Fushin was pissed...not pissed pissed...but pissed.
"The entire school will hear if this continues..."
Fushin stared at Len who had suddenly gotten the news that he wasn't allowed to go to class.
"WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Fushin plugged his ears...this would be harder then his owl tests....

The paintings warned Vladimir about Len’s behavior in the room. That made him mad. This was the first time in a long time he was mad. Good thing he was not in the Great Hall because he would told the other students what happen to Len. He storm out of his office, heading to the Len’s room. He was wearing dark blue robe with silver wolves on it, his black dragon staff in his right hand.

As the door to the flew open, Vladimir walked inside. The door slammed shut behind him. He raised his wand at Len then said “Silencio”

Len's voice suddenly dissapeared, however not surprisingly it did nothing to stop his sadness, as soundless tears continued to leak.

Fushin stared at the headmaster...
"That was really not needed..."
'Sigh...hmm suddenly figured out why this isn't a preschool...'

"I could have cast a silence spell on the room in a minute..."
Fushin stated dryly

“But you didn’t do it.” said Vladimir, looking at Fushin. “There is six year old mind in that boy. So, it needs to be silenced.” He looked back at Len and said “Stupefy.” That spell will render the target of the spell unconscious. “He will be safe. So, get something to eat and get this mess fixed.” said Vladimir. With that, he left the room.

Fushin stared up and rolled his eyes
'...by a minute..I meant just before you came...'

"I'll be right back Len..."

Lason nodded in agreement and headed up to his room. As he made sure everything was properly organised, Ghost slithered out from under the covers. ""Ah, there you are." He commented to the python, "Now where is it?" He mused as he fished in his stuff before pulling out an orangish stone.

"Ah ha, hear it is." He said triumphantly as he set the stone in it's proper place in Ghost's basket. "Now no complaining about being cold anymore, ok?" He said as the snake curled up into his bed as he likewise got under the covers.

He woke and set out a mouse for Ghost's breakfast. Getting dressed, he headed down for breakfast. Taking a seat he poured a bowl of corn flakes, a few slices of bacon and kippers on toast as well as pouring a glass of apple-grape juice.

"Yeah - I would have assumed so - all of the core classes," Titus replied. "Herbology? Eh... aint one of my favorites."

"Doing better already," he commented as she succesfully levitated the bacon over to the fox cub.

Kotatsi full after his cooked breakfast notices Fuzzy nearby and they meet halfway picking up where their play ended the previous night.

Aiko leaves a bowl of water for him by her feet and says to Titus "my grandmother has taught me some Kirisuban spells already. Some are similiar to charms i'll learn here.

By the way have you seen Len since last night?"

Vladimir walked into the great hall, in a happier mood. He smiled at the students as he walked to the head table. After getting to the middle chair, his chair, he looks out at the school. “Morning everyone.” he said loud enough for everybody to hear. “I hope everybody had a good rest.”

He placed both hands on the table, “I have bad news. One of the students has be bewitched.“ he said. The students was shocked about that, some were asking who was not in the great hall at that time. “The student’s name is Len Zinjaing. We have him in room in part of Markhalls. For everybody’s safety, nobody is to see Mr. Zinjaing.”

“We are doing everything we can to undo the spell.” he said before sitting down.

Lason wondered who Len Zinjaing was, before remembering he'd overheard an older student comment that he was one of the two in that altercation yesterday. "I wonder what spell was used to enchant Len, and whether is was an 'unforgivable' or just a generic curse." He mused as he finished off a roll stuffed with bacon, egg and cheese.

Aiko drops her piece of toast in shock unable to believe what she's heard.

She knew she had to help Len.

"Titus, we've got to help him" she says quietly "he's part of our house"

Titus was watching Fuzzy sniff around the ground and eating all the food the sloppy students were dropping. He continued to watch the polar bear cub as it met up with Kukatsi and they began playing, much to Titus' amusement. Len... he heard Aiko say.

Before he could respond, Professor Semenov announced to the entire school that the very same Len had been bewitched and was being kept away. Again he was about to comment when Aiko send the unthinkable; Titus, we've got to help him - he's part of our house.

"Yeah, but he is mental!" Titus replied loudly. "And on top of that he has been bewitched... I am sure that Professor Semenov is doing all that he can."

"I hope he is" Aiko replies "but he needs friends as well especially at this time"

"That may be so, but you heard the Professor: 'Nobody is to see Len'," Titus replied. "Besides... I never really liked him - he always kind of got on my nerves."

After finishing his meal, Titus glanced around the room looking for Dan.

Kioshi appears behind the students and goes, "Ahuuragh!" and gruffly announces his presense to them. "What's this about helping Len?"

Aiko eats her breakfast and decides even if she can't see Len herself she can send him a gift.

While the other students eat she gets her small book of kirisuban folk tales out of her pocket and touching her wand to it she says "Hon-yaku suru"

the book floats in the air and each page opens by itself and the kirisuban script is translated into english text.

the process takes a minute to complete and Aiko puts the wand back into her blazer pocket.

She leaves the hufflepuff table and cautiously approaches the headmaster bowing in the normal kirisuban way.

"It's nothing," Titus replied to Kioshi, "We aren't helping him..."

A black owl flew into the great hall, a broom sized package in his talon. It had a green ribbon tied around it with the symbol of D’Agata family, a golden king cobra. So, everybody knew who this owl was but the first year students. It drops the package in front of Giovanni. He undid the ribbon and opens the package, inside was a Firebolt version two. It would help him in the match this year. A huge smile was on his face.

