding her form, save where she wished it to.
"Welcome, friends, diplomats..." She whispered, a hiss that seemed everywhere at once, dancing about them, an alluring clarion call from this daughter of Slaanesh
"It is always a pleasure to meet someone new," Biran said while bowing partially.

President bastidas stood there, looking around the room, looking at other delegates , he looked down quickly to his own suit and began to dust it off, the other people on his team began to scatter, Rob was surrounded by 3 Secret service agents, packing only Rail pistols.
His eyes panned the other delegates looking around waiting for one of them to come up to him for a chat, He would hope he wouldn’t have to go starting conversations rudely, he stood around looking not obviously but noticeably, he looked back to one of his secret service agents and said whispering “Well this is a lively crowd”
Jyan nodded slightly as the Chronosians welcomed the various delegates, himself included. The concept of gods, especially in the 'living' sense that Remiel seemed to imply was humourous to him, but he respected the idios of a given nation.
Looking over the assembled, he wondered where the refreshments were.

Roger stood off to one side, the vision of perfection no different from that of his youth. Nearly two meters tall, and with flowing blonde hair reaching down his back in a ponytail, as mucular as any non-modified human could be, he was an impressive figure, and many women would have simply thrown themselves at him in hopes of getting his attention. The very figure of a blonde haired blue eyed demigod. And debatably mad. This would be most entertaining.

"Good evening your majesties," Halaya said as her and David bowed deeply, "I am advisor Hayala Martaz and this is the captain of our nation's craft David Conner. We sincerely thank you for your invitation."

Cedric cast a glare in Wuya's direction. She wouldn't be redecerating his ship's interior again any time soon.
They travelled along behind the Chonosian Marines in silence.
Fluid Time later...
After the two from Shadow SeaQuest had walked into the conference room, they kept their eyes and ears open.
After a quick bow in way of greeting, Cedric replied to Remiel's question, "I am Lord Cedric and my compatriate is the Lady Wuya. We hail from the nation of Shadow SeaQuest.
"As for our purpose here, I believe you can call it one of testing the waters, so to speak.
"Now, before I forget," he made a motion and Wuya handed him the bottle she was carrying, "A little gift of good faith," he set the bottle on the table, "Blood Wine, aged five-hundred years. You may find it to your tastes."

This was an opportunity unthought of... SeaQuestians, foolish enough to come into the den of Remiel himself! With the information he had recieved this was just getting better and better. He spoke at nothing better than average volume, but his voice seemed to carry through the room. "Emperor Remiel, I have news from a Prophet. It is most important that we speak on what he has said... I think that YOU in particular will desire to hear his words. Colonel Sunday of the ACS delivered the message to me. I have it written here." He holds up a datapad, and begins to walk towards Remiel with it.
If the emperor accepted it he would see something that many nations had long dreaded and hoped for in equal mneasure. Something to shatter the balance of power for some time to come...
The Text on the pad was as follows, simple, but also getting the message across effectively, if in a bit of a mind numbing and painful manner...
And I say uNto you all! BeholD! He has Returned unto us, even As it was foretold in days Past. A yeaR and a day, and he shall return unto thee, and those that are rIghteous, he shall Make them rightEous, and those that are unrighteous, he shall make them bleed. The three Sskiss moved on through the bowels of the ship and eventually met with a group of Chronosians. One of them (which all three Sskiss identified as 'one of dominance') made a gesture of 'acknowledgement of presence'. Koo'Kooo explained this to both Kraal'Trakk and Kiii'Ruup. This gesture of Turel's pleased all three Sskiss. It showed respect -- especially from one that seemed of 'great dominance'.
The aliens, even with there limited olfactory sense could not fail to notice the punjent smells and other oders emminating from the Sskiss. The stench of carrion was also present - especally from Kraal'Trakk.
The alien spoke....
"Welcome to our grand vessel; if you would follow my men and I, we shall escort you to the site of the meeting. Our Emperor looks forward to engaging in diplomacy with your species; indeed, you have helped our interest in the tales we have heard of you and your kind."
The sound coming from the alien meant little to any of the Sskiss, however the translation did. Each of the three members of the Sskiss delegate possessed a small walnut sized organic translator node placed adjacent to the left ear drum. The translator node looked exactly like a bony rugose growth that is a common anatomical feature amoung the Sskiss. Each translator was connected to the nerves of the inner ear, and ultimately, the brain. The incoming alien massage was then translated to the following by each of the nodes;
The Sskiss speach that followed sounded like a seething smoldering volcano.....
"Welcome to our 'teeth and claws' of our race/species You can follow my packmates/crechemates and I, we will take you to the chamber of the gathering/speaking. Our 'Tyrant/Ruler' of our race is desirous of speaking with your race/species. We wish to speak to you about you and your race.
The voice finally stopped echoing around the vast chamber.
The last sentence of the alien message was very difficult to translate, and Kraal'Trakk had difficulty in understanding it. It suggested that he and his two companions were of importance..... Kraal'Trakk knew this was not so -- Sskiss "speaker to others" were of generally of low rank among the Sskiss monolithic hierarchal social structure. However, after a rather long (and perhaps uncomfortable silence) he finally continued to speak.
"We will follow your pack at a respectful distance due to 'territorial imperative' -- must be obeyed....." The other two Sskiss signaled 'acknowledgement of basic truth'.
Kraal'Trakk continued adding modifiers of 'importance of speaking'. "We are pleased to speak with your 'Tyrant/Ruler' but a communal territory must be established/created for all to enter and then speak. This is critical/needed.... Your tyrant/Ruler must mark his right to enter his territory as we must also. Then we will speak...."
At this last portion, Kraal'Trakk's jaws made a wet "clop" sound as they closed together and as a result, thick bacteria laden saliva oozed out of his mouth dropping to the floor.

All light was sucked from a several-meter wide area in the main hall as the Coreship activated its translocation field. A bitter chill followed, warming into a hellish heat before both darkness and varying temperature faded.
In the middle of the field stood five figures. One, a Mekantan male dressed in the crimson uniform and cloak of an Overlord. Black bands on his skin and ebon eyes marked him as one of the Goddess' elites. Another, a female wearing the same uniform with similar bands. Two more, identical featureless obsideon humanoid figures with long tentacles down their backs.
It was the final, however, who was the true arrival. Dressed in simple black robes, the knee-length crimson hair of her avatar waving in a faint breeze left by the field, the Goddess All-Consuming stood calmly. The barest infintesimal fragment of her "body" was used in this avatar, but it was her body regardless, and was nothing to be taken lightly.
The cool blue glow of her eyes quickly faded into simple icy human-like orbs as she began looking about, her four attendants alert the entire time...

Jayn failed to take the toast, but did take a sip of his drink shortly enought after Remiel's toast to lend an air of 'sheepiness'. Toasting Chaos was not exactly something one who believe in order would do.

The three Sskiss had settled the area within the vast central chamber assigned to them. To the relief of all three Sskiss, it was more than large enough -- and away from the gathering crowds of homonids. Like any group of Sskiss sharing a territory for any length of time, each marked it first with their own personal sent by means of glands located at the base of their tails. It had been like this sinse the beginning, a critical ritualistic means to prevent Sskiss from killing each other....
Pungent oders soon followed, each Sskiss sniffed the thick pasty glandular secretions of the other -- and each other. The sents of each flooded their olfactory receptors and was subsequently registered by their brains. The area was know sented by all three and as a result, became 'communual territory' for all three. This was necessary for them, for the Sskiss sent was as important as sight and in order for Sskiss to share a territory, each had to mark it with their own sent. It was not only a manditory function -- it was an automated instinctive one. Kraal'Trakk was first to notice that the force field their people had specically requested was in place and a constant soft hum indicated that it was operational. All three then, (almost simultaneously) squated down to 'sit' in the manner of Sskiss.
The crowd of homonids swelled and ebbed. In such close proximity to each other (and in large numbers) that it irked the three Sskiss. Their territorial instinct seemed non-existant. The Sskiss could not even conceive of doing this amoung their own people -- let alone aliens! It was simply impossible. Not even Koo'Kooo who gazed in facination at it all could walk and stand amoung them. The huge clusters of these homonids reminded Kraal'Trakk of maggots swarming over a carcass several rotation cycles dead. Some of them at least stood off alone or in much smaller groups to themselves off in a corner away from the central mass.
Then it seemed, all three Sskiss saw a group of figures suddenly arrive. Suddenly, in that they simply appeared from nothingness. The Sskiss never developed teleporting technology as it was rumoured that they feared it, or hated it. However, the figures that appeared were to be feared -- or at the very least respected. These figures were called Shrissst'Kruuss'Rhaal which roughly translated in Sskiss ment "Kills Quickly/Suddenly". These figures were the Neo-Mekantans, and if they had reason to arrive here, then it concerned the entire 'creche of stars' and every race in it......

"It shall be my pleasure, lord" She whispered, currently occupied toying with her food; lifting a piece of meat to be elegantly slipped into her mouth, decorated and sharpened teeth playing over the tender flesh.

John felt a small tremmor of fear and curiosity shoot through him. Men had spent years lives trying to puzzle through Lord Remiel, but his consort? He would be the first in the Inferno with such information... such experience.
At the whim of this daughter of Slaanesh of course... 'Elsabet Prestor,' a most interesting name. He absent-mindedly sipped at a milder drink he had found, far easier on the throat and less likely to fry his liver, looking about at the gathered delegates. Interesting guest list...

"Our whims are fickle, and so there shall be no discernable order to my selections. I shall not trouble myself with notions of who is most powerful, or most worthy of our intent; instead I shall amuse myself. The first to speak with us in private, shall be the delegation from No Endorse."
A gesture; a crackle of warp-fire and Remiel and the No Endorse delegates have vanished, faded into nothingness. When they rematerialise, they are in a vast empty conference room, looking down through one way glass at the proceedings.
Remiel gestures lightly, offering the wine that lines the table, taking his own, sipping softly on the fluid, enriched by the bio-organic essence of slaves who have died to produce such narcotic sweeteners.
"No; to business, shall we?"
Jayn noticed the unconventional manner of Chronosia as he helped himself to some of the food. As he munched, he looked over the various delegates and wondered what the game was of each of them was.

