Captain Myrnar Webster walked along the cockpit of his modified YB-300 Heavy Freighter. This was his ship, His crew, His responsibility. He was the biggest Pirate this side of the galaxy. All governments have him wanted. The Empire was offering millions of credits and many Rogue Planet governments wanted him. He was a pirate. He had another ship across from him flying about. It was a Olanji Stalwart Class Freighter. They have raided many planets and pounced on many ships. They were deadly. As for now the ships fluttered in cloak as they looked for their next hit. The Captain sat and relaxed in his chair as they went on into the stars. He was just about to doze off when he saw a glimmer in the distance.

"Our Next money maker...." he mumbled to the pilot

Current Day
Nickel Seven recieved a transmission, it was from a covert op known as Pixious. It was coordinates. Everyone knew what they were, and no one was sure how she could possibly have secured a position on the notorious pirate ship. They were going to give the pirates a little fuck you gift. The Nofian Military, when they weren't hired out on jobs, would spend their time pirateing several sectors, when these so called bigshots cut into their territory they couldn't just let them be. Action would be taken, people would die, and money would be recieved by one party.

The jet black ship cruised through space, nearly invisible to the naked eye, it was shaped like a giant bottle. In addition to this form of camoflauge, it also had thermal masking, and could cloak for better obscurity.

Eighteen years ago
The screams from the institute could be heard day in and day out. Every child in the nation faced it. The Mercenary State of Nation of Fortune made sure it happened to every child. Taken from their homes at the age of three, and trained for every climate possible, trained to become lethal at any distance, beit with a rifle or in hand to hand combat. Trained to the limits of human capacity. Every child new the face of death, by the time they left, if they left, everyone would have killed someone, and they would have been beaten to an inch of their life too many times to count. Every soldier could fight proficiently when injured, although some were granted with a gift more so than others.

Nickel Seven was nearing her time in training, she was seven years old, and had struggeled like all the rest. She was genetically engineered at birth, and could heal wounds a thousand times faster than a normal person. She was near the top of her class, all the Genetically Engineered students always were. Her final trials proved successfull, and a new Nofian soldier was created.

Pixious was entered into her training. She was not engineered, but she was far from a normal student. In her head she had a computer implanted. The computer was easily visible on the outside of her head, it 'sprouted' out of her head, just above her ear, it then wrapped around her head, coming to her eye, where it split and went above and below. When she wished to use it a screen would materialize infront of her eye and she could control it using her mind. She would find it a usefull tool in the many spy missions she would host throughout her life.

Nine Years ago
Nickel Seven would lead her squad of ten into a fight outnumbered four to one, of which only she would walk out, missing an eye. The battle was long and intense, but she proved too much for the remaining six enemies when they all jumped her at once in hand to hand combat, even after one of them shoved some glass in her eye. Later she would be outfitted with an experimental synthetic eye that would allow for multiple different types of vision.

The modified Otari-class corvette Vigilance, boosted with the latest in new and deadly technologies to grace the Dominion, was the ship of Commander Ajunta Bane, the deadly mercenary captain hired out by Dominion military control for various anti-pirating actions. The pay was better than any crime boss could ever give, and Bane, being a former pirate, was skilled in all the deadliest arts. His ship was top of the line, capable of strategically engaging even dreadnoughts, with a mix of thermal, particle, and visual camoflauges to disguise it from view combined with a deadly array of strange, experiamental, and cutting-edge weaponry. The latest in trackers and scanners, from grav-wave anomoly traps to mass imaging, was strewn throughout the ship, fed by the two thermal anti-matter reaction generators that powered the ship. Even the crew was deadly: in addition to the standard fifty who manned the ship, one hundred-twenty assault soldiers lived on board the ship, armed and armored to the teeth and trained for the deadliest and most gruesome combat possible. Burning hot on the eight advanced ion-flash emission engines, developed to give the craft far greater speed than a general corvette, the ship was now hunting for the pirates who had mangled with the Dominion, in effect signing their own death warrants. The hunt would be long, but the Vigilance and her crew were the best of the best in the business.

