Meanwhile, another probe sat on the edge of the Lorita system, scanning, probing at possible enemies.

From their Intel, from what they knew, and all the information the spies or any form of advancements the Mechinus had applied, it seemed that there was a shift in the powers, as the Godulans had arrived with their blasted technology. The Totalians had never accustomed to fighting a war of grand proportions, and taking planets unguarded and weak were their specialty, their greatest compounding strength, not the full-scale assaults of enemy empires and massive militaries. That was what the Mechinus were designed for. The seeds prepared, the hands ready, three, massive cumbersome ships began to arrive on the scene, the Lorita system a hive of much activity and death, chaos and destruction feeding their men, as they felt its glorified call.

From the largest and strongest of the platforms, stood in the command center Totalius, breathing and rasping up the many surges of death and destruction that were to follow, misconduct and violence his greatest feast. He was however, under an abiding law of honour, and he had to defend his allies, and crush their enemies. Besides, it would prove to be a valuably exciting battle. Whichever would die, he would be able to grow stronger from it, to feed of the destruction, and the Scavengers would dearly gain larger fleets of immeasurable proportions. Entire capital ships rested on its surface, the platforms still lumbered on, reaching Lorita at their ponderous speed, yet ready to do battle against their erstwhile foe.

To the left of the central platform, a smaller one (however, still respectively large, for it carried many capital ships in its hull) was seen, hives of hornet-like ships flying around and collecting debris from long lost battles, or small drones drilling nearby dust and asteroids for their next recollection. With every shard of metal found, with every dust collected, another ship could be made, and it certainly was being made, constantly pushing themselves together, creating a large fleet unbreakable nor incapable of complete defeat.

The strongest exertion of force to date in the offensive scale, Three platforms out of five meant the importance of the Kirtir Empires to the Totalian alliances. They were not to fall, nor were these haphazard rebels allowed to sow disorder in the boundaries of a friend.

At the right, a similar platform followed, also scavenging and picking debris and remains, followed suit of the large central platform, massive cannons and large bevy of fighters placed together, ready for war. In the central platform, it was an enormous and extremely devastating sight, like a large sword in space, a strong metallic alloy glistening as its form. Winding tunnels and entire factories kilometres long edged its way, a dark shadow piercing with purple tentacles writhing along like havoc-induced wires. There was nothing aesthetic to this ship – only the pain and horror of the greatest industrialism the Totalians could pull off.

From the central ship, in all his rasping glory, his red cape torn asunder and drooping slowly over his pale and invisible body, a black obsidian-like armour covering his parts, gloves protecting long lost fingers. A skull mask adorn over his head, his face unavailable, his speech nothing but a wiry emitting pattern of sounds. Red steam rose from his gloves, and a dangling lightsaber in silver at his waist, his arms crossed on his chest, resting in peace.

“Feed me.” Totalius commanded, to an empty choir of ghosts, nothing but a sombre, silent scream of the Dark side flickering in his mind.

OOC: Everyone's waiting FFS, just post.

Finally, after hours of the probe scanning, and communicating telemetry back to the Azaha system, a rupture in time and space itself started to rumble open. The signature was massive, anyone within a thousand lightyears could see it with ease.

Finally, after a number of seconds of rumbling, a giant wall of light seemed to appear. Except, on closer expection, it was actually thousands of small frigate-sized ships exiting slipspace. There were thousands, seemingly a hundred thousand ships, every single one the same type: 400 meter long frigate-sized carriers. From the front they looked like a stout triangle with a bridge protruding upwards.

A single ship within the massive wall started to relay communications. The voice was a powerful, but low gurgle, the mere words he spoke almost shattering the speakers on the carriers, let alone what it might do to the rest of the combatants in the system.

"Greetings mortals, I am Prince Gustable. Before you is a mere fraction of my assault fleet, but I have sent these to have a little fun. You see, my people need an enemy to fight, so today, we shall find them one. Today, Azaha shall be a god-send, or your worst nightmare.. pending who's side we decide to help... so who shall recieve our blessings?"

OOC: Before you scream god mod at my ship numbers... if you scan them, most don't even have weapons... and if you shoot at them.. well.. I'll just say, it can be made in comparison of.. hot knife through butter.

The commander on the Federal Flag ship looked at the scanners and said “What the hell?!” he quickly peered over to his con officer and said “have half the fleet target those new ships, we’ll support the abh and gouldar, I also want you to contact FDF command and have them send re enforcements..”

The con officer and tactical officer nodded, they began working hastily, half of the currently fleet had broken off already.

The Commander said “FIRE !”

With that order both sides of the fleet opened fire, half of the fleet opening up towards the imperial ships , thousands of bolts of fire space time disrupter beams , Massively powerful green blue and white Non liner temporal slasher cannons moved and fired towards ships, thousands upon thousands of anti capital ship turrets opened fire, re coiling with the fire of blue white green and orange, yellow and other bright colors, inside the ships sounds could be heard as the massive batteries fired

Masses of energy fire and beams light up the dark lifeless void of space along with allied fire, glorious rains of brim stone from both federal fleets fire upon the enemy moving towards them, fighters maneuvered in to position firing payloads and energy weapons then veering off. The Fire From federal ships was extremely intense, con continuous beams, rapid fire heavy pulse cannons, slahser beams , thousands upon thousands upon thousands of missiles veered towards enemy ships with grate ferocity.

The second group of ships opened up with just as much fire power, cannons and energy weapons from both battles could be seen form the edge of the system as the intense fire from federal ships increased even more.

Mean while after the message was sent the commander stood up with a serious face he said “All ECM and ECCM systems engage!”

A split second after, a teaming mass of systems activated, tons of power poured in to ECM and ECCM systems as jamming grew, codes were sent to friendly ships on how to get through it. Shadow systems active from the ships, and Thousands upon thousands Of Razor drones flew from pods aiming at enemy ships.

(Shadow basically is meant to confuse missiles and torpedoes, it works very well it crates an imprint of the exact ship, on all scales even gravity scale..)