She leaves the hufflepuff table and cautiously approaches the headmaster bowing in the normal kirisuban way.

The headmaster and other professors were talking when Aiko walked up to the table. “Morning, Miss Fujikawa.” said Vladimir. “Is there anything you need from me?”

Kioshi slammed a book down on the table and smirked, "You Hufflepuffs...you know how to fix the damn curse already! I already figured it out before the announcement while searching for one to cure the immaturity of Len. What was going to be a punishment is going to remove the curse. Only Slytherins know how to properly utilize our resources!"

Fushin walked into the great hall quickly and began piling a small tray with food. A small apple there, a helping of bacon there...however as the food began to pile up, it became apparant that either the man was starving or he was planning on eating with a friend.

Fushin paused before lifting the tray up...and began to walk out of the great hall making a quick glance behind him to make sure no one was following him.

"good morning Vladimir sama" Aiko replies "I wanted to ask since we can't see Len if it was possible to give him a present which might help him.

Its a book of Kirisuban folktales he was interested in last night and if he knew that someone cared about him that might help him get better"

she offers the book to the headmaster.

“It is Professor Semenov, if you address me.” said Vladimir. He never wants a student to address him by his first name, he was the older person to them and he had a title. He took the book from the young girl. “I will make sure the book will be given to Len. And I will tell him who it is from.” he said to her.

Aiko blushed slightly and replied "Professor I meant no disrepect. In Kirisubo you use a persons first name when you address them. Adding Sama to the name shows that they are a lot more important than you are.

I'll try not to make the same mistake in the future"

“Ah…” said Vladimir. “Well, get back to your table and eat because after classes start. The only time you will eat anything is at 11:25 or so.”

Fushin walked into Len's room quietly, bringing with him a the tray.
Fushin sighed and then began a standarized pattern.
"Silencio" Fushin pointed at the room.
"concutio" Fushin pointed at the door and calmed silently as he began feeling the movements of everything 2 meters outside the door.
"Alternate animadverto" Fushin spoke quietly.
Fushin stumped a bit as he said those words but the spell had done what it was suppose to do. The pictures in the room would only see images he wished for them to see...it might have been a bit extreme but to be truthful..Fushin felt fairly uncomfortable with the idea of headmaster Vladimir getting angry. The spell combined with the silence on the room should effectively keep the headmaster thinking everything was alright...Fushin breathed hard...he probably only had enough magic to unstun Len and a few other tasks and then he would be drained for quite a while.

Fushin turned back to the stunned Len and stroke his hair silently, thinking about how life use to be so much more simpler.
"I'm trying to help Len...but you have to help yourself... if you don't... you might get thrown right into the ministry even if you don't hurt someone.."

OOC: Clarification -sensei is the proper form when refering to a teacher/professor, -sama is when refering to someone that is higher then you, in some forms can be used as Lord or Master..etc

Aiko smiles slightly and bows again before returning to the hufflepuff table.

She notices Kioshi and eats some more toast taking the headmasters advice to heart.

Already she had put her foot in it and she promised herself she wouldn't make a habit of it.

"Yeah... I am sure you have figured it out," Titus replied sarcastically, emphasizing the word you.

"I've found this spell here that will fix Len, but doing so means that whatever was trapping it would be utterly released. It seems as if Len's immaturity comes from a mental reset, someone is hiding something from Len. Though do we REALLY want to release it if its such a problem that they'd go through everything to cover it up so neatly? Something so blatantly obvious is not Kleptomania, its childlike. I suggest we learn more about freeing the beast inside Len."

Kioshi's knowledge seemed to stem from the books description, but his personal knowledge shows that he is no ordinary student. Kioshi sighed softly and looked at the group, "I hope no one is trying to break the seal on Len."

Lason looked over at the newly arrived Arsenius. "Do you know when we'll find out our lesson plan?" He asked as he finished breakfast.

Aiko stands up as tall as she can get and replies gently "how can we break a seal if we can't see or visit him and why would we disobey Professor Semenov's orders?"

"Ennervate.." Fushin pointed his wand and Len was finally un-stunned.
"Daddy...why was Professor Semenov so scary" Len huddled and curled up into a nearby blanket.

"Its because you woke up his cat who was pregnant..." Fushin honestly couldn't think up any better excuse...

"What..." Tears began reaching Len's eyes again. "Is the mother cat okay?"

Fushin nodded "Yes its fine, but Len I know your upset that you can't see your friends but the mother cat might accidently hurt her baby if you scare her."

Len nodded furiously "I'll be really really quiet daddy.. I promise" Len shut his mouth tight..

Fushin nodded happily, it seems Len had already recovered..however just to make sure..Fushin took a quick check and made sure his silence spell was still active. Fushin looked back at Len...
"Oh my god Len!! You don't have to be that quiet..breath breath!!" Len opened his tight mouth and took a deep breathe of air..

Lason looked over at the newly arrived Arsenius. "Do you know when we'll find out our lesson plan?" He asked as he finished breakfast.

“It is normal classes for us first years.” said Arsenius, who was eating some bacon. “Astronomy, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions, and Transfiguration. Because there is only nineteen first years, all of our classes will be the same.”

“I think Herbology is our first class.” he said. “All yeah, here.” He heads a book with the title ‘Quidditch Through The Ages’ on it.

"Ah." He replied, "And thanks for the book." He added as he began leafing throught it. "Wait, do you know when Herbology starts?"

“Make sure I get the book back. It was gift from my father.” said Arsenius. “There is bell that will go off at nine and then we have fifteen minutes to get to our class. I know where it is at, so we will not be late.”

