No One Want's a Magic Nation...

Magic Sorcery
18-03-2006, 06:06
AP: The Emperess of the Empire of Magic Sorcery Has Fallen Ill. So ill no magical spells can cure her. Doctors are optomistic about her health, and her ability to pull through, but its all a matter if her strength holds out.

In the Mean time Emergency Chancellor Seishiro Kotobuki will take controll of the country, untill the Emperess recovers.

Chancellor Kotobuki blames recent polotics for the Emperess' poor health.
"It was her goal to bring the nation out of the isolationist stance, but apparently no one really wants a Magical Nation, or anything to do with us. The feelings of old are still with us."

As to what the Chancellor's plans are, are still unknown or secret. Many are begning to grow uneasy about this. Only about two nations have acutally reached out to MS for potential relations. MS reached out to another, but was rejected.

Many citizens have taken to the street, protesting the way the world continues to shun their nation. So far all have remaind peacefull, but as to how long that can last, is begning to look grim.

There is only one other potential freindly nation out there, and that is the Republic of Kanami. Although Kanami hasn't had many relations with MS, it has with MS's neighbor Kurona.

Yuki Honda-Min. Of Defense

Madison Yuske-Min. of Foreign Relations

Miyuki Chinchiro-Co. Min. of Foreign Relations

Yukito Honda-Chief Justice of the Supreme Court

Touya Makato-Minister of the Interior

Koji Appa-Co Min. Of Defense

Seishiro Kotobuki-Emergency Chancellor

All of these notable hand picked Sorceres and Sorceress, gathered in the confrense room, to discuss, what to do.

Madison sadly stated "Any future realtions with any nation are begining to look futile.

Miyuki responded "Several of our embassies have been turned down, rejected, or won't fit. Is it possible about our recent annexation in this region?"

"No." Said the chancelor. "The fact of it is, no one wants a Magic Nation. No one needs a magic nation. We're either supersticious fools, or evil people. I admire the Emperess for trying, but look what it has done to her health. She's clining to her death bed, as we speek."

Koji asked: "So what next?"

"Simple."

Madison responded with: "Don't tell me war. So many nations try to claim war, it never works."

"No not war. Subtile tactics to show, just how much we aren't happy. First order: Initative I. Koji?"

"Uh yes Initiave I, D-Deport all Non-Magical people from our territory."

Madison blerted in: "Sir, there are a lot of people that live in our annexed territories, that are non magical..."

"Silence! Deport them all."

"What about the two embassies?"

"Shut them down."

"We'll show the world this: If you don't want us, then we don't want you."

They all left.

"I don't like this." Many mutterd.

[ooc: Honestly does it take a rocket scientist to realize it's a magic based nation? Hence it's name]

IC:

Tomoyo didn't like the looks of this. MS was their closest neighbor. She spoke before the Raven Order pleading to allow Kurona to begin relations with it's neighbor. She made the proposlas to the council, it was struck down, she veteod the strike, the Raven Order, Vetoed her.

"The answer is no Tomoyo." Said one of the mebers

"Do you realize how good of an ally they could be. They have always left us in peace. I know many of you think Witch Craft is all Satan, but I don't. And nither does half the nation."

"Well the other half does."

"I don't see the other half burning Harry Potter "

"That is very diffrent, Princess. These people actually perform it. I'm sorry, but the veto stands."

"Look I'm sorry if a few of you Catholics feel everything is un-godly, but let's think realistcally here."

"Enough from you!"

She couldn't say anymore. She led her nation through war, disaster, and now she couldn't even get a few ultra-conservatives to change her mind. Price of being Shinto.

Teril d' Kestal walked into the Council of Mages, where the highest mages from each Class were gathered.

His crystalline white hair was swept back, behind his pointed ears. It contrasted sharply with his pitch-black skin...as it did for most members of their race.

Back in Kaymiril's semi-legendary past, they, Drow, had forsaken the UnderDark and come to the light. Their philosophies were different...but their natures were similar to their Llothian brethren.