Fighters and bombers were constantly being lunched now, they flew towards there targets veered maneuvered and piloted with instant reaction, firing off there payload at high speeds.

"So you want to play it that way, scum? Looks like we have our first target! Launch all fighters! Interceptors to destroy all incoming missiles and drones. Search and destroy for the bombers and superiority fighters... today shall be a glorious day!" The fanatical black haired man sat down on his pristine silver command chair, his eyes wide open, and his teeth gritting.

In space, as fighters and ordinence streaked towards the Azahan fleet, hundreds, then thousands, then millions of fighters poured out of the carriers. 50 craft in total from each carrier, 10 bombers, 20 interceptors, and 20 superiority fighters.

Like massive swarms if insects, they sped towards the enemy fleet. There were three distinct waves, each fairing hundreds of thousands of fighters. Though about 2/5th's of the fighters remained behind, the interceptors, acting guard duty for the carriers.

The first wave, sped towards their targets. The fighters armed their missiles, and fired right away at the thousands of drones closing in on them, then half the fighters went after the drones, while the other half played search and destroy, looking for any enemy fighters.

The bombers however went straight towards the capitol ships. Each enemy capitol ship had hundreds, of not a thousand bombers on them. The fight was on.

The commander stood up the federal fleet was firing with intense energy and conviction, another massive volley of fire like the one before it streaked out towards enemy ships .

Fighters and interceptors maneuvered in to a defensive pattern over the capital ships with in the range of Anti fighter emplacements, mean while long range mega cannons fired from battle ships, streaking comet like energy balls flew at faster than light speeds, the blue green glow of them streaked across the void of space towards enemy ships.

The hulls of the large ships were lighten up by there intense fire and constant streams of rainbow colors, the seen of space was almost god like as glorious auroras, pressed forth.

Capital ships slowly moved forward fireing there main weapons, fighters trailed with them ready to brake off and attack, the glow of the engines and lights of fire on the hull could be almost described as chaos, as intense brim stone like fire rimed froth from fedral ships , bombers flew in front of enemy formation cropping mines, gun ships fired long range missiles and rapid fire pulse weapons , they flew with massive amounts of speed, firing all around, they were like porcupines of energy.

The commander on the ship looked forth, his eyes widened as his ships fired pulses beams and large globs of fire out Into the darkness heading towards other ships, he sighed and watched the display calmly, the other officers were working all around him, time almost stood still as he peered out in to the darkness his eyes panning the masses of ships and fire coming from them.. Reinforcements would not arrive until a few minutes later , he just stood there his blue and black uniform gleaming and flashing with the light of both the bridge and the combat zone, alarms blared but they were almost silenced as sounds of fire took hold over the ship.

On the planet......

"Look's like TFU has lost it from our readings Governor."

"Hmph. I only have contact with my troops and it'll be damn near impossible with the alliance and the Abh Empire raiding the planet. Too bad I can't really get a good transmission with the guy who's commanding the Empire's forces up above."

"Sir! Ground Assault reinforcements from the Empire has arrived!"

Moss looked up and saw the reinforcements arrive to his capital city from the empire. Thank god. He'll have a chance of being relieved of duty for once, and go to the emperor and report things. Or, so he thought.

"Governor.... Reading something that looks like a cloaked ship coming in near the city."

"I'll bet it's a small strike team to head me off. Double security around the building and send out the Marines to meet the enemy head on. We need to hold them off so that more of the Empire's reinfrcements can arrive."

------------------------------------

In space....

"Sir, TFU has attacked the Azaha fleet. Looks like they're going to help us afterall."

"Excelent. With the Godulan's attacking us, we might not've made it out. Status on the Axiel cannon's damage?"

"Not to bad Admiral. It could still do some heavy damage."

"Target those Godulan vessels. If we could get a few shots at one of their ships, we could survive. If not, Skorm help us."

The Aphotic moved several degrees and shook violently as it was hit by the godulan weaponery. The Axiel cannon charged up, and was ready to be fired. All it needed was one word from the admiral.

OOC: Nah. Quapital is the center government planet for the Lorita system, and the outer colonies. It stays here.

IC: Magriel flew his shuttle to the planet's surfface. Instead of meeting with the rest of the army, he took a seperate route to the city and cloaked his shuttle to maximize his chances of going in undetected. He was meeting a previous shuttle which went in cloaked before he did. This would be his strike force which will go against the interior of the main city hall and capture Governor Moss. Magriel had a feeling that this was the right time to atempt something which could change the course of the Republic and the Empire forever.

The three platforms increasing their propulsion, blasting off their force for a small moment until the drifting darkness of space allowed them. Surely they would be able to finally unleash themselves off the cloak of a radar, to go into hostile territories. Still, in their glamour, in their quiet essence, they lurked, and waited, and all the matter pondered about space, Totalius still standing atop his men, sitting aboard his throne, a throne of steel and metallic fervour unquestioned.

“Begin the assault.” He said, detecting Fedral forces. From the hulls of the two adjacent platforms, a massive hive of bees began to spur out, to spread and thicken their sway, as quick as death itself, piling and wobbling their formations into attacks, larger ships of steel and power rushing towards them to block the damages that could be sustained. Capital ships began to whir, destroyers and their massive cannons started to buzz, and all the manner of drones clicked to life and whisked around in joyous carnage.

From the heart of the platforms, from the main stations, massive cannons prepared their volley, enormous bolts charging and readying, as the enormous number of scavenged ships zoomed on.

The black haired captain stood up from his seat and screamed in exctasy, as the Fedral Union fire tore through the carriers and fighters like they were snotty tissue. He lept forward and slammed the communications relay.

"All forces! Target the biggest ship you see, and destroy it!" His eyes started to bulge, several blood vessels in his eyes already having burst. "All carriers, launch torpedo salvos on the second biggest ship that I designate, and fall back to slip point Xenos!"

Just then, all fighters and bombers in the first wave stopped what ever they were shooting at, and turned their attention on the nearest, biggest ship they could find. Bombers launched their heavy torpedos, and fired their plasma bursts, the superiority fighters began firing their anti-fighter missiles at any fighters in the way, then focused their burst cannons on the biggest ship.

