The government of the Republic of Gran Cienaga, wishing to expand its trading options and foster peaceful relations with the international community, extends an invitation to all nations to exchange embassies. Both diplomatic and economic relations are desired, although nations only wanting to establish one of these two options are more than welcome to apply. Nations seeking to create diplomatic ties only need to leave their country's name and the name of their diplomat; after doing so you will automatically be granted an embassy in the capital of Penhalington. Nations seeking to create trade relations only need to leave their country's name and the products they wish to trade.

Furthermore, we have a minimal standing army (the rest of the military consists of civilian militia forces) that would be inadequate for overseas ventures.