"Alright, I'll do my best." Lason promised, "I'm going to get the text, then I'll meet you back here?"

"So you don't care if Len is abused horribly and is mentally fixed to follow the whim of his masters? Its just another version of the forbidden curse to it! Its even more powerful because of the ability to rewrite the mind and keep the disillusionment long after the spell would normally end."

Kioshi pointed to a section in the book that blanket was marketed, "Forgotten Magic" and pulled out his wand, "Watch carefully."

Kioshi's wand touched the page and said, "Magi Apollyon!" The title of the section began to warp and change, the section title's letters moved and formed, "Forbidden magic"

The words on the page covered highly complex and simple spells that dealt with the powers of a mage, mind control, and death. All the secrets of the magical world were inside the book and three notable curses were in it....

Kioshi tapped it again and said, "Magi Temenos!" The title remained the same and the text changed to form complex healing spells meant to specifically counter the other forbidden spells.

One was listed, "Confusio Destituo". Kioshi pointed this anicent spell out and showed how it cleanses the mind of all spells that have been worked on it. The same as a remedy does to the body, this does to the mind.

"This spell....will fix Len."

"Alright, I'll do my best." Lason promised, "I'm going to get the text, then I'll meet you back here?"

“Okay, see you in little bit.” said Arsenius. “The book is called ‘One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi’. To make sure you don‘t get the wrong book.”

All this was going over Aiko's head. her grandmother had never shown her anything like that before. She however knew if spell was forbidden there was a very good reason for it.

"Wakarimasen" she says slipping back into kirisuban without even thinking about it. "I don't really understand what you're getting at but I've given a book to the headmaster which will be passed onto Len. Its the book I told him the story of the 47 loyal ronin from last night. i hope he'll know he's got a friend once he recieves it.

he needs to know that people care about him and thats something we can do"

"Not that I don't know this stuff... but why are you telling me this - I am not he headmaster," Titus replied.

OOC: This all seems a bit Deux Ex Machina to me...

Lason nodded as he returned to his room and began looking for his books. "Hey Ghost, where'd I put my books?" He asked as he paused for a second and crooked his head as if he was listening to something, "Ah, that's right, thanks." He said as he set the Quidditch book on the bed, grabbed the text for herbology, and headed back down to meet Arsenius

OOC: >.> Suree.....though it will only mess Len up even more. Kioshi doesn't know what problems Len faces. Though his way of doing it is just like harry, ron and hermoine's way. XD

"The headmaster doesn't need to know, you keep this spell ready for when you see Len. Problem...even I don't know how to gather the materials to help make the potion that Len will have to drink before the spell can be used on him."

Kioshi pointed to a list that had at least 5 rare and hard to obtain items that would pose a true challenge to obtain even for the best of them.

It was getting near the time to leave for class. It was 8:45. Getting time for the students to finish their food. Most of the professors were heading towards their classes. To prepare for their students, make sure everything was ready.

Aiko finishes her breakfast and after asking an older Hufflepuff boy finds out where the Herbology class is.

She grabs the bag holding her books and other things she'll need for the school day and goes looking for her first class room.

With the herbology book in hand, Lason looked for Arsenius, who seemed to know where the class was and had agreed to lead him there.

OOC: Post-Hufflepuff encounter time.. >.>

IC: Kioshi went to the library to gather books about the curse that Len had been afflicted with, after pulling out five tomes worth, he checked it out and made his way back to the Slytherin House, uneventfully.

Aiko arrives in time and looks through her school bag for the Herbology book she needs as well as a large leatherbound notebook and a few pencils.

she takes a seat and waits for the class to start.

An older Hufflepuff boy told that it was in the greenhouse. And to follow behind those two first years, Arsenius and Lason.

With the herbology book in hand, Lason looked for Arsenius, who seemed to know where the class was and had agreed to lead him there.

Arsenius lead Lason to a greenhouse, where the class was going to be. He had everything he needs, too.

Kioshi awaited the other students in Herbology class,

OOC: Kioshi is not in Herbology. That morning class is for first years only. We will say all four years have Potions in the morning class.

OOC: My mistake....I'll fix it. Someone want to RP Slytherins teasing Kioshi for helping Len?

IC: Kioshi went back to the Slytherin dorm and started to read the books from the library, hoping to get potentional insight onto Len's curse.

Aiko follows the other first years out to the greenhouse and gets everything she needs out again.

Freidrich kept to himself the rest of the night. He woke up early the next morning to get ready for the day ahead. Then he made his way up to the Great Hall. Making his way to the Hufflepuff table he ate some eggs and pancakes. Once finishing he made over to Emma Clearwater and tapped her on the shoulder.

"Sorry for disturbing you, but I'm sorry about that comment I made to your brother. Also I hope you have a great first year."

As Arsenius lead the way, Lason wondered if they were going to just do a general introduction today, as was usual in a normal school, or if they were going to be getting down and dirty, and if so, with what herb or fungi.

Emma looked at Freidrich. “It is all right.” she said. “Well, got to head towards class.” With that, he followed the other first year students. The first bell rang at 9:00, meaning the students had fifteen minutes to get to class.

Greenhouse

A man wearing a dark green robe walked into the greenhouse. All of the first years turned and watched the man. This man was the Herbology professor, a Russian wizard. Professor Suvorov was the head of the House Ravenclaw, too. He sat down at stool in front of everybody and starts counting the heads.

“Nineteen.” he said. “Looks like you are all here.” He flipped open his pocket watch and adds “And before 9:05.”

