Over the past weeks, several news sources across the galaxy have noticed a large mobilization of the Imperial Navy to the borders of the Gamma-Septimus system, a small string of planets around a central star. The Septimus system was once a province of the Interstellar Reich until it rebelled over fifty years ago, and lacking the means to re-take the system, The Reich abandoned it.

Many believe this is a sign Tocrowkia is preparing to retake Septimus by force. Lack of comment by the Reich’s highest officials, Emperor Mikel Emmerich included seems to confirm this. Meanwhile, the citizens of Septimus are sending out messages across the universe, apparently asking assistance from another interstellar power to help them protect their sovereignty, if Tocrowkia does indeed invade.

It knew that power was gathering, along the lattice. It felt power streaming to one spot, in the form of metal, and energy. It did not know why, nor did it care. That part of the lattice, was far/distance away, enough to render any attack on its home and children impotent. It felt carefully along the lattice, however, and pressed against the hardness in the lattice, the knot of pure reality. It was strange. Two energies opposing each other, each in their own way. It returned the part of the mind/sentience that had 'seen', to spinning once more. It was of not importance to it.