John Archer started as the buffet was swept from before him, catapulting him into an empty confrence room. What in nine hells...? An empty room? No, not empty... "There are so many..." He murmered, looking out across the great hall. However, he quickly responded to Remiel. "It shall be as you wish. I wish for this meeting to be as open as possible, as the game of rhetoric serves nothing but itself. I mean no offense, simply openness."
"It is common knowledge that the Inferno is experiencing a difficult time. Our borders are threatened by one of our closest allies, the Eshirian Soverignty, we are undergoing political restructuring after our little spat with both rebels and Cassiopeians, and all know of the question of Imperial sucession and the invasion. On top of all of this, No Endorse is trying to finally emerge from the shadows and overhaul our degrading forces."

Know simply that we may call upon your hand in return, at a time of our chosing, you would repay our favor to you."

"I do, however, wish to comment for a moment on our association with the Empire. We did not, and do not, wish to sever from it. Several advisors skilled in mathmatical modeling of human behavior recommended such a move in name, if not in spirit, to help stabilize the internal situation. In retrospect, we should have severed from the Federation, but the time for such is passed. Know that we still view ourselves as allies of the Empire from our end, and will come to its aide whenever possible, and may soon rejoin if the tides take us there. Finishing his fill, Rhem swept the flateware and utensils to the side. He choose the closest smelling beverage to a dark lager and leaned his chair back to prop his feet on the table. He reached into a sidepocket of his coat and produced a smallish leather bound book. With his long right hand and arm he sat the drink on the floor and thumbed the book open with his left. He began reading the first paragraph of the old traditional novel:
" Games of chance, games of power, games of joy and hate. None are as feared as games of survival where no one really wins and the costs are dear."
'Some of these strutting puppets should learn this,' thought Rhem. 'They have no grace at all...

Space marines... there would be quite a weapon. Fuse them with the Legionarre program, and the possibilities could be endless... The lust for the betterment of the Inferno began to creep into his mind, twinges of nationalism affecting his thoughts ever so slightly.
"Genetics is something far under-developed in the Inferno. We have gotten to the point of preventing and even reversing Y-chromosome degadation, but past there both superstition and lack of funding have left the field barren. Of the mind we know slightly more, but nowhere near enough to satisfy. Such gifts would be appreciated immensely, but must come at some price. What payment would be required?"

Neo-Mekanta
17-04-2006, 07:40
Minagoroshi simply smiled as she watched the events transpiring, noting slight reactions from various leaders.
An old memory, a man she had so long ago - an irrelevant contact, but one nonetheless. He seemed different and the same at once, oddly, but that mattered not. Balrogga was a powerful nation, and though she was in her infant stages at the time, she recalled he had the aura of a strong leader. He would be of note.
Also, however, three Sskiss, a race once an ally to the once-hated, now mourned, Old Mekanta. Members of ESUS, and rather powerful ones at that, they were not to be taken lightly. They appeared, however, to give Neo-Mekanta the healthy respect that even Central Facehuggeria and Indra Prime gave the Hegemony, and thus were fairly important. They would also be of note.
The male Mekantan gave a short hiss of disgust as he looked around, keeping his voice low as he spoke to the other of his species. "<Poor-health, to make-being. Low-being-creatures, to hate.>" ("I feel ill. I hate these lesser creatures.")
The female just smiled, shaking her head. Her long violet braids, three in number and about a meter in length, waved as she moved, nearly hitting one of the ebon figures. She suppressed a girlish giggle, not wanting to irritate the Goddess All-Consuming on her first mission. "<To laugh. Of you, away-making to past-be long.>" ("That's funny/I'm amused. You've been running away too much.")
"<Sound-cease! To not-truth-make!>" ("Silence! You lie!")
"<To truth-make.> Gurah'zekeh sah Gumatah'zekeh sahnae Kya'Mekanta'zekeh <to not-join-make. Of you of courage to not-know.>" ("Not lies. You don't meet with Ferans and Humans or any other Non-Mekantans. Where's your courage?")
"<Of courage to know. Of pride to great-know.>" ("I'm not scared. I just have dignity.")
"Chiii-kiiiin!" (Poor Mekantan pronounciation of "Chicken")
"... Chii-kiiin kya'nlya. Nlya'za?" ("I don't know 'chicken'. What is it?")
The female just shook her head, chuckling. Much to her surprise, Minagoroshi also showed amusement, but turned to look at her. <"Of him to know-not. Of you to know-not. Of sound-make to stop.> Nlya'ka'nlya?" ("He doesn't know things. You don't know things. Stop being noisy. Understand?" Though Nlya'ka'nlya is a carry-over from a more ancient form of Mekantan.)
"Tza'to!" ("Yes!") They both bowed in a Mekantan salute, dropping to a knee in respect for the Goddess.
Minagoroshi turned to the ebon figures, both silent throughout the exchange. A single mental command to speak to the Sskiss sent one of the figures walking the direction of their meeting area. These were some of the Goddess All-Consuming's newer creations, forged from her 'flesh' just as the Zircon were. These new Obsidians, however, lacked the damning flaws of their Zircon cousins, namely their limited individual intelligence and the static crystaline formations that made up thier bodies after thier forging. The new creatures were entirely true to the essence that created them, the ever-adapting, ever-ready, omni-aware, and near omni-potent 'flesh' of Minagoroshi. This was demonstrated quite nicely as the Obsidian became the focal point of a sharp hissing sound, quickly growing and shifting as it walked until it stood as a twenty-three foot long, fifteen foot high creature similar to the Sskiss 'leader' in general shape. The difference was in the arms, two sets of long limbs that reached to the creature's knees as it walked, and the tentacles that remained on its back. As it approached the Sskiss area, it issued a short greeting in broken Sskiss, as well as it could manage from the information on thier language that existed from ESUS, asking if they wished communication with a representative of Neo-Mekanta.
A second command sent the female Mekantan walking to the Balroggan leader, a slight bounce in her step as pride in serving the Goddess All-Consuming took over. She bowed politely to the old man, dropping slightly but not to a knee. "I have glee-things- Greetings- from my Goddess Minagoroshi. Meeting between you and the Goddess, if you wish, can be made..." She struggled with the tongue used by many people in the chambers, never having become fluent with it as part of her training as a Tansyaaath'ze Ekatari (Hand of Minagoroshi/Goddess) elite.

Nhur-Galladu watched the Mekantan walk toward him, the three braids dancing as she proudly carried out her Duty. He could see the kinetic energy roll through the braids, ripple through her form, and enlighten her as she moved.
It was this way with all creatures.
Ta’Nar perceived the world through the energies contained within objects. They could see the sound of the voice, the kinetic energy of actions, and the radiant energies of the electromagnetic spectrum instead of just the end products of color.
As the female with the purple colored braids stopped in front of Nhur-Galladu, he wondered what the Goddess would wish of him.
The girl bowed but not as deeply as she had done earlier to her Goddess. That was understandable. She would only be giving the honor of a bow to another non-Mekantan if her duty demanded it. To have any Mekantan bow in the slightest was considered an honor to be remembered. They were a proud race that did not consider others their equal so it was very rare to see anyone of importance to do so.
"I have glee-things- Greetings- from my Goddess Minagoroshi. Meeting between you and the Goddess, if you wish, can be made..."
He could also tell she was struggling with the Terra-Lingo so many of the nations used. It was a hodge-podge of several nations’ tongues and dialects that did not have an official set structure, but continuously evolved through usage. For some of the races it was almost impossible to use so they had to resort to employing translators to speak for them. Usually these were insectoid races that lacked the soft palate used for making the wet slurred sounds needed for Terra-Lingo.
Nhur-Galladu returned the bow; exactly mimicking the degree of honor she gave, careful not to outdo her. He replied by initiating a direct communication with her mind, causing his words to be understood as if she were hearing her own native language. It was an old trick employed by the Empire for centuries. Whoever would hear them talk would only hear their own tongue being spoken.
“I am honored by the invitation of the Goddess. I will meet with her at her own convenience, barring our host needing our attention. You do your Goddess great Honor and I will tell her of you when we meet.”

Tashreh math Za'ril blinked, marvelling at the psionics demonstated by the non-Mekantan. Though she was young, still considered a child by some traditionalist Mekantans, she had quite a bit of experience with supposedly 'lesser' creatures, but had never yet seen one so skilled in telepathy.
She closed her eyes, concentrating for a moment. Mekantans naturally made psychic connections with others of their race when during personal conversations, transmiting leads and feelings as they spoke, and Tashreh could feel a similar kind of connection when the old one spoke. She tried reaching out the same way before speaking, opening her eyes and taking a deep breath first.
"I/We thank you for un-evil words. Going to speak now." She managed to say, in Mekantan but managing to give basic meaning. When no look of confusion spread across the old one's face, Tashreh beamed, turning to the Goddess and frowning when she saw her sovereign confronted by another leader. She quickly sent a telepathic message to the leader of the Neo-Mekantan Hegemony, not wanting to run all the way over and back, appearing rude. {Tak'Gumatah'zekah <to have speaking.> Zatak'Tansyaath <to speak of Human man. Confirmation?> Confusion. Embarassment.}
Minagoroshi's response was as simple as the command that sent her. She turned back to the Balroggan leader, bowing again and switching back to broken Humanspeak. "Asking if speaking to lowly Mekantan lady is suitable for moment? Goddess detained by pathet-" She caught herself. No badmouthing other leaders. "- By less important Human. Appologies. Leaving if desire you do."

He responded a professional Friendly tone saying “Well in the grate scheme of things no one nation is important, in-fact history will forget even the greatest empires Ions and Ions later. Meanwhile, I would like to have a little more interaction between our 2 nations, of course that’s up to you, but I’m just throwing this out there, In hopes of acauly getting something useful from this conference, other than a quick chat.”

Nhur-Galladu looked over to where Minagoroshi was being entertained by President Bastidas and sent the Mekantan an empathic feeling of understanding and acceptance.
“I would be perfectly entertained by your presence. You can ask me a question and I will in turn ask you one of equal importance. You may ask anything you wish to know. I also understand anything I say will also be heard by your Goddess. I feel it is in your nature to share thoughts and experiences with others of your kind. That is acceptable and understandable.”
Nhur-Galladu waited for the girl to ask, suspecting she would contact Minagoroshi for guidance if she did not have a question to ask. Either way was acceptable in his viewpoint. They were trying to waste time until the Goddess was able to speak to him personally.