“Talk with yourself for ten minutes because that is when class really starts.” he said.

Seeing most of the people leave Freidrich went back to his seat and finished his meal. He watched Emma leave the Great Hall. Then finishing his meal he walked out of the Great Hall. Most of the first years were off to Herbology. Remebering that his first class was Charm. Freidrich made his way up to the third floor and to the Charm Corridor. Opening the door he saw Professor Gabine. Most of the other third years didn't even notice him coming inside. Making his way to a chair Freidrich was ready for the class.

Lason decided to mingle with his class mates, and wondered what they'd be like, if there was to be a rise of an 'alpha', and if one who'd get dubbed an 'omega'.

Aiko spots Lason and says "hi" giving him a smile.

"Hi." He replied, "What's your name?" He asked of the girl.

"Aiko Fujikawa" she replies "House Hufflepuff first year and yours would be?"

"Lason Vonde, Ravenclaw." Lason said

Aiko bows and replies looking at Lason with her big dark eyes "i'm glad to meet you. you went through the sorting hat just before I did"

"How are you finding the place?" He asked

"its hard to tell after only one night but so far i've met a few of the older Hufflepuff pupils and getting to know the girls in the dorm. So far things are going well" Aiko replies.

Her little fox cub looks up at Lason as he sits at Aiko's feet.

"Sounds like you're enjoying yourself. Any prior experiance with magic?" He asked

"my grandmother has taught me quite a few kirisuban spells and helped me create my wand" Aiko replies.

"our magic works by tapping your own mental energy so after a few spells you start to get tired"

"Not quite what I was asking, but good to know. In fact it's a majorly exploitable flaw." Lason thought as he replied, "This is my first experiance with magic."

Aiko looks at Lason and says "The older Hufflepuff students have told me that I'll learn quickly and so should you.

I looked over the charm spells before i left Kirisubo and they don't seem that hard to learn"

"Likely, I've read over all the assigned books, so it shouldn't be that difficult." He replied

"I wasn't able to read a lot of the books before I left so I'll have to do some catching up. I had to go into the north of Kirisubo to make my wand" Aiko says as her fox cub jumps up onto her lap.

"what is it Kokatsi?" she asks him in her oriental accented english.

Kioshi is wandering the halls again, looking around for someone he knows.

Lason raised an eybrow at the kit's actions and wondered what it wanted.

The bell rang at 9:15, Professor Suvorov looked at the nineteen students in the greenhouse. He knew everybody yin the room by name and what they look like. “Okay, class. Get out your books.” he said.

Charm Class
Professor Gabin was wearing a lovely purple robe that had golden fairies dancing around the robe. A total of fifteen were on the robe.

Professor Gabin look at her class. A total of twenty students sat in front of her. Five from each of the four houses. “Okay, students.” she said. “This year will be will be looking at Cheering Charms.”

Her students should have the book ‘Achievements in Charming’ on their desk. “Open your books to that chapter.” she said.

Potion Class
Professor Kirshner was wearing a dark red robe with the Hufflepuff logo in the right upper chest.

Professor Kirshner looked at the students in desk around the room. She counts the heads in the classroom, she knew she would be missing one student. So, she would have nineteen today. They would have been five students from all of the four house but today they would be only four Hufflepuff in class. Dan and Titus were in their chairs, waiting for class to start.

But she only counts eighteen heads. Somebody was missing. “Kioshi Tanaka. Has anybody seen him today?” she asked.

Freidrich heard Professor Gabin then looked at the book. It would seem that he would have no trouble in this class. Then he grabbed the book and moved to the right chapter.

Lason pulled his book out from his bag. Raising his hand, he asked, "What page?"

Greenhouse
“I have not told you what page, Mr. Vonde.“ said Professor Suvorov to Lason. “I just want your books out.” Then he looked back at the class, “This year I will lecturing about such dangerous plants as Devil's Snare. But you will never get to work with very dangerous plants.”

Charm Class
Professor Gabin looked at class. “Can any of you tell me what a Cheering Charm is and does?” she asked.

A blonde hair girl wearing Gryffindor colors named Lorraine Adler raised her hand. A beautiful young girl, she was. “Yes, Miss Adler.” said Professor Gabin

“A charm that cheers a person up, to make them happy.” said Lorraine.

“Correct.” said Professor Gabin.

Freidrich looked at Lorraine. He had a crush on her since the first year, but he had never enough guts to talk to her. She probably didn't even know he existed. Freidrich looked at her for a second then back to the book.

Fushin stared at Len....
"Tired little brat..."
Fushin tucked Len in fondly before walking out...

'I...I'm sorry Len...you'll never be cured'
Fushin looked at his hands as he walked the empty halls..
'I wish I was stronger...forgive me Len'

Not watching were he is going...he accidently bumps into Kioshi

"Yes professor." Lason replied, a faintly disrespectful tone in his voice. "If I may enquire, what types of plants will we be working with this year," "And not just hear you ramble on about." He added mentally.

Aiko gets out her book, puts Kokatsi back on the ground and listens intently to the professor. She sits beside the red haired Calliope, the other Hufflepuff first year girl.

“The non-dangerous ones.” said Professor Suvorov. “Like Flutterby Bush.” He hit his wand on his table, white puff of smoke in front of the students. Through the smoke was sample of Flutterby Bush. The bush begins to quivers and shakes.

Aiko starts to sketch the plant sample into her large notebook and she asks politely putting up her hand "Professor, what are the properties of the plant?"