Out of the near one hundred thousand carriers, very few even had ammo for their torpedos. But the ones that did, fired all four of their tubes, sending a vast wall of hundreds of torpedos at the nearest, and second biggest ship they saw. And as quickly as they fired their torpedos, in another brilliant show of light and sound, the mass fleet of carriers dissapeared, leaving the fighters.

The Union had succeeded in wiping out quite a few fighters, but as with a hornets next, killing a few only makes the hive angrier.

OOC: I'd like it if a Hunt represetative got in contact with my fleet commander.. just for a little character RP.

Torpedos and missiles continued to pour from the Four Horsemen, slamming into the Huntarian Imperial fleet with abandon and a simple purity of devastation that could not be matched by many fleets of similar size.

The Aphotic's response had been noted in the manner that the powering up of its main weapon had caused several voidshield scanners to trigger, and a simple message was sent to the enemy flagship, unencrypted and on all comms.

You do not want to do that.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Directly after the communication, including the one sent by the Azahan fleet, the keening began.

The force sensitives and psykers would have felt it first, and possibly even any form of cybernetically enhanced individual not corresponding to Godulan Norms. Maximillian himself felt it, but he simply exhulted in the sheer power of the strange wail.

The Kythons, latched onto each of the Four Horsemen like some kind of malevolent glowing coral, began emitting a psychic scream of hideous power as it approached the enemy. A great hissing chitter accompanied with the screams of thousands upon thousands of voices shrieking out in pain. And to all who felt it, a number which would grow by orders of magnitude in a very short amount of time, a single agonized wail would stand out: their own.

All vessels tagged as enemies would feel the effects of this hideous shrieking.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

And the missiles stopped. Though the Four Horsemen came ever forward, charging incessantly, as yet undamaged as if by virtue of the sheer power of their initial onslaught. But any thoughts of a cessation of activity was swiftly dispelled when the the Four Horsemen, augmented as they were with a collective battleswarm of Kythons latched onto their surface, began to open up their first salvos.

It was like each of the Four Horsemen became a swirling maelstrom of explosive crystal shards lancing out at anything and everything in range, pummeling enemy ships with a blinding volume of fire directed at the weakest vessels.

As millions of Crystal Shardbolts flooded into space, enough of a glow was generated by the collective grouping that it would actually generate shadows, casting an eerie green light upon the night side of Lorita.

Any fighters unfortunate enough to be caught in this melee would have been lucky to make it out with anything less than crippling damage. Not even force sensitive fighter pilots could have avoided so many streams of pure destructive force being pumped out in such a small amount of time.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

And just to top it off, the Kythons commenced their most devastating attacks.

Every so often, a stream of Shardbolt fire would slacken, ever so momentarily. A small bulb of Crystal would form from the general area of the cannon stream, swiftly forming into a massive version of the tiny Shardbolts that now flooded the area of space around each of the Four Horsemen.

As the shardbolt reached maturity, it was fired at any unshielded enemy vessel in the area, slamming into the enemy like a small asteroid.

But it did not crash through or explode on impact as the other Shardbolts did, oh no. No, these special bolts had a different purpose.

Splattering upon the surface of the stricken enemy vessel and leaving a massive blotch of glowing green corruption, the specialized Shardbolts, now revealed as great infectious blotches, would immediately begin disintegrating the vessel they were in contact with, slowly expanding until the enemy vessel was fully engulfed, and finally detonating into a small cluster of new Kython Slaughterkings that would immediately join the fray with fire and destruction of their own...

The Four Horsemen had been aptly named...

Several fighters were hit , 8 were destroyed, the fighters broke off and in pursuit and defense, the larger ship fired its anti fighter gun s and chaos flack canons, mean while another this time more constant wave of fire poured from the ships.

Green, black , white, and blue beams and pulses of fire raced forth toward enemy ships, mean while fighters maneuvered extremely well if not matching the exceeding enemy fighters maneuvers, they fired there phased anti tachyon guns. Rapid fire of blue green pulses raced towards enemy fighters, as guided missiles fallowed behind, a streaking trail of fire from fighters and anti fighter flack cannons could be seen around the ships, as they lunged forth. Fire rained from federal ships like brim stone targeting enemy fighters.

On the bridge of the allegiance, thing were hectic, the shield were holding pretty well but there was some minor reduction in shield power, the second ship was a little more damaged.

The ship hardly shook as he looked out the window being lighten up by the shield reacting to the fire; several other ships had been hit and destroyed blunting the enemy strike on the second largest ship.

The commander looked emotionlessly at the seen and said “fire all anti fighter weapons target slasher cannons and fire at those fighters.”

The commander stood up and sighed, he looked out side, he saw the shields reacting and bursting in there blue yellow forms, he smiled as the seen was like an aurora some what comforting, he saw several frigates go down, but the capital ships press on, the other fleet fired masses of its own fire towards other enemy factions, he saw the dead lifeless husk of burning fighters as they floated in to the darkness of space, there lifeless hulls only lighten by the fires burning inside there hole rattled nearly airless decks.. he also saw split fighters.. floating as they were cut in half by explosions… while there were only 10 fighters destroyed, 18 more had been damaged… he looked forth sighing with a serious face as the light from the battle illuminated the bridge.

Just then the large cannons of the ships targeted fighter formations and groups, they fired a blue and green beam of massive energy the continuous beam targeted multiple fighter groups with speed and precision.

Mean while space superiority fighters and fighter bombers rushed enemy fighters matching maneuvers easily, launching there masses of ordinance, green, and blue masses of energy fire ripped forth from fighters, as missiles launched with speed and ease, tracking enemy fighter craft.

