New Problems, Old Beginnings{Closed}

Following the end of the First Kravanian war, the allied forces had celebrated their success in the push back, and defense of The Lone Alliance. Along with this, major problems arose within the government, some visible to the public, yet many not. The Parliament had been criticized by its neighbors as war mongering, Belligerent, and uncooperative within investigations revolving around it. The approval rating had fallen, and people were becoming tired of their circumstances. Within the Parliament itself, the many representatives often bickered with one another, became biased with their decisions, and had taken sides in their support or disapproval of president Scharfe.

Rioting had become rather frequent, with several well-documented court cases and deaths. The Government looked for something that would bring the so-called “Good days” back, and found their target. Jagada had until recently been an ally of Willink, but arguments and disapproval of the neighboring leaders and governments had created an effect that had torn apart the Consortium of shadows. High tension reached an all high in summer twelve years ago during the end of Green sun, in which two naval ships had come to a standstill, before being called off by a direct order from the president.

Jagada had in the past decade suffered serious damage following a conflict with the Kraven Corporation, and had nearly completed a massive rebuilding. Its government had continued to appose the Parliament and the nation in general, with eyes of hatred and Vileness. The Government had devised a plan at damaging the Jagadian military and economic infrastructure, and began to devise a plan. They ordered Satellites to search the nearby seas and oceans for any trace of a Jagadian naval ship, be it a task force, or a long naval oilier. They sat impatiently within the internal chamber, waiting silently for a trace of anything.

The days had been long, reconstruction continued and the industrial sectors boomed. The massive industrial might of Old Jagada was rapidly returning, and even threatening to be challanged by Neo-Jagada. It was in these days that Jagada's Military Budget saw a rapidly increase thanks to the return of Dark Lord York to his rightful throne. Though York had been busy with the military, he could no longer called upon the Crusaders and their vast experiance, he was left with inexperianced soldiers who's primary goal was State Control, not nessecarily major combat. Though after a single gun battle, most men quickly cast down their cowardness and realize it was life or death. They realized that all those love, peace, and pot-smoking theories that liberalism promoted meant nothing in the grand scale of things--just ideals thought up by childish men who thought they could somehow change human nature. Things had changed in Neo-Jagada since York's return. Under the Imperator's Jagada was a Iron-Fisted Dictatorship with a poor equipted army, navy, and air force trying to mantain Imperator Rule. Under York the last Imperator, Undren, was demoted to the rank of Field Marshal. The underequipted soldiers were sent to the armories were York had something special in mind for them. There they had been briefed on a new type of armor that York was soon to begin mass production on it the GJAS-'Automail' (http://www.natick.army.mil/about/pao/pubs/warrior/03/julyaug/fwsideaim1.jpg). By this time, however, most troops had the equipment and some training with it--though not enough to consider them experts with it.

Though with this York had decided a nickname was nessecary for the Jagite Soldiers. The Crusaders and Kreigsmarines were no longer options. York had, after due consideration, decided to name the soldiers "Undertakers". The officers would be known as 'Overlords'. This was purely for phsycological reasons, and by no means where Jagite troops freaks like the Sentienals of Automagfreek, and espically no where near Kraven's level of mutation. These were normal men, in complex battle gear with one emotion driven into them since York proclaimed himself Dark Lord and began to preach to the people--Vegence. He had spoke several times in public in front of the people and troops and showed them that the only way to national salvation was not to be humble and submissive and helpful. It was time to cast of timidness, take up the rifle, and scorch the earth with the flames of the Jagite War Machine. He preached that it was the World's fault. Where was the World when Jagada burned, he said a few times. This was managed to whip the public into a frenzy of hatred and violence demanding blood.

The Dark Empire of Jagada was Ressurected from Extinction, and soon the World would see the vegence and revenge it would reap across those who opposed it...

Thirty Miles ouside of Willikian Waters...

The waves were bad this day, or so thought the Captain and his crew, whatever the opinion of experianced sailors counted for. They were some of the first merchants to leave Jagada, with the Jagite flag. Prior to that Jagada has illegally used other nations flags secretly to ensure that Kraven didn't regonize the vessel, capture the crew, torture them, and learn about Jagada's new location. Now with York back upon the throne, the White-Star Flag of Jagada flapped proudly in the wind. In direct defiance of all odds, of all logic and rationale.

Though they had heard that Willink hadn't been on good terms with Jagada ever since the fallout within the Corsortium of Shadows following Green Sun's fall into utter anarchy. Though these Jagite sailors were not worried, why would they be attacked? They were only transporting oil, some that Jagada had found and was exporting due that Jagada ran on bio-deisal for the most part.

52 Km Outside Terra City

A lone Cargo type vessel was located outside Willinkian waters. A series of confidential orders were passed down through several secure lines, and a message was passed to an Askov class Escort Dreadnaught (http://s13.invisionfree.com/LineartInc/index.php?showtopic=803), which was ordered to attack the cargo ship, some 250 km away. From two of the ships Missile Pod's, eight PSX-17 Anti-ship missiles (Designed to destroy Aircraft Carriers and Large Dreadnaughts) were launched to make sure the ship was totally and utterly destroyed. The huge missiles rocketed out from their containers, heading toward their target at mach 1.5 at around 50 feet above sea level. The Crew on the bridge watched the streak of smoke head past, and fly into the distance.