Nhur-Galladu really had not expected such a question. He was prepared for one about the Empire or any number of other things. Psionics were such a part of the Ta’Nar existence that he never thought about them. He would have to explain some of his history to explain them.
“I really don’t know where to begin other than the beginning. The Ta’Nar has always had the ability to speak mind to mind among our own kind. In the times before all Ta’Nar were able to speak this way and as a matter of fact, we only spoke this way. Those were dark times where we only existed for the Hunt. The Chaos around us was populated by all sorts of noise some creatures and we felt it was out position to punish them for intruding upon our realm. We grew tired of the same old Hunt so we started to pull information from the minds of those we stalked. Over time we were able to piece together great secrets. Secrets held in fragments from many great races we hunted. We harvested these secrets and assembled them together into the Great Magics. We used the Eldritch Powers we gained to tear open a way out of that place and we left the Chaos behind.”
Nhur-Galladu paused to see if Tashreh was following along before continuing.
“Once we were out of that place, we found ourselves under the stars. This was a first for us having never had anything like them to look upon. We also had some intruders. There were already creatures inhabiting this world that we found ourselves sharing. Out of fear they ran and hid from us, probably because they were less than a third of our size. We searched them our in their holes and burrows. We dragged them into the starlight and we made them ours. We decided to adopt this race as our children and try to bring them up to be like us. At first it was slow but they were quick to learn. They were also cleaver with their manipulators. They were imaginative and invented technological gadgetry, which interested us greatly. We learned from our children as they taught us the secrets of Physics. We took what we learned and expanded upon it much faster than they did so by the time they were learning to fly in aerocraft, we were establishing colonies in the outer regions of the star system. We continued to uplift this Child race, or Childer as we called them while we continued to unlock further secrets of technology.”
Nhur-Galladu knew he was getting off the topic but it was necessary.
“Now, we noticed the Childer started to develop the ability to communicate by thought. It was a rare individual that had this ability but it was there. We conferred in a great Gestalt together and decided to both explore the possibility of the Childer becoming like us and to expand upon our abilities. After several years we were able to develop Telekinesis, Biokinesis, Electrokinesis, ESP, and a number of other Abilities, each with their own powers.”
“So the answer to your question is they came naturally many eons ago. We have always had them and we cause them to develop in our Childer so they can grow to be more like us.”
Nur-Galladu looked at Tashreh to see if she understood.
“You can tell Minagoroshi whatever you wish of what I just shared. My question for you is the same. How did you come to be able to use Meta Ability?”
Jayn watched the various alien races interact with interest. In addition to being a diplomat of sorts, he was also enjoyed studying xeno-cultural anthropology, and cross-species interactions, both of which this conference was providing in enjoyable amounts.
The Chronosians also happened to lay an excellent buffet which made it all the more enjoyable. The only thing that seemed amiss was the lack of music, and looking around for one of the hosts, he intended to see about that.
Kraal'Trakk was awakened by a persistant nudging at his right flank. He stirred, lurched to his feet saw it was Kiii'Ruup who having seen the latter awaken, backed off....
"Explain meaning of gesture/awakening of slumber?" Kraal'Trakk hissed added modifers of 'mild disturbance/annoyed' He was awoken from a lucid dream which involved eating something.
"Necessary....Important matter/concern to be attented too"....... "Look/observe"..... Kiii'Ruup turned her deep short snouted horned head toward the direction of the concern. Kraal'Traak later looked about and swung his enormous head toward Koo,Kooo whose was at the far side of the temporary Sskiss compound and seemed intent on ridding her hide of some annoying tick. Her muscular supple neck was turned to angle her head toward her right flank intent on dislodging the annoying parasite. Her drab brown plummage was fluffed to facilitate the ridding of the tick.
Kraal'Traak stomped his foot to get the latters' attention, who immediatly ceased her grooming attempt. Kraal' Traak signaled 'attention to speaking' and said "Matter for your concern".... "What was the purpose of 'other' that approaches?"
"Unknown/lack of data" squawked Koo'Kooo who almost went back to ridding herself of the tick.....
"Speculate" Kraal'Traak quickly spoke with modifiers of 'patience'.
"Serviter/soldier caste...." She paused briefly and continued, "protector of those of dominance/command." Koo'Kooo then signaled 'speculation of conclusion'.
The answer seemed to satify Kraal'Traak, however he could not help wonder why the Neo-Mekantans did not come themselves....
-----------------------------------------------------
In the distance, a strange Neo-Mekantan form approached steadily closer, it eventually arrived and then suddendly halted at a considerable (and respectable) distance from the temporary Sskiss compound. It began to "speak" in Sskiss, albeit poorly, although all three of the Sskiss found it was strangely clear. Koo'Kooo soon sent it on it's way after a brief easily remembered message for it to taken back to its superiors. The creature melted back into the mass of homonids which more than ever before formed tight clusters save for a few who stood alone or in pairs.

"You doubt our hospitality? After all we've done for you, Robert. After all our joined histories have come to bear fruit and present us with this moment; still you would doubt me? Fear me?" Remiel tittered softly. "Please...You misjudge us entirely. The Inferno delegates were returned unharmed; as you shall be; once all our matters are laid bare."
He seated himself, sipping his drink.
"Now; what can I do for you?"

Rob grinned at him with a hint of flirty gestures on his mouth as he walked over a little bit careful not to intrude on personal space , rob started speaking in a normal run of the mill tone, casually putting his hands to his side and on the table leaning over a little.
“Well, I’m going to cut to the chase; I’m not going to talk about trade or this other border nonsense, I am here to talk about the GFFA, and what will become of it, My government is annoyed with the arrogance and self important pandering of the members and I’m pretty fed up my self about the entire affair, its gotten to the point that I cringe Every time I hear the names of any GFFA members.”
He sighed a bit and stood up a little more relaxing as he breathed in subtly, looking down at the figure in front of him, “I also want to revitalize, our alliance do some thing together that will make other people think twice before messing with us..”

"In ancient days; when mighty animals basked upon the shiores of the aseas that had borne them; they were continually frustrated by flies, biting at their hides; vexing them; tormenting them. Even now; this is you; flailing, helpless as you are irritated and tormented.
You lack the strength to throw off every foe. But eventually; those mighty beasts found the insects nests; and burned them, and crushed them, and laid waste to every vestige of their verminous kind. Such as this has been, so shall it be again. Do you understand?"

Rob chuckled a little and leaned forward again, grinning slightly his hands resting on the table once more he said “ you’re right, what are we going to do about them, My nation is on the verge of declaring all out war on these pests, our country Is sick and tired of there arrogance, I need to know If we can trust you to aid us in such endeavors, the nation of seaquest in particular is a huge bother to us, we need to curb there enthusiasm a little bit… if you catch my drift” the other delegates stood in back, rather up tight not moving in support of the president.

"The timing is not right; not yet. But there will come a time where you shall be the hand of glory, squeezing the life from an alliance simply existing to protect those who otherwise would have been hunted down and slaughtered. No...You shall be a worthy instrument of unbridled rage and destruction" A pause, a sip of his potent liquor. "Is there any other matter than these arrogant mites who oppose your proud flesh...?"

Rob spoke again his hands rubbing on the table as he inched closer a bit, he smiled and said “yes, there is, I mentioned something about our nations doing something together, I think We should find something to do, either a police action or covert action, it will train both our forces to work in unison on the battle field and allow others to see we mean business, And I think we should make our own join star base some place annoying to certain nations” he held back a few sinkers, as he looked in to the emperors eye with full seriousness commenting something “you know some people call me psychotic, some how I doubt you see me that way, since you are the kind of psychotic, in a good way of course ”

"Thank you; I suppose." he chuckled softly. "You and your kind have much potential. You have not studied the ways of war as intently as we have; not have you honed the human spirit to killing edge. But across all my Imperium, the work goes on; molding Chronosians into the foremost of what could be termed....Human sub-species. Look at us, Robert; look at the glory we achieve alone; seperately; and yet think. Think of what we could achieve. Together."

Rob grinned a little, a feeling of friendliness in the atmosphere went over him, he lifted his smooth but strong hands and put it on his ally’s shoulder, a hint of curiosity went through his fatigued mind, he had not slept in over 2 days, his mind was a jumble of confusion, his thoughts were half off the subject they were discussing and half on personal interests on this emperor.
Rob was some what intrigued, he was not as arrogant like other leaders, and less concerned on his own ego, he also seemed to value good allies, his face showed fatigue and stress, but a hint of momentary happiness and clam at that moment, this was all taking place with in the split second it would take him to respond, he was trying to find the words that would be a decent response to this rather riddled statement.
His mind was in a state of constant thought, confusion and emotions of all type, it was well disorganized and unfocused it did not help that he was so tired, physically and mentally, though by this time he had surely gotten used to running on nothing not even a scrap to eat. There were worst times when he had went with days on end with out sleep or little or no food to eat.
Quickly he uttered some thing “Thank you very much, We do aspire to be glorious one day, but not to achieve bloated arrogance like other nations, but as chaotic as this universe is, there always seems a few constant things, war, peace, treachery, love.. And anger.” His gazed depend a bit, reflecting even more fatigue, it was coming out more now as his stance slowly dribbled lower from a tall standing person, to an almost broken old man, but still he uttered those words, still looking at the emperor even with his fatigue a hint of brother like feeling could be observed in them. He spoke again his hands still on the emperor’s shoulders. “All this grate technology we have… yet it seems empty, ascent nations, or so they are called seem to strive for arrogant power like gods, we as the underling members of the universe should not allow that, for one day I fear they will threaten even our 2 powers..”
It seemed like a tense eternity for rob, not knowing if it would come back to hurt him or cause an incident, but at this point he didn’t care, he was happy to be among friends away from the work of home , and able to speak to some one that could understand.
His breathing slowed a bit as it winded down to a slow exhale and inhaling motion, like he was in a claming place.

"Of course. We shall safeguard the stars and ensure the glorious victory of those worthy of rule. You have much potential, Robert. You will walk at the side of those who are destined to rule these worlds; these stars that blaze amongst the void. Even when they are snuffed out; we shall endure. Bards will sing tales of our glories; empires will have been forged in our names. And we shall triumph; lord over the void like the True Gods...We shall be there...Brother." Remiel bowed lightly, gesturing for a moment. "And now; I fear, your time is over. But we shall speak again Robert; there shall be much to discuss in the times that come."
Another gesture and the Federal delegation was returned to its place in the room below. Remiel paused; running a hand through his black locks, closing his eyes, pale lids sealing shut. Who next? Who amongst them was worthy to hear his words?
"Summon the Shadow Seaquest delegate. I would have words with them. Though I must admit, that bitter brood bring a foul taste to my mouth..."