Mean while transport ships began launching ground assault craft, and gun ships, masses of ships poured out from these mobile troop factories, mean while beaming was also used, advanced transporters engulfed entire companies brigades and armored groups .. they all headed towards a some what safe point of landing, over 80,000 troops would be beamed down and landed, it would take about an half hour to an hour to mobilize this massive army…

(Jenrak are you firing at me? If so ill take losses in the next post I make form your attack. You can also count this as an attack on you)

In come the Calvary

Suddenly … huge bursts of white black energy engulfed empty space just in the system, 20 large ships and 100 small frigates and corvettes had jumped in, there massive hulls gleamed on the light of the battle as they moved towards it, there ominous glow and large form could intimidate many ships.. there large grey, forms shivered as they moved, anti cloak sensors began operating, as bombers from the main fleet began deploying mines in front of the large capital ships, the engines of the new task force rumbled loudly, as they glided towards the battle, confident in victory..

The commander of the USS Trenton looked out and nodded to the con officer who opened a frequency to the USS allegiance.

“This is commander Tim hawthorn from the USS Trenton, the admiral sends her best regards, its time to rid this system of all resistance.. “

the looked over to the tactical officer and said “Launch all fighters!”

the 3 Trenton class super carriers/battle ships began launching masses of advanced fighters, and bombers, they streaked forth as they broke off in to formation, swarming enemy fighters from behind and from the top, there green blue and yellow pulses of fire rained froth like a hellish and angry daemon spurting out fire.

The corvettes began rushing towards larger enemy capital ships, there rapid fire anti capital ship cruise missile tubes spat out hundreds of missiles a minutes, as there continuous beam weapons consecrated there fire on cortical systems.

The the Azahan Carriers gone from the system, the fighters were left to their own devices. However that would not be a problem, nearly 5 million fighter craft could handle themselves.

As the first wave swarmed the pocket of Union capitol ships, the second and third wave of fighters howevered far out of the enemy's line of fire, waiting to strike.

Meanwhile, the first wave swarmed the enemy capitol ships like swarms of man-eating insects, poised to tear the flesh off their enemies bit by bit, until there was nothing left but bone.

The bombers kept launchign wave after wave of anti-capitolship warheads, each one nearly a megaton in strength. The super fighters targeted individual components, such as gun turrets, and what ever looked like a bridge. The interceptors targetted and shot down as many missiles, fighters, and drones as they could.

Even though, numbers of Azahan fighter craft were shot from the sky. The number was already in the hundreds, but out of hundreds of THOUSANDS, that was a very small number. With ever fighter down, the swarm seemed to move faster, get more eratic, and in general, more mad. And this was only the first wave.

Even if the Azahan fighters could not destroy the capitol ships, they were bent on causing as much damage as possible, and making the enemy retreat.

Several more frigates had been hit, three frigates were dammed, there hulls with minor breaches, and some flames burring with in there hulls, the capitol ships fired there huge barge of anti fighter weapons again, the new fleet targeted the second and third wave, firing masses upon masses of missiles, rail rounds, slasher beams and energy weapons.
Several hundred fighters broke off from defensive positions, accompanying them were over one hundred Interceptors, the flanked the enemy squadron of fighters quickly Turing around on a dime and firing from the bottom behind port, starboard and behind.

Pulses of white anti matter rail rounds, flew from interceptors, a rapid fire stream of them heading towards fighters, as other fighters launched there missiles, mean while the swerved whooshed and maneuvered to avoid counter fire , the parted as soon as they released there weapons, then came back for another flanking run….

The capitol ship cannons recoiled again and again as they fired massive pulses, the chaos flack cannons fired massive rapidly expanding spheres of spatial distortions towards fighter clusters.

The carriers launched even more fighters, sounds of engines roaring could be heard on deck, as they whooshed out in to the darkness of space , several burning husks of fighters flew buy, both sides were taking some losses, it could be seen with the debris flaoing in the middle of the massive light show, an aurora filled the area of space were the battle was occurring , the ships anti fighter fire was extremely precise, AI targeting systems could Hit fighters with the up most accuracy….

On the bridge of the carrier, the commander looked out as he saw burning husks of metal, that were once ships or fighters, and the aurora from the battle, his carrier had not been attacked yet, but he soon readied anti fighter defenses.

He watched forth as brim stone flew from his own ship in massive beams of fire, fighters could be seen racing in front of his window they shot at incoming bombers.

From a hundred kilometers away, the destruction of so many fighters would look like a night filled with hundreds of fireflies, wisping about and periodically lighting up their lights. But the closer you got, the more you noticed how little those small explosions mattered. One craft was destroyed, one hundred would take its place. A vicious cycle.

Roughly one-fifth of the fighters had been wiped off the face of the universe, but that did not daunt anyone on the fighter wings. With each death, the swarm grew more intense. With each wing destroyed, the furry was multiplied, it was as if a man bestowed unto himself the world's most dangerous drugs, and multiplied them, but somehow kept his sanity(Partially) and ability to orchestrate complex manuvers. This was the Azahan fleet, ever fighting.

Orders were changed again. Now all craft were ordered to find and destroy the smallest capitol-ships, frigates, corvettes, and destroyers. A classic strategy. Destroy the smaller more manuverable ships first, leaving the bigger more powerful ships without support. A big battleship or carrier was nothing without support of other kind, nothing except a giant target.

From a small transport, in the midst of the fighting, a heavily protected Totalius sat there, his hunger and will permeating his soldiers, his long flickering mind twisting about as the sound of carnage echoed around him, feeding his will and whim, his Lords looking at him in a thought. What was going through their Master’s mind? It wouldn’t matter – the Force called him to only one destination, and he would go to the will of the Force, only to feed off of it.

The commander of the lead carrier ship looked to the screen with an emotionless face, he looked over to the con officer and said “Looks like there trying to kill our back bone, all right I want orders sent out to engage combat maneuver alpha charley eco, I also want fighters to spread out then come back in striking at the enemy craft ”

The con officer sent the elaborate order out encrypted heavily…

The other commander nodded he looked over to his tactical officer who also nodded and pressed his holographic console..

The masses of light grey, grey and black ships floated towards each other quickly; with in a few minutes they were in a spherical ball... There shields interlocked,

Mean while the fighters disappeared for a moment… quietly fading seeming to retreat… crating an ominous silence ….

