I am Abbot Mencius Merton, Chief Servant of the Essene Community of the White-Robed Monks. I am proposing an Alliance, or perhaps more appropriate, a Community of those who might be interested in coming together to unite in the formation of a body whose main interest is Spiritual Belief Systems.

It has become apparent over the years that we in NS have quite a diversity of religious beliefs: Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Zen, Tao, and a host of others.

This Community would not necessarily be an alliance of nations, but a corporate community who would gather to discuss beliefs, both spiritual and practical.

If there are any groups out there who would be interested, please post your interest.

The goal of this pact is to bring together the various belief systems on NS, discuss the similarities, and try to understand the differences. Our task will be to "agree to disagree without being disagreeable".

BTW, we too have a sort of 'warrior caste'. TWRM have several thousand monks trained in the various oriental disciplines of self defense, as well as modern stealth and reconnaisense methods.

Your involvement is simply to contribute to the discussions, and to find peaceful solutions to potentially agressive situations.

Only when we have left the physical realm can we truly become one with the spiritual one. Those destroyed by the gods shall be truly blessed.