But today, the third most-powerful person in Kaymiril had no time to dwell upon racial and historical ties to and from his or any nation. T'puuli, head of the Space Mages, had not called this meeting for no reason.

The Steward sat down at the head of the table and looked around the circle at all mages present. He was currently acting for the Valsharess while she was away on diplomatic business in Gronde.

To his right was Mith, head of the Healing Order, dressed in the Gray Robes of his class. Next to him, was Olath'yukin, Geomancer, in brown. Then was Plak'la, Chronomancer, in gold. Beside him was his wife and head of the Space Order, silver-clad T'puuli. To her right was Hydromancer Uuthli, in blue, followed by the crimson-cloaked Phish, Phyromancer, and finally, white garbed Aeromancer, Aeros.

"What news is there, T'puuli?" questioned d' Kestal. "Why have you summoned us here?"

The silver-clad mage stood, fixing her luminescent gray eyes on the man running the country for their Valsharess -- their Queen.

"There is a low-grade magick nation currently attempting to break out of its isolationism. I have monitored it for a time, and I believe it might be about to attempt to cause trouble."

D' Kestal looked at her. "What sort of trouble?"

"None that would threaten us. Only that would harm themselves."

"And they are magick?"

T'puuli shook her head. "In that they attempt it, not in that they can do what we can. They might have potential, however. Their Queen's health is failing, and it is beyond their abilities to heal her."

"And yet they will try to break free anyway?" queried d' Kestal.

"Xas. If I have monitored them correctly."

He stood. "I will contact the Valsharess. We will continue to monitor, and wait for her instruction before taking any action. Please return to your students."

Much of the Annexed territory in Xanadou belonged to nations, of which governments had ceased operations, and collapsed. Now it was under the Empires control, and will. INI 1 was now being carried out, as many Mortals we're being forced out, and onto crowded ships. "This Land is now declared PURLEY MAGICAL TERRITORY. All mortals, are herby exiled!" The man shouted out. The growing of PMC would be enourmous. However their neigbor to the west, would be left alone. Kurona was a very conservative nation, and they dared not to tempt it. But there would be no excuse for no one else right? It didn't matter even if you followed the Occult Religion of Chaos Magick, it was all or nothing.

Sieshiro looked with glea out the windows, of the vast land scape. "Wonderful isn't it? Soon only thoes who acutally practice magic will be left in this nation. The world wants to ignore us, then, we can show what happens when they do."

"When will INITITAVE II take place?" Asked one of his men.

"As we speak, we are seeiking territory. Ever since Lautsburgia and Seanovia we're claimed, things have been getting better. No more small isloated colonies, no more, small nations. Soon our Empire will equal or surpass the mortals of this world. The Empress tried, and she failed. Now it's my turn. I told her time and time again, the agressive rout would be the best way. She didn't belive me, and look what happend. Now it's my turn."

Only a few days after the Council had parted, it reconvened.

This time, however, T'puuli did not wait to be asked before she began. She merely conjured a scrying-sphere in the center of the table, showing the edict and showing the conditions their magickally non-capable...their "mortals" were being subjected to.

Teril checked the time the Valsharess would be experiencing, and contacted her, then and there.

"For what has the Council been convened?"

The Valsharess's voice was at once serene and concerned, soothing and powerful...commanding and clear. She was beautiful in a breathtaking way, but also in that she knew she had control over any situation.

"Valsharess, we recall to your memory the humans who were potential trouble-makers before. Now they have crossed the line. Any and all of their non-mages are being sent away in unsuitable conditions. We recommend that we take action."

For a few moments, the Valsharess was silent. Behind her clear blue eyes, there was obvious contemplation.

What business did Kaymiril have in acting here? Would they be able to consientiously allow these people to suffer, even though they couldn't use basic magick?

Then she looked up, her decision made.

"These acts must cease. Tell them such."

She cut the connection, and d' Kestal stood.

