The Empire of Japan respectfuly requests that Great Britain assist them in improving, building, and modernising a navy.

The HMS Devastation, HMS Thunderer, HMS Iron Duke, HMS Vanguard and HMS Sultan Have been ordered back to Dover for a possible Sortie to the Baltic to promote good will with the Russian and German Empires.

Public Outcry Over the Five Pound War


Due to the Brinksmanship displayed by the governments recent dispute with the Kingdom Denmark there have been calls in Editorials of this Newspaper and others across the nation for a vote of No Confidence to be taken against the William Gladstone's Liberals.

The Brazilian government approaches various British banks and construction firms about the possibility of a large new loan for the construction of new Brazilian railways, canals, and roads.

(Great Britain did historically support Brazilian infrastructure, what I'm asking for is just stepping-up the historical trend.)

The Empire of Japan is prepared to offer the following for a British built and trained Navy.

1. Exclusive trading rights to British Companies
2. An exclusive arms contract with Biritish companies
3. The offer of a military alliance.

The US vigorously protests any signing of treaties limiting the ability of US citizens to conduct trade with the Japanese.

The British Empire is restationing all the ships in the Dover Expedition, Plus 5 more yet to be determined Battleships In Hong Kong to settle all British Claims.





With a sweeping Majority the British Parliement has elected Conservitive Parliement Which opposed the recent moves by the Spanish, Russian and German Governments and is moving to establish Protectorates over the Northern Marianas and Guam.



Furthermore, The Government has requested purchase of the Phillipines from the Spanish Government.

Due to recent conflicts and Disagreements over the claiming of colonies, Britain would like to call a conference to lay out ground rules for such claiming in London.

With the Persian Governments inability to pay its debts, the Royal Navy has been ordered to begin seizing all merchantmen and their Cargo's flying the Persian Flag to be auctioned off. Any Persian Men of War encountered will be asked for their surrender and if they do not they will be sunk.


A task force will be assembled to take over Duties Collection at all Persian ports until the Debt is Paid.

The Persian Government at the time is too busy handing the current labor unrest does to the use of enslaved people for the Shah mad railroad projects. Also a number of rebellions, minor at the moment have broken out in some of the frontier regions of Persia, do to recent events. Therefore the Persian Government is unable to counter the British Government seizing of merchant ships and just they are force to allow the British to collected the duties for now. Yet the Persian distaste for the British actions is growing and might fan into a rebellion against the British influence in their lands.

For the Corvettes, expect the first vessel to be delivered in 18 months. And then expect 3 per year for the next 4 years(the last year only delivering 2).

And what is this evidence that you speak of, you have submitted no proof of these allegation. Furthermore I resent the term "Treachery" being used in this discourse, this is not how civilized nations speak to one another. Furthermore, you shall receive no such apology for actions that we are innocent of, and the demand for Compensation is laughable. And you have absolutely no right whatsoever on demanding that the Her Royal Majesty's government withdraw our influence from a region that is strategicly valuable to the Empire.

Current Year: 1876
Delivery of the first 2 Battleships will be in 1878. In 1879 two more will be delivered folllowed by another 2 in 1880 and the final two delivered in the year 1881.

Deliverely for the first Corvettes will be in the year 1877. In 1878, 1879, and 1880 a total of 9 will be delivered at a rate of 3 per year. With a final 2 recieved in 1881.

All ships are expected to be delivered and in service by the year 1882 with a total of 8 Battleships and 12 Corvettes.

As a nation committed to the balance of power in Europe surely you are alarmed at the recent outbreak of hostilities between us and Russia. We humbly ask for military or diplomatic support. If we do not receive it we fear Russia shall have full control of the Balkans in a matter of years.

Brazil's Prime Minister, the Duke of Caxais, asks for British advisors to help boost the quality of the Brazilian army and modern British weapons to outfit it. In return, he offers the port of Bélem as a British naval base.

The United States would remind the British Government that the allegations are not something to take lightly, as proof of such actions against a chief American Ally would be possible grounds for War. It is suggested, if the British have nothing to hide, that an American detachment of merchant marine vessels be stationed as a "examinatory" blockade around the Yucatan and that US Government workers be permitted to set up checkpoints at British ports in Honduras to ensure that no large shipments of munitions are inbound for trade to Mexican rebels.

If the British are not satisfied with this suggestion, perhapse they could propose another solution to this diplomatic problem.
