It was 3:00 in the morning. Nobody was out. Everybody was in bed.
And all along the major highways, a massive convoy of vehicles was on the move. Hundreds, if not thousands of URAL-43206 Cargo Trucks were moving up and down the freeway, flanked by many more M998 Humvees.
All across the Principality they moved. To every city and town they went, stopping outside town halls and other governmental buildings. There, under cover of darkness, large numbers of wooden crates were unloaded.
These crates had no markings, no indication as to where they came from. No only thing that set them apart was the number 76 stamped upon the side.
Nobody was awhere of what had happened. As far as the public was concerned, the events of that night never took place.
"Have they all been distributed?" asked an anxious voice.
"Yes sir." came the reply.
There was a sigh of relief. "Thank God it's over with. If there was a problem..." the voice trailed off.
"No problems at all sir. They've all been delivered. All the appropriate people have been informed as to what they should do."
"Good, good." came the voice, relieved, but still worried. "I just hope that it'll never come down to this."
"So do I sir. So do I."
