Democracy has caused squibbling amost the universe for years. To maintain peace in the universe we must destroy it! The people make all the wrong choices,the have clouded and biased ideas but a dictator can make it for them! this will simplify things imensely. We should have total control of things. When this happens and everybody is like us then there will be peace.

Even though Pythogria IS a dictatorship, we are also a democracy (partly). Total dictatorships simply do not work. Thus, I must oppose this alliance.

Well, we basically elect a Supreme General every four years. He/she has power within the bounds of a strict constitution and cannot change 3/4 of the laws. He may be overridden and impeached via democratic vote at any time.

Dictatorships may work, even quite well, but dictators pay for their little pleasure with their heads. Democracy allows a peaceful change of government and its agenda.
On the other hand, I wouldn't mind a feudal monarchy. I might have to kiss butt to get made a noble, but everyone under me would also have to kiss butt. ;)
