The void of space is long and wide, and will never end. The quite however never lasts very long. For if you can hear the silence you must be making noise yourself. This could never be truer as an Imperial frigate floats it's way out of hyperspace on it's patrols of the Galactic Outpost System. It was a small system with three planets: Polyvectus, Gnark 4, and Yik. It was an important systen on the other hand allowing for many watch patrols and defenses to be placed there. As the small frigate rode along the ship's captain walked along the bridge. Captain Rock Volgforn, was a formidable 6 foot 2 inches, 257 pounds. He waltzed silently into the cockpit area and checked the sensors and read nothing. He solemnly walked away and sat into a chair in the far corner of the cock pit and began to doze. Then the ship rumbled. The pilot spun around quick and stared at the Captain.
"We've hit a mine!" sputtered out the Pilot.
"Move aside." spoke sternly did the Captain.
The Captain was experienced in space battle, and ran ship soley for that reason. He fought in the battles but never piloted idley.
"It's a standard warp mine." spoke the Captain.
The mine simply warped the space around it and altered it to suck in ships with it's gravity and also make it invisible to radar. The Captain regained control of the ship and quickly scrambled the ship to the edge of the mine's gravity. Then 6 ships in V-Formation raced out of cloak towards the small Frigate firing as it rocked around laser fire slamming the shields.
(Anyone can join in here. Eventually this shall turn into a rebel against me but not a Large one. It can be for any reason really just jump in.)
