The moon, it hung around the Gas Giant like an Iron Ball. Floating, from here, you would never know it was here the universe would forever be changed.

Yet this ball would become the place where the universe changed. Upon this moon, the faithful toiled. Sitting on the Northern Poles, a facility sat. It was a Fortress, Millions stood ready to defend this facility. Around this moon, great ships hung, titans in the darkness of space.

---

Doors opened, sliding to reveal a room of activity. Tech-Priests stood, monitoring the screens, checking to make sure everything worked. The next later opened, revealing more of those, hard at work, looking at biological information, making sure the body became what it was destined to be. And then, the final doors opened, revealing what would change the galaxy.

At first, many would think it not that impressive, a man, tanned skin, flowing black hair, muscular frame suspended in a blue liquid. And in truth, this body was not that impressive, even now, it was only a vessel, a vessel for the mind that would find it.

Then Reality began to twist. The facility began to shudder. Around the galaxy, warp storms began to form, bending reality, twisting it and tearing it apart. Through the Warp, the Astropaths began to sing their chorus, and around the universe, creatures of the Warp sung praise or curses, a champion of Order was Returning.

In the Facility, everything changed. The computer screens died, the lights died, the room was pulled into darkness. Inside the most secure chamber, the sound was deafening, a scream of energy, as the tanks burst to shards, and the body fell to the ground, gasping air for the first time in Mellenia.

Then, the body rose, and it immidetly, the reason for this body where understood. This was the champion of Humanity, their savior. He strode through the doors, the Tech-Priests gave their Omnissiah the robe to wear. As the Form strode out, men bowed.

The Saviour of Humanity thanked them, individually. Then, he looked up to the heavens, and he knew where his Imperium would be refounded.

The facility was abandoned, Millions of men loaded onto their Craft, as the ships proceeded to enter the warp. Reality was torn asunder, and Daemons of the Warp prowled around the limits of the Geller Feild, waiting for a chance to strike. This was a chance they never got, for it was not long before once more the ships dropped from the warp, tearing themselves into reality. These craft then proceeded to unload their cargo onto the World below.

And the Emperor sent out a message, to any astropath that had heeded his word.

-Come to me here my Sons, come to me here and we shall talk of the changes in this universe-

Three glistening White Battle Barges, twelve Strike Cruisers, four Inquisition Black Ships, ten Retribution Class Battleships, ten Emperor Class Battleships, twenty Firestorm Frigates, ten Dominator Class Cruisers, and fifteen Shieldships folded into the system with their weapons and shields fully ready for a battle. The ships were armed to the teeth and were the 10th Battlegroup of the 5th Assault Fleet. The ships went in a cruising speed to the nearby world where the Inquisitors had discerned the signal from. Each ship bore the Imperial Aquilla layed over twin Dragons as it's sigil. Captain Justor stood tall on the bridge of his mighty Battle Barge Veritas when he turned to Inquisitor Karsor. He looked him up and down and said, "This better not be a trap Inquisitor. I have already lost enough brothers this day and this Battlegroup could be used to help save more of my battle brothers." The Inquisitor looked at the Blood Ravens Captain with a glare noting his dislike for Inquisitors which allowed his speech. He chose his words carefully before speaking, "We must discern if this is the true Emperor or a ploy by the enemy. If it is so we will wipe them out swiftly with this battlegroup if it is not then we must help protect the true Emperor. Either way this is necessary." Captain Justor looked out over the prow of his vessel and noted the feeling of a powerful psyker force near here. Whatever it was he hoped it was friendly.

So they come... he said, looking at the fleet. Absently, the Saviour Wondered Why exactly they had chosen to bring so many. There would be no doubt, the Warp would have tremoured at his return, the Atsropaths had sung chior to his grace...only those unknown in the warp would have not known. He shrugged, his mind moving outwards. He saw the ships, he saw the people in the Warp, he knew they where searvents.

~My Sons, My Dear Sons, you have returned, do your loyalties to me still hold true? Or do you believe me some trick of your attempt to bring me back? An attempt that failed quite harshly. Now, do you come to pledge your loyalties? Or shall I simply destroy you here and now to save me the battle later?~

The Inquisitor smiled hearing the psychic call. He realized it was true that his Emperor had returned. He sent a psychic call stating his actions as an ally here to help and protect the Emperor in this time of need.

A Shadow Chaser quickly departed the Veritas with the Inquisitor Lord aboard. The vessel rapidly approached the planet transmitting an ancient IDC in Imperial Gothic. The Inquisitor Lord knew it would not matter for his vessel could withstand the destruction of a system however it did have no armaments to use against other vessels such was the fate of the vessel class. He approached the planet to land on a landing pad. He looked around at his six death Cultist Assassins that served as his personal guard each of which was a Navigator. He slowly glided in to land on the landing pad where the shuttle set down quite nicely.

A lone cloaked ship, using grav-field distorters to get as close as possible to escaping the real world. On board was not a man...but at the same time, it was a man. The thing called Nihilus...warped beyond the limits of human reach, it had ascended into a different plane, now Nihilus did not view in black and white. The galaxy was not only physical...but one that transcended the limited human perspective of view. But Nihilus didn't use this profound knowledge for the benefit of society. It was corrupted by evil, twisted and ravagous, feeding off of the energy of others, off the energies of life itself. It was a monster.
So when the psychic call went forth from the Emperor, Nihilus heard. He listened. And he saw the oppurtunity for more. For Nihilus now was merely another of the competing vassals under the significantly stronger Amazonian Emperor Droma, the one who had the power to temper its corrupted form, the strength to keep its essence in check. But the power struggle on who would follow Droma when the Emperor finally succumbed to the physical world was one divided. And Nihilus looked to exterminate and destroy the competition.
The creature responded to the psychic call, sending forth a message of foreboding:

I hear you, I know your essence. You serve the power of weak, of ignorance, of pathetic languish. You know not the path of strength, the power of hate. Now hear me, you are not but the dirt that lies below the treads of every creature, you are little more than the essence I feed upon, you are little more than another sole existance. And I am coming for you.

OOC Umm Amazonian are you a 40K fan because if so you should know this guy of yours stands no chance of defeating the Emperor. He is considered a god in the 40K universe and the four Chaos Gods recoiled at his psychic touch. He can be considered a godmod if used in battle because of his abilities and powers. He is the most powerful psychic in creation. But it's your choice of whether to engage him or not.

IC
The Captain was alerted by one of his servitors that they had discovered some fluctuations in gravity nearby but after careful consideration Justor believed it to be nothing more than natural occurance in response to the Emperor's power. He looked on knowing his Emperor was not too far away and that humanity's salvation would come in time.

OOC: 40k, nope...besides, my guy is crazily power-hungry...he'll throw in some interesting plot-lines. And he isn't stupid enough to engage him outright.

OOC: All my ships are now BFG, so just run them through a translator if you're confused. The whole German thing is part of my national identity.
IC: newly formed Third Mobile Fleet hurtled through the warp, guns out. Sice the Vivarian debacle, Boozian ships always had their guns out. It saved confusion later. Vivaria, now that was a bad memory...but Commodore Dernels had come out of it alive, and now he was an admiral.

The navigator yelled something incomprehensible, then re-gained his composure.
"Big warp beacon, it seems biological, but...no one being could have that kind of presence."
"Take us there."
"Immediately."

The fleet lept from the warp some time later, sending ahead a small flotilla of Feuersturm and Klinge class frigates to investigate.
