Ok, well with Jagada's Extermination in full flight. And with a pre-determined outcome--Jagada's Extermination (UTTER extermination). I am debating on what the new Jagada should be. I mean I want this one to be unquie, not your typical Fanatical Christian or Tinpot Dictatorship thats bent on purging Liberalism. I'd like some radically unquie (unusual as in like Jenrak, whom is the most unquie nation I know).

I have a few ideas, and I'd like to know if they've been tried, and everyones general feelings on the matter. Please be serious. Thank you.

Option 1
Christian Technocracy. A humble technocracy that thrives inside of the Post-Extermination War Bio-Sphere underground, to escape Kraven detection. Here they try to forge as close to a true Christian nation as possible while rapidly expanding technology and striving to throw off usual dogma that the Church and Ultra-Conservatives place upon Christianity. Trying to prove God and understand Him as much as humanly possible, threw Science (which this nation will see a method of learning to improve ones understanding of God). War will always be an option, and the ultimate goal is to throw off Kraven Oppression in a War of Independance, and hopefully not get glassed in the process.

Option 2
The Dark State. Kinda a 180 of the Christian roleplay I've tried to do. Playing a theocracy or a Christian nation is hard on NS which is primarily war. And to increase my chances of winning (which I admit I want to win) I use Religious Fanaticsm. Also considering my own personal feelings that Theocracies and Christians are wrongly protraited in soceity, but this is all besides the point. This Dark State will make Kraven look like 1950s America in contrast. It will be a vengenful state, an state that will rise out of the ashes of utter extermination and seek to let slip the dogs of war upon everyone, and unleashe death across all those whom oppose it. Yes seemingly typical, but thec characters go more indept and it goes into WHY they're like this. They become dark and "evil" to revive a destroyed peoples. They became evil, to destroy evil. Not evil like AMF (Viking Evil) or evil like Kraven (Psycological Evil), this Dark State will be forged into what one may call pure "evil". They of coarse do not beleive they are evil, they believe they are using the methods nessecary to maintain their dying civilization and seek vengence upon those whom invaded them. I hope to expand this out a bit more but this is a rough-draft. Though it must be noted that I won't be going demonic or Satanic, so then prehaps I won't be pure evil.

Option 3
Alignmentism Perfectionist State. An odd combination. The ideals of Alignmentism need to be forged still. Though basically its the ideal that Humans have two paths they must choose--Good and Evil. Alignmentism does polarize both sides. An example is to be on the 'Good' Side you must dedicate your life to the betterment of all men--even those whom are evil. If you choose the path of evil then you must dedicate your life to your own betterment, and the torment of others--regardless. The Philosphy of Alignmentism is that a State and a Society will polarize itself into Good and Evil and will not worry about Class, Race, Ideaologies, Religious Beliefs, Politifcal Views, or Sexual Preference. People will divide themselves into two corners, and it is here that the State can maintain Order and Control by means of a Democratic Society during Times of Peace. This is where the Perfectionist part comes into play. During people the Nation lives in a state of Anarchy--people do as they please. The economy runs smoothly though, as Corporations often choose their side. During this anarchy period the two sides of society, good and evil stay in their own corners of the country and there is usually a lot of friction and skirmishes at the border of these two ideaologies. This only means that when War Times comes, a period when the nation is at war. Then a whole new government comes in an takes over. A Dictatorship which is given the people to control the people in every regard. The government does this by ensuring one half of society--be it good or evil, always supports the Dictatorship. That way the other half isn't in a position to resist. I admit, I haven't worked hardy any of the bugs in this form yet, but I just want t put it out there.

Option 2, the Dark State sounds the most interesting.

Options 1 and 3 appear to idealized.

The Dark State sounds the best of the three options. Plus, the Count would like nation more then your former state of Jagada. Look at it this way, why would a vampire joined in arms with Christian nation. The alliance between our nation is an unholy alliance, to say. And it still will be an unholy one.

Well Jag, as one of the countries destroying you, I think my vote would count for something here.

Option 2 looks fun to play, but hard to pull off. To constantly be warring you would need near unlimited resources and thus you immediatly see the problem with this option. Plus you would need alot of military units to constantly war and police the states you occupy. You would be like soviet Russia with all those military units and spending. Thus if one link breaks, your screwed.

Option 3 looks hard to pull of in wartime as either side can refuse to fight because the other is fighting along side them. I love the idea behind that all but it seems like two different countries, and how can much be accomplished with one half the nation for something, and the other half against it.

Option one looks the safest and closest to what you play. You are good with the religious state, and I love the way you pull it off. I say stick with what you know, but be religiously imperialistic. Which to me means, if their fighting with us and their heathens, lets take 'em out and convert em! With that you get your war, colonies, and religious expansion.

I like the idea of a Christian State 1-- but it seems to be a bit too mild. Warring christian states in true crusader fashion are much more militant than what you are describing here. A Cromwellian ultraorthodox technocracy would be very interesting, or even a Templar theocracy would be very interesting. Increase the intensity a bit.

First one, FTW!

I'd say one or three, in that order. Even if you totally screw them up, it'd still be better than the thousands of screw-up evil states in NS. Personally, I think that there's not enough normality and sure as hell not enough good to go around on
NS. It'd make you a better rper, and legitimize you a bit more I think.

It really depends. What I'd love to see is a modernized dune society, except using christian fanaticism instead of Arabic Fananticism.

All good points. There are not nearly enough good nations, or per say enough that want to wage war. Though I do see a lot of newbs coming out with "Dictator So-So declares war on Such-and-Such". Dictators are unoriginal, but also overly demonized. This is all besides the point.

In the Dark State, I don't intend to fully turn from Christianity in my RPs. More like only a nominal existance of Christinaity. Though by Dark I don't mean like demonic or Satanic in any way. Dark as in a people who are willing to use evil to destroy evil. Like fighting fire with fire. I mean you don't live underground for years and come out normal.

Though the Christian Technocracy is also a good idea. It paves the way for a Christian nation that doesn't follow the typical "Death to Moslems/Jews/Atheists/Anarchist/People who disagree with me/Cats". It'd be more along the lines of a Technocracy who is trying to advance Christ's teachings by, once conquoring those who stand before it, allowing a lot of missionary work to convert the population. Two reasons. Social Reason - To give people the chance to accept the Almighty God. Government Reason - To ensure that the people remeber Jagadan and love them for converting them to Christinaity, and this can be used to put down any more tinpot dictators that try and rise up.

Though I've been thinking about combing ALL of the options before me to forge some kind of werid hybrid state.

Hybrid State
A Christian Technocracy which has Alignmentism (save nows its a battle between Moderatism and Fanaticism), with an unmericful desire to stamp out everyone who stands before it. Society is divided by means of religious beliefs, with Moderates moving to one half of the country and Fanatics to the other half. The fact that they're both Christians makes the possibility of war not a possibility that the State should fear. The Technocracy is jointly ruled via Democratic elections, though the terms of the Lord Protectors are rather long (10 year per term). The people are however, viciosuly Xenophobic. They've lived threw the holocaust of their people and deeply distrust ANYONE foreign. This means that a nation must prove to the Jagites that they mean welll threw deeds, gifts, and a show of great loyalty. Provides for an interesting climate.

The Political Climate is extremely complex. Not only are parties moving for their own power, they are being played by the two sects of Society (Moderates and Fanatics) for their own gains. Means that Lord Protector's have a lot of people to please. Though can always find a good deal of support to march against some tinpot dictatorship or someone who threatens Jagada even mildly. And a war against Kraven, if the oppurutnity ever arise would be demanded so loudly, that it would have to happen.