That Chaos worshipper's where holding a diplomatic functionw as, a diverting concept for the council, they could imagine Tzeetch worshippers doing something akin to this admittadly, but a Tzeetch worshipper would hide it behind multiple levels of obfuscation making it overly complicated, requiring days of contemplation while you worked out just what exactly they where proposing... This was open and obvious, and was unexpected. This alone made the council pay more than a mere moments interest. Perhaps it would be useful to walk into the lions den, and have a look around, much could be learnt from walking on a world held by chaos without being sure something was going to try and kill you. You could spend more time observing the foolish Mon-Keigh who gave themselves over to the worship of beings they could never hope to comprehend.
So it was Badb Trill-Gorath agreed to go, she was experianced in walking in the dark places, it was her role in the council for a long time. So it was she, like any diplomat off to a social function spent a while deciding exactly what to wear, where she differed from the more usual such dierliberations on these matters is what she picked. the Bulk of her clothing was her well worn and tended Rune-Armour. Fate and Chance bending around this ancient suit of armour, causing all who looked too closely to at it, a growing irriting headache as they looked at history being bent. around her neck she wore an expensive necklace, six large gems dominated it, each was a perfect cut, and the same size and type. Dreamstones, they protected the wearer from the influance of the Darker powers of the Immaterium, in short Chaos. they also caused discomfort to beings of said powers, they where also practically priceless, and entirely dispossable to Badb Trill-Gorath.
At her side she carried the symbol of her office as a Farseer, a greater version fo the warlock's Witchblade, it crackled with the energies of the immaterium, as she stepped into her personal transport she closed the helmet around her armour, enclosing herself completly in it's ancient protection, isolating herself from her surrondings, her voice carried through it's internal speaker's. She would not contaminate herself even remotely, she would not breath the air of that tainted place. In short she looked set for war not diplomacy...
Now the craft entered the web slipping into that strange realm the journey was short, and it slipped out again above the world of the degenerate worshippers of the fell powers. she would not bother requesting permission to land rather her mind sought out that of her host, touching it slghtly before relaying her presence.
Greetings Mon-keigh I speak now for the Council fo the Keigh of Tor Yvresse. I shall be landing shortly, I expect a fitting greeting for your better. Farseer Badb Trill-Gorath The name was more a series of images, of a Blade and a sense of loss amongest nameless, faceless victims as a invisble stalker destroyed their lives. The message sent she broke contact, if one could see her face it would speak of her disgust at having to touch even so minorly such a mind, and not being allowed to destroy it in the process, such was the cost of serving her people she thought.
Now the ship descended into the upper atmosphere the graceful form seemignly unconcerned by the stress of re-entry.

IC: As Wuya had long since returned to the ship to check on the cargo, Lord Cedric faced the Chronosian summons alone.
Upon 'entering' the chamber, he paused for a moment to allow his eyes to adjust to the darkness. Placing the wine glass in his hand down on a near-by table while carefully permitting not a single drop to slosh out.
"Interesting decorum you have in here," he said after locating his 'host', "Shall we get down to buisness, or are there more formalities that most be taken care of beforehand?"
If anyone bothered to check, not only did his eyes freeze the soul of anyone who looked into them, but his entire being was suffused with dark shadow energies and magick. Lord Cedric, as the commanding officer of the nation of Shadow SeaQuest's armed forces, was one of the more powerful entities in said nation, and thus felt no fear regarding his present circumstances alone while deep in the heart of a Chronosian fortress far inside their territory.

"There is nothing more. That you are here proves enough. Such a cloying cloud of evil; you shroud yourself in power, professing your own notions of superiority. But darkness is nothing compared to the glories of Chaos. You came here seeking power, more power; power enough to smite your wretched Alteran brethern.

"Chaos is only a single aspect of the darkness," Cedric replied smoothly, "Now, as I didn't come here for a phylisophical(sp?) debate, I won't start a debate on religon.
"What I did come here for was to do three things. The first was to foster better relations between our two nations. The second was to deliver an invitation from Prince Phobos inviting you to dine with him at his table. And the third was to let you know that we've noticed the gathering forces of light in the universe into their alliances and propose forming an alliance of darkness in all its aspects.

Badb almost chuckled to herself, The Mon-keigh thinks I am afaid of what it views as She-Who-Thirsts... As if it could grasp even a portion of what She-Who-Thirsts is. As if it's mind could compare to the things I have seen. Then the craft landed, she would not waste time in idle banter from across the void of deep space. when it could be done in person. As the elequent craft landed she slowly roused herself, and moved to the exit, her movements economical she was here to observe the foolishness of the lost, and witness all for the great-project to come.
The Seal to the craft cracked open and she stepped out, for a moment she stood in thin air, ut with an almost casual seize of the Immaterium she lowered herself to the ground effortlessly. In truth a minor manipulation of the Grav tech utilised by most Keigh technology could have achieved the same effect with less effort. This was not a concern it was meant as a message to the Mon-keigh before her that could see, those that could not, where irrelevent in her mind.
On the ground she looked around and internally shivered, so many Mon-keigh and not one Keigh nothing of value, she was surronded by dross, and things that needed to be removed. She was surronded by vermin, truely she had to wonder if this was worth it... Ah well at least she had avoided the worst of the meal, really watching vermin eat was not something she wanted to suffer through. She had heard Iyanna had done it, indeed by all reports Iyanna had, initiated a strange game of one upmanship with Mephetran back before he had gained their trust. She was honestly impressed, although in her own defence, that function had, had other beings of worth in attendence, this was empty of such redeeming features.
Still she would walk amongest them and even maybe nod her head in polite greeting, even as she held herself apart. Allow them to wash over her, she was Farseer. They where the worshippers of the ruinous powers, yet she would not this day destroy them.
((OOcly Eek yes there was a reason I sent Badb, and this is it really if it wasn't badb I really couldn't see any other way to attend ICly. She was the only one with a 'charming' enough personality to attend. This is also why Badb dosn't attend too many social functions))

"Darkness is merely a fragment of Chaos. Each baudy and overt atrocity you could commit would simply exist to feed the true Gods; the glorious Lords of Chaos who reign in the Immaterium. No mere prattle of darkness could match such...Perfection" He chuckled, sipping softly at his wine.
"I have forged an alliance to fit my own whims and needs. The Lords of Chaos, an alliance of glorious Entropy, stand ready to sweep across the galaxy in a glorious wave of unknowable war. Good things come to those who wait, but to those who force the hands of fate, all power and glory shall fall. I might humor your Lord Phobos with my presence, but the attentions of the Scion of Chaos do not come lightly, nor to all races.
What else is it you seek, little ones? Would you have dominion over those whom my servants slaughter upon Belle Terre? Cedric shrugged and replied, "Simple semantics. Like I said, I'm not here for a debate," he retrieved his own glass and took a sip before continuing, "As for the SeaQuestian Empire, they can wait. The smaller, off-shoot nation of Shadow DSV is not only closer, but would allow us access to info on the projects of both nations so we can develop counter-measures.
"As for a soldier from any of the three SeaQuests being a coward, doubtful. Be they from the currently isolationst SeaQuest, the diplomatic SeaQuest DSV, or the dark Shadow SeaQuest, they all will fight to the death. I know this from personal experience. You don't think they just let us walk away when we left to from Shadow SeaQuest, now.
"And this trickery you mentioned, can be quite a useful tool if used correctly. For example, tricking a nation to destroy itself from the inside without loosing one of your own people in the ensuing civil war. When the dust settles, you would be the one in control."
A pause for breath, "As for Belle Terre, we shall wait to see who wins. Even if they win, they'll be weakened enough to fall to a second assault. I've fought Imperial forces personally on the battle field, thus I won't count them out just yet.
"Still," a cold smile and another sip, "I'm only the messenger. Prince Phobos wanted to discuss the details and specifics with you himself. Things such as the taking of SeaQuest DSV and the eventual step to SeaQuest itself will take time and thus planning.
"As for your so called 'Lords Of Chaos', excluding yourselves, are there any active members anymore that actually use their connection to said alliance?
"I have it on good authority that SeaQuest is forming an alliance of its own. One to promote light throughout the universe. Shadow SeaQuest, as any true nation of darkness should, seeks to stifle this light, but we can't do it on our own. The galaxy we've currently set up shop in would make a great staging area for an alliance of darkness. We've even come up with a name for this proposed alliance, the League Of Shadows."

"Its far from being simple semantics; when one knows nothing of the true power of Chaos, they know nothing of the Universe. The Seaquestrian Empire, cannot wait and shall not wait. For example, its location. You shall give it to us, and then, then they shall know the might of the Imperium.
Trickery is not destroying an enemy from within, that is glorious manipulation and corruption gifted by the Architect of Fate, glorious Tzeentch. What you and your bastard offshoots espouse is combat by proxy. You know nothing of the intimate glories of war; and so, I denounce them as cowards, fools and pretentious morons. And I pray to the Gods that you share not their wretched little habits, and have a dash of Khorne within your souls.

"Attacking SeaQuest itself without any intelligence is foolhardy at best. SeaQuest DSV is a far more profitable, so to speak, first target of Shadow SeaQuest," replied Cedric, "'Prince' Phobos is not one to barge into things head first without a plan," his eyes narrowed, "as for getting the location of Altera, you'll have to take that up with him.
"And, like I said," he took another sip of his drink, "I'm not here to get into a debate with you. You may decree its not simple semantics, but did you ever consider that we refer to the same thing only by different names?
"Now, I see no reason to allow you the honor of the kill when it rightfully belongs to Shadow SeaQuest. I know your nation's reputation as an betrayer of oaths. I've also heard your nation was once in charge of the Galactic Empire. There are also several other Chaos nations out there. There are few who would stand against the might of the Imperium. Fewer still who would refuse us.
You come before us and answer questions with questions. You prattle about semantics while you yourself speak in euphemism and conceit. Remiel chuckled softly. "I am he called Oathbreaker, named Kinslayer and Doom of Worlds. What has your Lord Phobos to his name? Chaos shall outlast all of you, all of us. "Prince Phobos," replied Cedric, "may not have as grand titles as you, but they are just that, titles. As they say, actions speak louder than words. Thus, why we are arranging a little demonstration to proove to you that we are not pansies, cowards, weaklings, or anything of the sort.
"As for Chaos ruling," Cedric shrugged, his robes moving around him silently, "I'm not so sure. While the only constant in the universe is change, as they say, nature is about a balance of opposites. Male and female, yin and yang, left and right, good and evil, right and wrong, death and life, up and down, and so on.
"The only true constant of this and any universe is time. Time steadily marches on while we grow old and die. Time has seen the rise of many a great empire and has been around to see it collapse and fall. Time is neverending and will constantly flow in the same direction with us in tow. We are at the mercy of time. We may try to recapture the glory days of our past, but we should be looking towards the future instead of wallowing in what has been.
"As for the Sith, bah! The Sith are weak. A true warrior of darkness, or Chaos as you term it, would easily defeat a Sith warrior in one-on-one combat. The Sith claim to be all powerful, yet they only practice one side of this so called Force. Only those who use both of the so called sides of the Force can be truely powerful with it."
Cedric's bit on the Sith dripped with disdain. It was obvious that the Sith were not held in high regard with him.