The glimmer soon faded but it was all the YB-300 needed it had placed a track on the ship. It raced off toward the area of the light along with the Stalwart Class Freighter. The ships raced off still in cloak, shields beamed and weapons ready.

"This is Captain Webster...let's go make a living." he spoke through CommLink to the other ship and his own crew

“Captain, I’m not knowing what your talking about,” mumbled the green-skinned bartender.

“Oh I think you do,” Captain Telic placed a credit cit onto the bar, “Tell me about the YB-300 that was docked here yesterday.”

“Ah, the pirate ship, your not the first to be asking me about this I think,” smiled the alien, pushing the credits into his pocket. “They wouldn’t be letting the docking crews onboard, not many people do that anymore, they don’t… not after your clones smashed up that transport in the Silza system.”

“Police officers… please.”

“Whatever, blue and screw,” sneered the alien, as he nodded over towards the 2 armored men stood in the door way of the bar. “Those clones? I knows they are, makes the hairs stand up… its not being natural, no its not.”

“Anything else, Kela?” asked Captain Telic, not missing beat, “About the YB-300 this time.”

“Its Captain Myrnar Webster’s ship, but I’m guessing you would already be knowing that, blue and screw.”

“Did he…”

“Ha! No, the great Myrnar Webster would not dirty himself in a bar like mine,” Kela slapped the bar, “Talk to Donas at the Golden Brazr you be doing, if you be smart. He be knowing everything on this station…”

“I paid good money for a referral?” sneered Telic.

“You pay good money for letting clones dirty up the place,” said Kela, placing a datapad on the bar.

Captain Telic wiped his hand along the bar, cupping the datapad, “Its not the clones dirtying up the place.”

Telic exited the bar and nodded to the two armored men, both were nearly blue head to toe, it took a little getting used too.

“Prep the ship, we’ve got a lead,” smiled Telic.

The ships arrived at position but their track on the ship was lost as well as the ship. The boarding ram was unreadied the soldiers sat down and the Advanced Droiddeka (one of only 50 left) was out away with the RovTech droids.

"False Alarm..contact 'Homeworld' and let them know we may be back sooner than planned. We'll wait here for another 5 minutes see if the ship or the track reappears. Keep our other ships on stand bye." spoke Captain Webster

Bane strode on the cockpit, still on a hypercourse for the apparent track of the ship's course. He was impatient at this point in the game...the natural period for Bane. He always went from being impatient to downright savage, then, when the target was close and within range, smug and confident. Already his anger was brewing as he barked at one of his officers.

"How long to we emerge into realspace?"
"Five minutes, sir."
"And you said that these vandals will be there?"
"They should be sir, that was the last known coordinates. Or apparent coordiantes."
"They had better be there, for your sake!"

Bane sat down, a nasty snarl on his face as he relaxed for five minutes, the ship cruising through the blue void of hyperspace before finally emerging into the everlasting star-studded blackness.

"Run a gravcheck," ordered Bane as soon as the Vigilance emerged in-system, "in case he's got some sort of sensor cloak emitter on."

5 minutes had passed and the track did not come back. The two shipd began to head back to "homeworld" dissapointed in theirselves for not finding a catch. The ships sputtered into the black under cloak with all possible emitters and detectors known too man on.

“Is this it, a jump coordinate?” asked the guff looking Commander, who looked a bit too old for the rank.

“Is anything being picked up on the scanners?” asked Captain Telic, ignoring the Commander.

“No. Why are we out here?”

“My informant informed me that they use this as a navigation point, there might not be anything here at the moment, but if we wait…”

“…Wait! I’ve got things to do Captain, I’ve got a delivery of small arms to Tante IIV. The HMS Swan is not your personal shuttle.”

“Sir. I understand that, but the catch is worth the wait, think of the prize money for capturing Myrnar,” said Telic, shifting on his seat.

“Humpf… We’ll wait.”

