Milky Way Galaxy - Abydos - Orbit - Exterior

The SeaQuestian Empire had sent the Anubis and the Golden Path to this desert planet belonging to the nation of Supreme System Lord Ra that had been provided for this celebration.

I.S.S. Golden Path - Main Bridge

"Is everything ready?"

"Yes, sir. The designated landing site is locked into the computer. All we have to wait is for the invited delegates. Those that choose to could land with us, or find their own way down."

"I know the plan. Of course, no shame in making sure everyone else does."

"Aye, sir."

A message was sent out inviting the member nations of the UEO and the GFFA to the celebration. Co-ordinates were provided encoded with the message as were the Stargate Glyphs for the planet if they choose to come that way.

Grand Palace, Tannishar, Swords Hall:
"I never thought you could you could use a sword this well." Adrian said as he swung his sword towards his opponent. "I had no choice, when you join the armed forces you have to pick a mêlée weapon to train with. I choose the sword and I excelled." Supreme Admiral Rastarn Smyth said as he blocked the blow. "Well then, I guess I've met my match." Adrian said as he swung again. "To slow, I'm afraid." Rastarn replied as he flicked Adrian's sword out of his hand. "And I do believe that I have won." Rastarn said with a smile. It was then that an aid came into the room carrying a message. After reading the message, Adrian dismissed the messenger and sat against the wall. "Whats wrong?" Rastarn asked "I have to see my father, and don't think your getting off easy, you have to see him as well." Adrian said in an tired voice. "Whats so bad about that?" Rastarn asked. "I've got the felling we will be going to some diplomatic event. Most probably a boring one."

Grand Palace, Tannishar, Throne Room:
Adrian, Rastarn and both of his sisters, Ariana and Ralana stood infront of the great throne. Sitting there was the emperor him self. He did not look in the best shape ether, mainly due to the fact that he had recently been diagnosed with a rare and inoperable cancer. "So what are we all doing here father?" Adrian asked quietly. "You are going to a celebration being hosted by SeaQuest. You depart in six hours so start getting ready." The emperor said.

Message sent to SeaQuest:
We would be glad to attend this celebration and a delegation is already on route.

From the Emperor Rax, of Tannishar.

"So it's a party in SeaQuest is it?" Dusanyu was looking down at the transmission he had just received from the capital.

Kenesh was standing by his side as well. "So it would seem and it also appears that there will be first encounter situations as well. I don't recognize many of these names of nations."

"Indeed. I suppose that's why the Emperor has sent us."

The Sankau formed a jump gate at the verge of Abydos. The Abh ship now upgraded with Claudia engines, glided without a sound or trace of engine emission. A message was sent to the leaders of the planet there.

This is Lord Dusanyu of the Abh Empire requesting permission to land for this celebration.

"Yes, sir. Its set-up and ready to go. It will auto-transmit to any newly arriving craft."

Broadcast to all ships within the system's Oort Cloud:

Welcome to the planet Abydos. This Class H world was provided by the nation of Supreme System Lord Ra for us to host this celebration on. We will now transmit the co-ordinates that we have set-up at on the surface. Depeding on your technology, you can use them as beam down or landing co-ordinates.

Hope you brought plenty of sunscreen. The desert sun can be quite intense.

I.S.S. Golden Path - Observation Bridge

"Ahh, I see our guests have started to arrive."

"Very true. Of course, its only once in a nation's history that the breach the one billion population mark."

"Quite true. A very momentous(sp?) occasion. Prep the ship for landing."

"Aye, sir. As you wish."

The plan was for the Golden Path to land in the Cheop class's usual grandeouse fashion after the representatives from the other nations had already landed or beamed down to the surface.

Dusanyu and Kenesh both boarded a shuttle and headed down to the planet by following the coordinants that were sent.

The G.F.S. Silverwind (http://www.gundamofficial.com/worlds/ce/mechanics/images/ship_silverwind_a.gif) dropped to sub-light flanked by two Eternal class (http://www.gundamofficial.com/worlds/ce/mechanics/images/ship_eternal_a.gif) warships.

The three ships slipped into the formation of ships already in orbit around Abydos. Once in position, the SeaQuestian automated message was acknowleged.