Badb viewed her role here as reconisence, she was here to look at the Ancient-Foe, and record details few witnessed. Originally therefore she had hoped to hold herself aloof and distent from the assembled guests. Now through she was reconsidering this position, it might be useful to gain the 'insight' of the other visitor's those not yet fully under the shadow of the Ruinous-Powers.
As she looked over the rooms occupents she pulled back her revulsion at the crawling lesser creatures, and stiffened her resolve. It was time to mingle, perhaps it would be useful to speak to one of those that had already spoken to their 'host'. The stumbling weak man would make a useful source, besides perhaps she could plant the seed of doubt into the man, perhaps plant the beginings of a bitter crop for the Mon-keigh.
Her choice made she slowly approached the man looking down across at him she fought hard to clear her mind of the true feelings for the man and projected a mildly interested air forgoing the mundane means of communication her mind reached across the immaterium to touch his. So, what draws you to throw away your soul, and choose eternal torment Mon-keigh? Her opening statement was blunt it was ment to be, a blunt direct thrust at the man to see his reaction. would he deny that was his fate, would he shrug in acceptance or would he look surprised? Robert peered over to the strange new comer and raises an eyebrow, his head fluidly turning and looking upon the odd woman, he looked her up and down with some attraction during the split second pause between the question and answer.
He answered in a rather causal, but slightly diplomatic tone “I do not understand you .. how ever if you are referring to my alliance with this nation it merely serves a tactical porpoise, and it is to maintain a brotherly peace, we do not necessarily embrace the dark side, but we do not interfere with those who do because its simply not our problem….”
His voice seemed to have a hint of confusion but only slightly, his lips shivered and his toung slipped out to lick his lips quickly…
Mean while his consciousness and mind where filled with platitudes of attraction, interested and other affairs of a personal matter, his eyes glanced at the odd woman now and again looking her up and down In the split second before she could respond, his brown eyes focused like cameras on particular spots ...
He was trying to figure out what this.. odd looking being wanted and why she had come up to him with such a blunt tone, his out ward appearance how ever was confident, strait forward and professional with only a slight bit of flirting body language rob was not evil ,he was more prone to the good side than the evil side, his dragon soul shimmered around slightly inside him, taking notice of the strange being , Robert felt it in his chest it was rather displeasing to have such a soul rustle around you like in some bush…
His body shimmed ever so slightly with a feeling of discomfort, his left hang clenching a bit, but his face staying composed and clam..

Nhur-Galladu looked away from Tashreh and glanced across the room where a newcomer was approaching the Federal Union president. He could feel her establishing a direct communications with him. Nhur-Galladu could even pick up her “words” as she broadcast them. The Mindspeak had a distinct flavor about it hat reminded him of days ancient. It reminded him of the times of the Eldar.
“Tashreh, you might want to inform your Goddess Queen that we have esteemed company. We have an Eldar among us. Please tell her the Eldar seems to be a Farseer. You can answer your question to me later if we find time.”
Nhur-Galladu kept an aspect of his mind focused upon the Farseer and President Robert as they talked.

That which is impossible, becomes possible to one who has tamed the power of Chaos. One who has courted the gods and gained their favor. I have taken time and effort to dedicate my life to the pursuit of absolute glory, absolute perfection. Even my death was merely another pleasure to be experienced, another sensation indulged.
Yet it was there that I saw them, let them take me, reshape me. My father had failed and only I could redeem his mistakes, only I could lead the Imperium to its destiny. And so I do. Unbound by any foolish concepts of morality, or weakness, I shall lay low the Materium for the absolute triumph of Chaos. "Death is only the beginning of a far greater adventure," began Cedric, "as for your little vendetta against this Masaki Jedi is an obsession that could potentially lead to your downfall. If the oppurtunity presents itself, then take it. However, you shouldn't persue it actively as it will totally consume you. Something a national leader shouldn't be," he paused to take a sip but stopped mid-way as he sensed something.
With a cold smile, he said, "You'll be interested to know that you've got a new arrival. From what I can sense of this one's aura, I wouldn't be surprised if he or she was here more for intelligence gathering than peaceful relations."

Badb was truely confused, was this Mon-keigh attempting to flirt with her, it had been a while since she had thought about the acts of flesh that so fascinated others. she vaguely recalled her life before, she vaguely remembered her marriage, and the courtship of her husband. For a Decade they had danced around each other, moving ever closer content to take their time. Yet she felt vaguely that yes this Mon-keigh was trying to come on to her, even if she had not been Farseer she would have been repulsed, she was Keigh, he was something that needed to be exterminated.
calm, I must remained focused, steel Pausing she felt something at the edges of her thoughts someone was listening good. You are tainted by your associations, you ally yourself with the Ruinous powers, and accept their actions. In doing so you make a concession, the first step on the road to worship is allowing them access. You attend their functions drink of their wine, eat of their food breathe of their air. suddenly she cut the mental connection.. the next words where spoken aloud for the room to hear.
'Which is an act of incrediable inanity in and of itself. The four ruinous powers are Tzeentch, changer of ways. Bringer of disorder, Khorne the god of destruction murder, and bloodshed. Slannessh, prince of Perversion, It that revels in all sensations, all depravity's.' smiling under her helmet she spoke the next words with a sense of distinct pleasure, wanting the words to sink in... 'And Nurgle Lord of entropy and disease.'
Standing still a moment badb turned her head to look around the room, her gaze resting for a moment on each guest before she continued. In an almost conversational tone of voice. 'I have bound myself in certain rules before I came here, I will not breathe the doubtless contaminated air for example. Yet you walk amongest this place exposed to whatever contaminents the follower's of Nurgle have been 'blessed' by this day. I will not partake of the food or drink, Slannessh has a penchant for driving it's followers to experiance new excesses, Canibalism is not unusual amongest it's followers. Yet you have all eaten the dupious foods on offer, may I suggest a stomach pump is in your near futures?'
Turning to look at the Mon-Keigh before her she reconnected with his mind for the briefst of moments As for you, Mon-keigh, you stand at a cross-roads in fate... I offer you a chance to escape your death as a tool of the Ruinous powers. Walk away from the road your on, or your people will curse your name.

Nhur-Galladu easily re-established contact with the power of the fragmentary mind he created to keep an eye on the newcomer.
“Don’t be absurd. You are creating a spectacle of yourself. It is considered bad taste to insult your host in such a manner. I thought the Eldar were more respectful of others than this. At least the Eldar I have known were better mannered. If you have degraded to such a degree over the eons, then you have become what you fear.”
“One of my Advisors has befriended and trusts an Eldar that goes by the name Eldrad. I know his society has not suffered the degradations you have exhibited. He is quite powerful and equally quite patient. He does not jump to conclusions nor does he act as rashly and CHAOTIC as you. He is not even prejudiced against the younger races such as how you have displayed towards the “Mon-keigh” standing before you. I would hate to see how you return hatred if you treated those that adore you in such a way.”
“If I remember the details correctly, it was your own decadence that created Slaanesh, It was his birth cry that shattered much of your race, or do I misremember the events?”
OOC:
Please note, his "voice" is calm and he is taking the tone of an instructor correcting a student that gave the wrong answer. There is no malice in his words at any point.

OOC warning FEEL the Wank that is to come you have been warned.
IC
Badb turns to look at the foolish being, pausing a moment to laugh internally, before choosing her words carefully. 'Please do tell me what I have said that is an insult.' Her voice became one of scorn 'Does not Nurgle create and spread disease, demanding of it's followers that they gather as many sicknesses to themselves as they can, and share them with all living creatures. If this is the case then is it not the nature of Microbes and Virius that they often are Airborne, and that therefore the presence of one Nurgle worshipper on this an enclosed-self-contained structure could spread the sickness to all here? I believe this is called Biology, most advanced species have discovered the concept, perhaps your missed that stage?'
'As for slannesh yours words are truth, consider then that maybe I know what I speak of. All things are acceptable to a Slaanessh worshipper, nothing is denied them, or forbidden them. They are commanded to seek out new depravity's to experiance. Such as Cannibalism. Considering our host seems to have a fondness for Slannesh I doubt he thinks me suggesting he has tried such things an insult.'
Now her tone settled a moment to one that was meant to sound concilitory and soothing. 'Indeed I suspect he would not even view it as unusual, such is the way of chaos. Those that worship it loose track of what is rational and normal, they become so caught up in it's influance that normality is lost. I have seen Cultists of Slannesh be shot their bloody guts bleeding over the floor, the lower half of their bodies melted away... and their response has been to scream in orgasmic bliss.' For a moment she paused in contemplation,
'Such is what happens to the minds of a Chaos worshipper, it is almost pitiful to see, the only thing that prevents me from feeling pity is knowing that such things are only a fraction of what they do to the unwilling and the sane. They depopulate entire worlds, each victim tortured in new and strangely creative ways, children, babies, and adults treated to things that I will not speak of here.' As she spoke she looked at each of the other guests.
'Please understand this is not meant to insult our host, it is simply to get across the state of his mind. Knowing as I do the workings of the Ruinous-Powers upon their followers, I tell you, he does not view the world the sameway you might. Cannibalism and other such things are desirable to him, it would only be polite of him to share such things with you...'
There was no pause in her speaking now as she looked at the repersentative from balrogga she was on a role and her contempt poured out from her. 'Ignorent species such as your own may think speaking the truth is an insult but I do not. I reminded the people here that Worshippers of Disease make their life here and I gave the god's their names and titles. Nurgle Lord of Entropy, Tzeentch changer of ways, slannesh Prince of Perversion, Khorne the god of Murder. Please do tell me where the insult is?'
Even as she spoke her mind shot a seperate message As for Eldrad the days of Ulthwe are gone, it's light fading in the Galaxy. The days of Yvresse have arrived, our light shines ever brighter we long surpassed Ulthwe. Eldrad was content to linger drawing comfort from the past and looking only to survival, we in Yvresse look to the future, and reclaim what was lost. We in Yvresse walk daily over the head of the Nightbringer as a sign of how far we have come to that future, we have forged peace with Ranisoth, we have fought the might of the Five kingdoms. We have built something new, we walk beneath skies bathed in sunlight, we are the Keigh. as she reached that point her speaking had finished but still her mental message continued. This time aimed directly at the repersentative from Balrogga.
And if you had truely spoken to Eldrad you would know that he shares our view of Mon-keigh, the view summed up in the meaning of the word, That which must be destroyed You know nothing of the Keigh your ignorance shows
OOC really painting Eldrad as some nice guy that likes none-Eldar shows a lack of understanding of Eldrad. Eldrad who saved a few thousand eldar lifes by helping to create ghaskhall Thraka thereby leading to the Armageddon Wars. where several billion humans died, and he did it knowing what was going to happen. Eldred who like all Eldar views Keigh first and everything else never. The only use any keigh as ever had for none eldar apart from the old-ones, is as a meat shield. Nothing more nothing less. Eldrad epitomises this view.
Oh and as I have been reminded he did have something nice to say about the Tau it was 'They might not die' thats a compliment from Eldrad.

