A supply truck pulled up to the base. As the gates opened, and the truck was partially through, heavy fire opened up from either side, killing the driver in the truck, as well as the guards in several towers.

Colonel Richardson, the squad leader, lead his men out of cover. The truck made the gates impossible to close, and the men went over and around it, making it past the walls, and driving their way to the center of the base.

OOC: I'm back.

"Well, I have some pretty secret information of all of the sectret airbases in KooleKoggle. There's 5 of them and they're massive. Sometimes I wonder how we even pay for all of this stuff. The military is the highest priority on the tax scale. And the economy is massive. But man all of our secret bases are huge. And they're secret. That takes a lot more funding.

OOC: Deficit spending? Actually, this is more than a bad joke. If the current government is in debt to a business or other country, how are they going the react to outside forces toppling that government?

The glonk bridge, one of the biggest military dridges in KooleKoole, was heavily gaurded. At the time, it was a coffee break for half of the people gaurding it. But, still a few people had to keep watch. The man in the radar/watch tower was half aslepp when he heard a strange noise. He looked at the radar and saw several shapes heading right towards the base. Alarms sounded across the bridge. People ran to their gun station, forgetting about their coffee. It was quite foggy out though, and visibility was at the minimum. A plane could be right above and they wouldn't see it. That's when they heard the sound. The sound every man fears. Thw whistles of bombs flying to earth. People ran as fast as they could towards the ends of the bridge. Men were scrambling for tyheir life, but it would be in vain. The bridge exploded just seconds later, leaving only debris of a once magnificent bridge.

This was occuring across the nation. All bridges were being destroyed. Signs of an imminent invasion.

"Ha!" the pilots radioed to each other. "Mission complete Command. No way to get from west to east now."

"Good work Pilots. Return to base. You have flown an excellent mission."

The pilots flew back to the carrier to refuel, then straight back to the Pythogrian mainland.

Colonel Richardson searched one of the dead bodies in the inner compound, as his men did the same with various other bodies. He pocketed ammunition, some ration bars, and finally, found a paper. The paper read, 'As soon as resupply complete, ordered to attack General Goplis's position.'

"Who has the radio?" Shouted Richardson, "I need contact with base now!"

The air base had just been ordered to put all their planes underground. They all thought that Fregal had no idea what he was doing as a military leader. He had just ordered them to get all planes ready the day before. Now he was telling them to put them away.

Only about half of the planes were in their positions in the undergroud hangars when all sirens started wailing. Now they started to understand why they were loading it up. The seargant ran out to the command post and turned the speakers on.

"There is a formation of bombers en route to our position. I want seven dog fighters up in the air now! These are heavy bombers and won't be able to fight back hard. I want all of our bombers and a quar terput away now. They are a priority. Then I want the entire place evacuated. Do it now. Why aren't my planes in the air yet? Get moving!"

Seven fighters taxi to the run way. They all start taking off in formation. They fly off into the sky after the bombers. The squad leader came on the radio.

"Okay I have visual of targets. I repeat, visual is established. Go to formation Foxtail now! Come on boys, let's give 'em hell!"

However, the cargo bays of the bombers opened, and bombs started pouring out.

"Men, do not leave formation. We take them out, and Echo, you radio in that their payload has been dropped."

Then they opened fire.

"Sir, we've just been told that the bombers managed to drop their payload. What should we do?"

The seargant looked out at the base, then back at the radioman. Since the pilots took off, only about twenty planes had been loaded into the bunkers.

"Well, there's no timeto evacuate or load all of the planes. Tell them to get all planes that we can get in the air, up. I want all the rest of the negineers and maintanenece to get in the hangars and hope for the best. I don't think we'll ahve enough time to get many planes up, but we can always try."

The orders were given, and planes started to be taxid to the runways. Only three planes could take off at a time. It was the only was to save this beautiful air fleet though. All non-pilots started moving into the hangars. The seargant looked up and saw what he had hoped he wouldn't see for another few minutes. The sun was nearly blocked out by the bombs dropped. The pilots started to take off more hurriedly, but only twelve planes managed to get away before the entire base was engulfed in a massive explosion.

Metal Storm missiles fired from the back of the bombers, locking on in seconds. A plane was shot down,l and it' crew ejected and fell into forest. A recon team was sent to find them.

"Launch 24 Terrabytes. Show them the meaning of pain."

"Aye."

24 Terrabyte fighters took off from the carriers, and hunted the KooleKogglian pklanes down. Flying at Mach 2.4, they used their autocannons to great effect.

Fregal sat looking as the masses scheduled for tonights execution were beginning to be herded into the courtyard. Just then, the phone rang. He picked it up. He listened to the man on the other line for a while, then hung up before he was done speaking. He sent for his military man to come in. Just a a minute later, he walked in.

"I've just been told that all of our above-ground bases have been bombed. Only a quarter of our planes stationed at these locations made it through the blasts. I've also been told that all of our bridges leading from west to east have been destroyed. Now, why was I told this by some annonimous man in the military when you are supposed to be in charge of all of it? I'll give you a second chance though. I want you to get three armored battalions ready in all fo the cities leading to the capitol from the southern mountains. Not only will they be met by the V9 corps, but some of our finest tanks will be waiting also. If anything like this happens again, you won't be spared. Now leave me!"

OOC: I attacked many bases with ground ambushes too.

Goplis was beginning to be worried. He and his unit had been pushed bask to an area the size of one city block already. They'd been holding off these people for nearly a day now. Just after the attacks started, The High gaurd was joined by a few units of the V9 corps. His unit had consisted of nearly 30 good men, but now only he and 17 others remained. He'd lost contact with two other full units and had been told that many of the other units were taking casulties. They had to make a move forward, or they'd be stuck here waiting to be killed by these ruthless corps people. They were already running low on munitions and supplies. He had the unit leader come to him.

"Okay, I know you're going to think I'm crazy, but we need two men to go around and flank them. They cannot have any guns and they're going to have to get off their uniforms and dress as civilians. I know that they don't like civilians either, but they're at least not killing them. When they get around, they need to somehow get a hold of some sort of heavy weaponry. It's our only chance. This is going to need to be full stealth too. If they see you guys, we're hopeless."

The unit leader went off and got a couple of men prepared. After that, he had the radioman come over to him.

"I need you to get hold of the invading allies. I need them to hurry up. They're still at least a days from the slums and we're taking heavy casulties. Bombing this place can't be done as heavy numbers of civilians are still here. They need to hurry up and get here. Whatever they're doing can wait. If they don't hurry, we'll be gone. Also, tell them to bring plenty of ammunition for our remaining men, we're running low. God, I hope they come through before we're dead."

"Darn. Tell the troops to get the heck to the capital in full force."

"Yes sir."

"ALL PYTHOGRIAN TROOPS. YOU ARE TO PROCEED TO AND TAKE THE CAPITAL IMMEDIATELY."

Tanks, APCs, infantry... you name it. It all ammased for an attack on the capital.

One of the radiomen ran up to Richardson. "Sir, we've recieved word that General Goplis is pinned down and need immediate assistance."

Tanks entered, and fired at defending tanks with 120mm ETCs. HBTs followed, and used ralguns against the enemy. Enemy infantry were fired upon by Pythogrian infantry and RSTVs.

Drov looked out across the horizon He and the rest of his V9 vorps unit had been stationed in this town to defend the route to the capitol. Just a few hours before though, they were joined by three heavy armor battallions.

But now he looked out across the plain. Just then he saw enemy forces come into view. He alerted all of the rest of his unit. He didn't care for the armoreds though. They could do with the surprise. He anad his unit started planning out what to do. He and three other men kocked down the door of some poverished family and took it up as their stronghold. They tied the family up in the corner.

They started to head up to the second floor when a loud bang was heard. After that gunshots pursued heavily. He edged slowly up to the window. He just got to where he could see out of his peripheral, the enemy tanks and infantry. He signaled the rest of his men with his hand what to do. He had his RPG man come right up to the window.

