Argentina can roughly be divided into three parts: the fertile plains of the Pampas in the central part of the country, the centre of Argentina's agricultural wealth. And the rugged Andes mountain range along the western border with Chile, with the highest point being the Cerro Aconcagua at 6,960 metres. The country streches to the bottom of the continent: Tierra del Fuego.


Major rivers include the Paraguay, Bermejo, Colorado, Uruguay and the largest river, the Paraná. The last two flow together before meeting the Atlantic Ocean, forming the Río de la Plata.

The President has declared that the Patagonia shall be taken. Telegraph wires are being laid to connect the Border Forts with Buenos Aires. An offensive towards the south is imminent.

Also, it is probable that there shall be a purchase of naval warships, as Argentina wishes to re-establish herself as the maritime power of South America.

20,000 men have been deployed to the borders of Patagonia, and are ready to strike southward. There have been reports of increased native raiding.

10,000 Cavalry have moved south, from border forts, and have succesfully destroyed several Indian camps along the frontier. There were little casualties, as the repeaters of the cavalry were more than a match against the bows and primitive firearms of the natives.
