OOC: i noticed a lot of new FT nations out there, time for me to meet some.

Some what far from federal borders a small fleet had chugged along, only about 5 ships were present, they were cursing in to an unknown sector of space, close to the center of the milky way, trying to find stable wormholes and other strange things for research, as well as life.

The lead ship was the USS Republic, it was a brand new cruiser the most advanced in the fleet, it was followed by 2 lancer class frigates, and a harbinger destroyer The last ship in the fleet was the USS John F Kennedy a re fitted star carrier.


the large fleet drifted along there hulls dully gleaming along with the light of the dense cluster of stars and nebula around.

on the bridge of the republic things went slowly but surely.

the commander who was rather young, about six foot one inch tall, stood over looking the thousands of holographic panels sensors stations, AI stations and such, he sighed as his officers and AI crew worked quietly and swiftly scanning with grate detail.

He spoke and said "send out a hail"..

The con officer looked up and nodded pressing a few holographic buttons oping a channel

The commander smiled and said "This is the USS republic, we are a ship from the federal union come to explore this area. "



The commander nodded and the con officer cut the line, they all went back to work the commander walked towards a chair and sat on it over looking his bustling bridge.

A small Dominion strike fleet, consisting of a Legacy-class battleship, a Resonance-class cruiser, a Nova-class frigate, and two Otari corvettes was out on exploratory sensor sweep of the nearby systems, and a fighter group was close enough to pick up the comms. The Retribution interceptor squadron pulled around, inbound towards the TFU formation. The squadron leader responded quickly.

"This is Avenger Lead, Republic, we've got you on sensors. Are you in need of something?"

one of the 2 new Black hammer class ships was at the edge of PLANT space and heared the transmission

Black hammer commander: this is the ZAFT forces Assault ship Eclipse we have you on sensors this is are border if your not here for a fight then you must deactivate all your weapons before crossing are border

The Pananab Stowian Demi-Fleet was trading and pirating nearby, and decided to contact the Fedral Union.
"Greetings. We're the Nomadic Fleets of Pananab. Our lives depend on trade and contact with the outside world, so we would liek to expand our trade to your nation. Pananab has much to offer and would liek to know what the Fedral Union has to offer in return. Would a Trade Agreement be acceptable? We have very few tarrifs because we depend so dearly on trade."

A blanket response was sent to all party's, the commander appear on screen his smooth silky skin black hair and brown eyes peered in to the screen, he spoke

" We are here to make diplomatic contact with nations or life in this area, we are also here on a survey mission, as for trade we will be willing and able to to conduct what ever trade you wish, we have access to many .. advanced goods and such, at any rate our weapons are disarmed we wish no cause of incident, and request that each of you send a delegate to the republic.."


the large ships floated slowly its oddly rendered hull gleaming in the light of the star systems close to it, its engines revving up and glowing slightly as there hull lights blinked, awaiting a response from the seemingly endless expanse of space.

the large Black Hammer class ship got the message and sent a response

commander: we would be happy to trade the PLANTs welcome you

Avenger lead reported back to the Republic after quickly exchanging comms with the fleet.

"Copy, Repbulic, we'll have a diplomat en route to your ship."

A small but to the point response was sent, "You may send a shuttle to the Republics after bay"

"We will send you copies of our more advanced technology for your use, provided you send us copies of your technology. This is a fair trade, no?"

The Aft bay of the large ship opened up a little its force fields emplace as it awaited arrival of diplomats, and other persons.