He started a countoff...1....2...3. At three he busted out the window and ran back down the staitrs as the RPG man fired a rocket at the tank below. It wasn't far and there was no way he could miss. He then dropped the Launcher and ran out too. They busted out a window on the opposite side of the house as the enemies and crawled out, ran across the street, and took up another house.

"Sir," said the man manning the gun of the APC Colonel Richardson rode in, "There's a town up ahead, with heavy fighting going on. It looks like the Pythogrians and the KooleKoggians. There's tanks, the whole deal."

"All right." He barked orders to the driver, "Set the troops down on the edge of town, and then come in with us to provide support. Things are about to get pretty interesting."

ZAFT troops and Armored Divisions began to land under the cover of air and sea support

The RPG hit the XM-1 Right on top of it's armor. The tank was almost pierced, but it held.

"Sir, some moron fired an RPG at the lead tank!"

"Search them out and kill them."

"Yes sir."

RSTVs and infantry, as well as the Empire's Black Panther helicopters, searched out the RPG launchers.

In the main battle, the Pythogrians had ganed a little ground. The Exmortis heavy tanks used their three .50 caliber guns versus infantry to great effect, and main guns roared. ZT-1 infantry anti-tank missiles flew threw the air, striking the very top of enemy armor.

Athrun: this is Athrun Zala all force keep moving ETA to town?

The MFC hit the town with everything they had. Though that wasn't impressive by any standards. Before crossing out into the open, they decided to just do strafinf tactics, Head across the road at full speed while firing one shot from the cannons and 30 shots from the 50 mm turrets.

The lead took its prompt and went across the road at full speed. It fired its guns and made it across the road to the other side, protected by the houses and buildings again. They listened the entire time, but it didn't sound like they hit anything. They were firing randomly afterall.

The second then saw that the lead made it across. Ity waited five seconds and did the same procedure. They saw that the first had fired too high, and adjusted their firing to a lower point. The made it across only touched by a few heavy machine gun rounds. It sounded like they had hit something with their cannon though. They'd heard the satisfying sound of an explosion followed by the sound of metal creaking.

The third saw this and began its run.But it wasn't even halfway out into the open, when it had a complete systems malfuntion. Nothing fired, it wouldn't move, and hatch wouldn't even open to let the men escaped.

They all knew that it was hopeless. They were goners.

The same XM-1 which had had an RPG attack it now had a shell go straight through it. The crew was dead.

The General saw this.

And he was angry.

He told his troops, "The [Censored}s. Kill them. Kill them all! Only spare civillians, and take NO PRISONERS!"

"For the good of KooleKoggle and the glory of the Empire!" the troops shouted.

And thus, everything charged, aiming and firing. None would escape. The general's orders were, "kill them! Kill them all!", and thus... they would follow them.

The MFC hit the town with everything they had. The first couple of men they found, running from house to house with RPGs, were hit from six directions at once.

Several men picked up the RPGs and started firing at the KooleKogglian tanks. Somebody shouted "Glory!" And the entire group took up the cry. Colonel Richardson slapped C4 onto a tank and ran, detonating the C4 as soon as he was out of range.

The last tank which had been stranded took the shell through the middle and was completely destroyed. The other two tanks in the battalion were already planning another run. It would have to be differnt though. They were already expecting another strafing run. They called for the other battalion that had lost the patrol tank to join them.

There were three battalions in the town, each having three tanks. But those two combined made a 4 tank group. They came around and decided to split up and come in from both sides with two tanks. Two drove farther into the town so they could cross back over the road without being hit. They started to drive back towards the invaders on both flanks.

Meanwhile the V9 Unit began planning another assult on the enemies. This time they didn't have the lementof surprise, but the enemy still didn't know where they were at.

The Pythogrian infantry searching for V9 came upon a KooleKoggleian tank. They took cover, and launched missiles at it.

And to Spit Break, I'm sorry for not getting around to you very fast, but man I'm typing like none other here. I've got two towns being invaded, Goplis under fire, Fregal being a loony, and my military installments being bombed....man I'm going to have to take a quote from President Bush: "I'm working really hard. This is hard work." Oh man, that never gets old. lol.))

The V9 corps people saw the units approching the city. Everyone was alerted. This time, even the armoreds were. As the planes strafed over looking for people outside the city. The tanks fired their cannons at them. The V9 corps started taking up their positions in the houses of the people. They were ready for the armor to come in. They were more heavily armed than the corps unit in the first town, but they still loved geurilla tactics.

OOC: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm gonna assume that V9 is still shooting at the tanks in town one.

Colonel Richardson saw a RPG being fired out of a window. He motioned to several of his men, who took up positions covering all the doors in the house, and most of the windows.

"On my mark," said Richardson, preparing to kick in the door.

The V9 corps unit wa about to fire on the Pythagorian tank saw the KooleKoggle armor. The tank Pythagoria fired on took a direct hit and was destroyed instantly. Another tank was with it however and started firing back at the Pythagorian tank. It fired a missile at it and followed with continuos fire from the 50 mm heavy machine gun.

The V9 saw that it was useless to fire on the tank as it was already being pummeled. But then they saw a unit of Moanthan infantrymen searching through the houses and streets. The unit leader signaled for the sniper to come to the window. This time they opened the window ever so slightly and barely rested the gun on the window sill. The Sniper took a man standing outside of a house into the center of the sights and fired.

OOC: dont worry about it i've been in larger RP's were it took a guy a day to respond to a missile hit

OOC: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm gonna assume that V9 is still shooting at the tanks in town one.

Colonel Richardson saw a RPG being fired out of a window. He motioned to several of his men, who took up positions covering all the doors in the house, and most of the windows.

"On my mark," said Richardson, preparing to kick in the door.

((OOC: woops. I don't know what to do now. I was typing my V9 troop movement when you did this. I think I wanna go off of the post that I was typing when you did this. But if you wanna go off this one, I don't care. What do you wanna do?))

The tank attacked by machine guns was barely scratched, and delivered a shell straight at the enemy barrel. The actual shell fired hit the front armor, dented it a millimetre, and bounced.

A Pythogrian sniper saw the KooleKoggle sniper. He aimed his rifle and fired at his head.

The V9 corps unit wa about to fire on the Pythagorian tank saw the KooleKoggle armor. The tank Pythagoria fired on took a direct hit and was destroyed instantly. Another tank was with it however and started firing back at the Pythagorian tank. It fired a missile at it and followed with continuos fire from the 50 mm heavy machine gun.

The V9 saw that it was useless to fire on the tank as it was already being pummeled. But then they saw a unit of Moanthan infantrymen searching through the houses and streets. The unit leader signaled for the sniper to come to the window. This time they opened the window ever so slightly and barely rested the gun on the window sill. The Sniper took a man standing outside of a house into the center of the sights and fired.

OOC: It's okay, I'll just assume that they were in a house and saw my men preparing to go into that one. It all works. I'd let you kill Richardson with the sniper, but I need him for another RP I'm planning.

IC: The man hit by the bullet collapsed. Instantly the other men looked up at the area where the bullet had come from. Unable to determine if there were other snipers, Richardson ordered "Into the house now! At least we know they're in there!" He kicked in the door, and the men stormed the house.

The sniper fell dead. A hole going through his face. Drov looked down at him. He was a damned good sniper, but at least he managed to squeeze the shot off before being killed. But now he had to move out, they knew where they were. He broke out a window and threw a rope down for him and the remaining four of his unit to climb down and run for it.

Once they were all down, they ran into big building. It was actually a hotel, but people were holed up here for protection. This would be an excellent place for them to stay. No person in their right mind would attack this place. They'd stay here and wait for the enemy.

A group of Pythogrian infantry sighted the V9 running, and opened fire with ZA-1 assualt rifles.

Drov himself was shot by the machine guns, but it was only in the arm and he'd be fine. But another man was shot in the leg, it was pretty bad, but they knew there was an infarmary in the hotel and hey'd have him fixed up in a jiffy. He started setting the hotel for an assult. He sut up tables, ammunition, and even human shields using the people hiding in the hotel. He'd give them a pretty good gunfight in this place.