Please note, I said Eldrad, not Eldred. Just in case it was a typo, I reread the post and you had every instance f the name spelled Eldred. I have to assume you meant this spelling. The Eldar I know from the reports my advisor has given is from the White Tower Thread. The character is run by the player Snake Eaters and is actually one of the instructors there. I am running off character knowledge and not player knowledge. I assume there are more than a single Eldar named Eldrad, especially since the one you were talking about is supposed to had fallen when he was trapped in the Talisman at the Battle of Cadia because of Slaanesh was inside and he devouring his soul or something like that...
IC:
Nhur-Galladu began to move towards Badb.
“Perhaps you should take off your helmet so you can hear me better. I said I knew of an Eldar named Eldrad, not Eldred. You poor misguided soul. You can’t even hear correctly. You have degenerated so far over the millennium. The Eldar I knew would never make that mistake. They revered the Eldrad that sacrificed himself at Cadia when he boarded the Talisman of Vaul and was devoured by Slaanesh. You can’t even get his name right.”
“There is not an Eldar alive that would get that wrong. Perhaps you are an imposter under that helmet. I would volunteer the lowly task of helping you off with the helmet if that would prove a thing. Although your form seems correct for an Eldar, but that can easily be mimicked if you know how.”
Nhur-Galladu swiftly transformed into the likeness of an Eldar. To an Eldar that had seen representations of Eldrad, a striking semblance would be noticed. The Emperor’s robes remained unchanged. After a couple seconds, Nhur-Galladu returned to his normal self. He looked Badb right in the eye and turned his back to her and began moving away.
“Now, perhaps you could reason why you are here. You came into the presence of those you disdain and profess by your actions and attitude to be better than everyone present. While I will agree you might be better than some, you are not certainly better than all. You claim you need to remain in your suit to keep from being contaminated, but I easily touched your mind with but a fragment of mine. I would also guess you alerted someone of your presence before arriving. Hopefully you used a radio instead of Telepathy. You never know what was left inside your mind from that contact.”
Nhur-Galadu turned again and faced Badb.
“Perhaps you are already contaminated from within.”
“Ponder that.”

"Daniel Masaki shall die, and it is by my hand that his soul shall be taken. It is not a mere vendetta, it is a pairing of glorious fate. He was bound to me the day he took my life, the day he set in motion the events that shall engulf and consume the universe.
He shall die, forever. That shall be my gift to the hated midwife of my re-genesis. And once I have taken him into shadow, once I have let him die, once he has been utterly destroyed and his legacy shattered...Then I shall be appeased.
As to our guest, yes...An Eldar has come amongst us. I could sense their self-righteous arrogance from the moment they entered the system. My Master knows each of them intimately, their hearts desires. They pose no threat, a dwindling, broken race, shattered before the altars of unknowable pleasure. They shall, however, serve as an amusement when they enter my presence."
The sultry figure of Elsabet made her way across the hall to view their new guest, an Eldar speaking in riddles and half-truths. Of course she and Remiel had tried most concievable perversions, as decadant pleasure cults had done at the heart of the Eldar Empire and as doubtless some did still in the depths of Commoragh. She let a smile slide across her lips, reddened and full.
"Ah, an Eldar. We must truly be honored to have such a guest, great farseer." She mocked a bow. "You prattle of the dangers of Chaos, but it was your makers who first birthed it, and you who became the midwives of Slaanesh. You were warned, over...And over...My Master has learned of all of this, and finds it amusing that you and your kind have shepherded in the great ones. He finds you to be acolytes, nessecary evils. There will come a glorious time, when the Immaterium overruns existence, when all burn beneath its power. The Lord of Change shall take the universe, and bend it to his will.
Without the power of the Warp, you and your race would have died out in the throes of Slaanesh's birth. Without it, you would be degenerate husks, hiding and whimpering amongst your webway, waiting for death.
But he shall come, and like a burning shadow, he shall purify the galaxy in hate, galvanise in pain. Such is the way of our Lord Remiel, beloved by all."

Turning away from the emperor badb decided to pay it no more heed, unfortunatly her new gaze took in the shape of the slannesh worshipper and she was forced to listen to her. Finnaly she could take no more 'Do you even think before you speak creature? did you even pause to consider your words, to think your argument through to it's natural conclusion, or did you leap to bring a pathetic verbal attack upon me?' she was filled with scorn and let it show in the response, her body posture. 'First I rather enjoy the existence of the Immaterium, as a Farseer I command it's powers, I dip into it to divine the future and bring it's might to bare upon the foes of my people. Secondly the Web is a part of the Immaterium without the Immaterium there would be no web for us to 'Cower in' which further weakens your attack, lastly through Slannesh can only exist because the immaterium exists. If the immaterium did not exist slannesh could not exist, and we would not be having this conversation.' She shook now in laughter barely containing the sound within her.
'Still what did I expect, after all your master showed his ignorance upon my arrival to the system, those images he sent me. I assume he was trying to impress me, by showing me the War God she-Who-Thirsts was able to leave bloody, bruised and beaten upon it's birth?'' Now she switched seemingly into lecture mode, her body showing intense boredom and a sense of automatic pilot, she had taught this basic history many times, to many Seers. 'What he did not know was that in those days, the being she-he defeated did not entirely leave the warp, it split into two parts. A Part that had fought in the War-in-the-heavens beside the Keigh and the Old-Ones. Fought Nightbringer and remained connected to the Keigh, and the part it was mutating into. A Ruinous-Power. the part that remained in the Immaterium changed it's name from khailia-mensha-Khaine to one remarkably similar, Khorne.' Now she could not contain her mirth at all and her words where mingled with laughter. 'I am sure he will forgive easily the way you used that moment in it's existence, the way you flung it around as an insult. One of it's greatest failures. When it was defeated by the weakest of the Four-God's, I am sure you won't have any problems at all making it up to the foul being.'

The Warp gifts you your powers only by the grace of Chaos, eternal and undilute, and you are a fool to assume differently, a fool to assume that the Warp bends to your very will.
Your Gods are weak and outcast, broken and defeated. What might is there to stand against us, Old Enemy? What power is there left in a race torn between restraint and unbridled slaughter. You are not half as amusing as your Dark Kin, nor half as wise as your forbears. You are pretentious, and in the end, it is you who Must be Destroyed, not us. Badb looked at the thing before her and shrugged 'Why would I avoid speaking it's name when Ranisath slew it. That worm is gone, it is no more. why would I fear Yngir when I have spoken to them and traded insults, as well as knowledge. I told others in this place we are not the despondent, defeated. Do not mistake us for the mourner's of the past.'
Looking around her she smiled 'My busisness here is concluded I feel, it is time for me to leave at last. You are as I expected, nothing more. Such a shame, I hoped for something new, to learn something, to see a new facet of Chaos, but no I saw fools and pawns. Still as an honoured guest I should give you a gift do you not think. So I shall make you a promise, if we should ever meet again your death will be quick, you won't feel a thing.' Her Laugh at the end of the statement was cold and mocking.
The threat hanging in the air was tangable. although perhaps misunderstood, it was not the threat of killing her that Badb was making rather the fact it would be quick and painless. With no emotion to go with the death, no feeling... It was a promise of emptiness.
With that she turned and strode towards the exit from the room, her posture straight and proud. She walked as through out for a strool in the garden and cared not for who watched her.

"If that is right, then you would already know what data we are willing to hand over regarding a certain alliance," replied Cedric, "but, as I have never seen someone able to accurately predict more than a few moments ahead, I'll tell you anyways. It is in relation to the E.S.U.S.-G.F.F.A. War."

I only bring my sight to matters of importance, thus we dwell little on the affairs of the Seaquestrians. If you want to prostitute your findings, then tell me what they are and perhaps I shall direct you to someone who actually cares. What you can do...Is seal our bargain with the location of the Seaquestrian home galaxy...If your Master wishes me to aid him, he need but indicate that, and my aid shall be his. But as equals. He sipped his wine, sighing softly. "Imbued with the essence of captured slaves and prisoners, much like the combat drugs we fashion from the weak imperfection of their flesh. I can almost taste their blood memories, almost drown in the...Fruit of their souls."

Cedric's mouth twitched slightly with an unidentifiable emotion.
Finishing his drink, he said, "Like I said before, you'll have to take that up with Phobos himself.
"And for your information, I am not Alteran. Very few in Shadow SeaQuest in fact. I may be many things, but I'm not Alteran.
"As for the information I was offering, as you apparently do not desire the knowledge we took from SeaQuest when we left and what we have gathered on the G.F.F.A. since, I'll take it with me. Perhaps another E.S.U.S. member would like to know what we know about defenses and fleet positions of those G.F.F.A. nations we've learned such matters about.
"And the war is our concern. It will affect the balance of power in this universe. Something that will affect every nation, be they involved or not. Plus, a few of us still have personnal matters to attend to with some of them."
OOC: Always asking for the one thing I can't give, eh? You'll learn where it is soon enough, but when I decide it would make for a good RP, not just because you tried to weasle it out of me. A'right?

