Ion Cannon Tested

Numerous reports came in today when the small village of Longsight witnessed a huge blue beam fire deep into the mountainside from space.

one eye witness said " It was like the power of Kane had taken a different form, this bright light came down from the heavens and went right through the mountain. The noise was deafening and the ground shook."

This report was dispatched from the ministry of war advancements.

" This was a routine testing of a new 'Ion Cannon' space weapon. It still undergoing the fine tuning to ensure that the skies above Nod and its allies remain safe from missile and other enemy threats and also has the abiltity to fire upon cities and enemy units."

For, even though Gejigrad had orbital missile platforms, they had not yet mastered generating a laser powerful enough to be used as a weapon, much less something this powerful.
+++Curious and wary, but lacking a way to blend into the local populace without being blatantly foreign, the Gejigradian military was forced to watch and wait. Perhaps one of the human nations would discover the secret, and they could buy it from them at a later date.

Unknown battleship destroyed by Nod forces

In the past few minutes unconfirmed reports have been coming in of Nod Jets circling the sea of Able where an unknown war ship was destroyed by the Hand of Nod (also known as the 'Ion cannon') our glorious emperor spoke out.

" Relax my people, this threat was swiftly eliminated by my glorious hand, although we have yet to discover whom this agressor was, One ispleased to state that our orbital weapon despite being incomplete made quick removal of this tresspassor. I have this to say to the nation that sent the ship in; When we find out who you are, we will not hesitate to retaliate. Nod is a sovereign land and noone will interefere with our exisitence!"