In town #2

"We've got snipers, everyone away from the wondows!"

The V9 unit lost a man and another was probaby going to bleed to death soon. They holed up in the house setting up for them to come in.

Meanwhile the three armored battalions started firing on the enemy vehicles and troop transport. They all split up into strategic location to wait for the enemy. With the firing they'd put on them, they were going to come after them. They were waiting too. The tanks in this town were just a little more advanced than the ones in the first town. They all had two cannon barrels, three heavy machine gun turrets, and a manned heavy AA gun. They were nine man tanks. The crews to run this tank was more than the other two tank models' crews combined.

"Follow them!"

Another groiup of infantry joined the other, and they rushed the hotel.

Goplis was now completely pinnd down, there were twenty V9 corps men out there, a few snipers, and he only had 10 men left. Just then An explosion flung many of the corps flying in the air. Afterwards, there was machine gun fire completely filling the air. When it was all quiet, Goplis looked up. There were two people dressed in civilian clothes Screaming and hollering in joy. One had an RPG and another had a sniper rifle.

"Holy shit, the plan worked! The plan worked!"

Goplis was eccstatic. These were the two men that had left to flank the corps unit dressed in civilians clothing. It'd been nearly an hour and a half and he'd though they'd been captured. Goplis and his men stood up and ran to them. They were cheering because with these corps people, there were all sorts of weapnos, ammunition, and supplies. Not to mention the enemy uniforms. It had seemed as if the tdes had begun to turn for Goplis.

Drov saw the men start to storm the building. He threw a grenade and started firing his machine gun. With the grenade, the civilians started screaming and tryied to scramble awayfrom it, but there really wasn't much they could do. They were trapped.

Drov only fired in three shot bursts. Only peeking out enough for his peripherals to see the enemies. The rest of his men started firing from the infarmary where they'd brought the shot man.

"Agh!"

Civillians and soldiers flew because of the grenade. And so, the battle went on.

An IFV sped to the side of the house, and opened fire upon Drov with it's six .50 caliber machine guns on it's side. Infantry snuck around the back.

The tanks were recieving heavy fire. They started to move to more secure fortified areas. As they crossed the open they fired all that the guns that they could at the enemy vehicles that could actually fire back and harm them. When the lasers started painting the tanks though, they knew thay had to get to cover. Three were destroyed from the missiles. The rest of the tanks were concentrated solely now on the enemy missile firing vehicles. When all tanks had a visual and a lockon to the targets they all fired.

The V9 corps units were pinned down. It didn't bother them though. They peeked through mouse holes in the walls of the buildings and started firing on the enemy infantry. They still needed to find out where the snipers were though.

The V9 would soon find out. eight snipers shot at the V9 through the windows.

The IFV was a pile of slag.

And the infantry were dead.

Four tanks and two supertanks sighted the enemy, and opened fore with a missile salvo and cannons.

Richardson swore when he reached the second floor and found it empty. "They must have bailed out," he growled.

"Sir!" said one of the men, "There's a heavy firefight going on in a hotel not far from here. The KKs are holed up in there."

"Can't the Pythorgians just call in an airstrike?" Asked Richardson.

"No, sir, there's civilians in there."

"All right, soldier, lead the way."

Drov watched as the tanks were demolished by the enemy tanks. He knew they could only hold off the enemy for a little longer. He decided what to do in these last stages of the battle. He'd wait for enemies to try to come in and then, with the last two tanks, destroy the hotel.

But until then he's fight. He and his men fired out of the windows at the sniper positions. With all of the sniper fire, they'd figured out where they were and now pounded their positions with machine gun ammo.

In City #2

The V9 men in this town din't have much of a chance from the beginning, but they were mostly still alive. Bombs couldn't be called on their current buildings beacuse they were in houses. They were starting to figure out where all of the snipers were stationed. They'd been firing all in coordinated efforts now on each of the positions. While doing so, the made sure, there was no part of them showing. It was actually harder than they'd expected firing and looking out of these holes.

As for the tanks, all they could do was try to retreat. The enemy was on higher ground and better fortified. The city had been more vulnerable to attackthan they'd thought.

The snipers had left their positions, and now attacked from the completely opposite direction. Then it all stopped.

This message was shouted using a megaphone at V9:

"Surrender now. Throw your weapons out the window. If you do not stop immediately, we will not hesitate to storm the hotel."

Richardson approached the man who appeared to be of the highest rank, and asked, "Are you going to try to storm the hotel anytime soon, or do you just plan to hold here?"

Drov laughed at their threats. He decided he'd answer though.

"You can do all that you want! I don't care. I' m a dead man anyway! But there's still fifteen civilians I see alive still in here. And I don't even know how many there are upstairs. So go ahead. Use your nukes! That is unless you want their blood on your hands. I don't think you want to be viewed in the international community as a murderer, now do you? I am Corps Unit Leader Drov Giped and I will never surrender and neither will my men!"

As the ZAFT leader got on the loudspeaker, some of the armored battalion decided that it was the time to quit. A white flag was raised from the armor and the crew of the tanks all got out.

The V9 listened to the bargains and laughed. Just then a sniper rounf hit the ammo box. A man saw what they were trying to do and grabbed and tried to yank it out of the way. Another bullet flew in and hit him. It was in the back, and it sounded like a lung was punctured. A popping sound happened and the man struggle for breath. He dragged the bax to cover with all that he could. Afterwards he laid quiet except for his staggered breathing. The rest of the unit saw this and began firing again at the snipers, ignoring the rest of the announcement on the loudspeaker

Athrun took cover and so did the snipers as a sniper threw a smoke granada in to the window and 4 soldiers broke open the front door as the Artilery stopped and guns drew on the enemy tank crews

As the smoke grenage flew into the room, they all scrambled to pull out their inrared goggles. They all looked at eachother and figured out where each of them was. Then the sound of splintering wood got their attenion. One man turned and threw a grenade down into the stairwell.

They all got their machine guns ready for an invasion from the first floor.

IC: Back in town #1, Richardson fitted a flashbang grenade onto his rifles grenade launcher.

"Whenever you're ready," he said to the Pythorgian commander.

AS the flashbang went off, they were all blinded. But they'd learned what to do in situation like this. DOn't go crazy. Most people flail around like idiots and fire randomly when a flashbang goes off. Instead, these men stayed facing where they were, waiting for gunshots to issue. The man that threw the grenade earlier, threw another one. He wa blind, but he knew wher to throw. It was his last grenade though.

The flashbang was just starting to wear off when the men from the windows asked them to surrender. It was hard to make out what they said because their heads were still spinning.

One man looked over to the wall and did manage to make out the red that signified a person through his IR goggles. He fired a few times, but his vision was still too blurred to tell if he clearly hit the man. This caused the others to go into confusion. They'd heard the words, but didn't know where it was coming from. Then they heard gunshots. They knew the best thing to do was not to shoot until the flashbang's effect was gone. But they did raise their guns and try to look for the people.

One man close to the window was getting to where he could start to make objects out. His gun was shot from his hands along with some others. A couple just got their hands shot. They turned towards the window and tried shooting, but this man knew what to do. He flipped off his IR and looked over at the man that died trying to protect the ammo box. He saw that the ammo box was still just by the window. He knew he had to do it. They were going to die anyway. Why not go out with bang....literally. He pulled out his pistol.

"FOR KOOLEKOGGLE! FOR THE CORPS! FOR OUR LIVES!"

With that, he shot the ammo box a few times, finally, it blew. It blew out the entire top floor, leaving a bottom floor with a big hole in the roof, and a pile of rubble that was the top floor. It was their last ditch effort.

OOC: Well, dropping a nuke would kind of defeat the purpose of invading in the first place. I.E. to save the people in the slums. Seriously though, I would suggest that Nimov be forced to abdicate and be tried for his crimes. The current millitary should be disarmed and the higher officials tried along with Nimov. Finally, someone should stay as peacekeeping forces until elections can be held to create an interm government, and a police force trained.