“Nothing really. It is not used in any type potions.” said Professor Suvorov. “You will just have to pruned one later in class. But not today.”

“And it listed in your book.” he added.

Aiko nods her understanding and looks in the index of the textbook for Flutterby Bush and moving to the relevant page in the book.

Lason raised his hand and asked, "Then why do we learn about if it isn't for use in a potion, nor appears to have any other useages?" As he asked he checked the index and flipped to the page detailing the Flutterby bush.

Professor Suvorov looked at Lason. “Because this is herbology class not potion class.” he said, with almost smart arse tone in his voice. “The Flutterby bush is magical. See it shaking in front of you. That is why I will teach you about the Flutterby bush.”

“I will talk about other plants that you use to make potions but that will be a later date.”

Aiko knew from going to school in Kirisubo to have respect for her teachers and the quiet Calliope knew that as well.

she rolled her eyes knowing Lason was going to get himself in trouble. She completes the sketch and makes notes based on whats in the textbook.

"Yes Professor." Lason replied as he looked at the bush and thought, "Just because it's magic, doesn't mean it has any use, and if it has no use, why study it."

Freidrich looked at the Cheering Charm. When would he ever need to use this. Reading the book he saw that it was invented by Felix Summerbee. Looking threw move of the pages he saw The Summoning Charm AKA Accio. While reading the title he thought this might come in good use for him. Then he read the description.

This charm summons an object to the caster. It can be used in two ways: by casting the charm, and naming the object desired , or by pointing the wand at the desired object during or immediately following the incantation to "pull" it towards you.

After class he would have to try this.

OOC: I think this a dead thread. DMG is away and he was the most active fourth year. Kioshi is not going where I told him to go in the OOC thread. This thread started out good but lost everything it had after the first night.

ooc: If you want to restart it/create a new one when DMG returns, I'd be interested.

OOC: Don’t think that will work. All of my thread don’t work. Unless it is marriage thread or war thread. We did start good.

ooc: That it did, and perhaps it'll restart/continue when DMG returns(if you wish it to of course).

OOC: We will see about that later.

Potion Class

Titus waited a few short moments to see if anyone else would raise their hand to answer the professor's question. He usually did this even when he knew the answer - which was almost always - however nobody raised their hand after a minute. "Yeah... I saw him, ma'am," he commented lightly.

OOC: I will see about getting Jenrak back to posting in this thread.

Professor Suvorov continues the lesson about the flutterby bush and Aiko is grateful that she didn't have anything really heavy to start off with. she still felt a little nervous and unsettled.

Her grandmother was an extremely able herbologist and still worked in the Kirisuban Ministry of Magic. a post in there awaited Aiko one day although were depended on how she did in Markhalls.

Both of the morning class were over. It was now 11:00 and the students would have an off time until lunch at 12:00.

The Quidditch teams all head over to the Quidditch pitch. They were going to play around and make sure they still had what it they need to play. Professor Caerphilly would watch and make sure nobody would get hurt.

Aiko takes out her charm class text book as she watches the Quiddich players from under a tree. Kokatsi plays nearby getting to know his surroundings.

she was familiar with Quidditch having seen a few games of it before. There were only a few teams in the Empire and they were confined to the wizarding schools. Her great grandfather had been a seeker for the Mount Tanaka school and just maybe some of his skill could rub off on his great granddaughter.

She had always wanted to play it but she had been told that she needed to learn to fly first before she could even consider it.

She would have to learn here so getting on the Hufflepuff team might take a while.

Aiko opened her text book and after putting on a pair of glasses she reads under the tree.

The red haired Calliope joins Aiko and the Kirisuban knew just how shy the greek girl was. As their pets play Calliope says "Aiko, I wonder if we'll get to play someday?"

"we've got to be able to fly a broom first" Aiko replies and they discuss the first year Hufflepuff boys while they read and watch the players fly above their heads.

A gust of wind blows off Aiko's straw hat and it flies into the air and into the playing area..

A black train pulls into Bern, Switzerland; a great steam train, a resplendant ride for the rich and the powerful. A figure steps down from it, clothed all in black, pulling his coat tight about him, coughing into a black, elegant, leather glove; as he makes his way across the platform; the tapping of a cane echoing as he progresses. He looks around, gazing at the city, before continuing on his way; he has procured lodgings; and once he has settled in, he will scour the city. Magickals always have a subtle network of conceit and trickery; piercing it is but the first step. he chuckles softly to himself.

They hide and they lie and they make their profits on trickeries and spells; but they cannot hide from him. Someone in this city knows what will aid him; and though he is armed with a mere word; he knows it has significance. A name; A Place.

He smirks impishly, yes...There will be time enough to find out all he needs to know.

Going back to his room Freidrich found the dorm empty. Sitting down on his bed he started to remember the charm he saw in the book. Getting up he stated "Accio" and pointed his wand toward a chair. The chair started to pull toward him. Then the chair stopped moving once he pulled away his wand. The other part of the charm was you could say Accio then state a object. "Accio Achievements in Charming" then in a instant he found the book from the charm room. Tommorrow he would have to return it, but for now he was going to test out the new charm.

"Ah... Quidditch season begins again!" Titus said happily as he gathered his books and began heading out of the door. "See you later Dan... unless you are going to try out for the team this year," Titus commented as he exited the classroom and headed for the Hufflepuff common room.

Once he was there he dropped his books in his room and grabbed his broom, a Firebolt - perfect for a seeker like Titus.

He quickly returned to the pitch where many of the other players from the different houses stood and were talking. Titus looked around for the other Hufflepuff players and the captain of their team ((OOC: Sorry, forgot his name and position)).

