The year is 2525. the place harvest. the Marathon II was on its normal patrol and about to jump away when it got a contact at long range. Captian Dale said," lets check it out." then as they started heading toward it. it suddnely dissapered and reapered 10 miles in front of it. the Marathon II tried to contact it the strange ship open fire with a blue laser. the Marathon II fired it MAC guns destroying the ship and saving Harvest.

Tesk looked up and saw an explosion, "Tesk to Kyru, prepare to engage enemy". "Yes sir"! came the reply. Kyru was in orbit and sighted the ship, Kira, he said, get me firing solution to impact the missles with the 3 shot, unlock pods A-C. "Sir yes sir"!

occ-only 1 ship attacked harvest you know.

We aren't having storymode, remember, you voted for mass chaos, and that means we go around killing everyone in sight, besides, we are just waiting for more people, we could do story while we wait if you want.

Wouldn't be very fun if there were no respawns. Should we have a ground engagement, or space engagment first?

how about a long running space battle that goes from planet to planet.

I got it, you like space engagements, I like ground combat, this planet will be space fight, next will be ground fight, whoever wins gets to decide what planet we will fight on, for stratigical purpuces.

what about the coming back later hen theres more people?

It's okay, both our volleys hit.

occ-no my ship destoryed most of your missles and dodge your guns. the only reasons the missles didn't miss is that they have giudence packages that tracked my ship.

"quick hit them with nukes get 1 of our nukes to take out the incoming missles.

OOC:No godmoding eh? Ah well I will take you out when it comes to ground combat. Just kidding.

The two spartans stood atop a cliff in Sigma Octus six looking out at the mass of bodies, there was easily six hundred of them. "Two of us?, said Tesk, and hundreds of them"? "Unbeleivable". "I know, said Zoul, piss poor odds for them". "Take aim, said Tesk, I'll be down here". Tesk came up on the COM, "Fire". he said. Zoul fired the sniper rifle, and Tesk tossed in a grenade and rushed in.

as Major Asshole's troops came under fire from 2 spartans they got together and fired everything the had at the spartans including machine guns,rockets,sniper rifles,grenande lanchers and mortars.

"Zoul! Take out those rockets and grenades"! The Spartan was taking heavy fire, he jumped fully three meters in the air, kicked one of the rocket launchers, grabbed it, thew a grenade and started shooting the warthogs, just then a small bulbous creture jumped into the body of a helljumper all unnoticed.

the 2 spartans quick fell back almost dead. they may have been beaten but they killed 87 and wounded 57 of the helljumpers

"Retreat"! Yelled Tesk. Then a helljumper jumped up and started shooting blindely.

there falling back quick surrond them and dig in.

Tesk sat in a forest scowling while Zoul bandaged him up, "That bastard with the sniper rifle got me". he said. "Well it looks like they have a traiter at least, he said, though it's odd, I could have sworn I shot him in the chest".

set up the mortors and bombard every square foot of that grove.

They heard bombing sounds, "Damn, said Tesk, time to move on, lets see if they can outrun a Spartan". They burst out of the grove at top speed. Back in the camp, Private Ken snuck up behind a helljumper and shot him in the head.

Tesks sensors picked up heavy movement behind them as the sped past mines erupted all around them, they were going so fast that most of the damage missed, but it did chip at their sheilds.

Just as they passed Tesk could have sworn he saw a grunt on a hill, then two banshees started bombarding the area around them.

get them! as they hell jumpers blocked the end of the mine field the spartans took little damage as the sped through. the hell jumpers opened fire and illed 1 of the spartans by shooting the legs and then fell on a mine. the other was killed soon after kiling another dozen helljumpers.

what the hell is that! kill it! no wait stun it then bring it back to me.

Sorry, forgot to mention that, on ground battles whoever dies first commands either covenant or flood, if your not okay with that tell me. move the wounded to the back then charge that bastard after lobing 3 salvos from the mortars over the hill.

"Now, said the Elite, A group of red armored Elites, led by a Gold armored Elite, charged into the middle of the group.

all snipers fire get the mgs at the base of the hill lay down a base of fire then charge damn it!

no 1 was killed after falling on mine the other was killed after killing a dozen helljumpers.

A grunt with a plasma cannon showed up on the hill and made hell with the helljumprs, and the Elites were causing some chaos.

hit the tuuret at the top with rockets. kill all but the gold bastard! i want him alive. the suriving covies we getting slaughtered by the helljumpers.

A giant blu ball of energy rose over the top of the hill and landed right in the middle, killing five helljumpers.

Oh, a little more then, that party compromised of 10 Elites, and I started with 425, and theres that grunt, so I have 414 left.

minus the 57 wounded is 338

how the airstike took out half of you putting you at 207 then my force of over 300 killed the rest of you.

Elites are a match for Spartans, and god knows what Hunters can do, and theres the dropships I have in orbit.

And Jackels can give marines trouble.

elites aren't a match for spartans they are a match for regular marines but these are helljumpers.

and the hunter were killed by my tanks.

Theres still the matter of Hunters, and Elites are just as strong as Spartans.

Fine, fine, what planet next?
