After a heavy storm , the A.M.S.S Basra(Kirov Missile Cruisers) was set off course and ended up in uncharted seas. The Commanding officer send one of his KA-32 Helix out to scout out the area. To his surprise the helicopter crew reported back that they observe land ahead and which was not even on the maps.. The Commanding Officer was just shocked to the fact this was unclaimed and uncharted land..

The Commanding officer name was Captain Yusef bin Hussein , he quickly send out an highly encoded transmission to Imperial High Seas Command for further orders. Within a matter of hours, he got orders to send scouting teams to this Island and quickly claim this island in the name of the Khailfah as a protectorate of the Imperium. With that the Captain send out four scouting parties to map the terrain and report back. Plus He send out his second in command Commander Ibrahim ibn Al-Walid with a landing party to make the officially claim to the Menmosyne Isle as a protectorate of the KLM. Within a matter of hours, the Commander made land fall and rise the flag of the KLM, just making the officially claim to the Island.

Four Weeks later

The KLM government sends a taskforce to garrison the isle of Menmosyne and help build the settlement. The taskforce was compose of

This taskforce was assigning the job of building major military bases for the newfound settlement. As the Arm Forces came the Island, so did 60,000 civilians interested in making new lives on the colony, they build the first major settlement and call it Port of Sehzade and the colony itself was called from now Sinanistan. Just beganing the first major settlement in this new world.

Four Months later, since the founding of the colony

The General-Governor of Sinanistan Majid bin Said Al-Busaid, who was appoint by the Sultan to run the colony in till it grew to the point, where self government can be granted. Which was going to happen soon, since the colony was growing rapidly and new towns were being set up by the new wave of colonist. The latest census has shown the colony has grown to 1.4 million and growing. The General-Governor has stated that his goal was to expand the colony to the point where the entire Island under their rule. The Colony was on its way to becoming a major Dominion within the KLM…only time can tell.

Dominion of Syriana, former know as Sinanistan

The Judge Advocate General has review the colonial government and approve its request to become a full Dominion of the Khailfah, and it was officially given the name of Syriana. The Sultan appointed the Viceroy and High Commissar for the Dominion Government, they were Nasser-al-Din Shah Qajar for the Office of Viceroy, he was of Persian background, Ahmed Mukhtar Pasha el Ghazi for the Office of High Commissar, he was of Greco-Turkish Background, both were of the Unionist-Reformist Party. Then came the elected government of Syriana, Said Hossein Hashimi for the Office of President, he was of Arab background, and last for the Saleem Ahmed Khan for the post of Prime Minister, he was of Indian Asian Background, both President and Prime Minister were members of the Social Democratic Labour Party. Also the Dominon move its capital to the new city of Al Fujairah, which was 60 miles inland and 60 miles from the old capital of Sehzade, which is now a major seaport for the Dominion.


The Dominion has grown to the size of 17.8 million and was still growing at massive rate. The main ethnic group was of Middle Eastern Background (Arabs, Kurds, Persians and Turkic groups.) who made up 35 percent of the population. Another 25 percent of was Asian Indian Background and Southeastern Asian backgrounds. Another 20 percent were of European background. Then there was 15 percent were of African background(mainly from East and West Africa). The last major group was East Asian who made up 5 percent of the population, they were mainly from China or Japan. Just the Dominion was made up of many different unique groups.

“In today news, the KLM State Mining Company has made a public announcement stating that it has discover a massive vein of rare minerals ores such as Gold, Sliver, Diamonds and etc in the Antioch Mountain range.. Also they have stated that deposits of gold and other rare minerals are two times size of the deposits in South Africa. The Imperial Central Government has given a number of contracts to the following mining companies to mine these resources out, they are State Mining Company, Joint Stock Mining Company and another contract was give to the Kocatepe Company to help in the mining of the mountains. The State Loans and Grant Company has issue a interest free loan of 60 billion dinars to fund this mining project and issue a state grant of 20 billion dinars to help in the funding of the mining project.

The Imperial Government has a great interested in this project to do the current of more gold and other rare metals to back the currency of the state. Therefore the Government will keep a close eye on events related to the mining of this region in the Dominion of Syriania.”
