Also I'm not that kind of RPer, and yes MP5 would still be around just most likely on a highly illegal Black Market that of course the Rebels would be a part of just never mentioned in HL2 the game.

Anyways I know a lot about the HL world, played both and beat both, and I'm just about as realistic a player you can get.

Only problem is, no one is really signing up.
