1)Due to the current situation, Huahin has decided to invest more money in revolutionary weapons. Current weapons in development include the use of high altitude nuclear detonation to produce EMP effects, High Energy Radio Frequency weapons, and Railguns. Railgun testing has progressing at a promising rate, and a 100mm bore gun is currently in use, and although it must be serviced after each shot, with the latest advancements in technology, its efficiency is ever increasing. Railguns will also be used in tests in Fusion Reactors, by firing pellets of fusible material at each other. The impact would create immense temperatures and pressures, allowing nuclear fusion to occur, and in tests to fire projectiles at orbiting structures.
2)Huahin has recently begun the fortification of the Isle of Man, as it is converted into a penal colony for prisoners of war, murderers, and rapists. Other nations' criminals are also welcome, for a small fee. Medical facilities are provided on the island.
