King William Nellis XII: I am proud to preside over the first meeting of the Council of Forza. It is a personal honor to bring such an exciting form of government to our great nation. Now without further interruption...BEGIN!

First Order: Public Smoking

Council Member Rosalind Coleridge stands:

Rosalind Coleridge: I have very little to say concerning this matter except this: Studies clearly show that smoking is not only a hazard to those who smoke but those around them. On top of that a public poll conducted by Nellisland University shows that 77% of people wish to ban public smoking. With these studies we must make the right decision and ban smoking in all public areas. Thank you.

It is asked if anyone has anything to negate:

Council Member Clayton Wymore stands:

Clayton Wymore: Studies show that one out of five types of cancer is lung cancer. However no study can clearly show that second smoke causes this. I emplore the council to wait until a real study can be shown. Thanks you.

From the office of King William Nellis XII

Thank you for praise. In our country the main stable of drugs are banned. (OOC: Basically the U.S. stable) We do allow alchohol although that is one of the upcoming discussions for the new council. As you have seen we will allow people to smoke in their own homes. Once again I thank you for interest.