"I will send the message."

To The Empire of Magic Sorcery

We have seen your actions and deemed them unsuitable for any nation to take.

You will take back your citizens and treat them as citizens, or we will move in, and take your nation. Your people, mages and non, will become citizens of Kaymiril.

Live in Peace, and be left in peace.

By Order of the Valsharess, Kaymiril VII,

Teril d' Kestal,

"Magic? I thought it was a myth." Siko Piirmat, the Warlord of Mykuna, looked out his window over the capitol city where he reigned supreme. It was a pile of filth, as it had been for centuries. The Warlord of Mykuna had sought a solution outside of plundering neighboring nations, as the preceeding Warlords throughout Mykorin had for centuries. However, this time opportunity had arisen.

"Apparently, it is very real." The aid handed over the relevant paperwork, smiling like a child who had just celebrated Halloween and Christmas in the same day. "You do realize the implications, don't you?"

"The end of Mykorin's seemingly eternal image as a nation of slum dwellers and bloodthirsty killers. A chance to put food on the plates of our children and heal our sick. The end of the reign of the Warlords."

The aid cringed at that last one. "A classic battle of the desires of the community versus that of the individual."

"I have children too. Yet we cannot rush into this. Send a diplomat to try to get them to open up to outsiders. We must get them to understand how much good their gifts can do in the world."

Over the Empire of Magic and Sorcery, a lone frigate slowly lowered itself into the atmosphere. Thanks to the Gravity Drives, the ship was silent as it descended. About a mile above the imperial city, it hovered and a single needle shot out of the rear flight deck and dove towards the city below. As it got closer to the ground, the details of the Stiletto Flier became easier to see. The sleek shuttle circled a park nearest the Imperial Palace twice before landing. The craft slowed to a halt a few inches from the ground.

A few minutes after the people from the palace arrived, a section of the hull melted, forming three triangular steps hovering independently from each other.

A solitary individual emerged to greet the new arrivals.

"Moving on to Topic 4 on today's agenda, the Current situation in Magic Sorcery."

"It's clear they are upset, and frankely should we blame them. All they wanted was to have some say in the world, and everyone casted them out on their buts."

"Your exaduratind senator."

"Look Kanami has no ties to this nation. But let's see it this way. This could very well endanger our ties in Kurona."

"Well what do we do? Chances are they will see anyones desire for ties as last ditch effort to stop the Empire from claiming more land. Everyone ignored them, now they want to get back at the world."

"You know, the spark that lit the fuse was the revocation of the Pythogrian Embassy."

"Well they must be feeling good about themeselves."

"Let's see how the feel with this international desturbance."

"I don't think anyone realizes how they can contribute to the world. They have skills far beyond many modern nations, and skills that can rival even Future Societies."

"Well too bad a Post-Modern Society can't seem to agree with a Magic One."

"What About Kaymiril, they are threatning Force, if the nation doesn't cease and desist."

"Frankley, I didn't really see Kaymiril doing much when MS was calling for Ties. They are both Magick nations, now it's talking tough."

"Let's not forget, we got in a Cold War last year over expelling Muslims. Clearly we disapproved of that."

"Ultimatley it's up the Prime Minister. If it's a war they want, it'll be a war they get. Kaymiril means business."

"You think we could talk them down?"

"Doubt it. We'll have to see."

"What MS want's to prove is this: The World Didn't Listen, now we are going to make you listen. And of course they are taking the bad route."

"The Beltway also rejected their embassy."

"We have one in Beltway I belive. We could revoke."

"No not likely. Well we'll let the MOF do the rest."

Kanami is too concerned about the growing hostileties in MS, however we don't approve of any nation threatning to take over it. Clearly MS is very unhappy about being shunned by the rest of the world. Therefore they are taking the aggresive path, to get you all to listen to them. Yes we haven't had any real ties to the nation, nor have we actively seeked them. But the region of Xanadou also hosts a PT nation, incapable of combating MS. A war will not please Kurona, and will not make the region better off. You are jeprodizing it's safty, as well as the people of MS. Negotiate! Threatning with force is only going to make things worse. We don't condone their actions either, but really, this was comming.