"Picking up anything, yet, ensign?"
"Only a slight gravitational wave."
"What's around the area?"
"Nothing, sir...could just be a passing meteor or some space junk."
"Move us in closer, activate the active cloaking screen."
"Right away, sir."

The Vigilance blurred, then disappeared visually entirely, blended into the black backdrop. It moved forward towards the anomoly, slowly, cautious.

The ships fluttered off but then as they were about to go into Hyperspace a small lonesome fighter was seen not too far from them.

"HAHAHA boys we're back in buisness." spoke the Cap'n.

The ships still under cloak glided around it and began to circle it from a distance. Whether the small fighter knew it or not was yet to be seen.

The Nofian ship came to a rest a little bit ahead of the two pirate ships. Not having a clue where the ship was. Nickel paced back and forth on the ship. She knew they were around here, but just not quite sure where. She sent a transmission to Pixous.

"Barricade yourself in an area, and set it off."

Nickel looked at the captain, and said, "Home in on the tracking signal, and keep a good lock on it."

Nickel locked her battlesuits helmet on, and pressed several buttons. She was running down the hall, and talked into the ships intercom.

"Everyone, get ready to board the ship. Everything is standard procedure, lock onto the homing signaland get ready to board."

Aboard the Pirate ship

Pixious recieved the transmission sent to her, and she immediatly headed to her quarters.

"Crap, it's just a small fighter. Sorry captain."

At this point Bane was nearly fuming. The small fighter that had been picked up as the source of the gravity well was irritating him beyond belief. Now he would have to trace the last trails of the pirate vessel, see what he could glean from any local civilians, then scan the local area. A slow process.

"Keep the cloak on, I want to see what the fighter does."

The pirate ship's set up their Boarding rams respectively and got ready to attack the Fighter ahead. The YB-300 was first firing a Plasma canon blast straight into the Fighter's blind side. It then came out of cloak and sent out what looked to be a torpedo but was actually an Advanced Droideka. It flew out aiming for the enemy's hull.

((OOC: I dont' think anyone is in a fighter, but I could be wrong. My ship is cloaked, a bit infront of you, and locked onto a signal within your ship. My ship isn't so much a fighter, but it's true powers will be revealed shortly. The training of my soldiers comes into play heavily.))

Pixous took refuge in her room. The door sealed behind her, and she blocked the door up as best she could. She rummaged amongst her stuff and pulled several items out. A Nofian battle suit was the first, the second was her weapon, the final item was a black egg shaped object. She grabbed the egg and after several seconds a broad signal any ship could pick up was sent out.

Not far away the Nofian ship came out of cloak, and hundereds of smaller ships burst out of the sides. These smaller ships were fast, but lightly armored, several direct hits would render them useless.

The Stalwart class cruiser instantly moved out of the way and readied a a plasma cannon blast at the small ships. This would surely hit most of them but few would be left, if the shot was dead-on. As for the YB-300 it rocked the little fighter hard. The fighter than began an attempt to limp away but to know avail as the YB-300 blasted it again. This paralyzed the ship as it than stopped and floated. At that moment a small ship carrying 3 people and an Advanced Droideka came out of the YB-300 and flew over too the Fighter. It then latched onto the fighter and carried it back to the YB-300. All the meanwhile the Stalwart Class Cruiser took it's aim and fired at the small ships.

The smaller ships spread out quickly, surrounding the larger ship as quickly as possible. Small quick targets easily avoiding smaller weapons fire. A second wave of ships burst out of the Nofian ship, and a majority of them were obliterated by the blast that came from Stalwart Cruiser. This second wave of ships was intended to draw the fire away from the main boarding ships. These decoy ships flitted around in the immediate space, making more obvious targets than the other ships that were now begginning to attach to the cruiser.

The ships even spread themselves throughout the surface of the ship. They attached with a loud clang, and an airtight seal was made. On the inside of the ship, a red circle of about seven feet in diameter was begining to form, where each of these ships had attached. Shortly explosives would be placed, and a perfect circle would form for entry.