Richardson and the men who weren't out combing the town followed. They used a wide assortment of weaponry, as the MFC was not considered important enough to arm with standardized weaponry. They fired everything from AK-47s to pistols to rifles. As a result, the sound of their gunfire was incredibly erratic.

ZAFT forces moved up the road a scout spotted a guarded bridge some tanks infentry i would take some time to get past so they held position

Several troops started to charge the place. They started to come in from all side. A few came in through the infarmary. The V9 men there fired back.One was already badly wounded in the leg and couldn't move. He sat and watched the ordeal. Another was shot when the enemies first came in. This left two. They kicked up tales using them as cover. They peeked out and shot every few seconds, trying to keep the others from getting any closer. The room wasn't very big, and every inch counted.

In the front room, Drov was trying to single handed hold of nearly 20 men. He was holding a woman infront of him. Shooting The gun off beside her. He Stayed low and in the corner. The lobby was pretty big, and there were quite a few civilians in there. He reached down momentarily and switched on his radio headset. Then he started shooting again while talking into the headset.

"Armored battalion 3, I need you to commence with the plan on my signal. It will be pretty soon, so get ready."

One of the Pythogrian snipers came behind Drov, and shot him, in the head, from across the street.Tanks swarmed around the building, and guarded.

It was the last thing Drov said as he was shot in the head from behind. The bullet went clear through his head and managed to wound the woman he was using as a human shield. But none of that would matter soon.

At the command of Drov, two tanks burst from the basements they'd been concealed in. The basements had huge loading ramps going into them so it had been a pretty easy job. They rolled, immediately they started recieving fire. It didn't matter though. They had one simple job to do. Demolish the Hotel. A number of enemy soldiers were inside, along with a lot of the poor people. From where they were the hotel was in clear sight.

The command was followed by the whooshing sound of the cannons being fired. The shells made a direct hit. They'd had a specific target on the building to hit and they did it well. Take out the support pillars. Soon after, the hotel began to crumble.

The tanks didn't stand much of a chance now. They'd fired their cannon, needed to reload, and they were out in the open. But they'd done their job.

IC: As a shell whistled nearby his head, Richardson let loose a string of expletives that would have made a sailor blush and stare at his feet. He slung a shrieking woman who was bleeding from the leg over his shoulders in a fireman's carry, and shouted, "Follow me!" Amazed that he had managed to keep his bearings, Richardson led a small group of civilians and one other MFC soldier from the hotel.

It was the last thing Drov said as he was shot in the head from behind. The bullet went clear through his head and managed to wound the woman he was using as a human shield. But none of that would matter soon.

At the command of Drov, two tanks burst from the basements they'd been concealed in. The basements had huge loading ramps going into them so it had been a pretty easy job. They rolled, immediately they started recieving fire. It didn't matter though. They had one simple job to do. Demolish the Hotel. A number of enemy soldiers were inside, along with a lot of the poor people. From where they were the hotel was in clear sight.

"Tank 7's cannon ready."

"FIRE"

The command was followed by the whooshing sound of the cannons being fired. The shells made a direct hit. They'd had a specific target on the building to hit and they did it well. Take out the support pillars. Soon after, the hotel began to crumble.

The tanks didn't stand much of a chance now. They'd fired their cannon, needed to reload, and they were out in the open. But they'd done their job.

"Argh!!!"

The building crumbled on top of the troops. Only three civillians and ten troops would survive.

The tanks had spotted the enemy tanks, and drove railgun shells into them.

Once the tanks were fired upon they didn't last long. One of the crew of the tank did manage to bail out of what woul've been his armored death hole. He held the whit flag high, hoping that the Pythagorian and Moanthan forces would spare him. He doubted they would, but he could always try.

Tha man followed their orders and put his hands behind his head. He didn't have much of a choice anyway. He was unarmed and he was a lousy fighter. He was only a armored battalion tank engineer.

On The Bridge to the Last Town

After the artillery stopped raining down, two tanks came over the hill. There werefour tanks on the bridge. They all took their chances making an early strike. They'd recieved word of what happened in the other two towns and they'd decided they'd start things off.

They looked like pretty tough tanks, so they would concentrate their fire to one at a time. All four tanks took aim at the lead tank and fired.

"Good." the soldier said. He put handcuffs on the man. "We'll take you to the POW ship. You will not be hurt."

The type one tank was hit and blew up the type two used it as cover and fired from both its berrels solid rounds at the enemy tanks as MG fire also opened on the troops on the bridge as Sledge Hammer teams moved up and opened fire

The type two tank's shots destroyed one tank completely and cripple another to the point that it couldn't move anywhere. Two of the tanks reloaded and fired again at the other tank. The other tank fired at the Sledge Hammers as they over the hill.

Three men with RPG's scaled the short watch towers. They had decided that they had to trake out the heavily armored artillery launchers. The best way for them to do this was concentrate their fire and hit them one by one. They all aimed and fired at the one that was visible.

Three more men jumped onto some turret guns and opened fire onto the machine gunners. The bridge was heavily manned and could hold its own for a while against these invaders.

The second and first towns were secure. The battle had been truly bloody, but it had happened. The survivors were rescued, and the Pythogrian divisions moved on to the final town.

"Sir, town sighted."

Tanks came in imense numbers, circled around the enemy, and attacked from all sides.

The advisor broke in to the room. He'd been updating Fregal on the situations of the invasion for most of the attack. This time however, he looked very distress. Fregal was busy giving a speech however. The speech he gave every night before the slaughter in the courtyard started. This was the third night. The advisor needed to tell him the news then though. It was quite urgent.

"Excuse me sir, I need to speak with you."

Fregal excused himself from the speech momentarily but with much reluctance.

"Well, what's so important that you must interupt my talk?"

He whispered into his ear. He told him of the situations of the towns so far. When he was done, Nimov looked very frustrated. He told the advisor to wait and then walked back to the balcony.

"Fine countrymen, I am grieved to tell you that international forces have begun invading KooleKoggle.These people have no right on our land, yet they are here, killing our people town to town. They take sympathy to these traitors and spare them. They have killed all of our true people in two towns. Two defenseless towns. They kill for no reason except out of spite. Spite for us and our glory. They can't stand to see us bask in our greatness. Greatness that does not extend to those that you see in front of me now. So now, instead of asking us or requesting anything of us, they go from town to town killing all of us who truly love our country! Now watch as these people they seem to love so dearly die. Die for their crimes and their despise for their own land."

Fregal walked away from the balcony as the usual sound of chaos broke out in the courtyard. He sat down with the advisor and started giving orders.

"Okay, I want all planes from our subterrainian bases up now. I want a full bombardment on these people."

The advisor looked at him for a second, wanting not to tell him the bad news, but it was necassary.

"Sir, the bases have been destroyed. It was a clean job, nothing remains but rubble. Ground troops apperently were dropped in and took out the AA. Then they proceeded to take out all five bases. It happened so fast and proffesional, no one even knew it had happened until they were gone."

Fregal looked at the man. He seemed as if he was ready to choke someone.

"How did that happen. They must've got information from that damned Goplis! Either that or some poor POW they've managed to snatch. Either way, what's done is done. I want whatever planes we have left from the underground hangars from the known airbases in the air. It's not many, but they'll do the job. I want all stealth bombers to fly at maximum height. I want this to be a coordinated attack. They will all release their payload at once. I want them to hit every AA gun, heavy armor, or artillery they have. I want it done in one flyby. If that can't be done, then We'll have to settle for two, after that the planes need to pulled back out of the area."

"But sir, our runways are destroyed, how will they takeoff?"

"Use civilian roads. Use superhighways and interterritorial highways. I want them up by the end of the hour. Now leave me, and get working on it."