Teril d' Kestal read this message and sighed. Dalharen...dalharen...why can they not understand?

Sitting down, he wrote a message to the Kanami government, made a copy for his own records, and those of the Valsharess (as well as various historians), before sending it off.

From the Office of Foreign Affairs,
the Hand of the Foreign Minister,
By Authorization and Will of the Valsharess,
She who is Sovereign over Kaymiril and All Within its Boundaries

To the government of Kanami:

Gre'as'anto lu' verve dro -- Greetings.

We see and understand your conern for the nation of Magic Sorcery. We hear and sympathize with your demand for negotiation. When possible, we of Kaymiril prefer negotiations to threats of violence.

It is, however, Our Will that the government of Magic Sorcery be equitable to all its citizens, and not abuse the gift it has embraced. Magick is not to be a tool for the gain of political power, it is a gift to be used to protect and maintain the good health and prosperity of a society.

Kaymiril is highly distressed by the actions Magic Sorcery is taking, and should they not desist and request negotiations with us, we will move in to stop these actions from taking place, and we will not hesitate to use force, in the protection of those the Magic Sorcery government is oppressing and driving out.

Please do not get involved. We posess a good deal of Space technology* and our mages are second to none. Your nation is an innocent bystander, as you yourself have said. We wish you no ill.

"Do Not get involved? Are they insane."

"Not as insane as you wll be if you don't take it as threat." Alex Lang of defense said.

"I realize that Alex, but Karou and Eleanore will think diffrently. Kurona is our one tie to that region. MS is Kurona's neighbor. If war is put onto MS, then Kurona will likely be sucked in."

"Perhaps let Kurona describe the regional risks. Let's calmley tell them, that because of our ties with Kurona, we have to keep our eyes. Tell them something."

"Well really that's Karou's job, once she get's back from Princstable, we'll see. "

Karou of course wouldn't wait. She made a romote message.

In Response to Kaymirill

Thank you for your letter. We understand you passions for wanting to uphold the civil liberties of the region. Kanami has had that expereince as well.

We certianlly don't wish you ill either, nor do we wish a clash of our idealls. As we could very likely see eye-to-eye, on this matter. The fact is Kurona is an ally to Kanami. Kurona is a neighbor to MS. We are not only looking out for the well being of the Region, and it's people, but Kurona as well. Just delay militant force for as long as needed.

We do hope that MS will come to the table, and we are concerned about the growing power of the Emergency Chancellor. Untill Her Highness, Emperess Kinimoto recovers from her illness, we must realize the nation is in a state of political limbo.

If it comes down to taking out the Chancellor, that will be left to you, and your mages. If that happens, we wish you luck.

Sincerly,

Karou Kamiah-Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Please be Very Careful

Honerable Teril d' Kestal, Aris d' Maril,

We understand you are distressed, we are too. MS has not shown signs of agression against us, but we don't know how long that'll last. For now we are taking all deportees from MS as refugees. I have meet the Real Emperess of the Nation, she really is a sensiable, down-to-earth, Sorceress, and would never dream of these actions. If anyone is to blame, it's the Chancellor of the country.

The last thing we need, is a second war on our hands. Espeically one of mages. We will do our part to negotiate with MS, as I'm sure Kanami, and your self will too.

Many attempts for alliances with MS have been shot down by my Cabinate. Although I generally have the most say, the Raven Order has final say. Many of them are heavy conservatives, and don't like the idea of Sorcery. I being Shinto, find nothing wrong with such practices, as long as they are peacefull.

We do admire you, as does Kanami, for taking a stand. We just ask you to be cautious.

Sincerly yours,

Princess Tomoyo Mikanu-The Principality of Kurona.