All of the Nofian soldiers wore their battlesuits (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v650/deathwitharifle/Battlesuit.jpg), and awaited for the automation to end so entry could begin.

Watching the combat, Bane smiled. It was combat at the least, and possibly the stuff they were looking for.

"Target the larger ship," Bane ordered, "and arm weapons. Decloak and fire all batteries."

The ship shimmered back into view, a little farther of than the Nofian ships, then bracketed all guns on the Stalwart cruiser. The craft nearly bucked as the twenty turrets of the advanced corvette fired off energy projectiles and torpedo volleys, quickly powering up for another shot. From the single hanger bay, a squadron of assault fighters and three gunships blasted out, armed down with torpedoes.

The stalwart cruiser panicked. It then slapped into Hyperdrive 7 but at the same time used its backward thrusters and emergency brakes causing the ship to rip the space time continium around it but not in it. At that moment the enemy ships latched on to the ship began disinigrating. Then the soldiers in the Stalwart cruiser burst into the cockpit. The the pilot hit a glowing red button under the dash of the Spaceship and the ship then lit on fire and exploded in the rip of space. Not a word of it was heard. The screams fell short and the terror was never to be forgotten for it was ... never heard.

"Somewhat, captain, we can probaly recover it's projected destination."
"Then get on it, damnit!"

The captain of the ship that had released all the smaller ships stopped, he realized that the ship had been destroyed, and he knew there was nothing that could be done about it. Pixious, Nickel Seven, they were both dead. The other ship had dissapeared to top it off. He then noticed another ship in the sector. He reached for his radio.

"Unidentified ship, this is Flaming Ninja Death's ship, The Everlasting Pearl. We were hunting those pirates as well, perhaps we should make a proposition that will ensure the capture of the pirates."

"Well, My ship is kind of undercrewed at the moment, but if you could bring those of us that are left on the bridge to a certain place, I assure you, hte government I work for is more than capable of finding out where these pirates stead home. I also know for a fact with certain actions the pirates took moments ago, my nation would be more than willing to supply enough troops to raze a planet." The captain replied. He knew the the MSoNoF would be willing to destroy half the galaxy to kill the pirates after they killed Pixious and Nickel Seven. Finding the pirates hideaway was easy for the nation, being so interwined with the blackmarket.

The YB-300 dropped out of warp. It then descended unto the small red a green swirled planet. Upon landing the immobilizeed fighter was spit out. The pilot was extracted and then shot in the face. The captain of the Nofian ship saw the two ships coming. He knew his ship couldn't move, and was hoping the still unidentified ship could manage.

He quickly called for one of the crew member's to send the video recording to NoF. The message was sent, and even if they were destroyed NoF would know, and would find out. They would also do their best to identify the ship of the other pirate hunter and contact them, see if a deal could be worked out.

"Open fire, but continue to use evasive manuevers," he ordered back, "and get a full Order of Battle for this...I want evidence, enseign!"
The gunships and fighters had returned to the hanger as the corvette hightailed it away from the two capital ships, energy projectiles firing again and again from top-mounted turret cannons, positron torpedos spewing forth.

In the last seconds of the small Nofian ship, the message was recieved that they accepted. A short reply was sent.

"Shadows of hell. Valerie."

That was all the message said, there wasn't time for anything else. They were non existant after they sent the message.

The Dominion of Amazonian Beasts
In the worst part of the capital city was a bar, nothing more than a front for the black market. It was called the Shadows of Hell, they had one set up on every civilized planet, and not far from every space outpost. Each one bore the same name, but they were each different in their own way. In order to mae contact with NoF one had to pass a simple test, it was common knowledge in NoF what the keywords to enter were, but if a dire situation were to arise, a different, but as well known, keyword would be passed to a foreigner.