A small shuttle left the Silverwind and headed planetside towards the designated co-ordinates.

The small craft lightly touched down on the dirt. Kenesh and Lord Dusanyu both descended the stair case that had extended from the back of the communications vessel. Blue strands of hair gently blue in the breeze along with Dusanyu's cape. Hopefully their arrival would mark an opening of relations between two alliances.

"Welcome to Abydos," said Bridger as he stepped foward and bowed in greeting, "allow me to introduce my children, Prince Phobos," Phobos stepped foward and bowed, "and Princess Elyon," Elyon stepped up and curtsied, "behind them are Lord Cedric and Lord Raiden, their guardians."

Dusanyu saluted along with Kenesh. "I am Praetor Dusanyu and this is my Chief of Staff Kenesh."

Kenesh bowed slightly. "An honor to meet you all."

OOC: Post to confirm that I will come in to this, not enough time right now, probably tommorrow.

As the formalities were over, Elyon went over to a group of girls who were around the same age as her that were waiting underneath a tent. All six took off their shoes and socks and began racing each other around the desert while an elderly woman (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/The_Illuminati_Orb/Character%20Pics/yan20lin20coeur.jpg) and Raiden.

Phobos and Cedric went over to the area under one of the awnings and sat down.

"As it is to meet you," replied Bridger, "the Abh nation certainly is punctual. Not only was your ship the first to arrive, you are also the first ones to make planetfall. Planet Zi's representative should be close behind," a lazy smile passed across his face as he saw Elyon and her friends race past a dozen meters behind the Abh representatives, "If you don't mind me asking, Praetor, but do you have any children?"

A lone Muhorta class (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/The_Illuminati_Orb/Schematics/scout.jpg) scout cruiser emerged in a flash of light from a Mage Jump. After an acknowledgement of the SeaQuestian auto-mated greeting message, the crystaline ship descended into the atmosphere.

The Muhorta landed five-hundred meters to the port of the Abh shuttle. The ship's ramp descended and out came the Dragonlords Eragon (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/The_Illuminati_Orb/Character%20Pics/DragonlordEragon.jpg) and Lleld Kememberane. The two jogged over to where the SeaQuestian Emperor and the Abh represenatives were standing.

"Greetings," said Eragon, "I'm Dragonlord Eragon and this is Dragonlord Lleld Kememberane. We are here to represent the Saethe of the nation of Dragon Emperor."

Dusanyu was a caught off guard a bit by the forward question though he didn't show it whereas Kenesh's pale cheeks reddened somewhat. The Abriel was collective enough to answer though. "No not as of yet. I am only 165 years old afterall but I'm sure it will happen sometime soon."

Kenesh was quite thankful for the new delegate to arrive so she could remove herself from this particular conversation. She saluted the dragon lord. "I am Senior Officer Kenesh and this at my side is Lord Dusanyu of the Abh Empire."

Lleld was about to sarcastically return the salute, but switched the movenment to running her hand through her hair after she noticed the look Eragon was giving.

Eragon turned and, with a look on his face that was obviously of one who had seen many things, said, "Pleasure to meet you. Oh and call me Eragon. No need to stick with formal titles."

"Some races would consider that quite old," replied Bridger, "species like humans, for example.

"As for my age, I stopped counting long ago. Not enough room on the cake for all the candles anyways."

Dusanyu laughed. "I have heard of those traditions though the Abh do not typically celebrate a birthday in that fashion. As for age, we can live to about 300 years on average assuming that we die of natural causes."

Kenesh dropped the salute. "And I am Kenesh though I would recommend calling his Highness by anthing else."

"Sometimes," Bridger replied, "one relishes all the good times they can get in this chaotic universe.

"Oh, if you're hungry," he pointed to a near-by area covered by an awning, "a buffet table with snacks was set-up over their. Though keep room for the main course being served when the party starts tonight. Best time, really, on a desert planet."

"Oh that reminds me. I can't believe I nearly forgot this." Dusanyu reached around and pushed his cape aside to reveal a jug that was hanging off the end of his belt next to the command saber.

"I brought a bottle of Boggle for the party. Very strong liquor. Humans tend to get drunk off one glass so go easy on it."