Darkness, in the darkness of space, a lone vessel swam into being, it's birthcry echoing as it tore through the nature of reality, emerging, gleaming and intact from the bowels of the Twisting Nether. Far below, a magickal war seemed ready to break loose; and it was only natural that the Scourge should be drawn to such energies. Theirs to tame, theirs to corrupt.

The Lich, Anduriel, known as the Dweller in Darkness, stood, hovering on currents of magickal energy; observing the sphere below them with a skeletal grin. "Send word to the Lich King" He breathed, mist drifting from his maw. "We shall introduce ourselves to these primitives, and show them the truer nature of Magick. The Power of Death and Undeath."

A small shuttle, containing the Lich and his guards; two Ghouls, Two 'special' Plaguebringer Abominations; and his own personal escorts, two highly skilled Rogues, assassins and thieves loyal to his will alone. It streaked through the sky, shimmering like a comet of ice, like the cask that had first bore Ner'zhul back into the Material plane.

The doors opened as it touched down, and the delegation emerged, the ground seeming to morph, twist and decay beneath the Lich's feet.

"Ah...Another world; an interesting sensation to touch so many worlds with the glory of the Scourge"

As long as you standardize your magic, it can be treated as fair. Like technology, it has its limitations. For example, it cannot cure your sick empress, and it shouldn't be able to call down meteors, raise the dead, etc., unless perhaps you RP with Future tech nations.

To RP with MT nations, you have to set your magic to about modern limitations. Limited healing ability, minor illusions, anti-personnel, anti-tank, or anti-air bolts of lightning, fire, energy, etc. Just think of modern technology and create magical analogs to it. A magic spell that might create a nuke-like explosion would have to be limited in some way. For example, the staff/scroll that manifests its consumes itself after one use, must be wielded by an exceptionally powerful sorcerer or sorceress, takes a great deal of resources to make, etc.

(Well I read about "God-Modding." So I try to be careful, with what I can and can not do as a Magic Nation. For example, Resurection has to be done within a very samll time frame, otherwise it won't work at all. Weather controll and manipulation is a very difficult task to learn for any person, and difficult to controll. Obviously I wouldn't want to give my self an un-fair advantage, there I said it.)

IC: "Hello." Said Madison. Greeting the new arrivals. "Welcome to our nation, please get in contact as soon as you can."

That was the best she could do. Everything she was doing was being monotired by the Chancelor's body guards.

The chancellor was giving another heated speach.

"Any Person who allows the supression, and segeragation of Magical People, is not fit to live in this nation. Some are not fit to live at all. We will do what it takes, to assert our position in the world!"

Miyuki turned to Yuki (of Defense) "I don't like this. I highly doubt this'll improve our relations in this world."

Yuki responded. "We have several nations wanting to take armes against us, I doubt we can keep this up for much longer."

"How Hitler got away with this for 10 years is beyond me. Our Chancellor becomes aggressive in the same way, and now we have the world paying attention."

"Let's just hope someone get's sense into him. Otherwise it'll be invasion."

Madison came in. "We have some visitors."

"We do?"

"Yes indeed. We just recived this message from apparently a space-based nation. I'm kind of encouraged by this actually, I mean they could be a potential ally when this finally blows over."

"How's Her Highness doing?" Miyuki asked.

Madison said "She's okay. I gave her a relife spell to help her sleep. Let's just hope her strength holds out."

"Why is it, no one can just accept us. She tired hard, and she tried the right way. Seishiro is doing it the wrong way."

"All right, all right!" She said. "Quite. Please. Now what is the situation?"

Alex said "So far, no threats have been made against us, or Kurona."

"I see, we'll let's hope we can keep it that way. Now I don't care if we are just a Modern Tech, and they are of a Fantasy World. We have to pay attention to this, otherwise we will have another Expulsion of Religions Battle on our hands. We almost went to war, Steven kept us out. So, tell me, who's in this."

"Kurona, mainly as a third party. Their Government has pretty much rejected any attempts to connect.