The commander said with a serious voice” All ships fire!”

The fighter commander sat in his cock pit saying over the radio “all fighters maintain radio silence”

Another fighter confirmed “Roger that alpha one..”
With that the entire array of ships opened fire; fighters were lying in wait to see if the enemy would swarm the capital ships, the capital ships and smaller ships fired will full fury, tens of thousands of flack cannons Anti fighter turrets slasher beams and other weapons fired towards enemy fighter groups the might of the fire was so intense it almost blinded sensors and the visual was so bight it was unlivable like looking in to a massive star…

The fire was continuous all around firing at enemy fighter groups..

Tactics, guile, cunning, all were meaningless to a swarm this massive.

As the second and third waves were shot at, they moved in for the kills. They twisted and contorted into magnificent manuvers, exceeding G forces that would normally black out a normal human. Missiles, laser fire, other fighters, were naught int he grand scheme. Hundreds of thousands of craft, souls, individual 'gods' would not be stopped, they could not be stopped.

Fighter after fighter was shot down, destroyed, exploded into numberable pieces, but this did not phase them. All around the battle site, fighters did their mission with a supernatural zeal. The fighter losses were in the tens of thousands, but that did not matter, the beast, the swarm, the juggernaut was undaunted, and fought with a ferocity rarely seen.

The utmost care was made in protecting the bombers. Fighters and intercptors would fly into the path's of misiles and laser fire, destroying themselves so that the bombers could release their payloads of deadly cargo, rain it down upon the enemy in a firey haze that was destined to annihilate all who sat in its path.

Nothing could stop them, nothing would stop them, only the sweet taste of victory could satisfy the juggernaut's hunger.

OOC: I know. Everytime I tried to answer, I either had to go do something else, Or my server started to get screwy and says "Cannot Find Server" even when the internet is clearly on. Oh, I just realized I have an advantage over your missile barrage......

IC:
You do not want to do that.

"Sir? What should we do?"

"They're probably just trying to scare us into not fireing the beam into one of their ships. It's a very Noobish maneuver. Continue on. Fire when ready," however, there was that small nagging doubt in his mind that he could very well be wrong.

With the screams of the officers on the Imperator's could be heard, any force wielder wouldn't have payed of any mind. Totalius feeds on this fear, and the Kirtir are trained to use it to fuel their anger. They've felt the deaths of many people on a much larger scale durring the Phantom Wars. If the deaths of their comrads did anything, it just intensified their anger, hatred, and a sence of determination to destroy their enemy.

Though most of the Imperators were destroyed the Petulant TSD's ablative armor system helped prevent any serious harm. The Demolisher's Battlecruisers were completely untouched as it is their ablative armor system is a newer, more enhanced version of the Petulants as well as the Eradicator TSD's. The Demolisher's took advantage of the sudden halt of missile fire, engaged their cloak, and proceded to move way below the enemy fleet. Low enough to mask themselfes as the upper part of Quapital's outer atmosphere.

They slowly moved forward after they reached their destination and attempted to move behind the godulan fleet, still cloaked. They locked onto the rear, and waited for a bit.

The Kythons managed to destroy most of the fighters which were launched, but the rest of the fleet still had enough left inside their ship to launch a semi-effective strike against the enemy fleet.

The ITSD's which weren't destroyed by the innitial barrage were destroyed.
Only a few which servived was just enough to launche a few fighters. The Eradicator's also held more fighters than the ITSD's and since not too many of those were destroyed, they had enough backup fighters to launch when needed.

OOC:
Casualty update:

175 ITSD Mk III's destroyed
20 Eradicator's destroyed
20 Assimilator Class TSD's destroyed
5 Petulant Class TSD's destroyed.

Some odd thousand Tie's destroyed (will calculate number later)

OOC: Remember, Fractal Torpedos detonate in the form of rather large Shatterspace anomalies. A type of destabilized region of space that effectively rips anything and everything caught within to pieces. The primary effect of this is that all matter in the shatterspace is torn apart, armor, hull, people, so on and so forth, with no consideration of how hard or malleable such affected substances might actually be.

Just imagine getting struck by several dimensional tears and that should be a proper equivalent.

As pay attention to the infectious blotches as well, they kinda don't pay attention to the hardness of the material they disintegrate either.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Sir, they are maintaining main weapon power."

Maximillian gave a peremptory 'Oh well' shrug.

"Send a message to the Huntarian Alliance fleet as follows: 'We are trying to avoid destroying the Aphotic but for all accounts it is about to destroy itself. I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm too busy stifling back laughter.'"

"Aye sir."

"Tactical Control, keep an eye on those cloaked battleships and be ready with our response as soon as they decide to amble back into visual. I want our response to be a big fat surprise... and ready the second salvo."

"Aye sir."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Four Horsemen continued to put forth colossal volleys of Shardbolt fire into the enemy fleet, surging forward into the bulk of the enemy fleet at this particular point in time with several massive walls of explosive Shardbolt fire and disintegration nodules preceding their arrival.

With two hundred and fifty collective Kython Slaughterkings and Deathlords attached to each of the Four Horsemen providing power to defensive systems at the same time as pumping out shardbolt fire, the shields of each massive vessel remained strong. Enemy counterfire was intense, but the Huntarian Imperials were unfortunately outnumbered, even though they had more sensor contacts.

And as the cloaked enemy vessels attempted to move up from behind, Maximillian could only chuckle to himself as he watched their Gravitonic Signatures move forward...

Completely ignoring the one thing in the system they should never had neglected in the first place...

The barrage had barley dented the massive combined shield of the ships… it weakened 2 sides by 30% at most On the port and aft side of the shield.

The commanders stood out looking at the seen of intense fire, a few ships had been taken out before they grouped up, but it wasn’t to bad, only 4 smaller ships lost, they were piles of debris floating out side the shield, husks of what they once were .

The commander looked over to his tactical officer and said”Fire all weapons, all fighters engage!”