((OOC: Maybe so, but they are long range stealth bombers. When flying at maximum altitude, it is nearly impossible to track the heat of them because the jet streams and theconvection current. Also since this is only an invasion, I doubt there is a lot of radar technology on the ground and with that I have to point out that....they are stealth bombers. They're not very detectable but since I'm guessing that there is a minimal amount of radar with an invading army, they prabably wouldn't be detected. They are taking off secretly and close to the capitol, where there aren't any enemy forces yet.))

OOC: also since we got guys in the Air you bombers will be spoted maybe if not there no way your bombers have enough bombs to take us all out plus my nation has intercaption systems that are mobile

I kinda want this to be like that last bridge on the game Black. If you've played it, you'll know what I'm talking about. Man, that bridge was hell! I died at least 15 time playing that level.))

The troops on the bridge were beginning to be pummeled. Another army had just joined the one they were already receiving a beating from. The tanks near the front of the bridge had been destroyed. The turrets were now a vulnerable target as more people started coming and eliminating them.

Just then a messenger pulled up in a small military vehicle. He had some great news for the people on the bridge. There was going to be a bombing on most of the enemy artillery and armor. This would help even the playing field a lot. All they had to do was hold off until the bombers came. There was only one or two chances the bombers had, so what wasn't destroyed they had to deal with.

The sky was full of enemy planes though, this would be a challenge for the bombers, but they still would have to be able to take out a few targets before being destroyed.

((OOC: Not trying to sound rude or anything, but it seems like you are refusing to lose troops. In war you lose people. It's a given fact. No matter how much better you're military is, how primitive the other people are, or how many people you have. Just to name a few instances: The American Revolutionary War, Vietnam, World War II, And now the Iraqi War. All of these instances, one army had significant advantages over the other, yet they still lost. Things happen. Since the beginning of the whole thing, I think you've lost 2 snipers, 2 tanks and a truck. Even though I throw all that I can at you, you counter it no matter what. For one instance, In the town you attacked, I had all my men and all my armor attack your artillery. Yet somehow, they foresaw what was about to happen, pulled back perfectly unharmed to a position that you said couldn't be hit and then fired at my tanks again. Another instance in that fight was when after firing on you people for ther first time my tanks pulled back to a position in the streets in houses where they couldn't be attacked, yet you still destroyed them all with artillery.Everyone here has gone with it and taken the necassary casulties from the actions and then learned from it and fired back. And another thing is that the airplanes taking off currently are a total secret. The only one told was the military advisor who then told the pilots personally to load up by the end of the hour. No radio messaging was done and no matter what way you take about it. Military intelligence doesn't develop in an hour. You can't read a post that is supposed to be a secret internal monolouge and gather intel from it. It's not good roleplaying. And lastly, use some damned puncuation. Reading your posts is like trying to decipher a damned military code. Do you guys agree with me on all the points I've made Pythagoria and Moantha? If not, then I guess that i'm just a complete nimwit that knows nother of roleplaying or logistics.))

Flightplan 578: Bomb enemy artillery

The Bombers had just recieved word that they were going to be bombing the enemy artillery and armor. The plan had been highly secretive as they were contacted by the head of the military himself to fly to the battlefield in less than an hour.

They all loaded up quickly, doing a fast checkover of the planes for any problems. They then were shipped a short distance to the closest highways. They all were unloaded and boarded in just minutes. They were all doing the entire thing as fast as possible. They soon were ready for takeoff. They did a quick checklist check then started to take off. It was rougher than what they were used to with the military runways, but all they had to do was lift off.

Shortly after take off the bombers grouped and then split into 4 formations. They were all going to bomb from sperate directions. They were already setting in the coordinates of the targets as they rose to their maximum hieght. Now all they had to do was get close enough to launch, go by. Then they'd come around and fire their second bomb, taking out as much artillery and armor as possible, making these people fight man to man with the V9 corps.

They neared the location at which the could fire their missiles. They could start to see enemy planes, but these planes were quite agile and could last a while in a dogfight even though there really weren't any air to air weaponry. They all readied to bomb. The Flight leader came on the radio.

"Okay men, recheck the coordinates now.....Okay now get ready to drop them in 3....2...1...now!"

All of the bombers dropped one of their bombs, leaving one more on each. They now were nearing the battle field. They had to cross over it then turn around and make another flight across.

OOC: Who me? I've landed a couple of squads of men. And one of those squads lost about half it's men when you destroyed that hotel...

as the bombs came down the fireing linear artilery hit a few of the bombs causeing a chain reaction in a few of the bomb streams but they still got hit hard loses were moderate due to the troops being in a column formation rock slides from the explosions also hit the troops and armor this just made them madder they moved every thing that was damaged or destroyed to the side and pushed foward opening fire the tanks pushed there way on there end of the bridge along with the rest of the forces

OOC: Sorry I'm late.

IC: The fleet finally was within sight of KooleKoggle. Loudspeakers throughout the transport ships told everyone to get into the landing boats. 20 soldiers filed into each landing boat, which was then lowered into the calm sea. Fleet Admiral Donahue smiled. Rarely was the weather so friendly to them as it was now. His smile became a grimace as the waters near the boat shot up into the air.

"They've got artillery!" A sailor shouted.

"Well, don't just stand there! Man the battle stations! Aim at the remaining bunkers and blow them to kingdom come!" Donahue yelled.

"Aye aye, sir!" the sailor replied. At that moment, another artillery shell struck near the ship, spraying water right into the sailor's face. He quickly shook it off, opened a nearby door, and began running down the stairs. He took a right when he reached the bottom, ran for about 30 feet, grabbed onto the rungs of a ladder and climbed into a wide hallway. In the hallway, men were loading shells into the large guns and firing them. "Sailor, get over here, now!" a man yelled. The sailor rushed over to him. "Lt. Henderson?" the sailor asked.

"Matt, help me load these shells into the chamber!" Henderson yelled. Matt began placing the shells into the container. "I can't believe we didn't fill the chambers before we got here! What were we thinking?" Henderson wondered.

"Sorry, George, but there's no time for that now. We gotta aim this gun at the bunkers!" Matt exclaimed.

"You're right. Its too bad we weren't prepared for this. Then we could be down in one of the control rooms, using computers to aim these guns. I guess we thought they were already softened up." George replied. They pulled a rusty crank that probably hadn't been used in 40 years. Matt peered into a scope. "It looks like its right on target, sir." Matt said.

"Good. Matt, stand back and close your ears." George said. Matt jumped back and covered his ears. George pressed a large red button. BOOM! The floor shook as the shell launched out of the gun. The shell seemed to scream as it hurtled at the enemy bunker. It slowed down a bit and then impacted the concrete walls of the bunker. Pieces of debris flew in all directions.

((OOC: Sorry about not replying until so late, but I ad to go to the chiropractor after school today. Apparently, my T7 is all out of whack. I have no idea what that means, but it doesn't sound good, and my back hurts like none other.))

Above the Field: Flight Plan 578's Interception

The bombers had just released their first bombs when they were attcked by enemy planes. About ten of the bombers were instantly destroyed. The others evaded the machine guns and missiles to the best of their ability. It wasn't hard for these quick, maneuverable planes, but without any air to air guns, they knew they would have to hit and run.

They started to cross over the field. Soon afterwards, they all turned around and started back again. They rushed the targeting process as they were beginning to be slowly gunned out of the sky. Only about half of the planes remained for the second bombing. They targeted the new artillery and armor that had replaced the crippled units. They were aiming to keep the war as much troop to troop as possible.

They got the go ahead to release their payloads. They all did so in synchronization on the countdown. All they had to do was get out of the area now, before they were all dead. Only 20 remained now. The good news was that almost all of the pilots had been able to eject before going down. They all sped at full speed trying to get away.

On the Field: The Battle Got Bloodier

Just then enemy artillery and tanks had just exploded from the first round of bombings. This gave the men to try and get back to the turrets on the bridge. This time they set up several riot shields from the police in the town infront of the turrets. This would keep them from being taken out by small arms.