"In war defences are constantly shifting, your information would be out of date and useless, and that which we do desire, you shy from. I doubt you can aid me in any way which truly matters, save furthering your own ends.
What use is balance when Chaos will inevitably overthrow the established Order? What use is a system that will eventually fall and shatter by the will of the blackest Gods? The Oldest Gods, given their form from the conflict and weakness of all life?
What part do you truly think you play in the cosmic balance? You are the bastard siblings of a forsaken nation, a nation that vainly rallies other to its banner seeking strength, and you do the same to me, offering me scraps and ruined shards of knowledge, denying me what I should know; what knowledge should be mine! OOC: All good things to he who waits. I'm working on a little story that involves all three of my linked SeaQuests and requires they all be around to see the end.
IC: "I'm talking planetary defenses of the stationary kind," Cedric began, "Particularly of those traitors of the Solarian League. They have shown that they are amoung the weak with their failure at Kuat. Thus, they no longer have the right to existance any longer.
"I'm aware you already know the location of the capital planet of that traitorous colony of Mini Mehiem. Thus why we are willing to provide what we know about their stationary defenses. The primary underwater one in particular that they have in the bay near the capital city. Something I'm sure you probably know about from your representative's visit to that planet.
"As for their offensive technology, we've already got what we need to know to begin to develop countermeasures," he let a cold half-smile appear on his face, "which, for the right price, we can share.
"As for your assumption, Shadow SeaQuest plays the part the Fates lay out for us. Nothing more and nothing less. If the darkness is to fully consume the light, the nations of darkness must put aside their differences and work together to accomplish the ultimate goal of the shadow. Once it is over, we can go our seperate ways and take what we want from the spoils."

"The Solarien League is a former colony of the Miehmish. One that has prooven its weakness and refusal to allow its colonizing nation its rightful place as ruler," responded Cedric, "The weak should perish so as to remove their blightful stain from the fabric of the universe. While the others were fools to follow them into Kuat, the blame for the failure falls solely on the Solarien League's shoulders," the slight twinge returned for a moment, "And Prince Phobos simply asked you to dine with him. I mentioned nothing about us needing aide of any sort.
"As for your threat of showing the recording of this conversation with the G.F.F.A., I wonder how your allies in the E.S.U.S. will like you conspiring with the enemy. Not only that, but it would hurt your own goals in causing them to change from our last intel. And, you are forgetting that Shadow SeaQuest was never a part of the G.F.F.A. and thus isn't betraying them. We are only offering you our intel that we've gathered on them through various sources. Most of which involved the nation in question itself, if you must know. We have our ways of blending in," the slight twinge of the facial muscles flickered for a third time, "I'm surprised you are unwilling to take advantage of this advantage.
"I'm sure we both have our own reasons, nation-wise, for wanting the Solarien's gone, however you are in a better position to accomplish it from, Emperor, than we are at this point in time. Plus, as this is a war between the G.F.F.A. and the E.S.U.S., and we are a part of neither, we can't get involved directly without chancing the ire of both."
He blinked at the curtsey comment as a slight snarl flashed across his face for an instant.
"Your attempts at provoking me won't work. I don't know if this is some form of test, or you are just trying to get a rise out of me, but I can assure you, you'll have to do better than that.
"Now, personally, I could care less about your ultimate goals of bringing all humanity under your banner. It doesn't concern me and I don't plan on getting involved. I'm only trying to further the penultimate goal of all dark nations of subverting the light and allowing the glorious shadow to overrun reality."

"Then our goals are not as one. You won't even bow and acknowledge the simple fact that you stand in the presence of your better. The Solari and the Miehmish mean nothing to me, indeed both have aided us in times long past, and while it is regrettable that affairs have come to this....Well, its hardly we who are waging direct war upon them."
Remiel chuckled lightly. "As to your idea that my informing the GFFA of you and your kinds intents would be treason....Well, I somehow doubt that. You obviously obtained this information through your cousins before their well-deserved expulsion, and as a result I'm sure the Federation would be rather intent on stopping such leaks. That and anything that occupies the Federation during this war, such as a vengeance quest against you, would only serve to further divide them.
You truly have no strategic will, do you? I need merely provide them notice that any form of hated Seaquestrian had betrayed them, and doubtlessly it shall rile them, and shock them. Are you really foolish enough to take the risk that they believe me?"
"You did however, make a rather interesting point. This is a war between the Federation and the ESUS, and you shouldn't get involved, because even attempting to meddle shall ensure that I bring their eyes and their ire upon both you and the rest of your misbegotten race.
I have said all that I shall say, I have told you what you and your Master must do to ensure my aid comes to them....Now....Get out of my sight."
Remiel gestures and the teleportation array gleams with raw energy once again. The warp permeats the chamber in a single stinking crackle of power, and the Seaquestrian is gone, leaving Remiel, tapping his finger lightly against the table.
"I wonder how that will turn out..." He laughed gently, making sure that every detail of the Shadow Seaquestrian offer was perfectly recorded.

"Our information comes from intel gathered from the nations in question themselves," replied Cedric, "and how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not Alteran. What I am is far better than such a weak species.
"As for your insistance on being my better, that is a matter of rank and position. You lead your nation, and I only work for mine. Still, I find more pleasure in what I do than I would in the tedius task of running an Empire, your highness."
He paused as if he was listening(sp?) to something else before continuing.
"It seems that you no longer require our intel. With your hooks in Neo Zeta, you can get all you need from there."
As the over-reacting and emotional Chronosian teleported Cedric from the chamber, without the chance to retrieve his glass, Cedric mused on what he had learned from the encounter. Remiel had been pushed as far as was apparently safe, for now. He grinned in the knowledge that if the Chronosian's did indee send the G.F.F.A. a copy of the recording, it would truthfully be serving Shadow SeaQuest's interests.
As one of the most powerful Dark Paradine serving Phobos, Cedric was secure in the knowledge that his work thus far would promote the growth of darkness throught the realities.

Remiel had kept his calm throughout the situation much as the wretched Seaquestrian had tested his patience, he had served as little more than an amusement. He had truly thought the Imperium could be bought with Information? With scraps of data about nations that barely even concerned them? Pah! The little snivelling wretch knew nothing that could have given Remiel any decent advantage, and was loathe to reveal anything else about what his pathetic Master, Phobos, could offer. In the end, he had proved like all his foul get, arrogant and overcompensating. They truly thought themselves important.
Instead, they would serve Remiel.
Gazing into the scrying crystals, he made notations of who conversational copies would be made for, he let his mind drift for a moment within the possibilities of all that could be, and each time he ensured that he watched both fawning halves of the Seaquestrian Empire fall into ashes. It was a subtle process that would begin with the fall of the Zetans, and spiral, uncontrollable, into a Daemonic might that would burn clean whole facets of the Universe.
He chuckled softly. Already each part of the plan was making itself known, each puppet dancing upon the strings of their own convictions. They were all simply pawns, they had simply failed to notice it. Smiling, ready to welcome the next delegate, a true equal at last, one who would understand all that he sought to accomplish, not pursue his own vague, ultimately foolish ends.
Remiel invoked the projection that acted as the vector to communication with the Balroggans.

Nhur-Galladu watched the Eldar walk from the room as if she wanted to run but was trying to make a show of it. He could tell better. She had obviously came here to make a statement and didn’t really consider who would be there or that anyone would have the courage to debate the point she was going to make. She had let her pride and prejudice carry her through the ordeal that only opened her to rebuttal by her hosts.
Mhur-Galladu couldn’t help chuckling as she left the room. It seemed quite comical to him. He turned to return to where he was talking with Tashreh but he felt a stirring at the edge of his mind. Someone was seeking him out but his shields were keeping the communication from connecting, only registering as an attempt. He concentrated upon the connection with a fragment of his mind carefully checking to be sure somebody wasn’t trying to probe or attack him.
After a moment he was able to identify Remiel’s aura and allowed the connection to pass through, initiating contact.

OOC nah it's okay, I mean it does look like I had left end of story but I had kept meself just inside the station just incase anyone wanted to interupt her leaving. now I can leave fully I think.
ICly
It was done, all in all Badb was disappointed, the station was not what she had needed or wanted to look at, it was of no use to her. Still it had had other uses to her, especially in viewing a few unknown lesser beings. she found their response to her amusing, they honestly felt she was fleeing with her tail between her legs. nothing could be further from the truth. she suspected they also misunderstood her prpose in coming here...
Typical of the Mon-keigh they would doubtless think they where the purpose of her visit instead of a minor distraction. Yes she had hoped to spread some unease amongest the pawns but it would have been a bonus only, she had failed through. She knew that, but it was no great loss, the workings of this agent of the ruinous powers where a minor distraction at best for the people of Tor Yvresse. Of far greater import was what was occuring elsewhere. The removal of the threat of the outsider for example would impact the Yvresse greatly. Following as it did on the heels of the destruction of the Nightbringer, she found it amusing that the ancient war would end this way.
Not at the hands of the Old Ones, or even somehow by their hand or that of the Slaan, or even the Krorks, but by a Yngir that had found it's way to seek redemption. While other Yngir still lingered, they where a minor matter now.
The doings of this agent of the Ruinous powers might one day be one of those matters, but not yet. Still she had seen, she had witnessed, and she had recorded their doings. In the future if the Yvresse had to look at the Runes the council would now have a context to put Chronosia in, and a context to view the others they had interacted with. While a context was not vital, one agent of the Ruinous powers was much like another afterall, it did help matters. Now she had met with a member of the race of the people of Balrogga she could place viewings of them into context, already in her mind she could see the shape of their races Rune. She felt into her belongings and pulled a small stone out, and smiled as the shape took form on it's ever shifting surface. They had been seen and now she would recognise it.
Information was the true mission and in that she had met with success, most definatly. At last she had reached her craft and with a gesture the seal opened and she began to rise in the air, before at last coming to rest within. As she stepped into the vessel streams of liquid poured down onto her, decontamiments, designed to wipe her armour clean of any taint, designed to wipe her clean of anything from the outside she might have brought with her. Even as this process began the ship expelled the air still held within it, and began to wash itself clean. For this badb had to brace herself to her the as the air was pulled from around her, fortunatly here inside her vessel she was not worried about appearance and relied on ships functions to help keep her stable.
For a mere moment she debated making the whole process loud and obviously noticable but rejected it, no need to come across as petty afterall. So only a close observer would note the air obviously being pushed out of the vessel. For a few minutes there was a complete vacumm within the craft as the decomtamination process continued and then fresh air was pulled from tanks deep within the craft.
As she stood waiting for the process to complete itself she felt satisfaction in her work. A final wave of her hand was enough to start the craft powering up for departure, and then it rose silently into the air, and left.

