This is an alternate timeline scenario

The years of economic depression and wars have ravaged America. The great American Empire has begun to crumble. The geat cities shine no more. The capiatl has grown dark. The Iraq war spread throughout the Middile East, seeing terrorism grow. The economy is in shambles, unemployment was sky-rocketed. The immigration dispute with Mexico led to the U.S. military to occupy portions of northern Mexico. The wolrd community retaliated by imposing econimic sanctions, crippling the economy further. China replaced the United States as the dominate force in the world. It's ecoinomy and military greater than America's. U.S./ Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear plants led to further disruption. Protests, corruption, and a seperatist movement, riots, natural disasters threaten to rip America apart. The oil crisis has also brought pain on the economy. The promise of alternate fuel came too late as corrupt corporations began to take over more and more.

What will you do? Will you be a foreign invader, a terrorist, and anarchist? Or will you try and rebuild this nation? The choice is yours. The fate of the world may depend on wether or not America falls.

OCC: This rp takes place several years in the future. As the U.S. begins to crumble. There's near endless posibilities. As always, no godmodding. You can be just about anything but here are a few types I thought of:

Here's mine - Rita, rather than doing squat despite being a Cat. 5 hurricane, ruins the West Texas coast and do further damage to New Orleans, thus removing all Mississippi river traffic for a while. Combine that with large-scale terrorist bombings against oilfields in the MidEast and a larger insurgency in Nigeria, along with civil war in Venezuela, and you got yourself an American economy on the verge of collapse...

The USA has splintered to the point that individual states had to band together to survive. There are now groups of states banded together into regions of 3-4 states per region. An example would be Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming together as one region. Montana, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington as a region, and California, Nevada, and Arizona as a region. Texas has declared itself a Republic ( seperatist ) and has annexed New Mexico, Oklahoma, and all territory to the western bank of the Mississippi River.

I would rule that area as basically a powerless head of state. My capital would be Salt Lake City. Also their would be an on-going conflict with the Pacific states which would be more anarcho-green.

Louisiana: all land east to I-49, north to Shreveport/AR border, south along Gulf of Mexico to Hwy. 90 down to Bayou Cane.

Texas has built the Tejas Defense Line along the border w/Mexico. Similar to Berlin Wall. Texas in process of invading/annexing east coast of Mexico ( Gulf shoreline ) eventually taking control of entire Mexican Gulf Coast down to Guatemala and west across to Pacific Ocean.

It's not much more green than the U.S. currently is and deffinately not communist. It's far more socialist than practiced Fascism, more like theorised Fascism. Not as totalitarian, living by a policy of allowing people to do what they wanted behind closed doors.

They used to live in Florida until a hurricane came and they lost everything they had. After many months of traveling, the 3 people finally made it to Pittsburgh where Rebecca had family. However when she got there, everyone had fled, and the house was distroyed. Rebecca and her children tried to rebuild, however with David only being 6 he couldn't do much so in time it was Rebecca and Maria.

Nope, I'm Russia. It's now the USSR with a much better economy now though. I've made it back under the same system.
