As we know, the Zoroastrian clerics have begun to feel as if they deserve more power. Lately, the High Cleric, Adam Seritus has begun calls for the overthrow of the Empire.
While we must recognize that Zoroastrianism is the main religion of the empire
we must take agressive measures on clerics who advocate the overthrow of the government.
I will send one platoon of our elite Blackwolf Guards to deal with this mess.

Today, our Imperial Emperor has decided to deal with the arrogant clerics once and for all. However, as the Security Service, or SS, attempted to arrest the clerics, massive public demonstrations drove them out. In the resulting gun battle, three civillians have been killed.
We trust that the High Emperor can deal with this uprising.

Rapahel Soroas took a look at the mob in the streets. Gunshots filled the air as members of the Blackwolf Guards and the fantical mob battled in the streets.
A civillian who felt no need to join either side, he sat down for a quiet supper of beef and bread. Suddenly, there was a banging on the door.
"Who is it?"
The door crashed open as the SS stormed in his dingy apartment.
Stunned by the visitors, Rapahel mangaed to stammer, "What is this?"
A 7-ft tall soldier, his face impassive, with the the SS logo- a wolf running- simply answered,
"You are Raphael Soroas, are you not?"
"Yes"
"You are a member of the Zoroastrian Church, which has now been declared in exile by his Imperial Self?"
"Yes"
"Do you have a copy of the Avesta?"
"Yes"
"Bring it here."
His hands shaking, Raphael handed the book over. Examining it, the soldier snorted, took out a lighter, and lit the book.
"You are hereby deported to the gulags for 6 months. Take him away."
Stunned, Rapahel was herded out the door. He managed to cry,

Petrov: As of currently, we can see that there are massive demonstrations in Amor, with gunfights between the SS and this mob. We have lost now about 47 men, and have killed about 300 members of the mob. I must add that the mob continues to grow more angry as we attempt to exterminate it.
Tenarius: Thank you. Bernard Poitrev, as the governor of the city of Thenas, what have you say?
Poitrev: They say that Seritus has appeared here, as massive, but peaceful demonstrations have also broken out here. They however are calling forthe overthrow of the Empire, which is to be replaced with a Zoroastrian Republic.
Tenarius: The scum mean a fundamentalist state. Interior Minister, what are your recommendations?
Interior Minister Satoru Morihume: We have only one choice, my Lord; the Rebellion must be crushed.
Tenarius: Very well, it is decided. Meeting adjourned.


2 hours later, Emperor Tenarius declared a State of Emergency, and has decided to mobilize the highly efficient Imperial Army to quell the uprising. The troops will arrive in Amor tomorrow night.

A gigantic uprising has occured in the city of Tarentum. The governor has been removed, and the Zoroastrian Republic has been proclaimed by revolutionaries. Itis said that Seritus will be heading there.

It had been a long day for Thomas Karther.
As servant to the High Cleric Adam Seritus, Karther had seen much in his 64 years, but he never seen anything like what had appeared now.
Seritus was in a private armored car heading toward Tarentum, where the Republic had been proclaimed. The news had been good. There was little of the infighting that Seritus was afraid of. Moreover, 3 hours ago, the mob at Amor had come very close to storming the Imperial Palace. The Emperor himself had left, and the Government had moved the city to Sarpta.
Tired from the long day, Karther decided to take a nap.

Four hours later, he woke up. The car was now 5 hours away from Tarentum.
Something wasn't right- Seritus always had his breakfast at 7:15 sharp.
He must be sleeping- time to wake him.
Karther walked in the private compartment- and stopped short.
After staring for 2 minutes, all he could do was scream.


On the News...
Today, High Cleric Adam Seritus was murdered as he travelled to Tarentum.
There is little doubt that agents of the Emperor had worked on this. In Seritus's will, the new High Cleric, Richard Einzdreft, has now been proclaimed President of the Zoroastrian Republic. Revolts now have spread all thoroughout the Eastern part of the Empire, while the West and North remain loyal to the Emperor.
Imperial Emperor Tenarius has vowed that he will crush the uprising and will "invoke a hell like no other" on the rebels.

Spit: While the Imperial Navy has few surface ships, it does have a gigantic submarine fleet. (about 145)
Most are diesel-electric submarines, 85m by 8m by 3 m, with a crew of 60.
They can dive up to 500m and their oxygen supply is 3 days. They are trained to avoid radar. Crews are highly trained, but have little experience at actual fighting.
Weapons: 25 torpedoes, and 3 SAM missiles. Some Mines.


Reports have been surfacing that a belligerent foreign power would strike soon have been dismissed by Tenarius as "religous shaman jokes'.
The Western half of the Empire have now fallen for the most part to the Zoroastrian Republic. This region is primarily the major iron and wheat producers of the Empire, but it possesses relatively few major cities, such as Tarentum and Croton.