Aiko prods Calliope and says to her "thats Titus going out to practice" and waves to him.

They then get back to discussing how cute the Hufflepuff first year boys are. Aiko had her eye on the shy Irish boy Devin Riley but she doubted that she would have much off a chance while he was shy. Something would have to be done about that.

Calliope adds "Aiko, i've no favourites yet but I wouldn't know where to start"

Aiko replies "stick with me and you'll learn confidence. my Grandmother always told me that good things won't fall into your lap. you have to take them from time to time"

“Oh…Titus.” said Bartemius Clearwater, the captain of the Gryffindor team. “Meet Irvine Alan Strombreck.” He pointed to a black hair boy with a Hufflepuff robe on. The boy had a Firebolt version two in his hands.

“Looks like you have somebody after your seeker position.” said Bartemius.

"Always is and by some stroke of luck I still end up with the position," Titus joked about his skill not being terribly great. He wasn't terrible but he wasn't amazing either - somehow he managed to have enough to skill to keep his spot each year. Anyway, even if he didn't make it, he could try out as chaser - the position he had originally tried out for before being told he might me a good seeker.

Going down to the field he saw Titus and some other Hufflepuffs. Looking around it seemed that they were getting ready for Quidditch season. Freidrich had never really gotten into Qudditch. He sometimes went to games, but most of the time didn't. Then he saw Bartemius.

"Hey Bartemius, how do you think the Gryffindor will be this year?"

“The team will be good during this year.” said Bartemius to Freidrich. “But why are you asking me. You should be asking about your team not the Gryffindor team.”

The captain of the Hufflepuff team watched Ravenclaw team practice. She was sixth year student with long brown hair and green eyes. Corinna Mihai was her name and chaser was her game.

Aiko still stretched out under the tree near the quidditch arena had given her straw hat up for lost for now.

she checked her watch and there was still some time before lunch.

"I want a closer look" she says and moves out of the cover of the trees and onto the edge of the arena.

she soon picks out the Hufflepuff players, some on the ground and others in the air because of their yellow and black team colours.

"are you sure this is wise?" Calliope asks and Aiko replies "we'll be perfectly safe on the ground as long as we're not on the playing surface.

Calliope still not entirely convinced the two first year girls move closer.

"You never know Barteminus. You should always check out every single team too besides your own. So how do you think Hufflepuff will do this year?" Freidrich replied.

“Like I’m going to tell your team weaknesses to you.” said Barteminus

Simon Dragoti shot in front of Hufflepuff girls. He caused a small wind. He spun back around and flew over to them. “Sorry, if I scared you two.” he said, hovering in front of them.

Calliope was slightly shaken up but recovered quickly but Aiko was unruffled.

The Kirisuban girl bows and says "I wasn't scared but thank you all the same. My names Aiko and my friend is Calliope.

once I have enough flying lessons I hope to play quiddich as well"

“Well, I wish the best to you two.” said Simon. “See you around, Aiko and Calliope.” With that, he was racing along on his broom.

Aiko and Calliope sit down and watch the players practice. Kokatsi her fox and Calliopes cat seem to be able to get on as well.

She can still see Titus and Barteminus talking and she lies back on the grass so she can see the airborne players better.

"I'm kidding Barteminus. I barely ever go to the Quidditch Games. Last year I only went to a few. I plan on going to a few this year. So do any of the first year Gryffindors look good to you. If you don't want to tell that's fine." Freidrich replied.

"Does it matter... first years never make the team," Titus replied as he got himself seated on his broom and then took off into the air to begin his practice.

“Yeah, that is what you think.” said Barteminus to Titus. Giovanni D' Agata flew up next to Titus. “My brother would fly circles around you, Titus.”

Out of the locker room, came that brother. Big brother had been training with him during the summer. Raffaello flew like he had been doing it for years.

"Barteminus you seen your sister anywhere?" Freidrich asked.

when Calliope seen Raffaello D'Agata fly past she gasped.

Aiko shrugged a shoulder and says to Calliope "he's probally got all the first year girls in Gryffindor after him already.

If he can fly like that already we can match him and thats hows we'll get noticed."

Aiko had her master plan in place. all they needed to do was wait until flying lessons started. Both girls knew the theory but neither had practice.

The Kirisuban girl turned to her Greek friend and says "I read a book on broom stick flying before I came here. Our methods may be slighty different but they should work here.

Can you bring my broomstick and i'll show you?"

Calliope runs off and returns with two broom sticks, hers and Aiko's.

"Calliope, this takes confidence and a commanding tone of voice. Control of the broom is done by willpower" Aiko says.

Aiko stands beside her broom and says "Ue Ni*" firmly and concentrating hard. It rises slightly and she mounts the stick and still concentrating commands the broom to hover so she sits on it 8 feet in the air.

Calliope tries but lacks confidence in her tone of voice and the stick whacks her in the head before falling to the ground.

"oh no" Aiko says and lands running over to her friend.

"i'm sorry Calliope but we can try again later on" she says hugging the Greek girl.

Larson headed up to the rooms to study, and converse with Ghost. If someone had come by and been listening, they would have heard a rather unusual vocalization, almost sibilant, and most definately not normal.

“Yeah, that is what you think.” said Barteminus to Titus. Giovanni D' Agata flew up next to Titus. “My brother would fly circles around you, Titus.”

"Good for him - I really don't care," Titus said as he darted towards the ground in a dive.

Aiko and Calliope return to their dorm, leave of their broomsticks and as their pets play in the front of the fire, Aiko and Calliope get to know each other better as they talk about themselves.