Quickly but surely the ships turrets recoiled once again, beams of fire raced forth towards group of fighters, rapid fire pulses of Anti fighter fire spewed out from every ship, the entire area was filled with federal fire as almost no inch of local space around the orb was left blank from anti fighter fire.

Fighters rushed out from behind asteroids and clusters of debris, they declaoked as well there forms shimmering, thousands of fighters out flanked enemy fighter groups from behind , both sides, up and down firing every thing they had at groups of fighters, fire and forget missiles, anti matter rail cannons and pulses of anti tacyon weaponry light up the small area, glorious amounts of light, could be seen from the dead airless void, no sound could be heard accept in the cockpit or on ships.. it was a silent deadly, but butefull show..

Fighting ever harder the Azahan did. Dodging, weaving, turning, twisting, and exploding in brilliant displays of orange and dark blue. But then, an order came, and suddenly, every single fighter seemed to turn on their heels and haul ass out of the fight.

Far off in the distance, well out of the enemy's weapons range, the thousands of carriers popped back into existence. The fighters, bombers, and interceptors hurried as fast as they could back to the carriers.
As the fighters ran, the bombers stayed in the rear, using their hind gunners to pick off any fighters or missiles incoming towards them.

The commander on the USS Trenton looked out towards the expanse of ships and the battle going on, he sighed as he saw the glorious light pulses and beams racing around the lifeless void of space, the fleet formed up gliding a little fast finally reaching friendly formation, they began charring up there weapons, thousands upon thousands of turrets and missiles armed targeting other enemy formations.

The commander of the lead ship stood and watched as his fleet fired there weapons, sounds of energy fire missiles and beam weapons filled the bridge, officers were rushing around with androids, it was a hectic seen, but it was silent as the light from the battle illuminated, from the battle out side… masses of fire could be seen even from the farthest point of the system ..

The admiral's eyes bulged again as he screamed, spattering spit and phlegm all over the console infront of him. "It is time! They think they have won so easily! SUPRISE SUPRISE!"

The rumble was bigger than before, like space and time itself was being rent open as if it were tough human flesh. The continium seemed to almost scream in pain, as a much different type of FTL system ripped a gaping bleeding hole in the space.

Out from this single hole, ships, massive ships, ships dwarfing the carriers. Each one was nearly 2 kilometers in length, and there were alot. Over 400 to an estimate.

On the far other side of the enemy fleet, the mass of carriers reappeared, but this time in much smaller numbers. Instead of a hundred thousand, there were now twenty thousand. The other carriers were not to be seen.

The Abh fleet had been sitting quite nicely near the planet with very little interest in anything. The ships from Huntaer were noticed by their cloak detection devices but the extent of alarm was merely to track them. If they were to move towards the fleet, then they would meet the muzzle of over a thousand Graivton cannons.

The Keldeij and Sylvanna were linked together so that Admiral Trife and Imeprial Admiral Gaf'ton could monitor the battle and map out plans for what to do with the planet below them. Lord Rahl was currently unavailable at the moment and Keirn've was off fighting in Neo Zeta on a mission from the AIA. Commander Savage was also in Neo Zeta governing a planet that had just been aquired and was seeing to the care of its people. The number of veterans in ground warfare were quickly dwindling which was becoming a problem in the Empire.

"What's the status of the first Abh+ marine division?"

Gaf'ton changed the display of the map to an image of Hyperspace. "They are about thirty minutes away. Once they arrive, they can begin operations as they have the customary load of weapons and support. If we can get the D'Harans here in time, the ground battle will be a great success with Lord Rahl leading them. What's the battle outside look like?"

The map returned to its normal position. "A new fleet from Azaha has arrived with a new fleet numbering above 400. It seems we may need to return to the battlefield to put an end to this more quickly."

Gaf'ton focused his one eye on Trife. "Perhaps you should have stayed and finished them all off as I had instructed you. You know the only ones that we trust are other Abh and our closer allies. This is a battle in space and we are the only representatives of the people of the stars. If the situation does not improve, our combined fleet will finish this."

"Yes your highness. I beg your forgiveness."

The expression softened somewhat. "We are an empire Admiral Trife and our aid was asked for. This is something that does not happen often. We have few trusted allies and we hardly care to have many more unless we feel that an alliance would be beneficial otherwise we merely trade with others. Remember to always show strength and respect your enemy and hope they are a worthy adversary."

I have to agree with Azaha on this one. TFU, your ships are going way to fast. It's technically impossible to do what you're doing. They would be soooo far below Azaha's ships that you'd need to go back up, which case he'd have enough time to consolidate and attack you in responce.

"Ah excellent. All we need now is our marine division. What's their status Cheif?"

"They are preparing to enter normal space as we speak."

Gaf'ton pushed his cape aside and stood tall. "Show me."

The front of the command deck shimmered and became translucent revealing the outside darkness of space. At first there was nothing but mere seconds later, a tear in the fabric of space was opened and five large marine carriers came forth.

"I wonder who the commander is for this division."

Admiral Trife walked up beside him. "I have no idea."

The answer to their inquiries were met when a transmission came through from one of the carriers. A black haired man with steele grey eyes flashed on screen. "I am colonel Riearios of the D'Haran first division. My men are prepared to drop at anytime Admirals."

"D'Harans? Good I like their style of fighting." Gaf'ton turned back to the colonel. "What supplies have you brought?"

"Standard ground units and artillery your highness."

"Good. Get your men to their dropships. You hit the dirt in fifteen minutes with your first objective is securing a landing zone for supplies and reinforcements. Once that is complete you are to roll out armored divisions and begin capturing the major cities. Their should be Huntarian soldiers there as well to help with intelligence on the planet. The screen disappeared leaving the Abh to themselves. "Chief, open a link to the Huntarians and inform them that we are prepared for a ground assault."

Huntarian Alliance,
This is the Sylvanna of the Abh Empire. Our ground forces have arrived and will assist you in reclaiming the planet. They are scheduled to drop in fifteen minutes and will see you on the ground.

"Sir! They're turning. Looks like we've put them on the run!"

