OK, I am a MT nation, and almost all threads appear to be FT threads. All the MT threads have atleast 7 pages worth. No one starts new ones that are open these days. And in all the alternate histories and stuff, pretty much everything is taken.

This is just a rant, not a whine. I am trying to make a point. Don't flame, you'll only ruin your social (OK, NS) reputation.

It's ok, as long as you don't mind Nazi vampires, but MT was never really my cup of tea ^-^

So, now that my reputation is crippled, I'd like to say that I am MT, and that you just have some bad luck right now.

But its true that using orbital lasers and massive cannons with world blinding destruction draws players together.

In my day, it was MT as far as the eye could see. Only one or two FTs running around, having a few RPs here and there.

Of course, this was back before II, when the Nationstates forum was the main hotspot.

And we had to walk uphill both ways through the n00bs, with no mods to protect us.

Meh, I've been finding MT a little more dull the longer I play here...FT provides new twists besides the usual MT stuff. Not to say MT's not fun, just sometimes it's pretty repetetive.

FT was not popular than as it is now, and I believe that was because of the old forum. But then NS got this here new-fangled forum on...what's it called? Ah yes, Jolt, and then the MT started losin' popularity. The n00bs, probably in cahoots with FT, started a wave of crappy MT threads, which caused MT to lose popularity. FT took over, the n00bs subsided, and I invented FMT, or Future Modern Tech. And so, that is why you youngin's call each other "dude".

Yes, wouldn't it be PMT instead of FMT?

We've got the same problem across the board. There aren't that many FT threads that aren't closed or too many pages either. What we really need is more activity from everyone, except that would encourage more n00b RPs which would drive other people away. Then the n00bs get bored, and activity dies down again.
