A tank costs more than that, unless you are losing money. You have armor to account for, plus the gun, plus the engine, plus electronics, plus tracks, plus the machine gun, plus the frame, and not to mention pipes and stuff.

Actual;ly, that's an M82-A1. The MSRP on that is something like 5 thousand dollars. You know, big Barrett .50 Caliber Sniper Rifle. Pretty damn famous around here. Puts holes through light armored vehichles...

Can we please get off my tanks? Besides, I don't have much buisness in tank making, most of my money comes from air support, which I charge kind of pricey for because of Taralkeas lack of oil.

The Merkava IV costs about $4,000,000 a piece, while the M1A2 SEP is said to go for ~$6,000,000. The Leopard 2A6 and 2E go for similar prices, and the Challenger II most likely is more expensive. $500 dollars is too low - you can't buy a car for that money.

Did you ignore the prices I threw up there to give you an idea of what a modern main battle tank costs? It's not about selling more, it's that you're loosing too much money selling for such a low cost. It costs ~1.9 to 2.3 million dollars to construct the tank in the first place; how do you suggest making a profit if you're selling the units cheaper than what your manufacturers are paying for it? Your tank prices are not fair, they are rediculous.