Just as their hopes were beginning to come up, new armor came over and around the hill. The fireing commenced again on the turrets. The riot shields didn't stand a chance against tank fire. The troops started to see that the turrets were now a completely useless tool for them. They started firing from the ground now keeping away from any open spots. They used the empty metal shells of the various tanks that had been destroyed as cover. They brought out snipers and set them up everywhere that they could get a clear shot as long as they were behind cover.

They were losing badly, but the bombers were going to come around another time and bomb again. That was if they survived. Many were distracted from their shooting duties by the heavy dogfighting they could just hear and see up in the high sky. They didn't let these distraction get them fully though. If only they could come back around and destroy these armored divisons. It was the men on the bridges last hopes. After them however, was the town. There were three V9 corps units in this town. Al the armor had been moved to the bridge, but the V9 would still give them a hell of a fight.

the second bombing run did damage but ZAFT forces had not regrouped yet so not much was hit as the fighters went after the remaining bombers on the ground the enemy pilots who ejected were rounded up just as enemy troops were running for cover a squad of 20 Agile attack helicopters came in and opened fire with catling guns on the enemy troops as troops moved up opening fire on the enemy

((OOC: Sorry about not replying until so late, but I ad to go to the chiropractor after school today. Apparently, my T7 is all out of whack. I have no idea what that means, but it doesn't sound good, and my back hurts like none other.))

Above the Field: Flight Plan 578's Interception

The bombers had just released their first bombs when they were attcked by enemy planes. About ten of the bombers were instantly destroyed. The others evaded the machine guns and missiles to the best of their ability. It wasn't hard for these quick, maneuverable planes, but without any air to air guns, they knew they would have to hit and run.

They started to cross over the field. Soon afterwards, they all turned around and started back again. They rushed the targeting process as they were beginning to be slowly gunned out of the sky. Only about half of the planes remained for the second bombing. They targeted the new artillery and armor that had replaced the crippled units. They were aiming to keep the war as much troop to troop as possible.

They got the go ahead to release their payloads. They all did so in synchronization on the countdown. All they had to do was get out of the area now, before they were all dead. Only 20 remained now. The good news was that almost all of the pilots had been able to eject before going down. They all sped at full speed trying to get away.

On the Field: The Battle Got Bloodier

Just then enemy artillery and tanks had just exploded from the first round of bombings. This gave the men to try and get back to the turrets on the bridge. This time they set up several riot shields from the police in the town infront of the turrets. This would keep them from being taken out by small arms.

Just as their hopes were beginning to come up, new armor came over and around the hill. The fireing commenced again on the turrets. The riot shields didn't stand a chance against tank fire. The troops started to see that the turrets were now a completely useless tool for them. They started firing from the ground now keeping away from any open spots. They used the empty metal shells of the various tanks that had been destroyed as cover. They brought out snipers and set them up everywhere that they could get a clear shot as long as they were behind cover.

They were losing badly, but the bombers were going to come around another time and bomb again. That was if they survived. Many were distracted from their shooting duties by the heavy dogfighting they could just hear and see up in the high sky. They didn't let these distraction get them fully though. If only they could come back around and destroy these armored divisons. It was the men on the bridges last hopes. After them however, was the town. There were three V9 corps units in this town. Al the armor had been moved to the bridge, but the V9 would still give them a hell of a fight.

"Keep firing! Just keep firing! Help will come soon..."

It did come. In the form of 42 Black Panther helicopters. These began the blitz of enemy armor, and troops began house-to-house fighting.

One soldier stationed near the rear of the bridge looked out at the chaos. Smoke filled the sky along with bullets and blood. He and his buddies from the base were all stationed here at the bridge. It was usually a nice quiet job with the occasional illegal citizen being stopped and executed. But these two days were different.It had started the night before with a coplete artillery strike on either side of the bridge. So then he was stuck. Stuck fighting a fight he didn't believe in.

See earlier that week, he heard about the start of the mass executions and a declaration of war on the KooleKogglian government. He liked his military job. But he didn't like it enough to be a part of killing his people. But then with the invasion of the towns, he'd heard a story. He heard that General Goplis had led the full V9 training section into the capitol and started a rebellion. He'd decided before the battle had begun that at the right time, they'd do the same. For them, it was the only way they could possibly survive.

The artillery began being destroyed with massive airstrikes, and he knew it was time. H egathered his men and at the end of the bombing, he fired. He and his men opened fire onto fellow KooleKogglian soldiers. They knew that if these invaders did lose, and they were caught, that not only would they die, but also thier friends, their family, and anyone else who even vaguely knew them. But they opened fire on them.

The ensuing moments were engulfed in mass hysteria. Not only were the loyalists being shot at by invaders, they were being destroyed from the inside. They didn't know who it was though. People began shooting each other. This made the job of the betrayers much easier now that no one trusted anyone. Just then helicoptors flew over destroying all of their armor. Things were going sweetly. Blood was spilling from all perspectives. People started shooting at the first person they saw. Enemy or ally.

The entire force of the bridge had almost been completely been broken by the action of seven people. These seven had now shot their way to the front of the bridge where the invaders were. They made sure it was clear that they were on their side, as they shot the men on the bridge while backstepping towards these foreigners. Soon the bridge was cleared, save a few wounded survivors who were all mostly attempting to wave white flags of surrender made of their shirts.

Infantry entered the houses, ready to shoot any soldiers that opposed them. The met a squad of KooleKoggle infantry, and drowned them in bullets.

V9 Unit #2

From the start of the attcak on the bridge, the V9 had started getting ready for the assult. The bridge soldiers were only a delay tactic. There was no way they could possibly hold off an invading allied force of three countries. All that could be done is sit back and watch a slaughter house at work. Right within 200 hundred feet of this usually humble town, nearly a thousand people had died, mostly KooleKogglian.

The three units in this town hadn't been trained in Guerilla Warfare. These three had been trained just for Urban conflicts. They were trained for the job and well armed. They had enough ammunition to take down a heard of wildabeasts and a crash of rhinos. The units all consisted of 10 people, each having 3 weapons. The leader of unit #2 was named Frond.

Frond signalled to them to take a house. They found one with a good clean view of the main road along with easy access to another house nearby. They prepared for a long fight.

Unit #1

This unit was special. Nearly all of these men were completely specialized not only in urban combat but also demolitions. They could just about blow up a building with a potato, a candle, whiskey, and a brick. They were called Groprodas. This in old KooleKogglian literaly meant divine makers. But a less literal translation meant they make anything out of nothing.

These men were leaded by a man named Gemar. He looked at his men and signaled to set up several anti-tank mines. They also started making pressure sensitive lines across roads for demo mines. Special mines that shot up, split into three and all explode. They are also full of white phosphorous. This would make a fire that nothing could put out on all people and machines. After about 20 minutes work they were done. They took up a house and started fortifying it.

Unit #3

This unit was head by a man named Prekna. They had just been radiod by Unit #1 about the explosives. This team really didn't have a specialization. With this aside, this team had one thing in common. They were incredibly masochistic. This was common among most V9 corps people. This had been a noted observation probably due to the intensive 2 year training straining out the weak.

Prekna had other plans besides moving house to house. They'd stay on the ground but in silent cover. They'd been contacted by the government about the appearal of the invaders. Many were dressed like Pythogrian and Spitbreak soldiers. They could silently kill someone and still slip into the armies unnoticed.

For the most part, they were armed with enemy weapons. But they still carried their handy side pistols all V9 had. Semi-automatic high power specials. The break through had just recently been made in a KooleKogglian gun manufacturer on how to make a high powered pistol without it melting or jamming terribly. The manufacturer was shut down not too long afterwards for various reasons. But many of these pistols were made. They didn't have much of a lifespan, so only the elite of the elite of the V9 carried them as to keep the numbers of these pistols up.

The units were ready and supplied for a full out battle in the town, and they planned on one.

ZAFT military forces reached the 3rd town as fighters went on runs against enemy positions

The sniper nodded and before coming over, gave his gun a quick loo-over and then silently screwed on the supressor. He then crept to the window and slowly looked over the sill. He quickly looked over the small scout detachment of invaders trying to find the lead mad of the group. He saw someone telling someone what to do, also seeing a few rank markers on his uniform. He put the man's head completely in the scope, took a bretah and slowly squeezed the trigger.

