Inbetween; a world that dwarfed even fabled Nar-Shaddaa in total criminal anarachy. It was, regardless, a world of the Cassiopeians and the first to come under the baleful, bloodshot eye of the lord of the invasion fleet; Lucian. The Right hand of the Emperor, he blessed of Pyaray and Nurgle, their instrument upon the universe; a universe he swore to scour into decay and apathetic entropy.

Here would be a fine beginning.

"My Lord; we have readouts on the world." A holographic representation sprung into existence, caressed by the fingers of the black lord of plague. He smiled softly beneath his helmet; gesturing so that fine points of red appeared across the map.

"These are the sites for primary bombardment and these-" Another gesture brought a sprinkling of blue dots "Are the sites for Space Marine deployment"

"Aye, my Lord."

"Open fire immediately; and order the battlegroups to link up with our positions. Here begins the doom of men"

The mighty cannons of the Pride of Pyaray and the other ships began to thunder; missles and torpedoes, and gouts of raw energy, hurled towards the world; Dreadclaw Assault pods began their tumultous descent towards the assaulted world below; Thunderhawk Gunships, Swiftdeath fighters and Doomfire bombers began their planned deployment and attack runs...It had begun

People were Soon Running when the Blasts came, Buildings Fell in ruins and already, 120 Beings were killed. Inbetween was Under Attack.

(OOC: Hataria, I said I'd join twice whilst participating in the debate. As a neutral, of course.

Also, the casualties are far too low for orbital bombardment. 120 killed would work if it were a unit of howitzers bombarding a hamlet, but this is a warfleet hitting population centres with enough power to blow a crater with a minimum of a 1km radius.

Or is this one of those residential colonies where everyone has a big farm to themselves?)

While the Bombardment was happening, someone was busy with something else, like Sending a Messenge to the enemy fleet

Enemy Cloneing Lab, Powerful Shields and Armor. the Only way to Destroy it is to go inside. They are Working on a Super Clone Trooper.

Signed, a Friend

Someone was telling the enemy something that would help them.

The Assault pods streaked across the sky; like terrible comets of manifest hate; slamming against the cold earth of Terra-Firma; loosing they're terrible occupants. They were amongst the most feared warriors in all the Imperium; the Plague Marines of Lucian, these devoted degenerate sons of Nurgle. It is said that once Lucian rivalled Remiel in strength and beauty; yet in the fall, he was chosen by the Lord of Death, made his most terrible servant, his most blessed Avatar. The diseased warriors poured forth; flesh bubbling beneath their armor, flies swarming about their forms as they moved forth; Lord Lucian had recieved a foreign communique, and was directing them towards the facility that had been earmarked; while he planned some other, forsaken action.

Dreadnaughts stomped across bodies, smashing those who were dead beneath the tyrant passing of their metallic bodies; whirring on their action to lash out with auto-cannon or las-cannon. The enemies of the Imperium would perish in the fires of this world; this would be the seal and sigil that marked future doom; a mark that showed the folly of the Cassiopeians and the undiluted might of the Imperium.

Lucian brooded above the world; his forces were moving; the Cloning Facility their main objective; but they were to be reinforced swiftly. He tapped a finger against the gleaming holographic map; several areas identified as major population centres beginning to flash.

The ships shuddered and reloaded, opening fire with volleys of biological weapons against the areas that their most glorious lord had designated. The foulest of Nurgle's gifts were being dispersed as by the will of the dark juggernaut; at his whim, this world could already have been more severely virus bombed...But not yet; Lucian had plans; plans that would soon come to glorious and terrible fruitition.

Outside The System, a lone Ship was Watching, a Victory Class Star Destroyer, a Black one. The Ship was Darth Bankai's own Ship, The Dark Knight. the Dark Lord of the Sith watched the Invasion of Inbetween, laughing as he watched the Chronosians Fall for the Plan. "Imperia will be Bowing to me soon, once she finds out that I can hit her with even the most Powerful Nation in The Universe." Bankai said, for the Cloneing lab was one of Imperia's Labs, The true Cloneing Lab where The Super Clones were was On The Planet Baji, 56,000 Light years From Darkkaan and Far From Inbetween.

The Chronosians would do Bankai work for him. "Take the Ship out of This System." Bankai said to the captian.

the Ship soon Jumped into Hyperspace, away from Inbetween

The Cassiopeians obviously knew nothing of the Imperium. The Chronosians were pawn to no one; always black hearted conquerers along the lines of their own fickle whims, this invasion was no difference. Simply a sweeping move to conquer and enslave the extra-galactic filth who again and again attempted to enforce their pitiful impotent wills upon the Milky way. No; the Chronosians served as puppets to none...

