Trillion Military Contract Up for Grabs

National Commonwealth

Secretary General Bardai sat pensively in his swivel chair facing away from his wide desk, burdend with numerous papers and documents, staring out onto the beautiful federal gardens.

"We need new solutions," he thought to himself.

"It's time we did things the simple way. The beauracrats handle the red tape; we handle the guns that get them out of office."

He swiftly turned toward the desk and gently tapped the now lit 'send' button integrated into his mahogany grain desk; the computer display indicating that the procurement funds were in place and that the announcment had been sent succesfully.

The Republic of National Commonwealth (PFRNC)

Verum, RNC Federal District 14556

Statement: Recently, the Accenturium of National Commonwealth passed a massive military preparedness bill that charges the Department of Armament with the task of modernizing and refurbishing the republic's fast aging military force in order to facilitate a quick reintroduction to the world stage and international diplomacy . The republic is looking for commonality, cutting edge solutions, value, and efficiency.

Consequently, the Dept. of Armament prefers a more simple approach - instead of awarding multiple contracts to numerous companies, the department plans to award a single contract worth approximately ƒ3.12 trillion Banc-Securities Marks ($6 trillion) to one company that merits its business. The secretary general will then and hence forth, work exclusively with this company to modernize every aspect of the PFRNC armed forces from inter-planetary to intra-planetary defenses on a wide range of platforms and technologies. Any interest is greatly appreciated.

Please indicate what type of packages you can deliver for air, ground, sea and/or space if you believe it will better represent your business(es) and help us to make a more sound decision, although this is not required.

Thank you

To General Secretary Bardai, Department of Armament, PFRNC -
The various corporations of The Beltway are assembling a joint package for you; however, it will not be finalized for some time. How pressing is your need for this contract? In other words, is this something you need to get done immediately, or do we have some time on our hands? This will determine whether or not we place a bid...
Sincerely,
Michael Busch, Commerce Minister of the Republic of The Beltway, on behalf of Baltimore Shipyards, Gage Munitions, Martin Avionics, Lockheed Corporation, General Dynamics, and Electric Boat

OOC: NC, just for your better health of your nation's armed forces, I would advise giving out seperate contracts for stuff. Having one big company supply your entire armed forces is not a wise idea. You might find a company excelling in one place while lacking to another in a different place. I suggest breaking it down into different contracts like MBTs, fighters, carriers, battleships, bombers, APCs, and such.
