I am a new nation called Pharonic Egypt, a nation based on Ancient Egypt. I don't know whether my nation will be in past tech or modern tech as of yet. My nation's leader is Pharoah Zazamoukh XII (I may change his name as I am researching Egypt's Pharonic periods). If anyone would wish to be my nation's friend or ally, just ask me. What are tech levels by the way? I only saw that other nations were using past and modern techs which was why I mentioned them earlier here. Can someone help me with NationStates and all this? Thank you for your time in reading this.

The common tech levels are Past Tech(PT, aprox before say the 1980s), Modern Tech(MT, aprox 1980s - 2010), Post Modern Tech(PMT, aprox 2010 - 2050) and Future Tech(FT, anywhere from Star Wars/Trek to Warhammer 40,000 to Andromeda to Stargate)

ooc: It's quite common for a nation to RP in multiple tech levels. I have Rped in FT, MT, PMT, PT, as well Alt-history and Fantasy all with the same nation, just altered slightly to fit the situation. A nation I know utilizes limited magic in combination with FT for his nation.

As for your questio nthere, NationStates is basically you just running a country. Get involved in world affairs, get in wars, start a civil war, sell to both sides of a war, do whatever you want!

We would like to propose an embassy exchange between our nations, should you be ammenable to such a proposal. We propose that the Ambassadors, as well as members of technical and administrative staff, as well as family members shall be granted diplomatic immunity, with service staff being excluded. Each nation shall provide a embassy suitable for, at minimum, thirty people, at maximum, one hundred people. Also no less than ten percent of staff shall be armed, with no explosive or automatic weaponry, excluding up to three guards for the ambassador. The three guards are also held to the weapons restriction of the Embassy Guards.

Should these terms be acceptable, we look forward to possible further relations.