The Marines moved, a strong unit, opening fire at the facility as they drew nearer; a holographic schematic flashed across the display in the Commander's helmet, and he nodded lightly; directing his men. He had his orders; to infiltrate the facility; allow the TechMarines to fulfill their duty; and then leave it utterly destroyed...He let loose with a blast of bolter fire; ducking, rolling behind cover as they drew nearer; his voice rising over the cacophany

"ONWARDS BROTHERS! WE SHALL PREVAIL! THE EMPEROR IS WITH US, BY HIS WILL WE SHALL TRIUMPH! BY HIS GLORY SHALL WE BE MADE GLORIOUS!"

There came a sound; a buzzing, a humming, a strange sound as of some hideous swarm descending upon the labyrinthian entrance to the facility; and they did come. Servo-skulls; countless engraved and enshrined skulls of the glorious servants of the Imperium; hollowed, fitted with advanced lift and surveillance faculties; howling down through the passageways, their all-seeing eyes focussing back to their source, a Tech Priest, whose cyber-eyes linked in with their ever-persistant sight. They came, the first wave of surveillance; firing off small las-gun blasts at the defences as they streaked past, mapping; determining...Seeing...

Sadly for the Chronosians, they didn;t know about one thing that soon attacked their Skulls, Dragonfly Droids, Armed with Blasters, these Droids were Small, fast, and Maneuverable.

the Droids soon Swarmed to the Invaders and fired

The Servo-Skulls were never intended for combat, never intended to be mighty warrior droids, to stand unified against the frail metal-hordes of the Cassiopeian Heretics. They served their purpose in mapping out the main tunnels; pouring forth, even as some exploded in waves of cracklign flame, shards of metal and bone smashing against the walls as they detonated.

They had served their purpose, indeed...

Missles coursed from the higher ground, the constant wave of Chronosian assault; bolter fire side-by-side with plasma and the hail of near constant missles, pouring down into the underground. Dreadnoughts forged ahead; autocannon and lascannons firing constant streams of projectiles and energy down into the darkness; towards the defences and the pitiful droids defenders of these heretical filth.

A Defiler moved forth, it's mighty battle cannon roaring; flames gouting as it fired and advanced; smashing at the walls, the ceiling; anything; it's insane roar echoing over the rabid howls of the Dreadnoughts; their imprisoned pilots chained and tormented, roaring for blood and damnation.

Aside from the covering fire from the high ground, no marine had yet progressed; only the heavy engines of the Imperium; the combatants glorified in war forever; the venerated walking-sarcophagi of the war-imprisoned Dreadnoughts.

The Battle Droids were soon Falling back, Makeing it Look like They were Heading to Defend The More Importent Areas. But If The enemy Thought they were going to get The Lab on a Silver Plate, they should know the Number One Rule: Never Trust a Silver Plate

The enemy had been driven back by the relentless volleys of the Plague Marines; and so the order was sent for a strategic withdrawl, to further regroup and 'dig in' as it were, at the entrance to the facility. A strategic firebase had been assembled, and the Marines were busy, attending to their weapons; engaging in the brutal and savage assault of this world, which even now burned about them...

Inbetween had suffered under the full brunt of an Imperial invasion, but there was more horror yet to come. High above, a lone figure sat amidst decay and death. Corpses adorned the walls, pinned to corroded metal, he touched their cold frail forms with gauntlet claw and drew the blood across the ground, whispering in arcane thought. He paused, hissing in eldritch chant, voice rising to a fever pitch, a howl of black corrupted rage. He crackled and shimmered, warp energy dancing about the room, coruscating in rainbow waves of power as he faded.

Lucian was elsewhere.

Materialising, amidst his Legion, amidst the howls and glorious roars and bellows of his brethern, his kin, his servants; he smirked softly. He let the shaft of his scythe slam against the ground; the blade dripping corruption, the very blessing from the base of Papa Nurgle's throne; the glorious gift of the Plague God. He cackled, striding forth, surveying the facility. The psychic aura of death itself descended with him, enveloping all of Inbetween in it's embrace of fear and apathy.

"Begin" He hissed, a sneer upon his face beneath the helmet he wore; turning back to his legion as the prolonged and focussed bombardment of the facility began in earnest from orbit.

"None shall be left alive..."

While The Fall on Inbetween (Which no one cared about) was happening, other things darker then anything was starting up as Darth Imperia, Dark Lady of The Sith was on a table, dead, on another table, was another Body, Imperia's New Android Body.

she soon Open her Eyes and came off The Table. The Body was more like Silver Armor whileThe Head was like Imperia's old Biological Head.

She looked out The Old Body as it burst into Black fire.

"MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" She laughed.

She was now The New Ruler of the Cassiopeians

OOC: Just curious; if the fall of Inbetween means nothing, then why exactly am I invading it, besides it being the first stage of me burning your galaxy to cinders and enslaving or murdering every sentient within it?