Icecrown Glaciar, they would most likely be of relations to MS.

The Red Tide National Anthem played as the words RTN flashed across the screen. In the background, Tatania Kapinski was preparing for the next segment of the broadcast. The song stopped, the words faded, and Tatania turned towards the screen.

"Greetings citizens of Red Tide and the world, welcome back to RTN. Our next story is about the disappearance of a citizen of Magic Sorcery visiting in Red Tide. The Intellegince-Consortium has launched an investigation, but suspects that either espionage or rebels have to do with the dissappearance. In other news..."

Kyoko could hear the sound of a vehicle engine... although it was muffled and hard to pick out. Then the vehicle rolled to a stop, the engine cut off, and there were more noises... although it was hard to pick out exactly what they were. Then a knock, and the sound of a door swinging open. An angry voice in Russian(what Red Tideans predominantly are) barked orders.

Kyoko was pulled up to her feet, she felt two powerful arms gripping her arm, it was cold and the air was sort of thin. The noises were now obvious, there were shouts of all sorts of different languages, ocassionally interrupted by the sound of automatic weapons. The blindfold was taken off and light flooded into her view. She was on the top of a shallow descent. Below her, strewn out was a big marketplace and there was snow everywhere. In the market place she could pick out various individuals... all of them wanted terrorists and criminals. Men stood at stands, waving assault rifles, machine guns, rocket launchers, and other military grade weapons in the air. At some of the market places stood battle tanks and armored personnel carriers. Beyond the marketplace was a mountain range.

Looking behind her, she could see the same beautiful mountain range. She had been brought to NorthEastern Red Tide... a place known as Black Market Mountain, run by the Red Tide Mafia. The two men who were holding her by the arms wore ski masks and had Ak-107 Assault Rifles strapped to their back, she was dragged down towards the market while the two men chatted to each other in Russian.

IC:

Over Magic Sorcery, an abberation occurred in space.

A pinpoint of light appeared where one shouldn't have been, and then space seemed to warp around it, until a Kaymirilian battlecraft appeared in all its glory.

It was fully a kilometer long, with a sleek hull and a deadly aura. It seemed to almost glow red, and on one side a black spider was painted, the other, a raven.

First, it shot off a message to the Balroggans.

Hail and good day. We have no quarrel with you, we are merely here to restore order in this region.

Then it sent a voice message down to the current governing power in Magic Sorcery.

"I am Jiral d' Kestal, here by will of the Valsharess. You will cease your
actions immediately, or I have authorization to call in a fleet so that we can land
troops and mages to restore order by force.

If you do not wish for your nation to be completely overthrown and assimilated
into our nation, you will send a representative to meet with me.

"We would have more nerve sir. They could have technology supiror to us."

"We will not waver. It's time we claim our rightful position in the world."

"Sir they will wage war on us if we don't."

"So stall them. What's Miyuki and Madison up to anyway?"

Seshiro walked out of the room. His advisors were unsure, he said stall so they stalled by silence. But they have to respond now. Perhaps they could try to justify it

Nation of Kaymirill,
MS, has been having communication difficulties, which is why we we're unable to respond. Use of military force will violate several regional treaties, made by our neighboring nation and it's allies. The reason we have been deporting, is due to high terrosit activity in the area, paticullarlly in our annexed territories (Rightfully claimed prior to March of this year) Martial Law was declared by our Empress earlier, (prior to our apparently hostile aggression) that terrorism would not be tolerated, by mortal or magic. Please understand we coverd our tracks to prevent terrorism strikes.

Sincerly,

Seishiro Kotobuki-Emergency Chancellor

"I hope that will hold them off."

Jiral looked at the message and scowled, before shooting off a message to his father, who sent word to the Valsharess.

It was only a few hours later when he got permission to try once more, before proceeding in leading the conquest of Magic Sorcery.

We have no concern with your allies, nor wish to harm them. We have
asked our clairvoyants to look back and see about this terrorist activity, and
we have noted none from the sources you are deporting.