Artillery bombardment and airstrikes of the highly advanced Air Force have begun on the Zoroastrian Republic. It is war. :mp5:

The News...
As Emperor Arthur Tenarius declared war on the ZAFT commanders, the Imperial Navy, while inflicting minor losses, has been badly beaten. The Imperial Air Force, highly advanced is now ready and raving to fight the invaders.
Because of the imminent invasion, the bombardment of the Zoroastrian Republic has been called off. Religous troops have now begun to invade the Empire, but have been stopped by temporary defensive works.

The Clerics have lost some support due to their recruitment of the ZAFT fleet however, and the city of Capua has now backlashed against the revolutionaries and declared their loyalty to the Emperor.

However, Tarentum, Croton, and Amor remain loyal to the Republic.

Fleet Captain Joseph McGroove analyzed the disaster that was occuring. The submarines had been caught completely off guard, and while they put up a valiant fight, many of them were instantly destroyed.
Looking a the map, McGroove gave the order for the subs to fire all SAM missiles to repel the aircraft.
Although he couldn't win, McGroove wanted to take out as many aircraft as possible so theImperial Air Force could destroy them.
After all, they would run out of fuel sooner or later.
That's when he saw an Imperial Raptor take off, and his heart swelled with pride.

noting the strange aircraft, Imperial pilots have been placed on Red Alert.
Operation Falcon Dive has begun, as Imperial heavy guns blasted Zoroastrian Defenders to shreds. Despite stubborn resistance by the rebels, Imperial troops have marched and completely kept Capua safe from the rebel siege it had endured.
However, the rebels have built the Armhzud Line, which initial probes have resulted disastrously for Imperial tanks. The 25-mm cannons are no match for the anti-tank weapons of the rebels.
Meanwhile, dogfights between the IAF and the ZAFT has resulted in a stalemate, with losses heavy on both sides. However, ZAFT has greater logistical problems than the IAF.

Pilot Matthew Shepard cruised over the so-called Freedom carrier group.
"Riduculous, these invaders. How they call themselves liberators? Those damn idiot clerics. Don't they know they will be puppets of ZAFT if they win?"
His blood boiling, Shepard cursed, but he quickly calmed himself. Get angry ina dogfight and you're screwed. Here goes.

The F-16 soared down in a steep dive. Missiles are ready. The missiles fired, and the carrier received a hit. It wouldn't greatly hurt it, but oh well.

a anti missile anti aircraft system of ZAFT's called CIWS opened fire intercepting the lone missile and teh carriers escort ships fired anti air missiles as Vosgulov-class attack submarines came to the surface and fired anti air missiles as well as artilery missiles and torpedos out of there 12 torpedo tudes problems with ZAFT weapons were happening due to no sky hawks support so the carriers launched some with a group of fighters soon after ZAFT weapons were more accurate

The Imperial Emperor expresses his gratitude at the offer and is willing to accept. If you are willing to aid us against the rebels and ZAFT, then I shall be more pleased.

IAF Commander Gregory Poitrev analyzed his map. Having sent 75% of his planes to fight the invaders, he was beginning to receive reports of low fuel. It would be too dangerous to refuel and rearm all of the planes at once.

That's when he noticed something- some of the ZAFT planes weren't there. This called for a daring try-but would it work?
Reaching for his command telephone, Poitrev issued a general order to the IAF:
"Remaining planes are to be all ready for take-off in 20 minutes. All planes on air except Battle Group K are to report for refueling. I repeat, all planes in the air, attempt to make it to refuelling depots. If you cannot bail out."
Having completed the general order, he then went on a more secure connection.
"Group K, you know what you must do."
"Roger. It is the will of the Emperor."
Group K now prepared for a rather sneaky little tactic. A tactic used by Japanese armies nearly 80 years ago...

Meanwhile, stalemate has erupted between Imperial and Rebel forces. Rebel forces are now hard at work creating a stable government, with Richard Einzdreft as High Cleric and President of the Republic. Tarentum and Amor are beginning to calm down somewhat.

what was not noticed was that a sky blazer was going in vary low near the refueling dump its armorments were set on a timer it reached the dump and pulled up dropping the time bombs set for 30 sec into the middle of two large refuleing area's and a pipeline

Pilot: woooohoooo....ah crap am hit am hit..........attempting to make it to the carrier

OOC: am going to have a couple of the bombs misfire so that the whole dump is not blown up just the larger area's so it will take longer for you to refuel

Imperial Champion Tanks have now launched Operation Black Storm, a attempt made to smash the Rebel forces for good. The result has been a minor success with a tiny-breach in the Armhzud line.
A Constitution has been written and is undergoing review by the Clerics of the Zoroastrian Republic.

