Possable war with Australia has been avoided thanks to the quick thinking of the crew of the BAP Almirante Grau. Due to the end of this crisis, the Republica a del Peru sees no need to participate in this conference.

Naktan....we invaded Somalia. So what it happened. Sel said its not to be played like that and I haven't done squat otherwise. I've backed down from every war ICly.

IC stuff

Saudi Arabia: Oil issue resolved peacefully, our ships left Red Sea.
France: Need I say?
Spain: Need I say?
Djibouti: Misconception ruled this >.>
Ethiopia: Misconception/interpretation on this to
Lithiuania: No direct relations, ended with Djibouti
New Caledonia: Plot device of the terrorist attack on cruise ship to start terrorist hunt.
Italy: >.> We can't attack them, but we declared war on them, meaning we'll help those who can attack.
Peru: No attack...Resdyn being a bitch. Peru is Australia's ally and things would never happen like that.
Argentina: WTF explains that.
Singapore: Yay ally....
USA: YAY ALLY
South Africa: YAY ALLY

Would Australia ever invade Somalia?

Would Australia ever invade Somalia?

As we could clearly see, yes, they did.

But, Denmark would like to remind Peru that declaring war on Australia would be just as stupid as Australia's actions.

That was a rhetorical question. And we never declared war on Australia - but we were perfectly willing to defend ourselves from what we veiwed as another imperialist action by Australia. (I LIKE the word imperialist :D )

I beg to differ:

Saudi Arabia: reacted to your invasion of Somalia
France: almost ignored except when Spain declared war on you...and when the US joined in...
Spain: declared war in response to grave misconception in Djibouti
Djibouti: misconception brought by aggressiveness of Australia and Spain
Ethiopia: same as above
New Caledonia: you wanted to invade it and take it for your own, but never had the opportunity to exploit it
Italy: as uncooperative as Australia, if not worse
Peru: justified in refusing Australian aid based on history of the facts
Argentina: same as above
Singapore: after trade embargo, resumed normal relations
USA: after trade embargo, resumed semi-normal relations
South Africa: no clue, but he's not being that explicit in his intentions...

Australia has gravely misunderstood most of its actions even as they were being committed...this is indicative that your country did not thoroughly think through all of its implications and consequences and upon realizing their grave consequences attempted to bug out...

Italy is the extreme opposite...realizing the implications, Italy chooses to ignore them...

New Caledonia was not invasion. >.>
I beg to differ. That was a plot-device to make it realistic that Australia would now deal with terrorist attacks because of their action in Somalia.

I know...that's what happened...before the terrorist thing got in, there was some eyeing of the territory, which I ultimately wanted to avoid...

perhaps...but without any kind of support, you'd be left kind of alone...

And if applying diplomatic sanctions won't work, we'll try something else...

To cripple Italy, cut off oil supplies. They don't have much of a reserve. Not even a year's worth for peacetime. In war, a few months'll kill them. As long as you nail them before they can get Libya, that'll stop them cold.