You have a final warning. Send your diplomat and cease your hostile
actions to innocents, or we will help you in that regard.

"Worth a try," Miyuki said.

"Please excuse me, I forgot to properly introduce myself. I am a Ta'Nar from the Balrogga Empire. I evolved out of my body eons ago and only exist as a pure mind. You are hearing my thoughts."

"Don't worry, I will not invade any of your minds, I can only hear what you are actively broadcasting out, usually what you are saying. It is curious how many people have to think what they are saying at the same time that they speak it."

"Is this better? She was one of my human apprentices a few years before the Move. She was very intelligent and talented in Transmutations, but she didn't have the ambition to make it as a Master. She finished her apprenticeship and went off on her own. I often wondered what had become of her..."

OOC: My current ship designs look like the Shadow ships from Babylon 5 (I choose them because they match my general crystaline ship thing). Only difference is that mine are white instead of black and seem to glow with an internal light.

IC: A lone Muhorta class (http://www.b5tech.com/shadows/shadowships/scout.jpg) scout cruiser slipped out of a bay in the side of the Destiny (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/The_Illuminati_Orb/Schematics/RD20032520-2520Ship2520of2520Light.jpg). The Muhorta dissapeared in a flash of light (OOC: Looks like a combintation of the FTL from the new BSG and Andromeda) as she made a Jump through Mage Space, a plane composed of pure magick energy. The crystalline ship appeared after a few moments a mile from the bow of the hovering Balroggan mother ship.

Inside the three-hundred-fifty-six meter long ship, the five Dragonlords sent by the Saethe prepped for landing. The Muhorta drifted downward and would touch down near the Balroggan shuttle.

One of the thugs knocked on the door, which swung open and the thugs dragged Kyoko into a heated room. They placed sat her down on a chair infront of a desk.

On the other side of a desk was a rotatable chair, facing away. It swung around to reveal a man sitting on the chair. He smiled and asked in a English, with a Russian Accent, "Do you speak english?"

Madison took over for this. "Well we want you to know, our country isn't the agressive type. Very recentally we have been trying to gain diplomatic ties with the rest of the world. It didn't matter to us what technology level. But sadly no one paid attention to us. Then our Empress fell ill. Then our chancellor Seshiro took over. He was angered by the fact the world shunned us. So he wanted to prove our worth, by making us a world power. By Annexing more and more lands, expelling Mortals, claiming more and more for the world of Sorcery, and make the world pay, and even fear us. I'm not sure he counted on so much interferance. Seshiro is a well known Nationalist. The only reason Her Highness Chose him was because she sees good in everyone. Plus the order was the only one that was granted Global Jurisdiction by their very leader, the Lady who founded the Nation. They we're deeply concerned by this kidnapping, now they we're getting in on it.

Of course most of them being Mortal, they couldn't just go into MS and start investigating. They had to send someone who would blend in. A young boy, silver haired, 14 wondered the streets of MS, asking people about the missing Girl. He was hired by the Order to start it. He found a humble home, with the family name.

A young woman, early 30's, stepped out. "Can I help you?" She asked

"Yes, your daughter Kyoko, is missing right?"

"I swear if you..."

"No no. Ma'am, i'm trying to help her. So is a specail organization. We want to get her back safe and sound."

"Come in."

Finally, after hours and hours of driving(the thug was reading some book), the van came to a stop and the engine clicked off. The backdoor swung open and the Thug got out. The other Thug grabbed Kyoko and dragged her out of the van, she was in a warehouse. The thug put her against the wall and sayed in English(VERY heavy Russian accent) "Stay." Then the thug turned, got back into the van, and got a long suitcase. He walked over to Kyoko, opened the suitcase and took out... KYOKO'S STAFF! He looked at it, showed it to the Mafia Officer, he seemed to ask a question, then the Thug shrugged and dropped the staff right next to Kyoko.