Frank Karka checked his HEAT launcher, observing that it was loaded and ready to go. A rebel soldier, he stared at the grey sky that was covered with smoke.
"At least there are no planes- they are all busy over there." he said to himself. He had heard rumors that ZAFT was winning against the IAF, and he prayed to Zathaustra that it was true.
Then he periceved of 10 or so rebel soldiers running. Observing the panicked look son their faces, Karka ran up.
"They have broken the line. Run for your lines." the first man said.
Karka responded by grabbing his sidearm and shot the man in the face. His face red behind his black mustache, he turned and screamed at the others,:
"You call yourselves men! You are worthy of Ormhzud himsulf, you scum! He, with his fearful all-burning gaze, would spit you out in pure disgust, you scum! Get back there and fight! We must crush the infidels, in the name of God!" "Here, I'll show you how to fight."
Diving into a bush, he took out the HEAT launcher and peered into the sight. Then he saw an Imperial Deathsbane tank, backed by standard foot soldiers.
Karker froze. The Deathsbane tanks were the best tanks in the Army-hitting it in the front would do nothing. However, he observed that he could hit the tracks, immobilizng the tank. Taking aim, he fired. The tank stopped, and Karker smiled for the first time in days.

the timers hit 0 but something happend....a missfire on several of the bombs but the bombs thats did go off were in the main fuel tank area else were ZAFT bombers were trying to push them away from the shore so that the 3rd armored Division could land

With the huge amount of damage caused to the refueling areas, Poitrev ordered any planes that could to retreat inland. He has ordered all planes to attempt to retreat inlands, with the exception of Fleet Group K, to retreat Inland.
Meanwhile, the 5th Imperial Legion have been called by up, backed up by the 7th Tankers Regiment to stretch out in a 60-mile area to fend off any invasion.

the retreating imperial forces left the shore open but there were still fighters that could sink the transports the fighter consintrated on the enemies left

Colonel Ernesta Mendoza watched as the 5000 Tejano Proletariat Army soldiers under her command marched onto the transport boats. Their nondescript tan uniforms were soaked by rain, as there was a huge storm going on. Some of the luckier ones rode onto the transports in BMP-1s or BTR-60s.
Tejano battlecruisers, destroyers, submarines, and transports pooled in New Fukuoka's harbor. The Tejano Proletariat Navy was small, and it couldn't spare that many ships for this mission. The group was led by a battleship called the TPN Mama Said Knock You Out.
Finally, the last troops marched onto the last transport. Ernesta walked up the gangplank behind them. As soon as she was on, the gangplank was retracted, and the ships slowly lurched off towards Demon 666.

Although somewhat dismayed and demorlaized by the realization that the vaunted IAF lost, Imperial troops are still enthusiastic, especially over news that High Field Marshall Andrei Yerellkov is taking command of the defense.
Now they are fightingfor the Fatherland and for the Emperor.

General Poitrev had intended to use Fleet Group K for a kamikaze attack.
Most unfortunately for him, the Emperor discovered what had happened.
Poitrev is now fired and demoted, with Colonel Brian McGarter becoming the new head. Fleet Group K is withdrawn.

5000 soldiers would be merely an auxilliary force for the Imperial Army, given we have deployed more than 250,000 soldiers and more are arriving.
The Imperial Empire has finished mobilizing,and the first new plane has come out of war factories. Hundreds are to follow.

Well, you're at war. We're not. We can send more, much more, but we need more time to do that if you want more. In the meantime, you get our 5000 soldiers and a few ships.

We are engaged in a rebellion against the legitimate government.
However much you dislike empires, you must realize that we are the legitimate government.

Ahura Mazda frowns upon those who use dishonorable means. We will not use sabotage to defeat the infidels. Rather we shall call upon the greatness of our armies to defeat the infidel Emperor.

Operation Black Storm has stalled, after advancing 40 miles into rebel territory. The army has stopped 120 miles away from Tarentum.
Moreover, the rebels have begun sending stealth attacks to destroy Imperial supplies.
In retaliation, Tenarius has sent a secret order:

H-Town Tejas: We have 3 major coastlines. Your army should have no problem reaching the base. 1 is under fire between ZAFT and the Imperial Army, and the other is partly in Rebel hands.
The government's war production is beginning to go underway...

The Tejano fleet landed on the unoccupied coastline. Colonel Molina watched as BMP-2s and BTR-60s unloaded from the boats. The soldiers loaded their AKMs and GP-25s. Other soldiers carried Type 69 RPGs, PKMs, RPKs, and Saiga-12Ks. There were a few trucks unloading the large KPV heavy machine guns.
"Go hunt down a 666 official," Ernesta said to one of the squad leaders.
"Sí, Señora!" the squad leader said. He ran off to find an official.

Andrei Yerellkov stared at a map. So the ZAFT forces. Tenarius would be displeased unless he destroyed the invasion now.

Jonathon Richards checked his M249 weapon to see if it was reloaded. Good. "Geez, you've checked it 5 timesin the past hour. Get a grip on yourself."
He looked behind him. As a member of the 5th Legion, his forces had been stalemated between the forcesof the Empire and of the Rebels. It had been 3 days since the last offensive and Black Storm had been called off.
It was night. He was tired, and he decided to go to sleep. Who knew what the next day would bring.

Meanwhile, the Clerics have accepted the Constitution. It will now be spread. The Zoroastrian Republic has now been formally established.

ZAFT commanders looked at possible attacks on industrial targets like factories but there were to many defences still

ZAFT battleships had loaded long range attack missiles and the carriers were refueling and supplieing there craft as a field base was set up at the line as the Armored and infentry supported by attack helicopters moved forward slowly
