In a horrible and tragic turn of events, Ethan Latoe, the allegded boyfriend to the First Daughter Maria O'Soar has been killed in an accidental shooting by two presidental palace guards last night.
The boy is said to have been sneaking in to the palace to see the First Daughter when he was spotted by two of the presidental guard; Marcus Renold and Carrietta Barster. The guards, apparently shaken and made paranoid by the recent terrorist threats on President Risa O'Soar, fired at him when they caught sight of him, giving him no chance to surrender peacefully.
The president has not been reached for comment, but the First Daughter has been quoted that she will "have those bastards' balls on a platter for this" when interviewed by reporters while she was waiting for the bus to her school. The two guards responded to this comment later in front of their homes with their lawyers present. The lawyer of Ms. Barster said that "this kind of attitude was unbefitting of the First Daughter, and besides my client is clearly female and therefore has no balls to have on a platter." Mr. Renold's lawyer could only comment "My client has acting in the manner he at the time considered to be--AAAARGH! ****! ****!!! YOU IDIOT, YOU SHOT ME!!" Mr. Renold then apoligised to his lawyer for shooting him in the knee by accident and then also made a sincere apology to the family of Ethan and to the First Daughter.
If the two guards are convicted of manslaughter, they stand to face a jail sentence of 6 years each. Ethan's mother has commented that the guards should be ashamed of themselves for their boneheaded actions.