The Hufflepuff common room seems quiet with a lot of the Hufflepuff students all over the castle or in the library.

"lets go exploring" Calliope says. Aiko agrees and they leave the fox cub and the cat behind this time.

Leaving the common room their first stop is the library as they get to know the places they'll be spending a lot of time in.

Aiko checks out a book on quiddich and the two girls find a table as they read up on the rules.

Titus continued practicing on his own for a while before asking on of the beaters to help him out. It felt so good to be back on his broom and playing Quidditch. He practiced dives, soars, spins, spotting the golden snitch, and then with one of the beaters he practiced racing and dodging the bludgers.

He had been practicing for a while so he decided to end his day of Quidditch. He dove towards the ground one last time before pulling up just a foot from it. After slowing to a stop he hopped off his broom and sat down to relax.

Now better informed on the rules Calliope leaves the book back and she returns to the quiddich pitch with Aiko.

the Kirisuban girl spots Titus again and appears behind him.

"Titus how was your practice?" she asks,Calliope not too far behind her.

"Titus how was your practice?" she asks,Calliope not too far behind her.

"Not bad..." Titus replied as he laid back down on the grass. "Takes a while to get back into the feel though."

"What have you two been up to."

Calliope answers saying "we had herbology class this morning learning about the flutterby bush, Aiko tried to teach me how to fly and we read about the rules of quidditch in the library before coming here again"

she excitely adds "Aiko can hover already. she must have had some lessons before coming here"

Aiko lets the greek girl make conversation since it was how she planned to help her friend and if she could talk to an older boy she could talk to anyone.

"where do you play in the team?" Calliope asks full of curiosity

"I originally tried out for chaser a couple of years ago, but I was told that I would make a better seeker," Titus explained. "So I tried out for seeker and here I am as Hufflepuff's seeker... at least for now."

Larson looked at his watch, and old wind-up, and noting that it was almost noon and time for his next class, he said good-bye to Ghost and decided down to where he'd been told it was by an older student.

Aiko decides to speak up and betrays a little bit of ambition.

"once I get better at flying I'll try out for the house team" she says softly "the game isn't totally unknown in Kirisubo and I have seen a few matches"

"Being a spectator, being able to fly, and actually playing the sport are all quite different," Titus replied. "I would reccomend taking your time and really mastering everything before you start and then still be wary as it can be a brutish sport sometimes..."

"i had a great grandfather who was a chaser in the Mount Tanaka school of wizardry and witchcraft" Aiko replies "but I will be patient and get better at flying first.

I also know about rough games. I played rugby union in my old school so I know about getting hurt"

((OOC: I am going to assume that rugby is just like modern day rugby... if I am wrong correct me.))

"Rugby might be a contact sport where you can get hurt, but I doubt it is anything like being smashed in the back of your head by a steaming bludger and then free falling a couple of hundred feet towards the ground," Titus remarked. "All I am saying is don't bite off more than you can chew or you might choke."

Aiko flashes Titus a smile and says "I'll be careful but i'm sure if i don't give this a try i'll regret it forever. Taking part is always more fun than watching"

she sits down beside him and Calliope sits beside Aiko.

"Yeah... maybe," Titus replied, a knowing sound in his voice though somewhat disconnected. Truth be told, he was quite hungry after practice and was wondering if it was near lunch time yet...

Aiko replies genuinely curious "Titus, now you've asked about our morning what was yours like?"

"The usual," Titus replied. "Breakfsat, class, talking with friends, and now Quidditch."

Aiko consults her watch and says "since you seem to have other things on your mind i'll catch you at lunchtime then. i want to get some more flying practice in before that happens"

She leaves Titus walking away with a hard look on her face.

Calliope stays and says quietly "I think you've just made Aiko more determined to play"

Aiko goes back to her dorm and gets the broom stick half angry and half determined.

Even Kokatsi noticed his mistresses mood and slunk away from her.

once in the castle square she called her broom, hovered until she felt confident and took to the skies determined to prove that she could fly.

With her broom under her control she circled the castle square getting higher and higher as she worked off her frustration.

"Flying is not the same thing as playing," Titus remarked calmly and somewhat detatched.

Aiko's confidence increasing she heads higher clearing the spires of the towers and flies over the quiddich field practicing a fast dive even although her broom is a standard one.

She pulls up 30 feet from the ground and flies quickly in a straight line keeping the same altitude even dodging a bludger on the way.

"Alright... well, I will see you later," Titus said to Calliope as he stood up with his Firebolt clutched in one hand. "I am going to go put my broom away and relax..." he commented as he walked away from the Quidditch Pitch and back towards the castle.

Once inside he made his way to the Hufflepuff dorm and into his room. He dropped his Firebolt by his bed and went to take a short shower to freshen up.

Aiko does another fast lap of the quiddich pitch and then lands beside Calliope.

The two girls then return to the Hufflepuff common room, Aiko having worked off her anger and frustration.

She drops of her broom and gets cleaned up ready for lunchtime before sitting with Calliope near the fireplace while Kokatsi and Socrates, Calliopes tom cat play.

Aiko looked across to Devin who was buried in a book while he sat in another armchair further away from the fire. He didn't notice her although.

Sensing that Kokatsi was nearby, Fuzzy, Titus' polar bear cub, darted out of the boy's dorm and into the common room where he found the young fox.

"don't they get on so well together" Aiko says to Calliope as the cat also seems at ease with a polar bear cub.