The leader was killed. One soldiersaw something strange, and decided to lob a grenade into that window.

Prekna was just about to tell the sniper to make another shot when he hear an all too familiar noise. A grenade had just clunked into the window. He looked at it for second before picking it up and lobbing it downstairs into the family room below. He hadn't even heard it hit the floor downstairs ehn he heard the explosion. It was a fairly fierce one too. It shook the floor and rattled a few boards off the wall.

He knew it was time to get out of there. He shattered a window and jumped. It wan't that high of a fall, only about 8 or 9 feet. They'd trained for things like that. He took off running nearly the second he touched the ground. His team followed one by one only taking about 10 seconds for all them to evacuate the house. They ran into one just a few houses down. They tied the family occupying the home and ran upstairs. Thwe second story was their floor of choice.

Unit #1

Gemar was fairly angry that the explosives had been found so fast. They decided to go with a different technique. He had someone bury another mine. Well, in reality it wan't actually a mine. In KooleKogle, almost everything looks the same, it was a fairly bland and conforming country. The explosive was actually a highly fowerful remote detonated bomb made out of a few household materials. It looked like a mine, but the minesweepers would be in for a surprise. The whole team started making a small minefield of the bombs.

Gemar had just been radiod by the other units that the invaders were heading their way. He signalled for them to finish the last two to bury. Sprinting was the only way to get back to their cover house on time. Just as the last one entered and closed the door, they saw the barrels of rifle come around the corner. They all switched on their IR goggles and watched the men through the thin walls. They had to wait until they started demining to detonate.

Athrun: koolie force open fire!

ZAFT force open fired on any and all enemy forces they saw. Tanks moved up and opened fire with MG fire

The whole minefield was spotted, and six minesweepers sent in.

Prekna looked around in the cold upstairs room of the village house. He heard the unmistakable noise of machinge gun fire cracking outside. As they watched the smoke fill the air, they knew that if they stayed in one place that they wouldn't last long. They had to keep moving and get close enough for the enemy unifroms to actually work. For this reason, Prekna signalled them to move onto the next house.

They repeated the same procedure as before and ran to a house just a block down the small street. They knew that there was another unit there, as they kept fairly good communications with eachother. But as they neared the house, there was a massive explosion that echoed through air of the city. The smell of smoke had just reached a new level, as had the fight for the city.

Unit #1

They watched as the minesweepers were sent forward towards their fake minefield. They knew that the explosion would be quite big, but the extent of the damage wouldn't be known until it had occured. Something like this had never been tried or seen by them before, but they knew that these six men and possibly the detatchment they were with would stand no chance. They only hoped that they were far enough away.

As the minesweepers got closer, the anxiousness rose. They slowly armed the detonators and braced themselves for a massive explosion. Gemar wanted to wait until they were dug up to let loose the destruction of these bombs. The minesweepers all got down and started to work carefully at digging up what they thought were sensitive mines. As the digging was closing to the end, the tension built. Finally, one careful looking Pythogrian fellow finally had got a look at one of the counterfeit mines. A look of horror crossed his face as Gemar said one word which drowned out all noise to these V9 men:
"Now."

At that instant the world went silent. Not a single bird chirped, nor did a single mouse move. Then the world came crashing down on them. The sound echoed through the house like it was the grand canyon. It was over in just an instant though. Gemar looked around awestruck. His ears rang and his vision was blurred. As his vision started to clear though, he saw the extent of the damage. The wall of the house had been rattled with shrapnel. This metal cloud had killed two of his men and even injured another two. Outside in the street however was a crater. That was all he had time to see though, as he pulled his gun and ordered his men to get moving again.

Frond saw unit 3 approaching and told his men to hold thier fire. That was when he saw a flash halfway across the town. A smoke plume flew into the air just above the incident. As he was awestruck for quite a few moments the sound of unit 3 entering the house brought him out of it. He looked at Prekna and at his men.

"So, what's the plan?"

Every minesweeper was thrown into the air, and came down in pieces. The advance halted.

"What the heck...?"

They continued, very, very, VERY cautiously..

Gemar looked through the smoke. The infrared goggles could barely pick up the heat signatures of the advancing Pythogrian troops through the warm ash and smoke which narrowed the actual visibility to less than none. But he did manage to pluck out the outlines of a few men walking his way, slowly. He looked back at his men. The injured two were being brought around the corner to stay out of the firefight.

Gemar then glimsped back at the Pythogrian men. He signalled his men to fire at his signal. He held up his hand and slowly counted down from three on his fingers. As it got to 1 all men picked someone and got their aim ready. When the signal came, a hailstorm of bullets was being poured from the V9 unit. With their fully automatic rifles, filling the air with bullets was no problem.

As they started to finish their clips, Gemar and his men started making it around the corner into an alley. If they could just keep moving, the fight could last for a while.

Unit #2

Listening to Prekna's plan got Frond to get his men back into the street. Since no one had seen that Prekna's men were wearing enemy uniforms, all that they had to do was pull the switch-a-roo. Frond would leave the house drawing most of the forces onto his unit. This would allow Unit #3 to get in close and slip into the enemy ranks unnoticed. He got his men ready.

As he started leaving the house, he saw an enemy armor up the street. It was going in the opposited direction, but it still concerned him. An RPG man was called to the door. He opened the black case of the launcher and drew it out of the box. He loaded an RPG and started to take aim. He only had one rocket, so it had to count. Luckily, the back of a tank is usually the weakest spot on its armor. Once he had the open sights set straight for the middle of the rear end of the tank, he took a deep breath. He relaxed and slowed squeezed the trigger.

They didn't stick to see if it was successful though. Frond had already had his men moving out through a window and the RPG man joined them hastily.

"Agh!"

"Help!"

Bullets ripped through the front line. Pythogrians retaliated, with the tank's four .50 caliber machine guns, and those of IFVs.

"For the Homeland!"

Athrun found the Pythogrian Radio channel

Gemar looked back after a loud yell. All of his team had made it around the corner but one unlucky man. A bullet had just clipped the man's spine. There was no use in going back for him. Even though he would most likely live, he'd be totally useless for this fight.

The injured man had a strange look on his face. A look no V9 man would ever have on their face. He was terrified. He knew he'd be left since he probably couldn't walk for a few months. This wasn't what scared him. It was the fact that he'd be a POW. One of the worst possible shames a V9 man could go through. He looked at his gun and tried to reach for it, so he could go out in a blazing glory. But alas he failed. His whole body had gone numb, all he could do was hope that by the time the Pythogrians got to him, he'd be dead. But he knew this hope would never be fulfilled. There was no way he could bleed to death through the small wound.

Gemar then turned back around and continued on. He looked around for a house with access to every direction on the compass. He found one after much leek and he ordered his men inside. To his surprise an entire family was still in the house. Most had left after the attack on the bridge commenced, but there was a whole room full of these innocents. He had a man gaurd these people, just to make sure that they had some leverage against these invaders. These prisoners would probably come in handy.

Unit #2

He was running down the street when the spit break advance started moving in. They were shot at heavily. Luckily no one was actualy seriously injured. The enemies were quite a ways away, so it wasn't that much of a surprise. It was a good sized advancement though, so he didn't want to get into a big full out fire fight, because he knew he'd lose Insted he opted for hit and run tactics. He got his men up on a roof of a building, and got them ready to fire at his command. When Spit Break got close, they'd know soon enough just how good of marksmen this unit's men were.

Goplis was eccstatic. He'd already defeated 3 V9 corps units. He'd gathered most of his men back together, and were more heavily armed than Rambo. But he had to checkup on his allies. He signaled his radio man to contact the Pythogrian Leader. Once the station was found, the radio was handed to the General.

