It was a day like any other on TranSen, the sun rose and with it the entire population of the planet arose with it. Millions began moving in and out of the tall crystalline structures that permiated the entire world.
However, today the continual movement will be interrupted.
In orbit, on the TranSeni Defence Core Flagship Hand of Eternity a group of meditating priests reaching out into the universe felt something... it was about 2 lightyears away from them. As a whole, the ship came to life to investigate what they've found.

The 12th Patrol detachment force was on patrol meanwhile in the Polaris IV sector just inside federal space.
The lead ship of the rather small detachment was the USS Charles F Addams, it was a 1.2 km guided destroyer, and it was dark grey, the sleek light of the space around it shined around the hull.
Mean while on the some what medium sized bridge, people rushed around working on there holo consoles, taping buttons and working with AI’s.
The con officer looked to the rather busy console, the PSI Sensors were going wild as they swept through one sector a few light years out of Federal Space, the young man blinked a little and looked up to the commander who was standing over him, the commander was younger than the con officer around 22, his black hair brown eyes and white skin stood out.
The con officer spoke and said “Sir, we seem to be detecting huge amounts of PSI activity from a cluster of stars, rather interesting to since there was no indication of life in earlier expeditions…”
The commander nodded and responded “I see that, well it seems we have to go check it out, there isn’t much action out here..” He looked over to his helm officer and said “Helm set a direct course to the center of that cluster, tell the detachment to follow”
With in Seconds the small fleet jumped out in glorious bolts of light, white and blue engulfed the ships as they instantly flew in to the system, jumping out quickly.
The Charles F Addams stood in front of the 10 ship formation looking deep in to the system.
The con officer looked at several holographic consoles, as one of the AIs spoke “Commander, I am detecting life on one of the planets, and several orbital facilities and objects, they could be ships or stations.”
The commander blinked and looked down saying “Well open up a hailing frequency..”
The con officer tapped a console quickly and surely opening up a channel.
The commander spoke “This is commander Charles Shepard of the USS Charles F Addams, from the federal union, we have detected your presence and come to let you know that we are here as well, we also wish to seek peaceful contact with your race, we will not penetrate further in to your home system, unless we are invited to.”

The Hand of Eternity exited it's small warp jump about 500 Kilometers before the small squadren. It's small (450 meter) size was offset by the sleek lines of the ship, even standing still it looked like it was going about warp 3. A quick inspection showed more manuvering engines then engines... and ALL of them are on gimble heads.
[Transmission] "We are the Psionic Collective of TranSenia. You are welcome in our space as honored guests. Be warned, if you come with hostile intent, we will be forced to integrate you. If you come with peaceful intent, a feast in your honor is already being prepared at our capital, and we would like to hear more of this... Federal Union of yours."