The players all headed back to their dorms, to get cleaned up before lunch. The words was out, tonight after all the classes were done. The try-outs will began. Some teams will be the same and other will change. Get new members and old members leave.

Freidrich went back to his to the dorm and started to read the Charms book he had taken. To him there was noting better to do before lunch.

Lason was presently sitting outside the lunchhall, reading through the book for the class after lunch. He was also wondering if there was a way to get food between official meals. He was also hoping it would be a practical lesson this time.

Having left the Quidditch Pitch before the alotted time for practice and warm up, Titus had been able to take a long, relaxing shower in peace. Afterwards he headed down towards the Great Hall and realized that he was still earlier than most of the students, especially those who were playing Quidditch.

back in the Hufflepuff common room Aiko realised it was nearly lunch time so she got out off her chair followed by Calliope and their pets. Even Fuzzy followed them.

they approach the great hall as the clock strikes 12.

"Fuzzy..!" Liam said loudly as he looked up from his plate full of food to see the polar bear cub following Aiko and Calliope into the Grand Hall. His plate was piled so high with food it was amazing he even noticed their presence.

"Hi" Calliope replies as they take their seats at the great table.

Aiko sits beside Calliope and Devin and the Kirisuban girl takes some slices of chicken, a few potatoes and some peas and settles down to eat her lunch.

Kokatsi also gets a slice of chicken and he makes short work of it.

As he was one of the first to get to the Grand Hall for lunch, he was also one of the first to finish despite his large appetite and meal.

After he had his lunch Titus headed for the common room where he promptly sat down and began scanning his books, even though he had already read them over the summer... what else was he going to do when he wasn't allowed to practice magic.

Lason finished his meal as he worked through the book he'd been reading. Looking around for the other first year he'd been talking with earlier, and had forgotten his name, to ask about where the class was.

Aiko gives Fuzzy some slices of chicken as well and while she eats Fuzzy and Kokatsi play.

Socrates gets some food as well as well and sleeps by Calliopes feet.

Freidrich wasn't hungry when it was lunchtime so he went back to reading.

OOC: The first years will head to Defense Against the Dark Arts because there to first classes were Herbology and Potions. The others can go where they want aslong as it is not DADA.

Lason looked at the schedule, and found out where the defence class was. Inserting a book mark into the defence text, he headed down. As he walked he wondered if it would be a practical class, or lecture class. It also seemed to be one of the more interesting classes that were being taught.

Aiko finished her lunch early and after leaving Fuzzy and Kokatsi back in the common room she went to the library to look over the defence against the dark arts text book.

it looked like it was going to be a lot harder than herbology and Aiko spent the rest of the lunch break reading over the first chapter before heading to the classroom.

She met up with Calliope and they entered together taking their seats.

Kioshi relaxed in the Slytherin room, reading and catching up on work, but was planning something for those weak-minded Hufflepuffs. Something that all Slytherins like to do, cause trouble.

Titus put his books away and glanced at his schedule. Transfiguration... he read before putting it away. It was one of the more interesting classes, next to Defense Against the Dark Arts, so he decided to arrive on time. He made his away out of the Hufflepuff common room and found his way to the class... five minutes early.

He had entered the shop; gently perusing; browsing around, waiting till it was empty of all but he and the proprietor. A smile crossed those lips, as he stepped forward, artfully removing his gloves; placing them upon the counter; raising his eyes to meet those of the shopkeeper. That smile remained upon his lips.

"Can I help you sir?"

"Perhaps you can. I've just arrived really; I'm seeking something. The school" And he grinned, a maniacal grin that no sane man would bear; a grin that forced the shopkeeper to step back. "Markhalls. I assume you've heard of it."

"Yes, but it's-It's Private. I couldn't direct you there, they'd simply turn you away at the gate."

"Really?" Matthias tilted his head softly; gesturing madly with his hands; a word uttered, a gutteral grunt from his lips brought shades down, blotting out the light from outside. The Shopkeeper cowered now, stepping back, madly seeking something to save him, something to invoke.

"Ah ah ah...." Matthias scolded lightly. "Silencio!" He hisses, and suddenly the man has no mouth; flesh covers where it once was, and Matthias advances, grasping him by the throat and lifting. "Now; let's begin...Shall we?" He reaches over, hands closing around a letteropener. "You will spill your secrets; spill and spill...And...Spill" He grins as he punctures the man's flesh with the letteropener, a roar of muffled pain behind his sealed lips. "Spill your secrets like blood. Spawn of murderers they are; and you'd protect them. Filthy little vermind, scuttling and hiding! AND YOU HIDE THEM FROM ME!" He gestures and the man is sent flying, smashing against a shelf; making it collapse upon him. Matthias sneers, dispelling his enchantments. "TELL ME WHERE!"

And as the man began to speak, Matthias listened; smiling, his lips curving in a sinister impish grin; before he turns away, knocking another shelf over; potions, ointments, ungents; all forms of liquids pouring over the floor.

"GELNIK!" He hisses, turning to glance at the imp that squats over the prone shopkeepers form. "Come..." Matthias whispers, tipping over a lit candle; watching the liquids catch flame. "We have work to do..."

And as the man began to speak, Matthias listened

ooc: By this, I am pretty sure he meant that he was told where (roughly) the school was, as long as nobody (mainly Trans) has any problems with it. I personally think it is a good idea as it could pump some life back into the thread if he shows up at/near the school and wreaks some havoc.

OOC: Chronosia, you can show up, if you want. I don’t care. Matthias is going to be outnumbered. Plus, there are two dragons that stay at Markhalls.
