the Tairo was holding a cabinet meeting when the order for the starfighters was being discussed.

Aiko Fujiwaki looked over the techinal specs of the fighters and asked for an explanation that even she could understand.

the female General Alyssa Omura said to her leader "Madam Tairo, we've been looking for a starfighter that can give us advance warning of attacks, aid the exploration fleet and give the defence fleet a longer reach.

This SF-16's are good all round starfighters, have a limited FTL drive and can have stealth and cloaking technology. all the things we would need and we won't have to develop these ourselves"

"General Omura, you've convinced me but we also need two of the carrier variants of the Kagemon class ready quickly. I know theres hulls ready to be used so convert two of those to save time since each carrier will have 25 of these on board as well as the warp shuttles and normal shuttles.

I want a report on the readiness of these ships by this time next week" Aiko says as she signs the orders.

General Omura sends comfirmation of the order by a secure data signal to the UWAC and the wheels are set in motion.

she starts work on the report and picks out two likely looking starship hulls to work with.

Looking over the plans she sees that the carrier class ships are one huge hanger decks and built like an old fashioned nuclear aircraft carrier. they were warships but had the capacity to explore as well. the hulls would need to be extended but this could be done at this stage.

One carrier would stay with the defence fleet and the other would go to the exploration fleet.

This order will take around 6 months to complete, plus transport time, payment will be made on delivery.

We also need flight simulator software, a few two seat training versions and instructors than can teach our flight instructors in the operation of this starcraft.
