The Georgian Republic is a new nation that consists of what once was Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. The nations were brought together by diplomatic and militaristic means during the late 2000's. The new nation is currently upgrade it military, rebuilding unity in the nation, the first Nation elections for the unified nation, and developing the economy.
The United States would like the welcome you into the world, and express our hope that you will prosper well into the future.
Should the Republic require assistance, the US is ready to help.
We are actually in the process of upgrading our military. But seeing as most of our technicians and soldiers are trained in old soviet style equipment, most of our purchases will be coming from there. However, we will definatly keep the United States in mind. Our two nations should build greater ties for a better tomorrow.
The US stands ready to provide support beyond military assistance. Additional investment, trade, and cultural exchange are all on the table. These are the true ties are nations should build.

To: Geogian republic
Greetings. As the Georgian republic is rather "New" in a sense, we wish to begin not only trade with your nation, but close ties to unite both ends of the Middle East. We wish to invite you to a meeting in Mecca, within the week.
The House of Sauds
Aye yes they are, seeing as we do have oil reserves in the area, would the U.S. be interested in importing oil from the Georgian Republic? This would greatly benefit our economy and would give the U.S. a more stable region in which to compliment its importation from the Middle East?

((OOC: Okay here you go))
Late in 2006 the nation of Geogia and its leaders decided that the Caucasus Mountain region would prosper. Citing the success the EU, Georgia was able to quickly convince Azerbaijan that a joint annexation would be in the best interests for the Caucasus's. This presented a problem for all parties: the nations of Armenia and Azerbaijan were not exactly in the best of terms.
Talks continued into early 2008 when a new man arrived on the scene. Marcus Nervea, a man from Georgia, came to the table and negotiated with all three sides for over 4 days straight locked in a conference room. He was eventually able to convince the Armenian goverment to join the newly named Georgian Republic.
However, this did not mean that the people in Armenia and Azerbaijan would simply forgive each other and become the best of friends. Radicals formed and in the winter of 2008 they made terrorist attack in both of the formerly hostile nations. The new Georgian military was quick to act, but the rebels were very motivated. The fighting lasted untill June 22nd 2009. That was the day all major terrorist groups signed a peace treaty; a week before all the major terrorist leaders and cells were killed or destroyed in a massive military operation called Operation Embargo.
Since then, the Georgian Republic has been promoting unity within its peoples to good effect and has been preparing for its first unified elections.