A voice made the two thugs and the Mafia Officer turn around. There, in the corner was a Intellegince-Consortium Armored Car, a Consortium Agent, you could tell by the collar around his nexk, was walking over to the Mafia group, nobody was paying attention to Kyoko.

What luck! Her staff was totaly dropped by her side. She stealthly reached for it as the Mafia people conversed. It was all she needed to make an escape. She nearly grabbed it, but several men turned, forcing her to abandon it. No one really saw her making an attempt. As they turned again conversing she made another attempt. She grabbed it, but she didn't want to go for an immediate jail break. "Replicate." She whispered, making a copy of her staff, she could put back. When the time was right, she would make a break for it. But not now. It was still too dangerous.

The conversation went on for a little while longer, then the Consortium Agent broke off from the group and walked over to Kyoko, he took off his sunglasses, grabbed her by the chin and began to look over her face.

The Agents facial expression was completely blank, no body emotion, no emotion in his eyes, he let go, turned back to the thugs and nodded. The lieutenant said something and the Consortium Agent nodded, walking back past the thugs and officer, who followed the agent all the way to the armored car, which was in the opposite corner of the room.

"Well let me sum it in short. Our Empress fell ill, leaving powers to the Chancellor, since the world has decided to reject any of our requests for diplomatic relations, he's decided to make the world pay. He wants us to dominate equally along side mortals. And he'll step on whoever he wants to get there. Last I heard we are acutally occuping six nations, some uninhabited, some small, some weaker ones. Unless he was exadurading. But I know he's looking for a very naturally rich and massive country to take over. Soon enough he'll make the go for it."

"Interesting," replied Brue McConnell, "very interesting.

"Now, I have two questions.

"First, is the Empress's illness life threatening?

"Second, did the Chancellor appear to act anything like this before he got his 'power'?"

While she was doing this, the image she generated remained by the bed interacting with the advisors and the Empress.

“…you remember anything that might have triggered this illness? Is this illness something completely new or has it happened in your history or your nation’s history before? What are the symptoms? Describe…”

While she was asking these questions, she was measuring the Empresses physical characteristics like reflexes, temperature, and other mundane but important information.

“Please hold still. Now that the mundane examination is done, I will now begin the Metaphysical. This may tingle at times.”

Morganna concentrated her senses and completed a Psionic and Eldritch examination. She also did a Postcognitive examination of her history looking for any events that might have contributed to the Empresses condition.

One of the Dragonlord asked, "Could you describe the symptoms and about when and where they started? Was she in anyplace that is relatively new or unkown to your nation?"

McConnell raised his eyebrows, but did not make a motion to silence the other Dragonlord.

Instead he said to her, "I'll let you discuss that, Doc," he turned back to Miyuki and said, "As for this Chancellor, I may have to meet him face-to-face in order to gauge if he's under some form of external control or not. Kyoko left just in time, had she waited any longer, she would have seen the Consortium Agent rise to his feet, he had a dislocated shoulder, but calmly reached up with his other hand and snapped his shoulder back into place. He calmly turned and took in the scene, before moving over to the trucks front cabin and got on a radio inside.

Kyoko found herself in one of the many industrial districts of the city of Crig... Red Tides largest city. Trucks travelled back and forth... The ones going to the factories carried raw materials, the ones coming from the factories carried boxes of weapons and ammunition. Tall chimney stacks rising from steel mills belched black smoke. A flatbed truck rolled right by Kyoko, on the back was a MBT-66 Main Battle Tank. It had just been manufactured and was on its way to a military storehouse.

My mistake, I was meaning to add post #84 to the quote too. That was the last time you addressed the scenerio involving me. The rest was with your student and with the Dragon Lords.

Basiclly unless you want me to make up something about what your Empress has, you will need to supply information as far as the results of the scans, both mundane and meta-magical. There is also the case studies from other aflicted people you mentioned.

I cannot create this stuff because that would be basiclly godmodding, or calling shots with your characters. You have not given me any permission to do this.