The ISD's were not even scratched by the fire that smacked its shields. The Captain yawned. They targeted the Corvette on its way out and began to speed up with it. The corvette was making good progress on the ISDs, thrusters burning as it dodged and weaved around laser bolts, some of the fire hitting the light craft's shield bank, sparking and cracking against the energy wall. Torpedos and cannon fire volleyed back at the ISDs in response.

"How long 'till we're good for a hyperjump?" asked Bane. He wasn't sweating yet.
"Thirty seconds, sir." replied one of the bridge officers.

Bane relaxed now, watching his return fire stream back at the ISDs. Turbolasers were a persistent threat he'd dealt with a lot...their threat didn't bother him. However, he did know that the sheer amount of fire from the battlecruisers would eventually overwhelm his smaller ship, but it wasn't much of an issue to him once he reached jump distance.

"Are the engines primed for hyperspace?"
"Yessir, ready on your command."
"Jump us to the nearest Dominion orbital station."
"Calculating Raxus Station...initiating jump!"

With a burst of light, the corvette turned, engines burning white for a split-second as the corvette leaped off from realspace to the swirling depths of hyperspace.

The hyperspace jump was fairly uneventful, despite the fuming and angry Bane who paced around the bridge, his eyes burning from crewmember to crewmember. This incident wouldn't give anything good to his reputation of being one of the best...and he was dependant on that reputation to get him all the freebees the Dominion handed out in exchange for big-name criminals.

"We're coming out of hyperspace, Captain." reported an officer meekly, not looking for the wrath of the captain.

Bane was off in his own world somewhat, and simply gazed off for a few seconds before acknowledging the report.

"Ah, yes. Send a comm to Raxus Station that we need resupply and board once we get out into realspace."
"Yessir."

The Vigilance pulled out over Raxus VII, the large, black, geometric mass of Raxus Station in orbit, one of the top hubs of Dominion military intelligence in the Outer Colonies. The Vigilance had made good time, quickly getting from the combat zone to the station. Coming out from the image of the large desert planet was the Vigilant-class Star Dreadnought Chaos and the two Legacy-class Battleships Ravager and Antagonist. The Chaos quickly established comm.

Attention, unidentified craft, state your identity and purpose.

The message and videos returned to the Nofian home planet, where some peon would receive it. The peon watched the video, and read the message. Everyone in the nation knew who Nickel Seven was, but only those with high clearence knew about Pixious. The message relayed everything Pixious had discovered about the pirates in her short time aboard, although it lacked any knowledge about their base planet. A short quip was added on the end about an unidentified ship that was willing to help. He set several men to decipher where the ship was from.

He knew this took top priority, and would interest the Nofian leader heavily. He started down the hall at a light jog, carrying the data in his hand. He shortly came to the leaders office, he knocked on the door.

"Enter," came a booming voice after a slight pause.

The soldier entered cautiously, being wary for traps. He could see the silhouette of their leader, Manthren, outlined by the light, and over looking the capital, Madra City. Among the streets lines of men could be seen snaking throughout them as their citizens went through their morning Physical Training regime. Further off, away from the city, explosions could be seen as others learned how to improvise, and properly use explosives.

"Sir, I recieved this video and message a few minutes ago, and came here to show you."

"Let me see the video," the video was played, and Manthren showed no interest.

"Insolent fool, what makes you think I care about the loss of a ship."

The soldier stood his ground, he knew that Manthren was just trying to get him to break, "It wasn't the ship I thought you would be interested in, it was who was aboard. Nickel Seven, and someone named Pixious were both lost."

Manthren stood silent, he knew that an invasion by themselves would be risky, but once they were on land they were golden, and couldn't be defeated, but on the other hand he couldn't let the death of these two go unavenged.

The soldier chose then to interupt his thoughts, "Sir, the report also says something about an unidentified ship that has the desire to see these pirates gone. There was no positive ID yet, but I have set people to identify the ship."

"Tell them to work faster, and also, find out where this planet is. Money talks, and we practically own the black market. Send out orders prepare troops for a full scale invasion."

"Yes Sir!" The solder said and turned around, leaving the office, contacting whoever he needed along the way.
