Attack on the Khomeini... [Open (MT - Modern Tech) RP]

Ugoria

Cody Walther, Ugoria's powerful leader and owner, as well as the founder, stood aboard the Khomeini - Ugoria's most powerful Aircraft Carrier/Cargo/Transport Ship in the nation. The ship was so big thet thousands of troops were everywhere on the ship. Armed with AK47's, AK74's, VZ58's, AN94's - some with attached Grenade Launchers, and the seldom few with RPG's and Anti-Tank Rocket Launchers. Cody stood upon the starboard side of the deck, his RPK Assault Rifle slung over his right shoulder on a black-leather strap. His had two Tec9 MircoSMG's strapped to his waist belt. A gold Desert Eagle in a holster on his right side, inside of his black trenchcoat. Several guards, armed with AN94's, AK47's, and VZ58's, were standing around him. All of them were dressed in tan trenchcoats, as was everyone on the ship, in trenchcoats of various dark colors, wearing fur hats and ski masks to keep themselves warm. Cody could feel the ship moving along quickly through the waters. The Khomeini would reach the Ugorian Peninsula on time, as planned.

A tall, rugged, Ugorian General, General Tufayli, approached Cody...

"Sir?" General Tafayli said, drawing nearer, alerting Cody to his presence.

"Yes, General Tufayli?" Cody said in return, without even turning to so much as look at the four-star General.

"Sir, we have a problem..." He said, immediately notcing Cody's fists clenching the deck railing. "The Radar reading has pinpointed the Rebel Air Fleet, and there is alot of Airborne Assault Vehicles heading our way, fast. Apaches, Jets, and even Troop-Transport-Raiding-Helicopters." General Tufayli was getting uneasy, because no one could predict Cody's mood and reaction but Cody himself.

Cody clenched the railing tighter. "How many?" He asked. That was all he said, and unshouldered his RPK and turned and looked at General Tufayli.

General Tufayli looked at the deck floor in dismay, before looking back up into the cold eyes of his leader, Cody. "Several Hundred, over fifty-percent of them Boarding-Aircraft."

"Shit." Cody said, seething with anger inside. "Get all of our personnel to their battle stations, and get the troops ready for a raiding attack."

General Tufayli nodded, "Yes sir, right away" Turned, and ran to alert the personnel who had not become aware yet.

Cody ran along down the deck, loading his RPK in the meantime, and went small "Hangar". His guards filed inside behind him, and Cody manned an intercom. He pushed in a small button, turning on the Air-Raid Sirens of the ship, and immediately the entire ship seemed to be crawling with troops, ship personnel, and other important persons, swarming like a bee hive.

"All personnel, this is not a drill. Man your battle stations, I repeat, this is not a drill! Imminent danger, air raid, air raid, proceed to your battle stations. I Repeat: THIS IS NOT A FUCKING DRILL!" Cody pressed off the intercom, and ran to a computer. He typed into the keyboard, and immediately he came in contact with surrounding countries and nations.

The message was sent. It read...

[This is Cody Walther, the Leader and Founder of The Empire of Ugoria. I am aboard the ship Khomeini in Ugorian waters, and we are under and imminent danger air raid, lots of boarding craft and assault craft are heading our way, and we are in need of immediate reinforcements. This is a distress call from the Khomeini]

Cody only hoped someone would get the message, and come to their aid. Before it was too late...

President Copeland was playing drinking games with his cabinet members when he received an urgent message that demanded immediate military action. The message had been pre-analyzed and annotated by some unimportant secretary before it was sent to Copeland. Noting the big, bold letters that the secretary had put at the top reading "Naval Military Action Requested", Copeland gave another copy of the message to Admiral Amherst, who happened to be on the ski retreat with him. After reading the plea from Cody Walther, the two decided to have an enlightening discussion.

"This is the stupidest thing I've ever read," informed Copeland. "Remind me to fire whoever sent this 'urgent message' to us." A vein pulsed in his forehead and the President was clearly distraught.

"No, I think military action needs to be taken," said the Admiral.

"Why? We do not have significant enough evidence to invade Ugoria. I would like to, but we would face international sanctions for sure." President Copeland took another swig of his whiskey.

"What are you saying?" inquired Amherst incredulously. "Why do you want to attack him? I was suggesting that we should help him out."

"Did you read the name of his ship? The Khomeini!" Copeland threw his arms up in the air in hopes that it would convince the Admiral of the viability of his point.

"So?"

"That sounds like a towelhead terrorist name to me."

"But look at the name of their leader. 'Cody Walthers' does not sound Muslim at all. I think the name of the ship is just a coincidence. We happen to have two Carrier Battlegroups on drills that are close enough to provide aid. If we help this guy out, we may have a new ally."

"Fine. You're the head navy guy, not me."

"I will tell Pritchard about it."

"You always give him all the hard work. If you weren't so great a guy, I would fire you."

"Well, I've been having too much to drink. Don't blame me." said Amherst. Copeland nodded in understanding. Amherst quickly added, "and if this guy does turn out to be a terrorist, I will eat my words."

Towering above the ocean waves was the Zandic, an imposing supercarrier of the Gigasanic class. Aboard it, Vice Admiral Pritchard was planning out the next week's drill schedule. He received the message from Admiral Amherst stating that he was to find out what was attacking these people and plan an effective counter for it. The Vice Admiral always got all the hard work. He sent a transmission to the Khomeini, asking for some more information.

To: Cody Walthers
From: Vice Admiral Pritchard, Chitzeland Navy, The People's Democratic Republic of Chitzeland

We hear your request and are pledging to help. I can tell you are in distress because of the brevity of your synopsis of the situation, but I must inquire as to your position and your forces, as well as the position, forces, and allegiance of your enemies. We need this information in order to know how much reinforcements to send and what kind of reinforcements to send. I would like to work directly with your military leaders in orchestrating this operation.

President Copeland wishes to discuss diplomatic matters after this incident has passed.