Maximillian's expression turned even more predatory as the Four Horseman barged their way towards the flagship, which even now was attempting to turn away from the assault.

"Commence secondary missile bombardment. Full Tachyon weaponry. Focus fire on the engine blocks of all vessels targeted for capture."

The commands were relayed immediately.

As suddenly as it started, the Shardbolt fire stopped, almost instantly replaced with a renewed wave of torpedos that specifically sought out the most powerful vessels in the Huntarian Imperial fleet. The sole targets of these new torpedos were the main engines, part of an effort to prevent the enemy vessels from leaving...

The Aphotic took the first wave easily. The second one.... Gave a few problems for the old ship. The engines managed to survive most of the attacks, since they were covered fairly well. However, they were for the Godulans luck, still designed to stick out as giant "HIT ME! HIT ME!" targets.
It was, after all, the Empire's first Super Command Ship ever constructed.

The ship rocketed violently as it was hit with a second wave of torpedoes. It continued to move onward, but much slower....

Quapital:

"You could've alearted us earlier you were here and we might've not lost the space battle! We could have used your tactical knowlege! You fought in the second Phantom Wars and you didn't reveal yourself untill AFTER the empire leaves? What type of a lord are you!?!" Governor Moss was obviously furrious after the news of late. He was discussing what is going to happen next now that the empire has retreated. This other figure, was dressed in black robes, and stood stairing out at the horizon of the planet's center city. This... Figure, could see a small line move on in from the horizon. Except, horizon's don't move. Nor did it move upward either.

"They're comming governor. But... I sence that someone else is already here. I have felt this presence before. When I lead the forces against the Phantoms."

"What are you saying?"

"A Malkir is here Moss. Be on your guard."

"What? Why didn't we detect him?"

"Obvious isn't it? He came in cloaked. Probably a Vampire Starfighter."

"Why haven't you senced him? You're the most pathetic Kirtir Lord I've ever met! --Argh--" The figure didn't change his position. However, as the governor began to choke, he slowly turned around, "Unlike the Sith Lords and most Kirtir Masters, I don't need to lift my hands to use the force to choke you," the figure slowly walked up to Moss. "Do you question my powers?"

"Not-- At all Lord Aunshi. Not at all. Now, what should we do?"

"First off, get your missile turrents ready for anti-air assault. Second, prepair the Space Marines for city defences. They will be our best support."

"What are you going to do about this Malkir?"

Aunshi moved behind the opened Chamber door, "Wait for him to arrive. You will sit at your desk."

"What?"

"NOW. You're the bait here. Don't worry, I won't let him kill you."

"Hmph," Moss did as he was told, and sat at his desk. He hoped Aunshi new what he was doing.

Dropship after dropship touched down on the dirt of Quapital colonel Riearios was the first one to touch down with about twenty marines in his ship. Hundreds more were right behind him. "I want teams one and two to branch out to the east and secure a perimeter of no less than ten kilometers. Four and five you have the west. Deunan, you and your squad is with me. We're going to do a little scoutting ahead and see who we can kill. Six, you have ten minutes to get mobile command up and running so we can start bringing in the artillery."

About fifty D'Harans in armor moved off with rifles loaded along with various other weapons like sidearms and blades conveniently tucked away. "Deunan, we're heading to the city to scout."

"Extend gravitonics to hold them from going hyper. Switch to Fractal Torpedos to breach that armor. Same targeting. I want that sucker legless inside of one minute. I AM timing you bastards!"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The massive missile bombardment continued unabated, the torpedos suddenly switched from the Tachyon torps to the more powerful Fractal Torpedos, better at breaching armor and bulkhead. At the same time, massive salvos of Shardbolt fire lanced out from each of the Four Horsemen, focusing upon the enemy vessel's engine block with renewed ferocity and tremendous might...

OOC: Ouch (for your troops)

The Aphotic jumped forward a huge groan of metal, which was being pulled and twisted, could be heard all over the ship. The ship was being pulled appart.

"ADMIRAL! STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY IS GOING TO COLLAPSE!"

"CEASE HYPER JUMP! NOW!"

As the Aphotic stopped, the groaning sound grew louder. I really hate that noise. Finnaly, it stopped and sparks and alarms went off.

"Admiral! Shields failed! Hull integrety is down by 40%!"

"Prepair for boarding parties! All troops to the hangar areas and any possible hull entrance!"

Magriel quickly ran through the halls of the Capital Palace on Quapital, using a holographic map as a guide which was given to him before he left for the Second Phantom Wars. He was there. A grand pair of arched doors was in front of him. Obviously leading to Governor Moss. He extended his arms forward, and moved them sideways swinging the massive doors open with the force. He quickly jumped into the air, and landed in front of Governor Moss, who was sitting at his desk in the middle of the roon.

"Governor moss, you are hereby arrested in the name of the Grand Republic of Huntaer."

"FOOL. You don't realise it don't you? The republic is still dead. And.... There's something you overlooked when you jumped on in here to arrest me."

"Which is....?"

::Me,:: Lord Aunshi activated his lightsaber and slashed down onto Magriels back, which he quickly sped around and blocked.

"I taught you how to fight in the Phantom Wars traitor!!"

"Do I know you from somewhere? I only fought along side with one Kirtir.... Oh ho ho OH! The Emperor will be most impressed to hear that I've killed his treterous apprentice. Time to die.... Darth Deshoonde."

And there was a clash of lightsabers, red and white. Moss quickly pressed the security button and awaited for the guards to arive. He ran from his desk, avoiding Magriel's glowing white blade and hid in a nearby closet.

And he thought his troubles were just beginning....

The marine dropships had finally settled and all were unloaded. About one hundred thousand in total had landed on the planet and the temproray LZ was a varitable for with heavy armor units patrolling the area. Light armored units began forming up with battalians and prepared to march on the capital city.

Riearios' unit was already at the threshold of the city. He and his men were hunkered down in the dirt for cover. His clyuno was close by which made communication easier. "This is colonel Riearios requesting four more platoons to converge on our location while the main unit brings up the rear."

