Huahinian patrols in the Southern Ocean have picked up distress calls coming from McDonald Island, owned by Turetel. Stratellite images have picked up a volcanic eruption, which has since ceased, but Huahinian Forces are on their way to bring humanitarian aid.
A request has been sent to the Turetel Gov't requesting permission, but due to the urgency of the situation, and denial of permission will be ignored.

Careful. Last time you did this you provoked a full scale war with half of TOA.

I will give Turetel another day to respond before I carry on.

Huahinian forces have landed with emergency relief packages to try and sort out the mess left by Turetel's Gov't which is in hiding after the volcanic eruptions. The island has almost doubled in size since the eruption due to the flow of the magma.
Huahinian forces have pushed the local armed militia back to Laurens Peninsula, where Mt Aubert de la Rue has prevented most of their vehicles from travelling. An armoured car, as well as other assorted unarmoured vehicles are staging a last stand at Atlas Cove. The geologists and other scientists stationed there have welcomed the incoming forces, who have given them supplies of food and water, as well as the option to be relocated.
An airfield is currently being constructed on the far right of the island.

"The Realm shall take no action against Huahin for annexing McDonald Island. We wish Huahin luck in restoring the infrastructure on McDonald Island. The Realm hereby officially recognize Huahin as a sovereign and independent nation, and we would like to discuss the possibility of establishing diplomatic relations between Huahin and the Realm."

[OOC: I never did recognize you as a sovereign nation, did I? About time I corrected that.]

Huahinian forces faced little resistance on the McDonald Islands, where the population greeted with curiosity but no aggression.

However, the much larger Heard Island still presented a problem. Currently Huahinian forces had no vehicles other than 4x4s, so the Armoured Car situated around Atlas Cove presented an on going problem.

However, further up the mountain, a crack sniper team had set up a tripod. and were preparing to neutralise the threat. Despite being almost a mile away from the target, they now had a clear shot on a fuel cannister by the side of the armoured car whilst it was filling up The sniper looked down the scope, whilst his spotter measured the wind and the distance. He fed the data in to his hand held computer, and out came the required numbers. The spotter then told the sniper where to aim to compensate for the distance and wind. The sniper held his breathe, and composed himself, and he kept a constant pressure on the trigger whilst he pointed his high powered rifle. When the spotter gave the green light, he applied just a bit more pressure, so as to not spoil his aim, and the bullet left the muzzle at supersonic speeds. Almost immediatly the fuel cannister exploded, and the resulting explosions caused the fuel tank of the armoured car to ignite, and the flames ripped through the vehicle.

The 1st Pathfinding Rgmt had scored its first kill.

OOC - No, I don't think you ever did. Where shall we discuss diplomatic relations?

Huahinian forces had almost vanquished the rebels from the island. But they were on high alert after the sighting of New Genetican forces. Forces from the McDonald Islands had retreated back to Heard Island, as there was no resistance on the smaller group of islands.

A giant Unity class Aircraft cruiser had made its way over from the south Pacific. Carrying over 60 fighters alone, it was a few miles out from Heard Island. AWACS planes were circling over head, whilst the delta winged Arrow fighters were on constant patrol.