The Cabinet members were informed that the attack had been launched. Vice President Steven Huges gathered all the members to see what they though.

Secretary of defense Michael White was the first to speak. "I can assure you that this plan is fail proof. We can easily defeat the Jagadian military in a swift blow, and in turn bring back up our approval ratings."

This caused several members to murmur, with Secretary of Foreign Affairs Joe Ingolia speaking up first. "While I understand your plan, what will the rest of the world think? Are you really willing to risk that to gain back our people support? Do you actually think our allies will accept that we blatantly attacked a neighboring nation, for the hell of it?”

"Mr. Ingolia, we already have a plan for that. We are going to feed fake video footage to news channels showing a Willinkian tanker under fire from a jagadian surface ship, and this will be told to be a swift counter-attack following a Jagadian refusal to discuss peaceful means."

"Im Still not so sure about that, what if it is to be, say, disbelieved. What is your pla.."
Vice President Huges interrupted. "People, People, please, why worry about this now?"

All the members quieted down, with Ingolia still glaring at Michael White, who was showing off a sly smirk.

Neo-Jagada

The halls were darker these days. No, things hadn't been changed in the Imperial Palace, it was just for some reason darker. As if York's presence were corrupting the lighting of the once bright and mystic Palace. The Dark Lord himself walked threw the halls of this dark palace in his common attire of a black hat, black trenchcoat, and black pants and muscle shirt. Following behind him were two soldiers in GJAS 'Automail' suits. As he walked down the halls he appoarched a large iron door--the newly improved entrance to his War Room. Soldiers standing next to the doors immiedately opened the doors for the Dark Lord of Jagada.

As York entered the door there stood several figures--not all whom he expected. There was of coarse Undren, dressed in black armor. There also two other Field Marshals, along with Minister Shiverspawn--an icy man in terms of attitude, but extremely effcient in terms of Jagite Economics. York walked up to the group, all of them snapped to attention and gave a salute. York waved his hand to inform them to return to ease. York didn't say anything for a moment, but looked up a television screen in the room where it was turned to the Free Imperia News, the only news service of Old Jagada to survive the Jagite Extermination, covering a story. An oil tanker was smoking as it sank into the waters of some unknown ocean. The female reporter was saying something about Willink, a missile, and how those two somehow added up to a burning Jagite Oil Tanker. York looked back at his advisors.

"I assume this has to do with Willink?" he asked. They all nodded.

"Dark Lord, appearntly a Willikian Military vessel of some caliber attacked our oil tanker," said Undren, "For no appearnt reason."

"There is always a reason for things," replied Shiverspawn in an icy attitude.

York looked over at Shiverspawn, "Agreed. Willink and myself were never on good terms after the fallout of the Consortium of Shadows, when Green Sun decended into anarchy. This could be Willink seeing their chance to crush me. They always were lackies of Risban."

Undren noded, "Dark Lord York, I suspect they are going to take some kind of military retaliation. Willink wouldn't just sink our oil tanker just for the sake of doing so."

York looked at Undren, "Yes, Willink would. Though I do think there is something more darker at work here. Mobilization the military. Prepare for war."

"About that Dark Lord," said Undren lowering his head. York turned around with anger in his eyes.

Shiverspawn spoke up as if York's eyes didn't demand fear, "Dark Lord, we cannot support a war. Economically of coarse."

York raised an eyebrow at Shiverspawn, "Explain."

Shiverspawn coughed and pointing to a television sceen where it showed various graphs, numbers which were red, green, and even yellow. York assumed the red meant debt, the green meant profit, and yellow probably meant something about caution. "Dark Lord. Economically we cannot support a war beyond one years times. Our infastructure is based around reconstruction, not military armament. Our civilian population also won't be for a war in my opinion because while it creates jobs. It takes away jobs from vital parts of the civic economy. Meaning our transporation systems go under in a year, our communications, our arms industry, our crops, and our bio diseal production facilities. In brief, the State goes under and Willink can march in unopposed."

York growled, "I assume you have a plan to compensate for this Undren?"

Undren raised his head, "I've come up with something Dark Lord. Nothing in its final stages, but something."

The Field Marshal then pointed at another television screen which displayed a map of both Jagada and Willink, and the water that kept them apart. It shows ships moving via blue lines. Troops movements via red lines and other various markings. "Dark Lord, we can equipt the Navy to repel the invaders. We can send them out, luckily our ships are modern--to an extent. Though nothing that the Willinkians can handle. Our goal is to crush their naval forces. Then force them to a peace deal. We cannot support a ground invasion Dark Lord, as such would require a great deal from our economy--we simply cannot afford it."

York growled, "This is not the kind of war I wanted to fight. If we do this, we have to fight on Willink's terms. Something I'm not accustomed to."

Undren sighed, "Dark Lord...there is another...prehaps more risky option..."
