Oh, and ethanol does provide enough power for tanks, but you have to carry much more, as you get less mpg with ethanol.

But thats why there is biodesiel :D

EDIT: Oh, did you do the math for this? I think its like 200 acres of corn to meet the consumption needs of ethanol assuming everyone switched over to it in America. I don't really remember, its all on a word document at home. But I'm pretty sure a couple million barrels of fuel extra wouldn't be enough excess to sell.