"Ah honor as always to welcome one of your kind upon my soil, my brother." Remiel bowed lightly, the gesture being simply that, knowing that the Balroggan would mbe gleaning much from his movements and his mind. "We come at last to you, and to the undertaking. The Campaign, as it were." He chuckled softly.
"And while it has been long since we last met, I know much of what has come to pass...Of what has come about, what has become a part of your race and draws you ever closer to us...To our shared goals. Tell me, brother...What would you ask of me, here, now?"

Nhur-Galadu looked out at the room full of guests shoveling all the food and drink they could down their gullets.
"That scene alone is worth the trip. All those dignitaries acting undignified while they are looking down on each other for the very acts they are doing themselves. If I possessed a stomach, it would almost be nauseating.”
He turned back to Remiel and began to laugh.
“The funniest was when Robert hit on the Eldar. The look on her face was great. She didn’t know whether to respond to him or be disgusted. I know her thoughts were both confused and she was actually turned on a bit by it.”

Nhur-Galladu bows to Remiel.
"And as such you are the one in command here. You have the ultimate authority over anyone within your borders. It would be wise for others to remember that. Their entitlement only applies in their own lands."
“I agree with your assessment of the SSQ. I don’t trust them and they seem to have their own agendas. They are trying to use you to further their own means. Keep in mind, I have not scanned them out of respect to you so these opinions are all based off observations and instinct.”

OOC: I almost forgot about this thread. Now to post what Cedric and Wuya do now.
IC: While Wuya discretly readied the Al'Kesh for depature, Cedric slipped between the shadows of the main chamber, a mere wraith of darkness to the untrained eye, as he studied the other guests of the Chronosians. He knew that to facilitate the plans of the Abyss, he needed to find those few worthy to take part in the training of the Dark Paradine. These non-native Shadow SeaQuestians would be, while they would as powerful as true Dark Paradines born to their gifts, let alone one of the elite Avatars of the Abyss, they would still be quite potent forces for the goals of darkness.

We have not lived for countless millennia by the grace of the Gods simply to let some brazen upstarts think themselves better." He chuckled softly, sipping again at his wine "Regardless, I shall meet with their Lord Phobos. I shall divine exactly what he wishes, and should it serve my best interests, aid him in so far as it results in the utter destruction of the Seaquestrian filth.
Too long has their morbidly arrogant taint went unpunished. Those who dwell here shall know their place, or be swiftly put in it. My eyes and auguries are everywhere, making sure that each obeys his role in this grand game that we gather to play."

"He is lucky he isn't in my court. That would be enough to have him banished, whatever's left of his mind after the Inquisitors were done."

John Archer continued to sample foods and beverages, glancing about the room. The Eldar and her shocking arrogance had come and gone, and he now contented himself by watching the SeaQuestian try to hide in the shadows.
"...And Lord Vercin spoke to the gathered peoples, invoking a curse apon his false brother's house and lands unto the tenth generation of his line. And there was a pox apon the land. The traitor's line cursed his name, and the people from all around shunned them and their children. For such was the lot of a traitor of the blood."
This silent intonation echoed though his head, a religious lesson from long ago. The disdain dripped from his eyes, his pose, his entire being. Their kind is a disease. Maybe Lord Remiel would enjoy a joint crusade against their existance? Altera would make a good mining planet...
John's eyes rotated to seek other familiar faces, landing on President Rob. Ah yes, the Fedral Union. I wonder what they are planning with the Imperium. Time shall tell...
He wandered towards the crowd, seeking someone to strike up conversation with. Amid the masses of sentients, there must be someone willing to idly converse.

OOC: He's not hiding in the shadows. Cedric is becoming one with the shadows and 'jumping' from one to another. Its a Dark Paradine thing.
Oh, and Bal, I assure you that Cedric is no push-over in neither the mental nor physical departments. Though, if that was just some IC posturing, its a'right.
IC: Cedric noted Archer's attempts at following his movements with some wry amusement. With a slight scowl as he recalled the Chronosian's smug arrogance. He knew that, in time, it would end badly for such people. Like the Alterans of old, they would fall. If the Chronosians didn't watch it, their assumed superiority would be their downfall as it had been that of far more races than present history recorded. The enternal conflict between the light of the Nebula and the dark of the Abyss had spanned countless incarnations of history and would continue for more cycles of time.
The Balroggan's mental touch was also not that hard to miss. Careful to not reveal his true strength, he sent his own back. The Balroggan wouldn't feel threatened, but he would have the metaphorical hairs stand on his neck in a 'I know your there' gut feeling type message. The Dark Paradine were not a people to mess with.
Spotting the Federal Union president, Cedric deftly moved towards him.
Wuya, on the other hand, had reappeared in the chamber. Stepping out of the shadows near the Inferno representative in an outfit that was quite flattering to her figure, she noted his unconcealed mental plans for Altera.
Passing by him, she whispered, "I'm afraid you'll find that world is already no more."
She then continued walking by and waited to see how he would respond.

Remiel tasted the thoughts of the Inferno diplomat as easily as he sipped at the wine, his elegant lips twisting into a cruel smile, before he turned back towards the Balroggan. "They already curry the hatred of those around them like favors. I think if they don't watch their step they are all but doomed to a fall. The key is not to destroy the fly in ones ointment...No. In good time, a fly will draw spiders. And when the spiders feast, one can track them back to their webs, and burn them to ashes.
They think they can see the true path of the universe, even so far as to question my vision. You know better, my friend, you have tasted what the Warp can offer. Tasted its promise. This universe feeds them, my Gods...They dwell in the spiritual shadow of this realm and yearn to touch the Immaterium. I am the hand that shall cleave the stars to ashes, I am the voice that shall set worlds aflame with sheer desire. And while my plans ferment, I will seek to further the smaller quirks of fate. The labyrinthian interpretations of mankind's destiny." Fingers like chill marble reach for another bottle, a black liquid sloshing within. Carefully, they raise it to be admired, smelt, its essence sampled. Remiel pours himself a glass of black absinthe and smiles lightly, the surface crackling into flame as he drops a cube of sugar into it, flames fanned by his will alone.
He watches for a moment as the warpfire teases over the black alcoholic sea, dying away as he raises it to his lips, downing it swiftly, sighing lightly at the stinging sensation. "One way or another, they shall serve their purpose. Their interactions serve only to further vendettas and fuel new fires. The Unionist, for example. He need merely be nudged and his hatred of the Seaquestrians and all their ilk shall flare...."

“Ah yes, I remember the Immaterium well. It seems like we left it only a few millennium ago. How time flies when you are having fun, to steal an old Terran phrase. It’s energies are still very much part of our heritage, as well as several others we discovered through the Eons.”
“But you are right about leaving the flies to buzz around. They will distract those who are easily amused and give direction to those who are with our long term plans. You are right about the Unionists. They harbor a distinct hatred of them and they are not the only ones willing to prune that family tree. I know of several of their old allies who would desire the same outcome.”
Nhur-Galladu watched him pour his glass of ebon liqueur. The flames reminded him of many of the hunts he had participated in before they ventured into the Materium. He sometimes missed those days. The daemons fleeing before their might. The relentless slaughter of Hordes leaving a single survivor to carry word to other of their infernal ilk.
“If I could still drink, I would join you. Instead, I will offer a toast.”
Nhur-Galladu conjured another glass for himself and held high. He waited for Remiel to refill his before continuing.
“To the glory days, past, present, and of those yet to come.”
Nhur-Galladu drained his illusionary glass.

"It would not grieve me a bit to see such a world gone from this universe. However, I require proof of such unsubstantiated claims." Archer was unmoved by the apperance of the Alteran. Shoving past her, he continued on a steady pace into the center.
However, he paused for a second, turning back to Wuya. He smirked and looked her up and down. "Oh, and would you please get your conspicuous shadow-jumping friend to conjuer you some new clothing? Your current set resembles several of the lowest red-light districts in the Inferno. Quite unbecoming of a diplomat."
Yes sir, I bite my thumb at you sir.

OOC: Dark Paradine, not Alteran. Different species.
Like I mentioned to Chrono in another thread, I'm switching to a more NS-approved tech base than my old ST one, so I had to work in an IC reason why this was so. Thus, a majority of SQ's population and fleet vanished from time and space. I've not decided how yet, but the best idea I've got as to what happened is that all three of SQ's worlds (the homeworlds for all three of my original species) along with everyone and everything in the star systems with them at the time are now frozen between seconds. Do to the lack of understanding of what happened, those areas have been declared no-fly zones by the Nebula of the light SeaQuest DSV and the Abyss of the dark Shadow SeaQuest (one of only a handful delegated due to necessisty(sp?)). SQian survivors are scattered between the other two SQs and a few back-water planets. 75% of the national population and pretty much ever ship not abroad is gone now. This has been your OOC confirmation.
IC: Wuya replied, "I wear what I wish when I wish. I care not what you think of it.
"As for the world of Altera, no one's going to be violating the no-fly zone. Until we know what happened, would you prefer to risk your people if what happened happens again and they vanish from existance as well?"

"To all the glories we have wrought, to all those we shall write into the pages of history. To the alliance between our peoples, to a black sun and a burning sky. We offer you peace and sanctuary amongst our people, in these dark times, these seasons of dire subterfuge and deceit. Of war and war-like victory. To the Warp, Hunter and Hunted." He smiled softly, almost relaxed before one he considered as a friend, perhaps even an equal.
"Look at them; even now...Its almost too amusing to watch. The bickering, fermenting new and old hatreds. I almost expect an incident like their other half provoked with the Solari. You remember? Jumping at the shadows of a Primarch, I almost wept when I heard of it, tears of laughter. Is the universe so reduced that these are the best it can conjure?
I remember when the Sith stained the galaxies red with the blood of countless, when worlds fell beneath the shadows of Imperial fleets and all the known cosmos trembled in our wake. Those were glory days, days long lost to us now, a golden age dead in footsteps of these whelps...These usurpers."
