(OOC: I personally think time-travel is a GM, but just for the heck of it 'cause I'm bored...)

IC: The Empire, speaking on behalf of the Republic, hereby condemns the use of this time machine. The ability to travel throughout time gives too many variables that could destroy entire civilizations without even intending to do so. It is a menace and must be banned.

OOC: Time travel is a huge enough thing on its own, most things involving it focus on it entirely. You rarely ever see a sci-fi setting where both interstellar travel and time travelling co-exist, because it's too much high tech to handle. The idea of a nation happily selling off something like this is quite far fetched - why sell it when you could make more money just by using it? And if you can affect the future by going into the past with this, why give other people that kind of capability?

That's not to say that a timetravel rp on here wouldn't be fun, it would just take a lot more thought than usual.

We do not care if you make extensive background checks, any little tremor in the timeline, even of someone on the other side of the galaxy, could have catastrophic effects on the entire universe. These machines must be destroyed, and the technology erased and banned.

While the United States will urge this nation, to please stop selling devices, and please allow inspectors in to his felicities that use these devices, we believe it is his right to continue making or using these devices.

If the nation of Taledonia in any way threatens this countries sovereignty, or threatens this nation with use of military force, the United Sates will intervene on this nation’s behalf.

the facilties were solar powered and very close to a star so i just send it into the sun. all the tech involed and the data have been destroyed, so unless you have a time machine,you can not get the data.