"There are no humans in the SeaQuestian empire," Bridger responded, "of course, Alterans could be called highly advanced humans evolution wise."

"Well then perhaps you may be able to suffer a few drinks then. For the Abh, it is genetically impossible for us to get drunk so any liqour that we make tends to be quite strong. Hopefully everyone will keep their right state of mind."

Bridger nodded.

"Please know," he said, "I meant no disrespect with the age comment.

"As for drinks," he shrugged, "I prefer coffee. Never really developed a taste for alcholic beverages."

He gestured towards the refreshment tent.

"Care to join me for some herbal tea?"

"Not at all. We do not look at age as an offensive matter. It merely marks where we are in our lives. As far as a drink of herbal tea, I wouldn't mind in the least."

Tel Quessir Court
"Your highness, apparently the palace communications network has been down for a while. We just got a message from SeaQuest that was sent quite a bit ago. We are invited to a party celebrating their reaching one billion in population." The king nodded. "Prepare the Keeneyes I will depart immediately."

A small ship slowly appeared in the system, emitting blue light that slowly subsided. It went towards the planet, requesting permission to land.

The Novaens had been in discussions with the Tidani's and Seaquestrians for quite some time about the GFFA. And finally, with the approval of the GFFA council they where admitted. However only Seaquest and Tidan had actually met the Noveans face-to-face. So once they heard about the Seaquestrian gala, it was a great opportunity for the Novaens to introduce themselves. It was decided that a small delegation. would attend. Randall Jackson, Prime Minister of Nova Bazalonia, James Hawdon, Military Commander. and Minister of Foreign Relations, David Conal.

They sent a message to the Seaquestrians announcing that they are coming and dialed the first stop on their Stargate jump around the galaxy before dialing the sequence for Seaquests Home System.

The Three of them steped out of the Stargate on Abydos and they where in the reception area of all visitors that came through the stargate.

Lleld grew bored and wondered off to explore. Even though both Dragonlords, Eragon most of all, were in the multiple centuries of age, Lleld still liked to get her nose in things.

OOC: Ehh, just arrive and land, you two. No need to go through the RP'ing of getting landing clearance and co-ordinates.
@NB: Just to make it clear, Abydos isn't my homeworld. Its Supreme System Lord Ra's. He's just letting me borrow it.

IC: As soon as they Novaens had stepped out of the Stargate, which was on the Goa'uld controlled half, they were beamed over to the location where the party was being held.

Bridger nodded and gestured at a free table.

"Have a seat," he said, "and I'll bring it right over."

Dusanyu nodded and waved Kenesh over. They sat down together and waited for Bridger to return with a cups of tea.

After a few minutes of puttering around under the refreshment tent, Bridger returned with a hover trolley with several cups, enough for everyone there and more, a pot of lemon tea, several cookies, and a complete tea set made out of shaped and carved Naquadah.

"I brought everything we should need," he said, "as I didn't know how you took your lemon tea, which was the only one ready at the time."

Kenesh smiled. "This is fine. The most common tea that we drink is herbal but this should be fine. What kind of cookis are these?"

Once the three of them arrived from the Stargate they didn't have long to look at what was around them as they where whisked away from the room to where the party was held.

They where abit disconserted from the teleport, they where totally unused to such technology.

"Uh, Hi, We're Novaens" splurted out David Conal before his mind had a chance to pull itself together.

Orbit:
The Dreadnaught exited hyperspace. No visible markings were visible upon the amour, but any fleet captain would be able to identify the Dreadnaught as the Eternal. Onboard Adrian looked out upon the planet revolving below the ship. "So this is the planet. It doesn’t look like much." Adrian said with a sneer. "So when are we going to the surface?" "As soon as the shuttle is ready." Said a person standing behind him.

Surface:
The shuttle settled down on a landing pad. The Tannisharians stepped out and waited for someone to welcome them.

Lord Raiden greeted the Tannisharians and the Novaens.

He said, to the Novaens, "Sorry about the transport, but we only were given use of this planet on the condition we stay off of the other side of the planet, which is where the Stargate is, for the duration of this event."

He looked at both groups.

"By the way, I'm Raiden."