Hand signals flashed in the air and they rolled over filing into the city and down alleyways to try and keep out of site. Such a small force wouldn't last to long head-to-head in a large fire fight.

Two of the four horsemen pulled up alongside the Aphotic, sniping away at troublesome weapons emplacements as a cloud of glowing green spiderlike craft jumped the gap upon the Huntarian Imperial Super Star Destroyer.

Slaymasters. Thousands of them. All latching onto the surface of the Aphotic and scrambling for the nearest openings in the hull for an entrance. Be it a hangar bay or a hull breach, the Kython Scourge would make its way in, and woe betide any who sought to stand in its way.

"Sir! Hull breach on deck 80!"

"Send out Dark Squad. Have their Kirtir Master's defend the area untill we clear the zone for hyperjump."

"Report from engineering Admiral. Hyperdrive damaged. We can't jump to Light Speed."

"Then we sit here, and defend our selfs. Every man to your battle stations. Prepair for boarding parties," the admiral walked over to a pannel and pushed in some numbers. It opened up and revealed some Kirtir Battle Riffles. He grabbed one and loaded both the main gun, and the grenade launcher.

"Do not give in to fear."

Even now, portions of the hull had been converted into smaller four-armed insectoids that scrambled along the surface towards the nearest hull breach while their larger compatriots worked at disabling more weapons turrets and even moving towards the engine block to 'loosen' things a bit.

These smaller creatures, sharing features of a humanoid, a praying mantis, and some form of monstrous eel surrounded the hull breach, joined almost constantly by more compatriots from both their Slaymaster progenitors and the Four Horsemen.

As their numbers increased, an chittering hiss, superimposed over what sounded like the agonized screaming of various sentients, began to insinuate itself into the minds of the humans still on board. Like thousands upon thousands of insects roiling in a single mass, the sound could not be blocked by plugging ears or closing eyes. The pitch and tune of the chittering shifted from second to second, a hideous symphony that the Kythons had long ago perfected.

On the main bridge, the horrific crystalline shapes could be seen scampering past, occasionally stopping to look in at those still within the vessel, and even more occasionally tapping the glass with a monofilament talon or Slaymaster blade, leaving divots and pockmarks in the glass before they moved on elsewhere.

But instead of any breaches, primary effort was focused on the fighter bays. Dozens of Slaymasters crawled into the massive openings in the Super Star Destroyer's bays, opening fire on anything that even remotely resembled an impediment to their progress, be it a wreckage, a blast door, or a group of defenders.

All the while allowing the screaming to worsen.

"Admiral! We got some weird creature dudes on our hull."

"I need a better description than 'some weird creature dudes' lieutenant."

The lieutenant punched a few buttons on his computer, "It appears they're either eating or hacking into our hull."

The admiral touched a button on his belt, "All units prepair for boarding parties."

"Admiral! New readings! Alliance fighters coming in fast! Malkir boarding parties by the looks of it."

"Damn it."

The Admiral grabbed one of his ears in pain. So did the rest of the bridge's crew. "What the hell is that?!"

The Kirtir, however, seemed to be unefected. They we're able to drain out the noise without too much trouble.

The Admiral looked out the bridge's windows, and watched as the creatures crawled across, "What the hell are those?"

"They appear to be the same things which are eating away at our hull. Sir permission to speak freely?"

"Granted."

"I think we're boned sir."

"Agreed."

As the screaming continued, the crew became more consious of their weakening state. The Troopers were able to put out most of it due to intense training, however they can still hear it. They continued onward towards the Hangarbays to fight the enemy Slaymasters. The Kirtir Masters and Knights activated their red, orange and yellow blades. Deflecting most of the enemy fire. If there were any bullets or knifes, they simple stopped them by using the force. The first line of troopers were immediatly taken down by enemy fire, but the next bunch had their personal shields up (played KOTOR? Same thing). "CHARGE!" They hurled themselfes towards the enemy.

The Slaymasters, free to move somewhat more effectively than in cramped halls and corridors, jumped back at the defenders' charge. Though instead of coming back down or sinking back through the hangar bay, they hovered there in midair. For but a moment, they hovered motionless as blasterfire pinged off their shielding, then, their legs straightened out, forming an eight bladed chakram shape, and the whole grouping began to spin about each slaymaster's center axis like a monofilament chainsaw.

And then they dove, right into the defenders formation, their monofilament blades screeching along the floor and walls of the bay as they turned into veritable grinding wheels from hell.

On occasion, despite the tremendous speed of the Slaymasters in their dance of death, a Kirtir was fortunate enough to stab his or her lightsaber into the central disc of the slaymaster, though such often proved to be somewhat of a mixed blessing. On one hand, the Kython was disabled, on the other, in its dying throes it leveled out at waist level and smacked into a wall, and any living beings caught in its path would rather suddenly find itself unwillingly separated from its legs.

This onslaught, fierce though it was lasted for but a handful of moments before all of the slaymasters flooded out of the hangar bay. The reason for this shift was soon made clear by the chittering swarm that came scrambling into the hangar bay.

The smaller ones. The infantry. The Impalers.

Such an odd name for these slight monstrosities. Barely four feet tall at maximum height, they no less exuded a promise of death upon all who looked upon them as enemies.

They looked upon the defenders, their vicious maws clacking occasionally in anticipation, then, one by one, they leapt.

Upwards.

A slight zipping noise, somewhat akin to the firing of a silenced pistol, accompanied each Impaler's flea-like leap to latch onto the ceiling. After about fifty of the creatures latched on, the transfer stopped, and the Impalers once again turned to regard their enemies.

Then, one by one, the impalers ignited plasma blades from each of their four arms, creating a great cascade of light throughout the swarm, and those on the ground charged forward, slamming into the defenders in a frenzy of slashing blades and gnashing jaws. Above, the Impalers not only ignited their plasma blades, but took aim and fired at the enemy from above.

More and more impalers continued to flood into the hangar bay, some zipping onto the ceiling to bolster and replace lost numbers, while the rest surged forth with tooth, claw, and sword...