"Pythogria forces, this is Goplis. The urgency of my last signal may have left you wondering if I was still alive, but dammit I'm doing great! I've got most of my men regrouped and we're getting much closer to the palace. I've heard no news on your advancement. Even though I'm fine, I'd prefer to have some help in here. Oh hey wait a second, there's some more of those dirty bastards."

Goplis saw some more V9 corps men. He ordered them destroyed. With the munitions they'd gained from the 3 units they'd killed, this was an easy task. He got back on the radio.

"Okay, I got the dirty rats. I'd say about a quarters of my original force remains with me. I have no idea on the others. I'd very much like you to radio me your progress. Hey....what's that sound...*indistinct shouts*...Hmm, I don't what that was. Well anyway, I'd like yoy to speed up your advancement if at all possible and I'd greatly like it if you......Oh shit! Artillery............."

Frond heard a familiar sound of the air wooshing by helicopter blades. He got his men back inside in a hurry except one man. This man had a 50 caliber rifle. Shots landed all around him as he took aim at the copilot. He got ready to fire off two shots in a hurry. He'd need to take out the pilot and the copilot.

As it neared, the shots got much closer and he decided it was time to take the shot. He fired with the sight fully on the man's heard. He then turned to the pilot and got ready to shoot him. He did this faster than before because he was very rushed. He got the man's head in the center and started to squeeze the trigger. Then he felt a sharp pain strike through his arm. He'd been hit. He shook it off as best he could and took his shot. As he did, the bullets finally found their mark and he was riddled full of the bird's lead.

As if it was as on cue, the entire nation had gone crazy. All manufacturing had stopped, revolts errupted, and transportation was shut down. Fregal was in trouble and he knew it. Now, not only did he have to deal with an invading army and a defected General, but also the country itself. He hadn't got any sleep for two days. He was too depressed and anxious for sleep. He'd only been watching the news and planning military movements. For once in the last 48 hours he'd finally had to rest. He just got comfortable in his bed when the head military man came in.

"Sir, I'm sorry to awake you, but I fear we're about to lose our control over the slums. All of the high guard has been driven out by civilians and a lot of our V9 corps force has been exterminated by Goplis. We're in a bind."

Fregal was once again up wth no thoughts of sleep. He walked to the balcony and looked out onto the nearly empty courtyard. since the beginning, the numbers of people that he could bring in had been declining steadily, and now all that was out there were a couple of families beging for mercy. Frustrated, he walked back into his room.

"Bomb the slums. I want all of Goplis' force erradicated."

"But sir, we're really not sure where they are, they've been on the move, regrouping, and exterminating the V9 corps men. We underestimated how much of a threat Goplis and V9 would be on us."

Fregal looked up with anger glinting in his eye. At that moment, he looked like his father when he was young and focused on the power of the KooleKogglian throne. But with this in mind, he had lost all similarities with his father. Greg was a mean man, but he'd never go this far. He may not've liked the people he governed, but he knew he couldn't handle something like this. The old High Lord was a thinker. He thought all his decisions out and he knew exactly what reactions would occur after something he did.

"I want them dead now! Send in a group of the corps and locate them. Have them radio the position in, then bomb the place. If this isn't done in the next twenty minutes, you and your family will be joining them outside!"

With the violent, screaming outbreak of Fregal over, the advisor left. Fregal sat back down in his chair.

*BUMP* *Pythogia.....are you there?*

It can shoot through nearly a foot of bulletproof glass and still completely demolish a square foot block of cement another mile away. You need to watch the discovery channel or the military channel more man. They're big guns. They're about five and a half feet long. A Senate report said that a bullet from a .50-caliber rifle, even at 1.5 miles, crashes into a target with more energy than a bullet fired at point-blank range from Dirty Harry’s famous .44 Magnum. But the most devastating .50-caliber bullet is an armor-piercing, incendiary and explosive round sometimes called Raufoss, after the company that makes it. ((OOC: I don't know what happened to Pythogria, In some other post he ignored an invasion, no one liked it, they all ignored him, and now he hasn't been on since...I'm not sure what happened. So I guess we'll go on with just you. I'll try to get more people to come and help. I want to get this done with. After this, I think I'll do a massive civil war resulting from the genocide, so I'm starting to plan that out. If you can, try to get some experienced people in here and help on the invasion.))

The man was dead, but the rocket hit him, disintegrating his body. As the helicopter passed by to do another sweep, Frond himself looked out the window with .50 caliber rifle. His unit only had 2 of them. Although they’d been floating around on many black markets and Gun runners’ supply lists everywhere, they were expensive. About 1,000 pookadees(the KooleKogglian currency).

Frond took steady aim, trying to get a good shot on the fuel line. They had Raufoss shells, so hitting anywhere with fuel would do the job. As he got the sights of the ninety pound gun centered on the fuel line, he took a deep breath in. He slowly squeezed the trigger until the satisfactory, and almost cannon like, sound echoed through the air. The noise was almost unbearable inside the room, made many of the corps men wince. Frond lowered himself back in the house and decided it was time to leave the building. If he stayed too much longer, the invading force would be all over the place.

As they started jumping down to the dirt ground of the city’s road, Frond tried to scope out a place that gave significant cover, but room to shoot clearly. The houses of this city just weren’t built with urban warfare on mind. The windows were quite big, and the walls were thin on most of the houses. However, a few were built out of nice steel reinforced concrete. These were the ones they were primarily trying to stick to.

After wandering the street for a few minutes, he found a nice little villa perfect for his intentions. He signaled his men to rush the house, killing as few people as possible. They needed civilians for protection and he knew that without them, they would be as good as dead. They needed to hurry though, another whirly bird could be heard roaring through the sky towards them. If they didn’t get in soon, their secret position would be compromised. The soldiers took full note of this, and kicked in the door. However, something unusual happened when they did so. Resistance. As the lead man had gone in, his skull had been crushed by a 4x4 smashing into his face. But the man that had tried to protect his home didn’t last long. He was shot three time with pistol rounds before he could even pick his lumber back up.

They proceeded into the house slower and found that the only ones left in the house were children. Who by all means, were perfect human shields. They moved up the old wooden staircase, securing the 2nd floor for their use. Spots were picked out by the small vent-like windows for a good firing spot. Luckily they’d avoided the helicopter too. As they just got into positions, the attackers flew over. They’d wait here and ambush the invaders, creating a distraction for the Unit 3 men to slip into their ranks unnoticed.

ZAFT Forces moved into the Town. Few buildings were housing Enemy troops except when they came across a Villa when fire came at them. They saw the body of a man in the door way, but they thought other were inside most likly on the main floor. A Agile came above the villa and opened fire around the windows, a second Agile came and did the same leaving a vary short period between when shell hit

Admiral Doom(real name not anything fake.) stood on the bridge of 1010102ian newest iceberg carrier;Primal. He was only 50 miles out from the closest point he could get with his ship's massive draft.

The plan was to have the main force go ahead and have the Primal and a escort force protecting it stay back.The Primal would stay back and launch gun ships (think c-130 specter gunship) to use as close air support for the troops ground side. they would not take ff until the troops were landing on the beaches.

A man had run into Fregal's office exasperated. He was holding sattelite images of what seemed like a humongous ship off the southern coast of KooleKoggle. Our army is decimated! Rebellions have broken out across the country, and our air force is nonexistant! And you burst in here telling me that ANOTHER country is invading! We've lost this war! You know it just as well as I! I really could care less about some ship off our coast. Right now, our only hope would be if mother nature starts PMSing right now! Now get out of this room and if you ever come back, yoiu will be killed!"

The man that had run into the room excited about having new information was now a broken spirit. Depressed, and a failure to his leader. He had been shunned by Nimov and now would only be that happy agian if after the next year, he was still alive.

Frond was stunned and looked up just as two helicopters cam over the houses. He yelled orders at his men. He got them away from the window just as they opened fire on the house. One man was hit though. Blood flowed out of the wound freely. The bullet had gotten lucky and gotten an artery, he'd die and they knew it.

Along side Spit Break's force came a speacial forces unit 24 men strong that used a stell battering ram to try to knock down the doors and storm the villa
