[My nation's preparing itself for the nearish future, and needs ships. This'll be so big that you can't miss it.]
Janus called a meeting of the Cabal, an emergency session. The destiny of the Alteran people loomed large, and every effort had to be made to hide it. However, that asn't always an option.
Janus Adressed the others, his voice strong and powerful.
"We have a problem. The foundries of the Kira sector are working at full capacity, for the first time... Ever."
The other cabalists cheered and clapped, not understanding the gravity of the situation.
"Silence! This is NOT good for the dominion! It was never esigned to work at such a capacity with the kind of stealth we need! Currently, it is bleeding masses of energy into the Immaterium and surrounding realspace. As a result, it is lit up like a flare, and the ships are like silhouettes. The universe knows we are mustering our forces. If it is discovered that we are mustering them for a reason as dark as that which we are, our dominion is doomed. We must go ahead soon."
The chamber erupted into cheers again, prompting a small frown from Janus.
Kira Sector
The Kira sector was jammed with ships, in their thousands. Dozens of capital ships, hundreds of picket ships and countless fighters buzzed around, or lay in berths, attended by swarming cyborgs. Ships blasted away at target drones, and thousands of warriors filed through arming points, picking up fearsome weapons and armour.
All this activity acted as a beacon, one that would almost blind half the sensors in the galaxy for a few seconds a day.
